    I Have halthway connection in Koramangala Bangalore from 'Hathway Krishna Cables Pvt Ltd' Service Tax Reg No CBL/BG-1/02/HATHWAY/2002 Dated[protected].

    I have complained to them that my cable is not getting signal. Its has been more that 1 week that i have been calling them and they keep saying that somebody will come.

    Firstly they take monthly service Advance for this pathetic cable, then they don't listen to the complains!

    I guess these guys don't know that this is a recession period where its hard to get new customers and easy to loose customer to Big players like TataSky, DishTV, BigTV or Airtel's DigitalTV.

    If Know action is taken, i will be more than happy to switch to Big Players.
    I won't mind paying more for service than paying for crap.

    I would agree with you. Hathway cable is a pathetic service provider and their customer service center is never reachable. I hope somebody takes action on them for harassing their customers like this.
    Yes, we do fully agree the very poor service provided by them. We pay annual subscription and this time for the past three months no proper signal is being recd and gets disconnected every ten minutes. Many a time complaint made over phone, personal visit. They promise it will be attended to, but the man who comes claim that the cable need to be changed and on receipt of cable they would do that. Approaching senior members or managers is next to impossible, as they seldom attend to the call or available in the office.

    Hence I plan to approach the Consumer Forum very soon, to claim damages and refund of the subscription.

    Yes, we fully endorse the views. The service is very poor. Inspite of paying yearly/half yearly subscription, for the past three months the tv gets disconnected every ten/fifteen minutes. Complaints over telephone/ personal visit did not yield the result. Service man will come and tell the cable need to be changed and that is it. They say no stock but we notice the service men carrying cables for new connection. Reaching the Manager / in.charge is just impossible, as always call goes unanswered as also the massages. Planning to take it up with the Consumer Forum to claim damages for the mental agony and refund of the subscription paid, think this is the only way to get justice from being cheated.

      I am travelling by IC 169 to Raipur, flight was supposed to take off at 10.25 am. However now at 10:45 am there is still no news of the flight. This is after delay of 45 mins for security check and 1 hour of waiting for boarding pass. This is really pathetic service by the airport ground staff and by Indian airlines. Beats the whole purpose of taking a flight to catch an important meeting. There is not even any announcement about the flight or reason for delay. Would advise all to think 100 times before booking tickets on Indian Airlines.

          Dear Sir,

          my Account no. 76688 in the name of M/s. Downtown Graphics (India) Pvt. Ltd.
          I am using your hathway internet Service from past 3 - 4 years right from the day it has started the internet service.

          I have few complains against hathway. I would like you to reply for my complains in writting.

          1) Hathway has worse call centre helpdesk service. Person answering the call does not
          how to talk with clients. they not only rude, they bang the phone. and we keep on calling and our tellephone bills goes up.

          2) Secondly Complains taken is never, never means never in past 3-4 years taken in 1 time, if taken never rectified in 1 time.

          3) Thirdly, we customers are helpless, as we are not provided with any nos. of seniors, higher level officer of the co. with whom we can talk and put up with our complains.

          4) fourthly, even if your help gives us the complain no., no action is taken, the complain is closed but never ever take trouble to inquire with the client if their complain is solved or they are still facing the problem. And we customers keep on waitting that the
          complain is given u must be working on that.

          5) In the starting we had taken plan "Freeway-6"-256 kbps unlimited download with some amount of Rs.932/- approx per month. which was without any inquiry renewed every six months, paid advance always. never checked that the rates for same plan was reduced. that plan was closed and it was named "New Freeway Flexi" - 256 kbps - Rs.2000/- for 3month. which comes to Rs.666/- approx per month. So we were cheated here with over charging. I would like to ask if the rates
          would have increased would you not have send me a letter for that, so why if the rates were reduced you dint pass on the benifits to your old customers. and so you cheated your old customers blind fate on you.

