I had aquaguard_NOVA water filter under AMC of Eureka Forbes Ltd.The contract period was 24.07.2004-23.07.2006. On 20.11.2005 I was again approached by the company for AMC and was mislead into another AMC for two years running from 09.12.05 to 07.12.07. I realised the mistake only when on 04.10.06 I purchased R.O. water filter from the same company. Further I noticed that the second AMC was bearing different serial No.and different model.On explaining this to sales executive, he assured me to get me the refund of AMC amount of Rs.1750.00 charged wrongly. I asked him to adjust the amount in cost of the new filter to which he replied that this issue has to be dealt seperately. Afterwards I was told by the same executive that company has refused to refund the amount, rather it can be adjusted towards AMC of the new machine, when due. I approached the company again after expiry of the warranty of new filter but they refused to adjust the amount .So far I have written to the company's office at Nirala nagar, Lucknow on 29.09.2006; main office in Lucknow on 26.06.2007 and to Their head office at Bangalore on 03.12.2007 without any response from them. I and my husband are working people and do not find time to approach CONSUMER FORUM. Now that we have subscribed to net and we have found your site, we are approaching you for justice. It is not matter of money but the "we care a damn ' approach of the multinationals. They need to be desciplined.
