i recently got a car loan settlement letter which reads only about the amount after waiver given and nothing about when they are issuing noc,when asked they say it is a natural process,but why dont they mention it in the letter saying that once the payment is recd the noc will be provided,what is the problem in giving it in white and black?what ever is assured orally can be confirmed through the letter.why are they not doing it? is it to harass us further for more money? please resolve my query

    Dear team,
    I am one of the unsatisfied customer of icici bank ltd.
    1. Actually i was an ex-employee of icici bank with a salary account..i had also applied independent credit card(not staff card) but the bank has automatically turned my normal card into staff card and when the charges incurred due to jammu bandh in the month of jul 2008 bank didnot reversed my charges by saying its a staff card.
    2. In the month of April, i came to know that there was a debit of Rs 1450 as subscription, at that very moment i called up customer care for blocking my card and raise the dispute to the merchant for the same and executive informed me about blocking card and assures me of a new one but TILL DATE i have not received new card neither they have raised the dispute to the merchant.
    When got a call from bank they said give us application letter signed me and the same was provided to mr praveen potharlanar and majeet on 13 may 2010 and he just take this for granted and didn't raise the dispute.
    I was in conception that he might raised the request but when i am getting reminders mails from bank then i took the case with that guy along with senior persons of icici bank(chanda kochchar, ram kumar, amit das, praveen, customer.[protected]@icicibank.com and call centre guys.) but no reply from any side rather they blame me of not taking followups with the bank.
    then in the month of Aug i talked to Mr Amit Das (Senior manager) regarding the negligence, he simply denied bank;s negligence and said that they never received my signed application. and if received its not singed..(see attachement)
    Then i forwarded the same to amit das and he mailed me the TAT of 90 days.
    Now, today 27 sep 2010, my two SIP's of RS 1000 each got bounced because bank has marked lien in my sb a/c without intimating me and when talking with the customer care they are informed about the dispute and threatens me for payment otherwise they will debit the amount from my account.

    i also lodged complaint in banking ombudsmen, they say that first bank has to take action if not taken then came to us....i submiited my application ONlY after when these this happened .
    Now where should i go....customer care of bank is not helping.senior managers not helping, chanda kochcha and ram kumar not responding, branched unable to help.????banking ombudman is also helpless??
    So where i customer can go and fight..

    Plz provide me with proper resolution.

      Dear Sir
      Subject:- Fraud for issuing Policy No 13217262

      I received a call on 28th of Dec 2009 from Delhi ICICI office that our Representative will be at your door step shortly regarding policy. Next day Mr Yogesh Kalara ( [protected] & [protected]) ICICI representative visit to my house, with his briefing about policy I was not convinced and I insisted him to get me policy features in written and asked him if any another policy with maximum premium. He assured to come next day with his Sr manager Haryana Zone Mr Dalginder Singh ([protected]). Another day both were at my home & same time again I received call for Delhi ICICI office Mrs Sheetal ([protected]) enquiring about their arrival at my home
      Mr Dalginder explained me as below
      1. The policy will cover Rs 40 Lakhs insurance
      2. Rs 4 Lakhs Medi claim for whole family
      3. Deposit Rs 1 Lakh for 5 years & 170% annual premium at the end of 5 years
      4. 20% per annum cash back as agent money to my account
      I was convinced and on asking ICICI written policy features he assured me to get it next day and on just verbal assurance/belief assuming this much reputed company’s Sr manager will not state lie, I rendered him a cheque of Rs one Lakh and signed the required documents. Off course till I received the policy on 18th Jan I daily called him for policy features but he kept on giving excuses
      On receiving the policy I was shocked to read it as its absolutely different then what Sr manager stated me, Immediately I called Mr Dalginder and returned the policy ( within 2 days/free look period) on 20 Jan. He promised me for my money back within coming two weeks .After waiting two weeks again I called him & was continuously in touch with Mr Dalginder and he keep on giving excuses that he got the cheque and will deliver on Monday/Friday/then got admitted in hospital etc
      Secondly the policy has been done through an agent from Karnal (HR) Panipet Office whom i never meet sure
      The sign on EBI is completely duplicate as I am sure I did not sign this documents and any one can clearly make out the duplicity