          6) when this matter was put up with your accounts department while renual of hathway connection he had no answer, when no explanations worked, the person dint fail to call me a deaf and insulted me. when he was asked for higher authorities nos. to make complain. he banged the phone.On calling the same no. he use to pick-up, and bang the phone on knowing its me again.

          7) Then after due date it was renewed, i shifted to "New Freeway Flexi" - 256 kbps - Rs.2000/- for 3month. i paid for Rs.5002/- it was a calculation made by you. the break up was like this explain 2 me by your account department.my plan got over on 31st october.
          Rs.507.60 - for 20 days on pro rata basis as per old plan amount. (this was explain 2 me) as the plan was not changed on the due date and u would charge me as per old plan. Balance 10 days was given grace as in oct. my net was not working for 10days, so it was 10days
          after the plan got over. Rs.4, 494.40- for 6 months inclusive of 12.36 % tax, starting from 01st Dec.2008 to 31st may 2009.
          The chq. of rs.5002/- was issued to you against Receipt no.162863 dtd.[protected] and your person collected from my office. Now you are sending me the sms / mails for some outstanding balance of Rs.347.17 I dont understand this.

          8) this is my last problem with hathway. I am paying the amount for the speed of 256 kbps. where my speed is very very less. from past 3 months, at regular inteval i am making complain for the same. your engineers checked the problem and they agreed that my net is not working as per 256 kbps. the speed is very very low.
          This problem will be solved in few days.. as some work going on in the area. but till date nothing has been done. If you cant provide me 256 kbps speed. atleast dont charge me for that plan. you have taken full amount in advance that does not mean you can fool customers. Now i am tired of Hathway broadband Internet.

          This is my request 2 refund me my post paid amount. whatever is balance. I dont want your connection. I will go for some other service provider, who can give me better service and dont cheat me like what you do.

          please reply to this email immediately within 7 working days or i will be force to take legal action against you.

          I have a similar complaint in Bombay. Beware of Hathway

          Hathway — Hathway has cheated me

          I had paid Rs. 618 to Hathway on 3-May-2008 for providing me internet services. Hathway did not contact me after that. So, I used to call them up daily to their helpline. They said they will call back with an hour, no call...

          After 12 days, they tell me its not feasible. So, I ask them to return back my money.

          Till date, they have not returned my money. They have cheated me.

          Do not go for Hathway in Bangalore.
          Hi All,
          My self Bishnu, hathway ac no : 527516. Recently my PC got damaged ( mother board, RAM and Processor) very strangely. On that day I was not present at home and the main power supply is disconnected. I have found the modem as well as my CPU is brunt. I have verified every possibilities for power supply. Finlay come in to the conclusion that this is happen due to the hathway internet connection. Power passed through the wire and burnt my system.

          Strangely my SMPS, UPS and SPIKE is working fine, I have reported this. But nothing happened. Finlay they said system damaged from your side. We are not responsible for it. You have to repair your system.

          If anybody have same kind of information kindly intimate, so that we can track and report in consumer court.
          I have also similar problem with hathway

          Worst Service even seen, for evey connection down taking 1 to 2 days.

          A/C # 1277256. (SR#[protected] ...no one is attended as of now. If any is one is working for client deliverable...then strongly feels one should n't use hathway services,

            I am having a similar problem with Hathway and am not able to get through to them. If you had managed to reach them in blore, kindly pass on the number.
            I strongly agree with you, My experience is even worse. I kept complaining to the guy who come for cable bill collection for nearly 2 months for not able to watch with set-top box but the regular TV(I get both, I asked while installing to do like that; by connecting directly to the TV and the other to set-top box) and promised me to send a person for service, but not. I refused to pay the bill and asked them to take the set-top box back and pay me the advance amount of 1500, they have charged me earlier. He refused and saying, it is worth of 600 only(the new one), since I have used it for couple of days, he is going to charge for the same(that would be 600-some amount-rental), as if I am doing the second hand business.

            Around 4 people have come to my place today and saying, they do not take care of any issues with the set-top box, only the regular cable connection. His name is Antony Raj(Cable provider) at my place, Doraisani Palya, Bannerghatta Road.

