The Consumer Complaint Redressal Forum is a Government organisation with semi judicial power. You can argue your case in Consumer Court yourselves. No lawyer or stamp is required. The Consumer Forum fee is only Rs.100/- payable in draft. The consumer forum is sympathetic to consumers and will impose penalty on the company which payable to the consumer. If the company does not pay the penalty then consumer forum has authority to issue arrest warrant against company chief executive.
