2 NOS OF BLASTS HAPPENED IN THE FABER KITCHEN HOBB IN THE PERIOD OF 10 DAYS.
Date of Purchase 26-6-09, Dealers name Kitch- in-World, Model no. of Hobb is FUSION 46555P, serial no. [protected].
The first blast happened on 5-5-11, after which the first complaint was lodged with the dealer and we came to know that the dealer has shut down his operations and he is no more dealing with the faber hetakraft products and given the contact no. of Mr. Sachin who is sales executive of Faber Haetkraft Distributor situated in Okhla. After that when we contacted the distributor at the given no. the distributor further given the no. of some local service personnel who does not seems to be authorized to carry out the service of the hobb, and then the complaint was attended on 11-5-11, and the service personnel assured that the complaint has been attended, repaired the hobb and there should not be any problem in the future. TO our shock and dismay the another blast happened on 14-5-11 and the complainant was busy cooking for the family when the incident happened and there was blaze coming underneath the hobb and kitchen cabinatry and the complainant Mrs. Anita Bhayana suffered burns on the feets and legs, the salwar kameez and duppatta she was wearing caught fire and she screamed for help and she was lucky that other family members came to rescue her from the flames, and some how switch off the LPG supply, other wise god would have known the consequences. the complainant Mrs. Anita Bhayana was immediately taken to the doctor as she suffered burns on her legs and feets and was lucky enough that she was safe.
Further being the family member I would like to ask that is the company is not bothered about such incidents after the sales of there products, is company is not liable to provide some trained and authorized service personnel to attend to the complaints of such nature where the highly flameable dangerous product like LPG is involved, and what is the reassurance of the fact that the same thing does not happened again.
Further I would like to add that the company like FABER HEATKRAFT and its products should not be used by the consumers and should be banned from the INDIAN market with the immediate effects and the strict action should be taken against the complaint of this nature, as this is the matter of deep concern and life of the people, using FABER products.

Faber — No response, no service
My Faber electric chimney needs cleaning, and I registered a complaint 2 weeks ago, on 10th Feb to the Faber customer care number[protected]. They said they will send my complaint to service centre and somebody will attend to my complaint. Nobody came. I have been calling 2-3 times every week, and EVERYTIME THE SAME ANSWER - "we're sending an email to the service centre" - where the bloody hell are those emails going??I called the Bangalore (Ulsoor) service centre two times - on 23 Feb, they promised me somebody "WILL DEFINITELY COME TOMORROW MORNING" - as usual nobody has turned up!!
FABER IS A FRAUD COMPANY AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE BUSINESS FOR CAUSING INCONVENIENCE TO PEOPLE WHO OWN THEIR PRODUCTS!