            I wanted to sue them. Looking for the possibilities.

            I Mohammed Faizan hussain a customer of your hathway communication im residing in hyderabad (india). I m using a T.V connection more than 10 years. im facing a lot of problem in connection inspite of having a setup box i m unable to see channels there is a lots of disturbance when i spoke to the technician he said there is a problem in amplifier which he cant fix the problem.even though i have given so many complaint in masab tank branch office in hyderabad there was no proper response. even though i spoke to the supervisor of masab tank branch (hyderabad).most of the people are not receiving the channels in masab tank.i m not satisfied with there work, The complaint was issued in the month of august as the work was not yet done properly, as here there are many unskilled techincians are working in your hathway, i suggest u to give training to the techincians regarding there job. there are so many channels like zee tv, star news, national geography, 9x, sab tv, channel v, discovery etc..usually we watch this channels and we are unable to see channels.
            I request you to look at this matter seriously.

              I have received a bill from Hathway Broadband Internet Services informing me that my Internet Subsription was due to expire on 2 February 2009 if payment is not made in time. The bill is dated 28th January 2009 and was delivered by the couriers on Friday, 30th January 2009 in the afternoon. The next day was Saturday followed by Sunday. When I called up the customer service on 2nd Feb. at 10.30 am wherein I was attended to by a male voice. I checked as to why should my connection be severed without even 15 days notice, he rudely hung up on me. I called up again this time to be attended by a female voice (10.38 am) when I requested I speak to their manager, she once again rudely hung up. The third time I called no one picks up the line for nearly 5-10 minutes. I need to know as to why is the billing so late - just 3-4 days before the subscription expires. Why is there no enough time given for payment, why should the subscription be ended abruptly without giving the customer enough time to make payment, especially if there is a sunday in between. AND ABOVE ALL IS THIS SOME KIND OF TRAINED BEHAVIOUR THAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSONNEL RUDELY HANG UP ON THE CUSTOMER IF THEY CANNOT HANDLE A QUERY. SINCE BOTH PERSONNEL DID THE SAME THING, I PRESUME IT IS EXPECTED COMPANY BEHAVIOUR. Could I Request a claification please? Could you adivse as to where should I take my complaint for rude personnel behaviour?

                The Hathway doesnt maintain any company profile and reaction to the request is very poor. I asked for the shifting from sastri Nagar to Besant nagar due to relocation. It's more than a week and inspite of repeated calls, No one has responded.

                The compnay portal doesnt display any of the e.mail id's for complaint. I would request new buyers to shy away from HATH way .. it's a HELL WAY.

                  I am Sanjay, and I got hathway set-top box for cable. We are not getting CNBC TV18 and CNN IBN channels for past 10 days in BTM 1st stage, Bangalore. I have complained to my agent and there is no response from them. Even I tried to call Hathway phone numbers which are published in their website www.hathway.com. It says invalid numbers (+[protected]/680).

                  I dont know whether there is anybody at hathway, listening to customer complaints. We pay so much money and donot even bother to respond to the complaints.

                  Hathway — Not getting channels for past 10 days

                  Hi,

                  I am Sanjay, and I got hathway set-top box for cable. We are not getting CNBC TV18 and CNN IBN channels for past 10 days in BTM 1st stage, Bangalore. I have complained to my agent and there is no response from them. Even I tried to call Hathway phone numbers which are published in their website www.hathway.com.                   I dont know whether there is anybody at hathway, listening to customer complaints. We pay so much money and they don't even bother to respond to the complaints.
                  We are also in Bangalore and having the same problem. Have you got any response?
                  We're in Bangalore too. This morning (23rd Feb. 2009) they are telecasting the Oscars on Star Movies and can you imagine.. Star Movies doesn't come in my Hathway card. Their helpline number displayed int the card menu[protected] that nobody is picking up (may be because of the time I'm calling, 6 in the morning) and their corporate office (shree complex) numbers are all invalid. It's a pity.

