Hi,

I am an Infosys employee. My company announced that they are about to give employee benefit shares to all o[censored]s. Most o[censored]s choose ICICI bank to open our Demat acocunts , since the bank is located within our office premises itself.

But the bank was very careless and negligent in handling our applications. I submitted the application in proper form to the bank authorities two months in advance to the deadline. BUt i never heard from them for 2 months. whenever i call them they told me that the application is in processing in head office. after month long delay, they called me one day to inform that there is a spelling error in my name. I came ot know that the error was solely becuase of the bank employee who filled my form and not because of me. Moreover he wrote my name entirely worng and because of that my application got struck in the head office.

Then i countersigned the correction and re-sent it, with the promise from the authorities that they will help me get the account in time , so that i can get the shares from my company. But that didnt happen. I made repeated calls and emails to the ICICI staff members in Mysore branch and all that i got was a blank answer and today i dont have my demat account and i have lost the opportunity to get my right to the Infosys shares as an employee of infosys.

I am expect ICICI staff members to repond to my query. But they are totally neglecting my complaint and simply keeping me wait, thinking that i will move away from the issue, if i dont get any positive reply within a specific time frame. But i will not.

I am looking forward to take stern legal action on the bank till they answer my query and come forward to offer proper explanation with compensation for my loss and mental agony.

ICICI Bank — Demat Acc Opening Delay

I am an NRI living abroad. I applied through ICICIBank to open an Demat account when I visited India in Dec 2008. I found ICICI totally inadequately staffed. I went to 3 branches listed in ICICI website offering Demat services. There were no one responsible who could enable the account opening. Finally I submitted my account opening forms in one Branch with all the necessary documentations. It has been more than 1 month and I haven't got any response. When I followed-up recently, there is no trace of my application. I am appalled at their service to say the least.

    My wife is Struggling with the creditcard, for the past 2 years she is paying only minimum due . she requested ICICI bank to convert due in to installements, Bank is not ready to give any EMI option . If customer is ready to clear the balance. Why banks are not allowing customer to repay and not giving EMI option.. ICICI bank should consider the customers who are willing to pay by EMI's

    ICICI Bank — All Payment Due Convert into EMI

    Dear Sir/Mam,

    I have an icici bank credit card from last 10 to 11 month i am trying to convert all my due in to EMI but bank dont want to give me the same facility.

    From last 1 year i paid only Mini payment of my due.

    There is no reply from icici bank. they told me there is no EMI Facility on credit card.

    Now i want to close my credit card at any cost because li have been paid lots of interest of my dues.

    Kindly help me for the same and give me some suggetion for the same.

      Sub: Request for pay money form merchant 'shop owner'.

      Myself, R.Sreedhar rao,cont No: [protected]. holding an HDFC Bank Credit card, CC No: [protected], I did shopping for computers at M/s. Mind Port Technologies dated: 28/08/2010, sum of rupess 49,950/-, but merchant shop owner Mr. Hari say amount not resived from icici bank, need to pay bill amount, I am call to hdfcbank custmer care but he say amount should be realised to icicibank not need to pay merchant 'shop owner', but still Shop owner Mr. Hari cont.no:[protected] and Icici bank employee mr.Prasad Cont.no: [protected] should say to pay bill amount, I am sending attechments copy of Bill and credit card statement. There is not proper response from customer care department.

      if i will not get any justuice in this, i will consult the customer-court for the same.

        Sir/Madam,

        I would like to bring this to the notice of every one that how ICICI Bank harass the cuntomers for fault on the part of bank.

        My son Mr Saurav Baunthiyal had purchased a bike Honda Karizma Regd NoKA-01EF-5722which had partiallybeen finnanced by the ICICI bank and the loan account number is LTBNG[protected]. The amount was requried to be refunded in 16 EMI. Out of 16 EMI, 5 EMI have been paid through on line transfer of money and remainning 11 EMI have been collected by ICICI bank representantive/agent deputed by the bank.

        When my son went to the ICICI Bank Bommanehalli ,Bangalore for collection of NOC of the bike,ICICI bank refused to issue NOC stating that two EMI are outstanding against my son.

        My son have paid all the EMI and he has produced all the ICICI bank receipts to the bank but the bank has refused to issue NOC on the pretext that amount of two EMI have not been deposited by the rep/agent.

