[Resolved]  Hathway — Set Top Box not working. No response from HATHWAY

Hathway sucks !!!!

Its one of the worst service provider on earth.

The box has not been working for almost 3 months now. Contacted the concerned Hathway people. They assure me of immediate help. But they never did that.
I am very dissapointed. Please help. I wish if someone could file complaint against this DIRTY organisation for there DIRTY job.

We hathway JMD Sherawali Cable & Datacom Pvt. ltd., 11/335-A, souterganj, Kanpur provide your connection to our staffs. In which one of mobile no-[protected] is provide to mr. Sajeewan Lal Verma.

in the billing of above phone no. Rs. 99.00 as call filter charges and Rs. 179.00 as downloading are included from 3 months.we are complain to your local executive from 3 months. but the complain is not solved. we request to you please credit the 3 months charges from the bill otherwise we can take the action accordingly.

I had hathway cable connection for 3 years with set of box.A deposit of Rs 1000/- was collected from me w/o any receipt for the set of box.Since I have now installed Tatasky, I surrendered the set box during Feb 2008 to my dealer and till today I have not received the refund amount.Since there is no paper transactions I am not able to give you any references.With my name and e-mail ID you can check at your end the current status on my refund, The service and customer care by your agents in Chennai is very poor

Hope you will look into the matter and advise me further action

i hate hathway connection too...every other day there is some sorta technical glitch...and worst part of all it doesnt give a language changing option in channels like ESPN...i end up watching the euro cup in hindi commentary...which sucks big time too...

Hathway Internet Cables — Hathway is worst service provider in the whole world..

i m using the connection from hathway datacom pvt ltd. baroda.. first of all i had bad experience with the so called hathway company about the LOOSE CONNECTION.. last week i renewed my account and very intresting they dint forget to take MONEY from me but they forget their committements and the relation with costumers. when i paid them, very next day till today the net connection is not working. when i call them no one is response to answer. they give the answer like OUR ALL ENGINEERS LEFT HATHWAY COMPANY SO WE ARE IN SERCH OF NEW TECHNICAL ENGINEERS AND AFTER THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE OK..
no responsible person pick up their phone like MR. DARSHAN (technical manager) . they think that CUSTOMER IS DEPENDANT ON HATHWAY ONLY. they dont think that customer are valuable for the company.
such a big fraud they are doing with the customers...

i just took hathway connection and now i am happy with this connection than youtele com the previous one. i am usin 128 kbps plan i registered on[protected] in kukatpally hyd. i got connection with in 2 days and i am happy till now if did u experience the same thing in the starting
We are the users of Hathway cable since almost from the starting in Delhi. Recently we are facing many problems like apart from our set of box there are some free to air channels mainly we concern about TV 9 (Telugu Channel which is very popular in Telugu News covrering channgel) are not broadcosting. If we ask hathway they says it is not their baby and ask to local cable operators. If we ask they say it is with the hathway issue we can not rectify it. What really we want to request you that by spending this much money on TV pay channels if we will pay another small amount for this channel it wont be any borden to us. I think you will take care and feed this channel in to the setoff box so that we in Delhi around 40, 000 families will enjoy and keep update the news of our Andhra Pradesh. I hope you will take care of my this mail and help us and reply us. Your early action in this regard is highly appreciated.

Hathway / Broad Band — Complaint on internet services failure.

The subject complaint was logged on 11/9/08 (complaint no.: 1862033, to Mr. Prakash) and I was assured visit of your service personnel on the same day by Mr. Prakash. Now, it is almost past 2 days and none of your representative have visited, neither they have called up. Meanwhile, I've followed up 3 times on your helpline no. and every time I've got false promises. Please suggest next step I should take or if I can have the contact no of senior authority in this organisation.

I have an internet connection from Hathway at 40A/1 Shop No. 1 Ashok Nagar, P.O.Tilak Nagar, New Delhi-110018. My user id is gaurav_shivi. This is used in a Cyber Cafe. I have many complaints against poor download speed or poor browsing speed but in vain. They ignored all my complaints. I am very upset what can i do. Please help me to sort out my problum. I have one compensation of ten days of last month bcause i have faced this problum in last month. But from last week i faced the same problum. My internet speed is very poor or very worst. Please give me again seven days compensation or improve hathway's browsing speed or download speed because i am suffering again from seven days as speed is very slow and i am unable to attend my customers. I hope you will help me to sort out this problum. I will be very thankful to you.

Hathway — some channels suddenly missing

Sir,
why in some areas your providing God tv and some areas you are not? NANDAMBAKKAM area is not getting God tv all of a sudden for the past one month. Please kook into the matter.

hi am a customer from choolaimedu in chennai
i gave my box for service .its been nearly a month or more still i never got it back i contacted hathway people many times. Everytime they say that they ll give it the next day but never turned back .when i spoke to a hathway person last he gave lame reason that they had only 1 service engg and he too is fallen sick, this is worse then a response from a kindergarten kid and he was asking me to pay for another box and buy it worse way to treat a customer. i wanted to contact the higher official but never got any mail address in their site i dont knoe where customers would raise there complaint when you cant contact them.this is a worse service in both, the product service and customer care .

Hathway — VERY SLOW SPEED AND POOR CONSUMER SERVICE

I had taken Hathway broadband service recently by paying Rs. 450/- for 128kpbs speed and unlimited download, but the speed is far less than 128kbps and when i download any file the speed is less than 10kbps and when I use Download accelerator the speed is around 12-15kbps.Even after complaining to the customer service again and again no action has been taken.I am sick of this service but since i ve paid Rs. 450 in advance(It's a prepaid service and I cant do anything but cry!) I ve to use it.It is for this reason I guess these people from Hathway are so careless about consumer complaints and service.I need a strict action to be taken against the company because this is not the first complaint against them, they have a very bad track record since the beginning.Please help me!

I have paid for a 1MBPS 4 month line, instead hathway gave me 128 Kbps 1 month line, I need the 1 mbps line to check my official mails and act acc. But then 128 kbps is worthless, a word doc takes ages to download with a speed of 4kbps!!

I have complained 5 times since Saturday ( 29th Nov), the hathway helpline[protected] ppl say they will process it through mumbai and get it done within 4 hrs. But no processing has taken place. I am still wondering why did i apply for hathway, ppl curse the company to be non helpful to customers .
I have been duped into a wrong connection, i paid way more than what was required. I paid for a 1mbps line. Got nothing in return, when i talk to refund they say 1 month time for refund, when the sales person had to give connection he was begging for cash . Now 1 month to refund that cash . please suggest what to do ??

Should i file a police complaint against the company and the agent ??