                  Someone has to do something about this somewhere. :-)
                  I recently moved to BTM 2nd stage. Local cable operator informed that there is no hathway setup box in btm 2nd stage. Can anyone tell me where i can get the cable operator info for hathway setup box.

                  We are also not getting Kids channels Disney Disney XD. Our cable operator Chetan Cable Net Work, Doddabommasandra, Vidyarayanpura not responding properly for the above. We taking Hathway set up Box 230 channels package through him only.. But their Channels List they are showing No. 410 is Disney and No. 411 is Disney XD. Hathway Customer care centre also not replying at all.

                  I am Krishnan staying in KALYAN NAGAR, Bangalore. For past 10-12 days several channels have been discontinued, like the entire Star package, plus regional channels like Asianet, etc. When I contacted them about 10 days ago they said they were having payment problems with these channels and it would be sorted out and all channels would be resumed in a couple of days time. But even after 2 weeks they remain blank. Today I tried contacting them, but would you believe it? none of the numbers were answering. Even their customer care nodal officer Mr.Sashi Kumar has switched off his phone, so is the case with the local franchisee Mr.Naidu. Hathway customer service is the worst among all cable operators. You should try companies like Airtel who give more importance to customer satisfaction. But the word customer satisfaction is absent in Hathway's vocabulary. Their local operator has admitted to me that they do not man their office after 6 PM and any complaint after 6 PM will not be attended, even though they are boasting of 24x7 customer care service!!

                  Hathway's Digital Cable Television service is awefully bad. In Kasturi Nagar, there is a Local Cable Operator by name, R.J. Sri Cable Networks. This Local Cable Operator provides very very bad service. The video quality is extremely bad. Its very bad for the eyes to view such a bad video content. There is one Mr. Kajappa who runs this LCO's network. This Kajappa is a rogue. He will use arm twisting tactics to get money from you. He will cut the service to get money for bad service. This guy cuts off many of the channels in his signal. Hathway says that this LCO is a franchisee and, as a franchisor, Hathway has no control over RJ Sri Cable Networks and Kajappa. What can be a more pitiable statement from an MSO? Also, if there is no power in some other area or building, you will not get TV service. This is a new concept in Kasturi Nagar.

                  Furthermore, Hathway and ACT have a very good understanding. Each will not encroach the other's area. This way, there is no competition between Hathway and ACT.

                  If anyone is residing in Kasturi Nagar, I would request them to not depend upon R.J. Sri Cable Networks. Instead, they can depend upon any of the DTH operators like Tata Sky or AirTel, etc.

                      please don't take Hathway Internet Broadband connection this is my personnel experience i took connection for one month with 128kbps for unlimited 6months back after one month i said to hathway people to disconnect till now they did disconnect and they r telling to pay the bill till now and they r telling our people will come and collect the money anyway what should i do

                        We applied for Hathway connection on 06.01.06 my account no is 86046, user M/s Samruddhi Enterprises
                        we lodge complaints regarding their serivce, following are the complaints no 312039, 314071, 315839, 319727 etc,

                        finally we disconnected the conncetion, they took back their setupbox on 13.06.07, we mailed them, snd letter, faxed them tried every way possible stil we havnt received our deposit money back

                        we tried contacting them several times. they alwys says we will receive the deposit money of Rs1000/- in 15 days, still we havnt received our deposit money,

                        pls help us in getting our refund back

                        Even I am facing the same issue.

                        I have lodged a complaint for Internet Connection error from 3 months, but I havent yet recieved any reply from them.
                        Finally I decided to disconnect the service and return back their modem.
                        However, even after writing several mails to "[protected]@hathway.net", I didn't recieve any reply.

                        The Customer Service is the worst.


                        PS: Please think twice before buying this connection.

                        Its better to bang you mind before buying the service rather than banging head after buying the service.