      This time it stuck in my mind that there is some fraud and misguidance taken place with me through above said person and he has made me fool after trusting a reputed company Sr manager. I confirmed from ICICI through some other sources about the policy and got reply its still active.
      I contact him again now he told me sir this is the case of miss sailing and you can lodge a complained in this Regards and switched off his phone , at present he is not traceable on his tel No also. He send me my policy through courier at my home address on 29th April 2010 with ICICI Panipat envelope he ( I am keeping the envelope with me) .
      Now hoping no option I wrote e-mail to [protected]@iciciprulife.com. , several times referring Call ID# 22454407, 22676383, 22688781 & email contacted with anil.[protected]@Iicicprulife & anita.[protected]@icicprulife stating only about free look period and finding my fault rather than reading the whole mail, can say just casual reply. Also I can forward all the correspondences’ done through e-mail including ICICI reply
      This shows that ICICI staff is not interested in solving the costumers problem, about the marketing gimmicks individual is playing for selling the policy and I am surprised how the reputed company is supporting and keeping this type of fraud staff , who are just interested in their commission only
      At last I request to refund my money back at earliest have been suffering for last 8 months for my own money
      .

      icici prulife — fraud of rs.20,000/-

      Sir,
      I have honour to request you that i, Vikas Babbar was an adviser of iciciprulife having lic. no. 3551347. I had done very well business. I had forward a policy case to the branch in the name of Mr. Dilbag Singh ( policy no. 6174462, life time super ) & deposited rs. 20, 000/- in branch. By an objection, the policy rejected & mumbai branch had issued a cheque in the favour of mr. dilbag singh . But in the batala branch, ( then mr. lalit sharma was the branch manager) the cheque had cashed by unknown emploee. I personally complained to the branch manager, miss megha in the amritsar branch, mr. vipin in risk branch, chd., but all in vein. Mr. lalit sharma ( [protected]) till now give me sweet toffeee as not to file 420 case in police.NO ONE GIVE ANY INFORMATION FOR LAST 1 & HALF YEAR. As the result of bitter experience, i can't concentrate on my career . The concerned customer had filed a criminal case on me in police station, Amritsar., as the result i pay him rs. 20, 000/- from my pocket. I request you to take keen interest in the case.

        Last 4 years ICICI Direct frond me and they have taken my money in fake transaction. I am expecting that will get some help from this organization. I like to file a case against to ICICIDIRECT.COM. Kindly help me.

        If this website help to poor people like me then kindly help me from fake banking service name "ICICIDIRECT.COM". I have call of icicidirect customer care but they did not taken care any thing. I kile to call RBI(If any control of private bank like ICICI Bank) kindly help me.
        Barakhamba road new delhi branch has a executive name BHARAT, who
        took away money from me, 30 days ago, and now does not return it, nor
        the demat a/c has been opened.
        similar thing happened in yr.2009 also. that too with me.
        some senior officer may investigate, where the money has gone?
        why on both occasions the a/c has not been opened?. pl. provide
        me the adress/e-mail of mrs. chanda kochar, so that i can take up the issue with her. dr. r k navalkha

          ICICI B2 banking is a fraud.. these guys do not provide access to your own money when you need them in the pretext of system downtime at 11 AM.. and it goes on the entire day.. isn't it a shame to bank like ICICI.. can they be trusted.

          On top of that they have sad 'customer service managers' who are nothing but a bunch of robot sounding people who know how to repeat those three four lines a million times, like their email replies which are nothing but copy paste.

          Mails to their Senior Service Manager - Anita Pai also was not responded.. its a classic case of arrogance. I have decided to approach the consumer court.. I am sure that I am not the only customer who has be harassed by ICICI.. all these even after holding a GOLD account and a Platinum Credit card!!

            Dear sir,

            This is in regards of my home loan with ICICI bank.

            Bank has lots of hidden policy one of them i would like to explain you here.

            1. My EMI cycle is 10th of every month.
            2. I have made payment of 5lakh rupees on 26th. and bank has processed it on same day and it was deducted from my saving account too.
            3. as per correct mathematical calculation i am suppose to pay interest on outstanding for 16 days and onoutstanding - 5L for 14 days.
            4. But bank has taken interest on outstanding for full month and not given me any benefit on amount that i paid them early.


            Please take this as a serious note and give me proper justice and stop all banks whoever are doing such faults.

            I have taken a money saver home loan from ICICI. During one of my random checks, I found that they have wrongly calculated interest rate for the month of February and deducted extra amount. I went to the branch 4-5 times, had lot of mail interaction with the branch manager. They agreed that there was a wrong calculation but even after more than 2 months the money was not refunded. I then raised the compliant level and then finally they reverted back the money. However, they refused to tell me what was the actual problem behind this mistake. I raised my complaint to upper levels but there was no response from their side at all.
            I am putting this information here for common interest of people as I think this should affect all moneysaver customers and thats why they are not ready to tell the actual problem. I even told them that it should be affecting other customers but their response was that they will not tell anything about other customers whether it is affecting them or not.

