sir,
my client krishna mishra having an a/c at canara bank, had swap money from the atm machine of corporation atm,now what happen that money is not available in atm machine but the same amt has been deducted from his saving a/c,after claiming the matter both the banks deny from the fact.
kindly look into the matter and obliged.

    Respeted sir,

    I am Mr.K.srinivaulu who is having account in Tirupati Canarabank ( Bairagipatteda Branch) My account no.11196 and also got ATM at the time of Account opening. But unfortunately I missed the card since 2004 after that I submitted one requested letter to the Branch manager and also paid 150/- towards charges against re issue of the ATM. Still there is no response in bank side.
    Please send me the another ATM as soon as possible.

      My 69 year old mother received a post card from the Bhandup-West Kukreja complex branch, where she has an account.

      The post card carried a plain "Please call us". There was no number given.

      The bank's pass-book nor stamp had any contact numbers.

      I checked the website of the bank and found their call center number. The number was constantly engaged. After getting through finally, I was given two numbers,[protected] and[protected]. When I dialed them, both gave, "Number does not exist".

      I called the call center again and explained the problem. I was now given the number of the circle office,[protected] and[protected]. These numbers were constantly busy.

      I checked the site again and found a series of numbers for the main Mumbai Branch,[protected] to 46,[protected] to 77 and[protected]. I tried dialing almost all of them--multiple times; but all gave a busy tone!

      Some more searches showed some websites giving the numbers of all banks in the area. I found the number of another Canara Bank branch in the area. They gave me another number,[protected]; which was different from all the numbers on any official site,

      I tried for about 15 minutes constantly; the number too was constantly busy!

      Now my mother will have to go personally to the bank. If only whoever sent the postcard had mentioned the number!!!!

        My account is with Canara bank, Branch-Hazaribagh, Jharkhand,Pin-825301, On 19/10/2006 a Transacation of Rs 2700 was attempted using Canara bank ATM card at a SBI ATM machine. Transacation failed,but 2700 was deducted from my account.The SBI ATM machine from where the transacation was attempted is situated in Liluah,Howrah.pin-711204(adjacent to SBI branch).I wrote a letter to the Canara bank, manager, Hazaribagh branch, along with the xerox of the failed transacation slip regarding this.They told it may take a couple of months to return 2700 back in to my account.After 2 months when i Contacted them again they said with in few days my money will be returned to my account and in this way finally after around 2 years,in July 2009, i again wrote a letter to remind them,but till now i haven't got my money back.The transacation was attempted by my son who lives in Liluah,Howrah.

              Hello Canara Bank, Hello Sir,

              Yesterday, 1st sept 2009, I tried to withdraw money from Canara Bank ATM as it is the nearest ATM from my house. I've salary account in HDFC Bank and i tried withdrawing from Canara Bank ATM. To my surprise, transaction cancelled and i could not withdraw the money but the amount got debited from my Account!.

              I've Logged the complaint through HDFC Bank and Complaint No. is PAN033207

              Since i have committmet to pay to EMI's, i request you to transfer my money to my account immediately.

                Hello,

                I hereby wish to put in writing that Canara Bank is unnecessarily causing problems by deducting extra amount from my Savings bank account against my housing loan. I have taken housing loan from Canara Bank Housing loan branch, South end road, Bangalore and I have never defaulted till date (since last 7 years).

                However, every time I check my SB account details, I realize they have deducted extra money from my account without valid reason. I have brought this to the notice of authorities concerned. In June this year, I have even clarified the same and taken in writing from them that I have not defaulted on my payments and there is no pending arrears to be deducted.

                Since I am not staying in Bangalore, I am not able to go the bank regularly. My aged father is visiting them regularly, but they do not seem to oblige. This month also they have deducted extra money and claimed that I have defaulted.

                I am disgusted with the attitude and wish to complain to the concerned.

                If any authorized & responsible (if any at all) person from Canara Bank can approach me on my email address, I can provide all the documental proof.