                          I have been using my hathway set top box from past 10 months . I got it installed from my cable operator Rose Rise Cable but suddenly on new year's eve the following channels were disconnected -:
                          1. Star Sports
                          2. ESPN
                          3. Star Cricket
                          4. Zee Cafe
                          5. Zee Studio
                          6. Zee News
                          7. Sahara

                          I have been registering complaints with them from for past 2 days but all they say is that there is some technical fault with these channels and these channels are working only in South Delhi.

                            I would like to bring in every one notice, that how Hathway Broadband, Baroda has cheated me.

                            I applied for connection on 3rd december 2008, and made payment of Rs. 1854/- for six month in advance which was asked to do so. Was promised to get connection in 5 days time, but till yet after almost 13 days they have not reverted back.

                            Today Nodal officers refused to give connection and for refund of my money.

                            Can anyone guide me the way to get justice and action against these cheaters.

                            I wrote below mail to their appellate authority but no reply from their side.

                            Response of Baroda Team is Pathetic, they don't even talk with courtesy, every time they say it will take another 2 days, but still nothing has happended.When i tried to contact Nodal Officer, they refused to give my call to nodal officer.

                            I am asking, then what the use of making nodal officers if customer is not being attended, just in shake of TRIA regulation, and why you people charge service tax, if non of your staff doesn't know about service, they know only making excuses and to play blame-game.

                            My point is that whatever reason is for delaying in connection you should have not misguide customer, should have informed me that it will take more than 10 days, at that time i would have decide whether i have to take connection or not, as it was needed urgently for my official work.I would have decided to look after any another provider who can give connection faster. But Hathway have cheated me by saying, i will get connection in 3-4 days.

                            Sir, Please don't consider customer as taken for granted.

                            Please inform me what caused Hathway Baroda Team to delay connection and by when i will get connection.

                              THE MATTER POSTED HERE HAS BEEN SENT TO "HATHWAY BROADBANDS" BY E-MAIL DT: 03.12.2008 BUT THERE IS NO REPLY FORM THEIR SIDE, MY COMPLAINTS WERE AS BELOW...

                              From very beginning till today I am regularly facing service problem such as low speed other than offered as well as everyday frequent disconnecting fluctuations (which are not even complained), and at every interval of 1-2 days have to rectify remotely for modification in configurations which are altered automatically & displayed by various errors. Many times I have experienced poor and tired, weary language of customers care representatives as they may be dealing with several problem all the time with most of the complains from subscribers.

                              It has been noticed that, to attract more subscribers and grow up customer network Hathway announces and launches new upgraded plans for new customers with faster browsing speed in same tariff for what we are paying since long back for that old and poor browsing speed. Hathway management has no objective or anxiety to upgrade former customer and their sluggish services with faster & improved plans. It’s a simple logic that a month before I paid the renewal tariff Rs. 4500.00 for Combo12Mnt96D-256N Plan, for which new customers also pays same tariff Rs. 4500.00 and enjoy faster speed than us in upgraded plan called Combo12Mnt150D-300N. I called up and asked Hathway executive (Mr. Sunil Mali, Dt: 24.11.2008) to upgrade my plan to obtain faster browsing speed, for which initially I experienced his tired & weary language, secondly his attitude was to end up the issue, so in all hurry this non-corporate executive clarified with immature example that while rise & fall in price of Consumer Products (exampling Cooking Oil Container) no customer have arguments with shop keeper if they buy’s the product at high price yesterday and gets same product today at low price. We understand very well that even uneducated person will also have no complain with price rise-fall in consumer products, but I have sympathy on unawareness of your so called educated executive Mr. Sunil Mali that he is not Consumer Retailing or FMCG Co’s employee and Hathway is not an Shopping Mall or Consumer Store selling the Products, but it’s an “Service Provider Company” and dealing with services, wherein this type of non-professional arguments or logics have no stands, and in same hurry Mr. Sunil Mali hooked up the call with no-responsible attitude and short reply, that his marketing executive will visit us and shall explain for upgradation, but till today no one has stepped in which shows complain & follow up avoiding behavior of concerned employee.