              i like to inform you that i was using edc card acceptance services from icici bank . i swapped some cards on 28-07-09. but in evening when i close the batch i come to know that icici bank deactivate the tid of the edc without any prior intimation. very next day they collect all dox regarding the transaction. i even mailed twice the dox. and call cutomer care unlimited times. firstly they said for wait 255 days. and its past even 4 months after 255 days but still payment not credited in my a/c. transaction was of rs 70000/- (approx). please do the needful.
              i want to get out from cibil . i dont know what to do i want my list what and all pendings is there . i will clear it off tell hw to do

                Hi I am a credit card holder of an ICICI bank from several years & also I have maintained our record in a very good manner but one time I was late to deposit the amount due to some reason,then ICICI bank send some Jaat or illiterate guys to collect the payment at my home,I was not there on that time they used abusive language with my family members & given him like warnings that deposit the amount today any how,then I came back after few days & called to those guys,they again came to my home to collect the payment.After a long conversation, I have given the whole balance amount to them by cash because they were using such a abusive langauge which was not acceptable.so I have closed the matter but they have not given me any reciept on that time & told me that,due to long payment delay your card is being cancelled & not activate again.So I told them ok but you can give me some kind of proof of closing this account,then they told me that they will come within 2 working days after submitting the amount along with the closing letter of the credit card.
                But till now this account is going on & I have recieved so many massages on a monthly basis & now ICICI bank cross their limit,persons from ICICI bank keep calling me on a daily basis with such an illiteratic & villager abusive language due to this I am very disappointed because I was trying to make my life easier but it doesn't & also they had come to my office to give me card.
                Firstly they called for the sales,then collection,then for abuse ,I think this the best job which ICICI bank have done behind the wall.

                Well this is the situation,now tell me what can I do
                Now a days the persons who called me with the fantastic abusive language along with the Nos. are:

                Please help me out for that.

                  I am writing to express my nightmare experience with ICICI Prulife. I purchased 3 Smartkid/life insurance policies. in 2007. I surrendered the policies in July 2010 and requested a complete refund. I submitted all requested documents per the surrender form.

                  - Company never acknowledged by email or letter that they were in receipt of my surrender documents.
                  - Company did not issue a settlement statement telling me how much to expect based on my policies and tenure of holding.

                  - After repeatedly calling the service department, I confirmed that policies were in fact in queue and will get paid. This was in first week of Aug 2010. Based on the company info, policies are paid out with in 6-10 business days.

                  It is Sept 22nd, I have been paid out 2 of the three policies. One was paid in Indian rupees and I had to ask help from my family in India to run around and get the certificate enabling deposition into NRE account. Second policy was directly deposited into the NRE account.
                  Third policy is still in queue somewhere. I have been getting requests for additional documents when I call to check the status. First a request was made for copy of Indian passport. After I submitted that, I was told money would be deposited into my account by Sept 10, then Sept 15. After I called to follow up today, I was told the company needs more documents/bank statement showing proof of deposit from NRE account.

                  Think hard before you buy any product from this company. You may have to run around to get your own money back.

                    ICICI BANK is cheating Customers by by implementing lots of Hidden charges with the bank. There are no information provided to bank through any mode of communication.Example is ATM Transaction Decline Charges.

                    They are deducting RS. 28 for each transaction decline for any of the mentioned cause below.
                    causes:

                    1. Insufficient Balance in Customer Salary Account(For all types of Account)
                    2. If there is NO MONEY Available in the ATM.
                    2. If the ATM Machine is not able to dispense the desire amount of money. E.G. Customer want Rs. 10000/= in one transaction with the ATM but in the time the ATM Machine is only having Currency of Rs. 100/= available in it. Then the transaction will be obviously declined as a ATM is able to dispense 40 NOTES in a single transaction.

                    In this scenario also, ICICI Bank is COLLECTING ATM DECLINATION CHARGES FROM CUSTOMER. RIDICULOUS PROCESS OF ICICI BANK. This is the example of the very dissatisfying act of the bank.

                    Not happy at all with the nature of service of ICICI Bank.

                      This is to Inform every NRI ,that theres no response to from the Admin team ,My Account has be not active for some time now possibly due to KYC reasons , But now as advised to me by ICICI Branch here in UAE to update my KYC.My first mail was sent to them on -

                      After so much follow up Dubai office assited me to submit the application form that was done on 2nd of Sept 2010.But since that day there has been been no reply from ICICI Direct team for updation of my Application .Infact i got 2-3 reponses on my Mail from ms Neha(1mail),Mr Acahrya(1 mail),Ms Jyothi(2 Mails) & after I reply back ,it seems that the mail goes in a Black hole & no body responds.Secondly I dont understand why NRI customers are asked to send mails on teh above Ids ,where we dont even know who is following it up.,rather an Individual ID for Individual Country atleast should be responsible so that we can follow up with that person .I suggest everybody not to use ICICI for share trading becoz of their pathetic response.

