It is to bring under each & every one's notice notice that, I have been continuously harassed by Mr.Kulkarni from ICICI Bank Credit card collections department.He has been regularly harassing me for the Third Party Credit Card collection.He has been calling on my residence no as well as on my Mobile No:[protected] regularly.Mr.Vishnu Kumar the Head Service Quality Dept whom I forwarded a mail for this Nuisance calling but he didn't do anything towards my complain.I am getting nuisance calls from your collection dept for Mr.Suhas Joshi on my mobile no.[protected] as well as on my land line also, on 08/09/2010, twice I got a call from [protected] at 16.41pm&on my land-line also at 16.45pm.I don't understand that in-spite of making so many request why do I get these nuisance calls on my no.The person Mr.Kulkarni who calls me from his mobile No:[protected] he is using vulgar language with me as well as with my family members.I asked him about his first name, from where he is calling, which branch he is calling but he is not ready to provide me any details.He will hung up the call.Today 13/9/10 at 16.58pmpm he called up on my mobile I told him wrong no again he called at 5pm & asked my name, I said I am Mr.Hebbar speaking, he disconnected the phone.He immediately called up on my land line no which was picked up by my daughter, she called me & told that some one is using very rubbish&uncivilized language&he is giving his name Mr.Kulkarni so I again asked him all the details that from where exaactly he is calling&which branch of ICICI Bank, but he was not giving me any details.I asked him that from where did he get this no?He said that this No is given me by Mr.Suhas Joshi.So I told him that I am not that person for whom he is looking for.I told him that I will report to the police then he hung up the call.This has become almost daily nuisance.As I have mentioned so many times to Mr.Vishnu Kumar"The Head Of The Icici Bank Quality Dep"but I think he doesn't bother to take care.He has never given me assurance regarding these Nuisance calls.
Just to inform here that neither I am having any account from ICICI Bank nor having any credit card then why am I being harassed by ICICI Bank so frequently?When ever I asked caller that "from where did you get this no?They always reply that Mr.Suhas Joshi gave this no.So I just want to ask a question to ICICI Bank authority that did they ever confirm on this particular No:[protected], before giving the redit card or loan that this No;[protected] belongs to Mr.Suhas Joshi?No never simply they gave credit card to that person Mr.Suhas Joshi without confirming any details.And now when Mr.Joshi is defaulter they are calling on my No:[protected] which was never belonged to Mr.Suhas Joshi.Now it's a height of my tolerance.So I request here in this forum pl.look in to this matter & do need ful to my complain&see to it that there should not be any more calles from Goons like Mr.Kulkarni.

    Sir,
    As i had 16585 points in my imint card when i checked it for the last time.
    But when i reached in the outlet to redeem my points i found that my 16000
    were burned and i had a balance of 585 points only.When i called the customer care they told me that you have already used your 16000 points.
    But when asked for a proof that which outlet did i redeemed my points they
    had nothing to say.

      I deposited cheque no 822254 amount 16650 of canara Bank for clearing my ICICI Bank credit card dues
      but same has not been honoured was the information from ICICI Bank & simultaneously the amount is debited in my canara bank account . This was account payee cheque.

        I,Santana Ray have purchased six numbers of tax saving bonds,February 2005,its deemed date of allotment was 8.4.2005 and redemption date was 8.4.2010 with bond holder no.[protected] and certificate no. 50360 with distinctive no(s[protected].
        The said original bond certificate has already been sent to your address through registered post with A/D (as per bond condition)on 17.7.2010.
        But,till date the maturity amount with interest has not been deposited to my bank account through ECS.
        Therefore,kindly let me know the present position and take necessary early action in this matter.