                              Hathway’s “Customer Care Department” can be simply designated as “Complain Department” like rural management other than named as “Customer Care” like corporate style, because reason is that, the employee’s of this department are non professional in their Conversation, Attitude & Language Tone with bureaucratic behavior comparing with other Customer Care Desk of Corporate Companies. There are many unreported issues with us during complain logging, but I can put on attention about latest issue happened with me on 03.12.2003 (between 11.16 to 11.30 AM). During complaining process on login problem, related Officer’s problem resolving statement was non-logical and when, argueing with him logically, he simply disconnected the phone line as he was not in position to argue further or may be tired with this job. I was frustrated with this phone hanging up behavior, so to inspect that person’s name; I once again called up on this so called “Customer Care Department” where my call was attended by Mr.Kalpesh Prajapati (who was not that previous undisciplined fellow). I talked with him on the issue and asked him to name that fellow who talked with me a couple of minute before, but on asking his colleagues against my enquiry (which can be clearly heard on phone) none of them among 08 executive of Customer Desk answered him truly and said there was no call from any such customer, and no one took responsibilities of this misbehavior, which shows that, the fellow among 08 executives who created issue with me was incapable to face his miss attitude and neglected the query. I have experience this type of episode many times before also as well as other customers also may be facing the same problems, but due to time consuming, ignoring nature and as always your side taking behavior on behalf of offender’s guilt, may be this type of issues & complain are not reported . We can only appreciate the best and loyal part of your executives services that, after issues with them if we ask them to name their senior’s or HOD’s or can give their contact info, so we can put our complains ahead if it’s beyond their reach, they always refuse to give name or contact info of the concerns, which is suspicious matter that, is there any one ruling over their head’s or this Surat division is remotely operated?

Fro there reply i have simple anwer i have brand new intel and mainborad motherboard. with xp with service pack 3 install in it now i dont know what they require more .Please quide us what to do how to get my money refund.

                                This is sriram reddy from Hyderabad. I've sent the account close mail on Sunday, 29 June, 2008 6:36 AM.

                                One of their customer service rep told me to do like this when I contacted them.

                                I've removed the cable from my computer after 2 days and applied for Reliance. After 2 to 3 days, I've again contacted them and asked why they didn't close my account. The customer service rep told that she is going to update the complaint. I asked for the complaint number.

                                Complaint number: 1593930

                                On December 13, 2008, again I got an sms from them to my mobile, saying my bill amount due is Rs.4385.75.

                                This is so frustrating. I asked them to close the account and filed a complaint to close it 5 months ago. Still I'm getting the bills. Why should I pay for which I didn't use...

                                Pls look into this issue...

                                  I am Bidisha Chakraborty, currently residing in Sindhi Colony, Hyderabad. I am working with Satyam Computer Services Ltd.

                                  This is to bring to your notice an incident that happened to me.

                                  I had applied for a Quarterly plan for hathway Broadband Internet connection (128 KBPS, Unlimited UL/DL per Month) for an amount of Rs.1123 on the 7th of November 2008. Generally installation is done the very next day. I know this because I have previously been an user of Hathway's Broadband Services in Hyderabad itself, when I was residing in Madhapur Area. But this time even after 11 days they haven't done the installation at my residence yet.

                                  I chased them like hell. Gave them numerous calls and lodged several complaints as well. I tried to contact many people fro their office but nobody responded. I also went personally to their corporate office to lodge a complaint on the 15th of November 2008, and to retrieve my money back, but they refused to refund my money and promised that the installation would be done the same day and if not he personally guaranteed to refund my money.

                                  After all this hassel they laid the cable and delivered the modem but they did not do the configuration as a result of which we are not able to access the services even after repeated calls and complaints.

                                  Today I called up the guy who came to lay the cable and deliver the modem but he bluntly refused to come down to do the configuration. I also tried to call up the service incharge but even he is always out of reach.