        Here I would like to mention that how the bank can accept the 9 receipts of the ICICI bank and how 2 receipts of ICICI bank can not be accepted.The rep/agent was deputed by the bank after due verification and confirming the reliability and the rep/agent was representing the bank by showing his ID issued by the bank and collecting the EMI from gthe customers.

        If the rep/agent has not deposited the 2 EMI in the bank,it is the responsibility of the bank and not customer. Customer has paid the money to the rep/agent and presenting the receipts of ICICI bank but being harassed by the bank for last six months. Here I would like to mention here that ICICI bank is well known for such behavior with the customers.

        May I hope for the justice and penalty to the bank for the harassment for last six months.

                Sir, Icici Bank has deducted illegal amount of Rs.1600/-approx.two times.This is totally illegal. RBI has not given any direction to banks for deduction of particllar amount as QAB charges.It is a MANMANI OF THE BANK. ICICI BANK is a hopeless bank and loosing reputation.                 Sir, Please refer to icici bank mail, it is surprised to note that a request letter to be given to bank for keeping Rs 5000/- as minimum balance. At the time of opening account icici bank agent told me that zero balance could be maintained by demat account holder and this was confirmed by bank through e-mail.I am having docment proof.
                ICICI BANK CAN NOT CHANGE THE RULES FOR EXISTING ACCOUNT HOLDERS. This rule can be applicable to new a/c holders. In any case ICICI BANK should return my money. Sir, this bank is totally cheating the a/c holders. PL. HELP ME. Thanks.

                    With regards it is to bring under the notice of this Forum readers that

                    yesterday I posted my complain regarding Extreme Harassment&Nuisance calls

                    From Icici Bank"the below given complain I posted here yesterday.
                    It is to bring under each & every one's notice notice that, I have been

                    continuously harassed by Mr.Kulkarni from ICICI Bank Credit card collections

                    department.He has been regularly harassing me for the Third Party Credit Card

                    collection.He has been calling on my residence no as well as on my Mobile

                    No:[protected] regularly.Mr.Vishnu Kumar the Head Service Quality Dept whom I

                    forwarded a mail for this Nuisance calling but he didn't do anything towards

                    my complain.I am getting nuisance calls from your collection dept for

                    Mr.Suhas Joshi on my mobile no.[protected] as well as on my land line also, on

                    08/09/2010, twice I got a call from [protected] at 16.41pm&on my land-line

                    also at 16.45pm.I don't understand that in-spite of making so many request

                    why do I get these nuisance calls on my no.The person Mr.Kulkarni who calls

                    me from his mobile No:[protected] he is using vulgar language with me as well

                    as with my family members.I asked him about his first name, from where he is

                    calling, which branch he is calling but he is not ready to provide me any

                    details.He will hung up the call.Today 13/9/10 at 16.58pmpm he called up on

                    my mobile I told him wrong no again he called at 5pm & asked my name, I said

                    I am Mr.Hebbar speaking, he disconnected the phone.He immediately called up

                    on my land line no which was picked up by my daughter, she called me & told

                    that some one is using very rubbish&uncivilized language&he is giving his

                    name Mr.Kulkarni so I again asked him all the details that from where exactly

                    he is calling&which branch of ICICI Bank, but he was not giving me any

                    details.I asked him that from where did he get this no?He said that this No

                    is given me by Mr.Suhas Joshi.So I told him that I am not that person for

                    whom he is looking for.I told him that I will report to the police then he

                    hung up the call.This has become almost daily nuisance.As I have mentioned so

                    many times to Mr.Vishnu Kumar"The Head Of The Icici Bank Quality Dept"but I

                    think he doesn't bother to take care.He has never given me assurance

                    regarding these Nuisance calls.
                    Just to inform here that neither I am having any account from ICICI Bank nor

                    having any credit card then why am I being harassed by ICICI Bank so

                    frequently?When ever I asked caller that,"from where did you get this no?They

                    always reply that Mr.Suhas Joshi gave this no.So I just want to ask a

                    question to ICICI Bank authority that did they ever confirm on this

                    particular No:[protected], before giving the credit card or loan that this

                    No;[protected] belongs to Mr.Suhas Joshi?No never simply they gave credit card

                    to that person Mr.Suhas Joshi without confirming any details.And now when

                    Mr.Joshi is defaulter they are calling on my No:[protected] which was never

                    belonged to Mr.Suhas Joshi.Now it's a height of my tolerance.So I request

                    here in this forum pl.look in to this matter & do need ful to my complain&see

                    to it that there should not be any more calls from Goons like Mr.Kulkarni.