                  Respected Sir,
                  I have applied for the education loan (Rs 2,50,000) at Canara bank modakkurichi in the year 2007. behind my request they have also sanctioned it . I received the loan amount ( Rs 50,000 per annum) for past two years. I'm getting Rs 35,000 for the odd semester and Rs 15,000 for even semester. This year they sanctioned only around Rs 17,500 due to some reasons. please enquire about this and reply soon

                    i had withdraw money from canara bank atm on 17 august from Borivali East ATM Near S.T Depot Mumbai.i had withdraw only 600 hundred and again check the balance..i get 600 hundred in first time and second time only i check the balance but they also deduct 600 hundred more from my account..I get only 600 hundred and deducted 1200 from mymaccount I am using SBI ATm..today is 31st august but i didnt get the my money back.Please see to it.My account Number is [protected]..

                      Unable to use credit card

                      I have a credit card no. xxxxxxxxxxxx4006 issued by Canarabank in November 2008. My value limit is Rs 50000.00 but so far I am unable to use it when I need it. Except few occassion every time it get rejected. I contacted the issuing branch of Canara Bank at Noamundi (Jharkhand), and Bangalore main branch to find the reason.. Even after registering my complaint for last eight months, no solution has come up

                          Hi,
                          I'm Vedanayagan.I have taken Education Loan of Rs.1, 00, 000 to complete My engineering. I finished Engg on May, 2008. From 2009 Feb I'm working in a MNC company. I planned to repay my loan in this year itself so that i have started repaying money from June.

                          1. Im getting Rs.22, 000 per month and Im paying Rs.18, 000 against my loan. Some of the Officers from the bank said, You shold not suppose to pay this much amount per month and should not complete in a year. Is it so?

                          2. I asked them to provide principal and interest brak up for my tax excemption. But they gave transaction list. But that was not accepted in my company. I asked them again, But they roughly said that that is the only slip that they can give. How do I get the Provisional Certificate(Break Up). Total interest is more than Rs.40, 000. Till now they haven't given that. So I have to pay the tax for these amount.

                            But till today the above said amount has not been credited to my S/B Account. The same matter has been intimated to our Canara Bank Manager Sri. Ravi. He has corresponded to your office several time through e-mail. But I regret to inform you that no Action has taken to Credit the above said amount to my S/B Account even after my repeated written compliant to my Bank manager.
                            I have been told to send you e-mail in this regard. I hope an early action will be taken at the earliest by avoiding me to take further legal action.

                              i have lost Rs10000 from atm, i was using punjab national bank's atm(eranhipalam, calicut, kerala)with my canara bank atm card, on june 2nd 2009, i have given written complaint to my branch(kakkodi, calicut, kerala) but still i did not get any response from their part. they have been told me to wait for 45 days but it is more than 75 days are got over...as a student i couldn't afford. can you please help me immediately ... my account number 55482, canara bank, kakkodi branch, calicut, kerala

                              I am an ex-officer of Canara Bank. Having worked in diffarent branches I had come across many such complaints.These complaints are not difficult to solve. But bank staff overloaded work do not react positively to such complaints. Politeness, courtesy, positive attitude, helping nature. As a
                              service sector employees one should possess these qualities. However my suggestion is respective circle offices
                              may authorise any one of the staff member in the branches to
                              handle such compliants and act as a liason officer and follow up the progress and solve it within a reasonable time. Otherwise bank's reputation will suffer.

                                Sir,
                                Sub: Service charge collected by Sundaram Medical Foundation, Anna Nagar, Chennai-40, when debit card was used for bill payment-regarding.

                                On 27-07-09 I made a payment of Rs.489.60 as bill payment to Sundaram Medical Foundation. This included the service charge of two percent.According to rules no service charge should be collected from any customer. I informed the clerk, Mr.V.P. Guberan about this rule but he insisted that I pay the service charge if I wanted to pay the bill using my debit card. I had no choice but to pay the service charge also.

                                May it be brought to the notice of all private and public concerns that it is illegal to collect a service charge on debit/credit cards.

                                I have come across instances of hospitals charging uninsured patients more compared to insured cash-free settlement patients, for the same procedures. I understand this differential charging is widely prevalent. Is this true and is it legal and ethical?