                                  On their words I have also purchased a wireless router worth Rs.1600. I am really tired of chasing them. I do not wish to subscribe to their services any more and want them to refund my money.


                                  Please look into the matter and do the needful.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I have taken a broadband connection at Hyderabad(A.P.)from above company on 1st Set 2008 and my consumer no. is 354798. I paid Rs1124/- for a period of four months.
                                    Right from the day of installation the internet connection is not working properly and so far i made four complaints to their customer service no. apart from sneding mail with detailed complaint. Till date they have not corrected the problem or send any service personnel to check/correct the problem. The latest complaint no. registered today is 2110643 . Every time they are promising that the problem will be resolved in 24hrs but nothing happened till date.

                                    I am suffering a lot due to this as i could neither go for an alternate connection nor use this existing one.

                                    the connectivity of internet remains down most of the times.
                                    when i complaint to the company it started within no times. i understand that they have lesser lines then they have given internet connections. for example they are having 50 lines in our area and given connection to more than 50 people say 75. my time and energy is being wasted. i paid to them Rs.500 for one month but it cost me more than 700-800 as i have to spent 200-300 per month over my mobile phone for complaint. who will bear the cost of mobile bill. and who will compensate me for inconvenience. please me give exclusive IP number and 24 hours 7 days in a week 30 days in a month internet line for which i have been paying to the company otherwise i would go to consumer court for compensation and for black listing of the company. my phone number is [protected]/[protected].
                                    I am a customer of [protected]@y Digital Cable Services in Anandnagar Colony, Khairatabad.Hyderabad-500 004. I gave a complaint on telephone No.[protected] four days ago. No attempt was made to attens to my complaint. My complaint related to non-functioning of the set up box. I got it done through a Communication engineer after waiting for four long days. This is a clear case of deficiency of service infracting the provisions of the Consumer protection act. I request that suitable punitive action may be taken against the field staff for ignoring my genuine complaint about the deficiency and intimate the result to me.

                                      i want to suggest all the internet users that instead of going for hathway internet connection, its better to go to cyber nets or activate GPRS on your mobile. its the bullock cart in car race. they promise to give a speed but later they are not able to provide the half of the promised speed. and thy are not able to solveany technical problems simply thy lie that one of their technical person will call and solve the problem. this company should be sued.

Everytime I change my home i pay coneection chg between rs.300 to 400 to my operator.                                         Same Problem here in Borivali East area... i am a working in a company..and only get sundays to watch the TV but the reception is too poor and below par... even most of the Sports channel are not their... Really ed up with the services of hathway cable and as well as their INTERNET... it is ridiculus...
                                        I am fed up with lodging innumerable complaints against Exotic Cable, Kishangarh, who is the local service provider of HATHWAY CABLE, AB-8, Second Floor, Safdarjung Enclave, Near Kamal Cinema, New Delhi - 110 029 Ph: [protected]. I have asked them to disconnect the cable service at my place, but neither they are providing me service not they are disconnecting the cable TV. They have refused to pay back me the security deposit that I had given to them at the time of subscribing through them, which is nothing but harassment. Further thte local service provider i.e. Exotic cable (Mr. Mishra), Kishnagarh, Vasant Kunj is charging Rs. 6 per channel, which is higher than the TRAI charges of Rs. 5 / 5.35 per channel. The Exotic cable is not giving me the proper bill receipt after collecting the monthly subscription charges as well. Hence as a last resort, I am left with no choice but to refer the matter to you for the redressal of my grievance. An early action would be appreciated.

                                        I am a resident of Prem Vishnu CHS at Mulund East, Chapekhar Bandhu Marg. We a working couple with a school going kid - the cable oeprator who operates in this building has suddenly disconnected the connection and claims that he had visited our home 25 times in January 2011 for collection & nobody was there - though today only 18 days have passed in the new year - last year Feb I had paid for the entire year - but basic courtesy demands that he call us up - This is the most disgusting thing to happen and they claim that they cannot visit on Saturday/Sunday when we are at home - pls. note I am seriously thinking of discontinuing

                                        I have taken postpaid plans with hatyway and paid 3600 rs for 6 month plan. plan is 512kbps from 9PM to 9AM. But from day one internet is working very slow. I have registered so may complaint with customer care, but they either dont pickup call and if they pickup, they never take any steps. some of the complaints are listed below with date.