                    Now today on 14/9/10 I got a message from Mr.Vishnu Kumar(Quality Head of

                    ICICI Bank)that I need to wait till 24/9/2010 for the solution of my

                    problem.But I am sure that nothing will happen because this kind of so many

                    mails I have received in past by Head of The Quality Dept,but again after

                    couple of months I start receiving those harassing&Nuisance calls.so can any

                    body suggest me what else I should do?

                        Dear Sir,

                        Please be informed that my card no is [protected], my intention was not bad otherwise I would have default for rs 34000 because my credit limit was 34000 & I have not withdrawn money from my saving account because my saving account is link with demat account. My transaction amt was rs 998 on dt 2nd Jan,10. Prior to this date my credit limit get ZERO because of non usage of card.

                        Dues of this credit card has been recovered from my saving account. Bank has not given intimation of debiting my saving account nor any call for collection made from bank side.

                        Bank employee chaitesh patel is saying bank has full rights to do this kind of action. Bank has rights when to settle any issue.

                        Concern employees whosoever looking after my case has done nothing for recovery but when I have visited collection centre for settlement , I had given my saving account no to chaitesh patel because my saving account is attached with demat account & it is containing approximately 1.5 lakh of equity share.

                        I had given my saving account detail on 16th August,10 and my saving account has been debited for rs 9052 on 23rd August,10. Debited amount comprises of over limit charges & service tax for which I am not responsible. Because I was not using card approximately 1.5 years after that bank has made my credit limit to zero. One day when I have done shopping of rs 998 on dt 2nd January,10 that point of time my credit limit was zero. Hence bank has charged for that and after over period of time this amount reached up to 9052.

                        After debiting this amount from my saving account still bank showing outstanding amount in my credit card account that is approximately rs.890.

                        In this case what is the intention of bank ?

                        Because I have escalated this issue to ICICI BANK’s top vertical heads also on below mentioned link but no response received.

                        Do not accept the apologize from the customer service team. They are Fit only for asking apologizessss.. you can't find the solution from them...

                        Read the complaints from other customers they are not in the matter o[censored]nhappy they are lifeless becasue of this ICICI BANK. Swithover to other good banks, now we have more facility to transfer the shares or comoditis from one account to other a/c pls do that. Don't beg these ICICI MBA S.

                        As these guys telling that they are leding bank, they are not only leading bank and also they have leading consumer cases. be carefull if you are clever enogh swithover.
                        I have not seen such tremendous /excellent care of Justice given by consumer forum, provided you & your issue should be genuine...Thanks a lot, consumer forum team.

                        Aside ICICI bank - There should a transparency between your customer and you. I think, your customer don't know, where to contact and how to contact in case of any injustice.