                          This is Chaitanya Lakshmi. I’ve raised a request regarding payment refund missing in statement.
                          I’ve paid 549/- 4times in the month of April. On 18th April(1-time) and on 19th April(3-times).
                          The amount paid on 18th April is not refunded even the transaction is failed. For that I’ve mailed and didn't receive any response.I've called customercare and asked for refund but they said that its paid to Reliance.Reliance people said that the transaction failed in evening at 5.09pm.

                          Will you please look in to the issue and do the needful..

                          icicibankcard payment — non receipt of statement

                            Since Last three months I have been depositing my Credit Card Cheque Staements on time through Cheques in The ICICI Bk Drop Box, Sector 35, Chd well in time. though Card No was being correctly mentioned though with One Last Digit short.I have been mentioning my Name with Address & Contact Numbers for the Bank's referyal. But sorry to say that Bank officials did not take the trouble to check either the antecedents of my cheque or my details mentioned on the Back of the Cheque. Rather helping me out they have levied unjustified Penalty and Interest charges. I foresee that I am not a valuable customer whom the bank doesnt value & require.I would humbly request the Bank officers to kindly delte me as your Credit Card Holder.                               Airtel Mobile — recharge talktime not received

                              Dear Sir
                              I recharged my mother’s prepaid no: [protected] for Rs 500/- from a authorized dealer in Behala. She is in new Delhi and is on roaming. However , even though she received a confirmation message from 555555 that the recharge had been successful , she has not received the required talktime on her number.
                              I called up the customercare in the afternoon and the person told me to dial *121*9# and that I would need to finish in 30 days time. He said that the non receipt of talktime was my mistake since I should call your customercare everytime I want to recharge my no. and enquire about the schemes available. This is [censored]….I and my family members have taken prepaid connections in order to have the convenience of saving time and money as per our usage and not to get stressed out everytime we have to recharge our mobile numbers.
                              I did a normal recharge through the abovementioned site for Rs 500/- and got your message from 555555, which means that my recharge was successful. Therefore I want the talktime to be credited to my number immediately. I did not ask for any special scheme for my mobile number.
                              I would like to inform you that this is the 2nd time that I have had to suffer this kind of lousy service from your company. Earlier it was on my mobile number [protected] and now I am facing the same issue for my mother’s mobile number.
                              Kindly credit the necessary talktime to the no. [protected] at earliest because if this is not done , I will now have to approach the consumer forum or look for legal redressal for this perpetual problem with your organization and the huge amount of mental agony caused by the lack of commonsense and basic knowledge about the job function of your personnel. Everytime I have to interact with them I expect that incorrect information will be provided to me and an attempt will be made to slip out of the responsibility of wrongdoing by your organization. I am beginning to feel that your organization trains them to somehow ‘not be responsible’ for the customer’s grievances.

                                I am a central govt employee working in delhi as an Assistant engineer.In the first month of year 2005 ICICI bank employee approched me in my office and offered me ICICI LOMBARD HEALTH POLICY which i accepted and paid the premium of Rs 19354/- for it. After few months later when i recieved policy bond No.(4034/FP/055720/00/000), there was a credit card ([protected]) along with it which i never demanded.In policy bond and also on credit card there was mistake in my name it was printed AMAR SING instead of AMAR SINGH.so, i contacted the ICICI bank and reagister my problem. After few days later without my consent and authority ICICI bank sent me another card ([protected]) bearing my name AMAR SINGH. both these cards are never ever used by me ,not even single time.I have not opend the enevolope of pin mailer either.After one year bank sent me a card statement and ask for service charge for maintaining the credit card.I ignored that statement because i have already conveyed my message telephonically for blocking my card as i never wanted it.after few weeks later a law firm hired by ICICI bank sent me legal notice for clearing my dues and their fees and warned me that failing which they will register a case against me, so i paid almost Rs.12000/- only because of ICICI bank's wrong and misleading policies.I thought this was the end of my problems but i was wrong.Last year in october 2009 i approched SBI for car loan.i was shocked when they refused my application because of my credit history .later when i present my case to them, they finally approved my loan. After that in november 2009 i contacted ICICI bank and enquire about my case , they responded by saying that they will rectify my account at their end in a month time. In the meantime i sent them many reminder mails regarding my problem.In August 2010 after almost eight months i asked for my CREDIT REPRT from CIBIL(CREDIT INFORMATION BUREAU INDIA LIMITED) it still shows overdue of Rs.13000 towards ICICI bank.It is shoking to see that bank is not only misleading but actually harrassing the common people.even after so many months no initiative is taken to clear my name that is even after remindeing several time.