          I have been going through the nightmare from ICICI Bank. Though I have been sending them mails and following up regularly. The only prompt action from them is - they send me a classical message saying 'We understand your concernns, your service request is so and so and we will get back to you in 2/3 days". But after few days the service request gets closed automatically without any action.
          I have sent mails to customer care, NRI manager, NRI helpdesk, plus to the Branch Manager through online message. But the result is the same - no action; Here are my difficulties in the past couple of months;

          1. I had opened a DEMAT account on 16th July 2010. A representative named Nishant had come to Fort branch to collect the copies of the documents and my application. He assured me the process takes few days, but he would get in touch with me. As there was no updates from him, I called him several times on his mobile ([protected]), he was not answering the call at all. On 2nd August he answered my call, in which I reminded him about my Demat account. He said in few days he would ensure I get the updates. But sofar nothing happened.
          I called him on 4th September several times and reminded him about it, he said the officers delayed the process to verify my documents (Hope he says the truth), and he took my address, promissing me to deliver the welcome kit at my residence at Masjid Bunder. But as usual - nothing happened. Next day I sent him an SMS saying you havent sent the person with the welcome kit. No response from him sofar.

          2. I had called Mr.Praful to speak about Salary account and I thought he might be able to help me on the demat account issues and other concerns I have with ICICI Bank. He gave me a reference of Sheetal Gadkari, I spoke to her and she asked me to put all my concerns by email, which I did. She neither acknowledged the receipt of my email, nor she actioned. I called her after two days to check if she received the email, she is suggesting me to call someone else as she was on leave. I requested her if she can forward my number to the right person and make me speak with them. She said she would, but again - nothing happened. I wrote email after few days to ICICI Bank, NRI Manager, Helpdesk with cc to Sheetal Gadkari - but no action sofar. I guess incompetant team of ICICI Bank doesnt care customer.

          3. I had gone on a project to Saudi, as the payment is US$ and sent directly into our bank account (NRI). I called NRI Personnel (Mr.Chaitanya of Mira Road branch), asking if there are any steps I need to follow; He said nothing, just note the swift code and they can do the tt (wire transfer) into my account. I also wrote to ICICI Bank, they replied me the same. But when the wire transfer happened, they were prompt in deducting the amount from the sender bank but never credited into my account. After almost 10-12 days when I am following up, Mr.Chaitanya is telling me stories, saying due to RBI guidelines, we are unable to accept the amount. When I asked why it was not mentioned earlier? He said he started telling stories, saying he doesnt have access to emails, he is not allowed to mail me. I wrote to Customer care, they finally replied to me saying they have instructed the Mira Road branch to credit into my account. But when I contacted Mira Road branch through mails, there is still no action. This is 16th day and both my invoices (US$ 3600 and US$ 6800 are not credited into my account sofar). I called Mr.Chaitanya, he rejected my call and sent me SMS, saying he is in a training and he would call me back. He neither called me back, nor accepted my call next day.

          4. I had opened an account with Fort branch ICICI, I was given online login/password. When I tried to login, the passwords given were not working. I raised this concerns couple of times, but there is no proper response from ICICI Bank.

          5. I had a call from ICICI Lombard in 2009 about its full package insurance. The representative clearly mentioned that all the sicknesses will be covered as part of the policy. I took a policy by paying 15000 through credit card. But after 6 months when someone else saying a different story, he says, for the first year they dont cover all tests, only after 1 year or 2 years I can avail all tests. Now looking at the way ICICI bank staff treating its customers, I opted to close my insurance. I was given call by someone, asking me to renew the policy. I asked him I have few medicine bills of Rs.500 can I claime? He says yes I can claim if I renew. Meaning I need to pay 15000 to get 500 refund. Sounds like the person either came from Andaman Nicobar or he considers me I came from Andaman Nicobar. Just wondering what kind of cartoons ICICI Bank is hiring.

          ICICI Bank has become truly unprofessional and careless. I have all the communication prints which I want to send to Mrs.Chanda Kochar. Hope she cares the grievances of customers. This is really getting ridiculous to see such a bad service from ICICI Bank.

            I have taken home loan from ICICI bank in year 2003.

            Since 2003 I am regularly paying loan premium without any single default to this bank.

            Recently RBI has changed some policies such as change PLR to Base Rate amount etc.