                          It is to bring under each & every one's notice notice that, I have been continuously harassed by Mr.Kulkarni from ICICI Bank Credit card collections department.He has been regularly harassing me for the Third Party Credit Card collection.He has been calling on my residence no as well as on my Mobile No:[protected] regularly.Mr.Vishnu Kumar the Head Service Quality Dept whom I forwarded a mail for this Nuisance calling but he didn't do anything towards my complain.I am getting nuisance calls from your collection dept for Mr.Suhas Joshi on my mobile no.[protected] as well as on my land line also, on 08/09/2010, twice I got a call from [protected] at 16.41pm&on my land-line also at 16.45pm.I don't understand that in-spite of making so many request why do I get these nuisance calls on my no.The person Mr.Kulkarni who calls me from his mobile No:[protected] he is using vulgar language with me as well as with my family members.I asked him about his first name, from where he is calling, which branch he is calling but he is not ready to provide me any details.He will hung up the call.Today 13/9/10 at 16.58pmpm he called up on my mobile I told him wrong no again he called at 5pm & asked my name, I said I am Mr.Hebbar speaking, he disconnected the phone.He immediately called up on my land line no which was picked up by my daughter, she called me & told that some one is using very rubbish&uncivilized language&he is giving his name Mr.Kulkarni so I again asked him all the details that from where exaactly he is calling&which branch of ICICI Bank, but he was not giving me any details.I asked him that from where did he get this no?He said that this No is given me by Mr.Suhas Joshi.So I told him that I am not that person for whom he is looking for.I told him that I will report to the police then he hung up the call.This has become almost daily nuisance.As I have mentioned so many times to Mr.Vishnu Kumar"The Head Of The Icici Bank Quality Dep"but I think he doesn't bother to take care.He has never given me assurance regarding these Nuisance calls.
                          Just to inform here that neither I am having any account from ICICI Bank nor having any credit card then why am I being harassed by ICICI Bank so frequently?When ever I asked caller that "from where did you get this no?They always reply that Mr.Suhas Joshi gave this no.So I just want to ask a question to ICICI Bank authority that did they ever confirm on this particular No:[protected], before giving the redit card or loan that this No;[protected] belongs to Mr.Suhas Joshi?No never simply they gave credit card to that person Mr.Suhas Joshi without confirming any details.And now when Mr.Joshi is defaulter they are calling on my No:[protected] which was never belonged to Mr.Suhas Joshi.Now it's a height of my tolerance.So I request here in this forum pl.look in to this matter & do need ful to my complain&see to it that there should not be any more calles from Goons like Mr.Kulkarni.

                            As i had 16585 points in my imint card when i checked it for the last time.
                            But when i reached in the outlet to redeem my points i found that my 16000
                            were burned and i had a balance of 585 points only.When i called the customer care they told me that you have already used your 16000 points.

                                  I have been going through the nightmare from ICICI Bank. Though I have been sending them mails and following up regularly. The only prompt action from them is - they send me a classical message saying 'We understand your concernns, your service request is so and so and we will get back to you in 2/3 days". But after few days the service request gets closed automatically without any action.
                                  I have sent mails to customer care, NRI manager, NRI helpdesk, plus to the Branch Manager through online message. But the result is the same - no action; Here are my difficulties in the past couple of months;

                                  1. I had opened a DEMAT account on 16th July 2010. A representative named Nishant had come to Fort branch to collect the copies of the documents and my application. He assured me the process takes few days, but he would get in touch with me. As there was no updates from him, I called him several times on his mobile ([protected]), he was not answering the call at all. On 2nd August he answered my call, in which I reminded him about my Demat account. He said in few days he would ensure I get the updates. But sofar nothing happened.
                                  I called him on 4th September several times and reminded him about it, he said the officers delayed the process to verify my documents (Hope he says the truth), and he took my address, promissing me to deliver the welcome kit at my residence at Masjid Bunder. But as usual - nothing happened. Next day I sent him an SMS saying you havent sent the person with the welcome kit. No response from him sofar.

                                  2. I had called Mr.Praful to speak about Salary account and I thought he might be able to help me on the demat account issues and other concerns I have with ICICI Bank. He gave me a reference of Sheetal Gadkari, I spoke to her and she asked me to put all my concerns by email, which I did. She neither acknowledged the receipt of my email, nor she actioned. I called her after two days to check if she received the email, she is suggesting me to call someone else as she was on leave. I requested her if she can forward my number to the right person and make me speak with them. She said she would, but again - nothing happened. I wrote email after few days to ICICI Bank, NRI Manager, Helpdesk with cc to Sheetal Gadkari - but no action sofar. I guess incompetant team of ICICI Bank doesnt care customer.

                                  3. I had gone on a project to Saudi, as the payment is US$ and sent directly into our bank account (NRI). I called NRI Personnel (Mr.Chaitanya of Mira Road branch), asking if there are any steps I need to follow; He said nothing, just note the swift code and they can do the tt (wire transfer) into my account. I also wrote to ICICI Bank, they replied me the same. But when the wire transfer happened, they were prompt in deducting the amount from the sender bank but never credited into my account. After almost 10-12 days when I am following up, Mr.Chaitanya is telling me stories, saying due to RBI guidelines, we are unable to accept the amount. When I asked why it was not mentioned earlier? He said he started telling stories, saying he doesnt have access to emails, he is not allowed to mail me. I wrote to Customer care, they finally replied to me saying they have instructed the Mira Road branch to credit into my account. But when I contacted Mira Road branch through mails, there is still no action. This is 16th day and both my invoices (US$ 3600 and US$ 6800 are not credited into my account sofar). I called Mr.Chaitanya, he rejected my call and sent me SMS, saying he is in a training and he would call me back. He neither called me back, nor accepted my call next day.