                                  SIR, I AM SENIOR CITIZEN MY SISTER WANTED TO MAKE AN INVESTMENT IN BANGALORE SO I GAVE MY LOCAL CHEQUE(CANARA BANK) FOR INVESTMENT I TOLD HER TO TRANSFER HER FUND TO MY ACCOUNT THEN SHE GAVE RTGS FROM SBI BANK (HER BANK) IT IS ON 03/08/2009 MORNING 12 O CLOCK IMMEDIATELY THE SBI HAVE SENT THE AMOUNT AND GOT ACKNOWLEDGED AT TIME 13:14:54 ON 03/08/2009 BUT THE FUND HAS NOT BEEN CREDITED IN MY ACCOUNT ON NEXT DAY 04/08/2009 MY CHEQUE PRESENTED AND HAVE BEEN SAID DISHONOURED ALSO 250 RS HAS BEEN DEDUCTED IN MY ACCOUNT WHEN I CAME TO KNOW THAT ABOUT THE CHEQUE HAS BEEN DISHONOURED I MET CANARA BANK PEOPLE THEY SAID THAT YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN GIVEN WRONG ACCOUNT NO AND AGAIN I WENT FOR VERIFICATION THEY SAID IT IS YOUR MISTAKE TO GO FOR RTGS ATLAST ON 12/08/2009 I MET SBI THEY SAID THAT CANARA GOT THE MONEY ON 3RD ITSELF AND THEY SHOWED THEIR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT IN ONLINE ATLAST I CAME TO KNOW THAT MY CANARA BANK BRANCH WAS NEWLY INTRODUCED BEFORE LAST 6 MONTHS SO DONT KNOW HOW TO RECEIVE RTGS SO THEY DELAYED TO RECEIVE MONEY NOW ON14THEY CREDITED THE MONEY NOW TELL WHOOSE MISTAKE IT WAS MINE OR SBI OR CANARA I GOT TERRIBLE MENTLE STRESS AT THAT TIME BECAUSE OF NO FUNDS AND I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MONEY FOR 10 DAYS AND SEVERAL STEPS THEY CAME TO KNOW THEIR MISTAKE AND CREDITED IF I DONT ASK THEY WILL SAY NO FUNDS ARE THERE I M HAVING THE SBI PROOF, MY STATEMENT WHAT SHOULD I DO FOR COMPLAINING AGAINST THEM(CANARA BANK)

I had deposited my salary cheaqe (Citi bank mumbai) on 09.04.2012 around 3.30pm in Ashok nagar canara bank, my a/c No :[protected], and i spoke to customer care on 11.04.2012, they told your amont will be credited on 12.04.2012, but still i didnt get money in my canara bank a/c. On 13.04.2012 i spoke to customer care they told it will be credited on 16.04.2012 due to government holiday . Customer care given wrong information to me and i disappointed with us . Very worst service ..

                                    i would like to inform you that i went to your atm at nagarbazer where i wanted to withdrawn rs 200 from your atm but i could not get money but my account was debited on dated[protected]. i inform this matter to bank manager who told me my account was credited aftersome time. but my account is not credited. please take this matter seriously & reply to me with proper solution.

                                    Yesterday i tried to withdraw an amount of Rs. 2600 from my IOB account but I didnt receive the money instead it has deducted from my account. Really got tensed after the happening.

                                    The bank should really consider this fact.

                                    And can anybody help me in resolving this issue.

                                    i have account in IOB. 3 months back i tried to withdraw money by my IOB debit card from canara bank ATM, south EX. new delhi. i entered 1000 Rs/- for withdraw, but it shows msg that transaction decliend. i checked my account, there was 1000 rs/- deducted from my account. i approached to iob G.K branch for complain. the manager told me that they can not take any action regarding this issue. i informed to canana bank but they also refused to help and suggeste that money will come in my AC automatically.

                                      I tried to withdraw Rs.500 from Canara Bank ATM located in Borivali(East) near S.T Depot Bus Stop Mumbai ATM at 8:00 pm, on[protected] time but got the message ‘Transaction failed’. But in the mini statement which I got from the SBI ATM shows a Rs 500.00 withdrawal transaction on that date; which is not correct.