                                        please let me know what steps i can take to sue them.

                                        Hathway TV Cable — Bad service from Hathway

                                        I am a hathway kothrud cable customer. our service is blocked from 3 days. I had complaint n number of times with no responce. I asked them to send someone to check. There was no response/call/visit from Hathway. I will NOT RECOMMEND anyone for Hathway Cable.
                                        I am HD subscriber at Kandivali East area. The LCO is Sai Star Cable with Hathway. The service is really very bad. I have pain in full for all HD channels and now they have blocked 3 HD channels. They are asking for extra money for these channels although they have taken payment for all channels.

                                        Customer service is worst. There quality and response is worst. They threaten you on the call and do not listen to you. I went to Nodal officer as well who is talking from Sai Star and Hathway side and no different from them.

                                        Hope less people. I get the clear message to go to other service providers for Cable as well for Internet. This is the cost I pay for being their customer for 10 years and paying everything ontime.

They have stop certain channels not informing me, insist they said you have not submitted the form., but I already done it 2 days before. Hathway Customer care guys tell they have not received any form, but I said I have submitted to our local cable operator. They have give me a silly n foolish answer co-ordinate with your local cable operator.

                                        Myself Shivaranjan Madiwaalr From Belgaum, Karnataka State. I Am using Hathway cable service from last 5 months.The service was good and service providers giving good service. Reason for this complaint is that from beginning only the service providers not telecasting kannada channels. Reason i dont no. If i Asked to them they were telling that today it will come or tomorrow it will come.Every time they were telling this lies.
                                        In Karnataka Kannada is the Administrative language that channels only not coming in this HATHWAY cable network.And from last month some channels were blocked by the service providers.mainly Sun Network Channels.Please take strict reaction on them and provide us all kannada channels shortly. When asked, the reply from Hathway Cable is very vague with no specific reason or resolution date for this issue. All this while monthly rent is still the same.                                         It is the worst service provider ever. I had to run after the local cable guys first to take payment from me and then had to run after them to activate channels. I was a to then assume that if I paid 3 months in advance and tell them to be prompt going forward, I will delay the bother for 3 months but now after a month, again all the channels are blocked and I have calling them for the past 4 days with no effect whatsoever. They have now stopped picking my call. Its like just take away your box, I do not even care for my money.

                                        I too am facing problems with hatchway cable... We have opted for popular plan in Pune, Kothrud and they have blocked some of the channels which fall under this plan. After calling multiple people, each one has a standard answer ' you call so and so person because I am on half day or I am on leave or I am not in office now.' When called on main line, there is another standard answer (only i[censored] are lucky to get through the line).. ' we will send a technician to ur house but nothing happens ; most of the times the line is switched off. Customer service is really really pathetic. They should close down their business completely since they cannot manage.

                                        Why the govt encourage such types of things ididn't understand...in many judgement Supreme court said that don't link AAADHAR for all...

                                        hello i am pradip dhami i am staying at grant road my 2 hathway box. does not show any sony channels e.g. sab tv, sony etc. since last 15 days we have complaint on your hathway cable office at tardev by telephone last monday. 17 august 2015.
                                        they told all sony channels will be starting within 2 days. after 5 days yet any sony channel has not been started.we paid our cable operater full year subscription and they dont give any proper answers.
                                        so i request you to start all sony channel as soon as possible.

                                        hi, i am from dadar, Mumbai. No person has come to collect the payment for tv channels neither i can contact anyone. I had made a payment for 3 months and they said they will adjust but it hasnt been done.Also when called nobody picks up the phone. This is disgusting from your side. No visit nothing. Would really spread a word of not taking this cable at all.