                                  4. I had opened an account with Fort branch ICICI, I was given online login/password. When I tried to login, the passwords given were not working. I raised this concerns couple of times, but there is no proper response from ICICI Bank.

                                  5. I had a call from ICICI Lombard in 2009 about its full package insurance. The representative clearly mentioned that all the sicknesses will be covered as part of the policy. I took a policy by paying 15000 through credit card. But after 6 months when someone else saying a different story, he says, for the first year they dont cover all tests, only after 1 year or 2 years I can avail all tests. Now looking at the way ICICI bank staff treating its customers, I opted to close my insurance. I was given call by someone, asking me to renew the policy. I asked him I have few medicine bills of Rs.500 can I claime? He says yes I can claim if I renew. Meaning I need to pay 15000 to get 500 refund. Sounds like the person either came from Andaman Nicobar or he considers me I came from Andaman Nicobar. Just wondering what kind of cartoons ICICI Bank is hiring.

                                  ICICI Bank has become truly unprofessional and careless. I have all the communication prints which I want to send to Mrs.Chanda Kochar. Hope she cares the grievances of customers. This is really getting ridiculous to see such a bad service from ICICI Bank.

                                    I have taken home loan from ICICI bank in year 2003.

                                    Since 2003 I am regularly paying loan premium without any single default to this bank.

                                    Recently RBI has changed some policies such as change PLR to Base Rate amount etc.

                                    I have visited to ICICI bank Vashi branch at sector 1 on last saturday i.e 4th September 2010 and requested to the executive to change my current PLR rate from 10% PA to 8.75% PA as charged to the new home loan seeker.

                                    The executive has not helped me and asked to write mail to bank direct. He has refused to change home amount interest at base rate amount.

                                    As I am old customer since 2003 but not changed and considered for old customer any new policies and making money to goofing customers.

                                    I appeal to not approach by any one to ICICI bank for Home loan. As I faced many problem with this bank in the past.

                                      This is Rajapandian and I have been using ICICI savings account[protected]Nungambakkam branch, Chennai)for more than 4 years. I have got loan through this account and there are LPCHE[protected], LPCHE[protected]. Every month I need to pay 8344, 3170 respectively for these loans and I have been made payment on time each and every month. Till now, I did not make any payment issues for these loans. Every month 5 th is the payment due date, so I deposited Rs-11,696 on 4ht sep, 2010. But after time the amount got vanished and it was deducted for some other purpose but not for loans .I got shocked and verified through ICICI customer care .They said, the amount got debited for credit care payment. Again I got shocked , because I have only one ICICI credit and I made Rs.1,55,459 on 23,aug,2010 .The credit card number is[protected]. Now, the credit card balance is zero and there is no balance amount I need to pay hereafter. The customer care representative asked me to go and meet the officers at ambattur branch, Chennai. I went there and met the person even in my busy schedule. They cross verified every thing and they said this amount deducted for some other credit card ended with 4004.I clearly informed that I have no such credit card in my hand. They asked me to pay the credit card balance rs.17,621 .This is totally unfair that they asked me to pay money for credit card which I don’t have and they weren’t telling each and every transaction for the credit card balance amount 17,621. As per RBI rules nobody can access the savings account even they are from ICICI bank.

                                      How come they can deduct any amount from my account without informing to customer or to me?

                                      This is purely a theft made by ICICI Bank.

                                      Why ICICI Bank didn’t contacted me that they are going to deduct ‘x’ amount from my saving account, the same question I have asked with ICICI Bank representative. I always get a sms, they have my mail ID. Why they just don’t inform me.

                                      I will further make no payments at all and assure you that I will take legal actions against ICICI under Human rights.

                                      Sir / Ma'am i would like to please take this issue seriously and take an action them immediately.

                                      P.S -- Please be very cautious if you have ICICI Bank account (or any other bank account) anything can happen with your money.