            I have visited to ICICI bank Vashi branch at sector 1 on last saturday i.e 4th September 2010 and requested to the executive to change my current PLR rate from 10% PA to 8.75% PA as charged to the new home loan seeker.

            The executive has not helped me and asked to write mail to bank direct. He has refused to change home amount interest at base rate amount.

            As I am old customer since 2003 but not changed and considered for old customer any new policies and making money to goofing customers.

            I appeal to not approach by any one to ICICI bank for Home loan. As I faced many problem with this bank in the past.

              This is Rajapandian and I have been using ICICI savings account[protected]Nungambakkam branch, Chennai)for more than 4 years. I have got loan through this account and there are LPCHE[protected], LPCHE[protected]. Every month I need to pay 8344, 3170 respectively for these loans and I have been made payment on time each and every month. Till now, I did not make any payment issues for these loans. Every month 5 th is the payment due date, so I deposited Rs-11,696 on 4ht sep, 2010. But after time the amount got vanished and it was deducted for some other purpose but not for loans .I got shocked and verified through ICICI customer care .They said, the amount got debited for credit care payment. Again I got shocked , because I have only one ICICI credit and I made Rs.1,55,459 on 23,aug,2010 .The credit card number is[protected]. Now, the credit card balance is zero and there is no balance amount I need to pay hereafter. The customer care representative asked me to go and meet the officers at ambattur branch, Chennai. I went there and met the person even in my busy schedule. They cross verified every thing and they said this amount deducted for some other credit card ended with 4004.I clearly informed that I have no such credit card in my hand. They asked me to pay the credit card balance rs.17,621 .This is totally unfair that they asked me to pay money for credit card which I don’t have and they weren’t telling each and every transaction for the credit card balance amount 17,621. As per RBI rules nobody can access the savings account even they are from ICICI bank.

              How come they can deduct any amount from my account without informing to customer or to me?

              This is purely a theft made by ICICI Bank.

              Why ICICI Bank didn’t contacted me that they are going to deduct ‘x’ amount from my saving account, the same question I have asked with ICICI Bank representative. I always get a sms, they have my mail ID. Why they just don’t inform me.

              I will further make no payments at all and assure you that I will take legal actions against ICICI under Human rights.

              Sir / Ma'am i would like to please take this issue seriously and take an action them immediately.

              P.S -- Please be very cautious if you have ICICI Bank account (or any other bank account) anything can happen with your money.

                Dear Sir,
                Subject: Fraud transaction from my Savings A/c No.[protected]
                of ICICI bank, Lokhandwala Branch.
                I would like to inform you that on 8th Sept 2010 when I opened my internet banking website I could not log in to my ICICI account and there was a message that the ID was disabled and hence I immediately check with your customer care via phone banking and it came to my notice that there was an unknown transaction for Rs. 11,000/- directly debited from my Savings A/c No.[protected] to some other ICICI bank A/c. On knowing the same I made a complaint with complaint No. [protected] dt: 08/09/10 at 19:48 hrs. to Ms. Dipti.
                On reconfirming the same with your customer care , Mr. Manish did inform to us that the money was transferred to another ICICI A/c. by the name of Ms. Shaheena Sayyed. Since I had not made any sort of such transactions I was surprised to hear the same from Mr. Manish. I enquired with him about the consignee ie. Ms. Shaheena Sayyed account details and the branch name but he refrained to give me the same.
                We would again like to inform to you that I have not made any such transactions by myself and the same has been illegally transferred to some other account.
                In the month of January 2008 I had faced the same problem with my account and at that time the transferred money was Rs. 52,478.76 in two transactions, (Rs. 28,149.00 & Rs. 24329.76 Dt.11/01/08). This has been fraudulently withdrawn from my ICICI bank account and was transferred to EBAY-PAISAPAY/[protected] and EBAY-PAISAPAY/[protected] respectively. On filing a complaint in ICICI bank & Cyber crime office, ICICI bank accepted their fault and we received the payment of Rs. 28,149.00 and ICICI bank assured that we would get the balance payment after 30 days. But till today we are yet to receive the balance payment.
                Even then we made regular complaints to your bank and also to the ministry and the crime branch but did not receive the balance amount of Rs 24329.76, but now enough is enough. We would like to inform you that such kind of illegal transfer of money will now not be tolerated and that we would be compelled to take strict action against you if you do not intervene in this subject immediately.
                Request you to kindly look into this matter and inform us about your actions immediately.

                  Subject: No Withdrawal slilps in ICICI Bank - Bank Representative told, that is as per rules of ICICI Bank.

                  My Question: Since my ATM card blocked, could not retirive money and can't do internet transfer to other accounts. I did not to go bank with Cheque book, but I hope "Withdrawal slip" are basic necessary for any customer to withdraw his money anyware,

                  Case 1: If I am been travelled to some other state/place depending on ATM, if card doesn't work, should have a option of withdrawing money with withdrawal slips.

                  and I belive other banks are having withdrawing slip..is there any special approval for ICICI for not to have withdrawal slip.


                  and they are promoting by selling 5 cheque slips for Rs 110/- to take the instant cash

                  ICICI Credit Card — Discontinuation Of Credit Card Facility

                  Please do not not process my BSNL Telephone Bill for Rs. 1535/-due on 27-11-08 and in future also as Ido not want to avail this facility.I had already registered my request vide application dated[protected]. Amount due against me will be paid in due course.I shall not be responsible if any of my bill is processed in future. Treat this letter as my final request.

                  ICICI Bank — Withdrawal of money in other bank

                  Hi,

                  On 29th Nov, 2008, I tried to withdraw an amount of Rs.10, 000/- from SBI ATM. The money was debited from the a/c but not received at ATM. The next day the money was credited back. This is fine.

                  On 4th Dec 2008, 10, 000/- was deducted from my account stating the transaction done on 29th Nov, 2008. I raised a complaint with ICICI customer care. They took 10 days to resolve this. Finally they came back saying it will take 45 days to the money back.

                  With no fault of mine and only because of their technical problems, my money got blocked. Please do the needful.

                  ICICI Bank — Service withdrwan without notice

                  Hi,
                  I am using ICICI Bank Platinum Credit Card and as one of their facility they give there custoemr an option to convert any of their transactions into 6 months EMI without interest.

                  SO today i did some transaction and called ICICI Credit Care to get same converted into 6 EMI but Bank said we cannot do. I ask why. they give first:
                  >service is stopped.
                  >when i said howcome without intimating us, then bank said its stopped recently, in july
                  >Even then i asked how any service industry can stop any service without intimatign Customers.
                  >Long discussion went they kpt telling me process but didnt felt sorry nor gave me solution.
                  > i planned something with service i had but now if i dont pay then i have to pay either interest or whole money in single go .


                  ITS BECOMING DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH ICICI their customer service is very poor , need support to support us...

                  We are sorry to hear about your experience. We would like to assure you that the withdrawal slip facility has been discontinued because of the new “Payable at PAR” cheque book facility which is a better and easier to use facility. It enables customers to use cheques anywhere for any transactions as opposed to withdrawal slip facility which they could use only at the base branch and could withdraw only up to Rs 25000/- Moreover, another advantage is that customers don't need to go to their base branch which they would otherwise have to do in order to get the withdrawal slip issued. This facility has been introduced to make transactions easier for customers and to create a better banking experience.

                  What if the customer is in a Situation where both the Debit Card and the cheque book are not available and the customer is in urgent need of money, where he should go in this particular situation ?
                  My name is vijay verma and my account number is[protected] .before few month i went to bank branch mahaveer nagar II kota branch to ask about my account detail which was not being used since last 2 years and has a low balance than 10000, a lady was there she told me that just because account is not used since 2 years it is in dorment stage .I asked her if i want to run this account, will bank charge any detection of money, she replied no, you just deposit the amount and it come in running cundition.but when i deposite the amount of 20000 after a month i got emailin which almost half( 8550rupees) was deducted when i ask about this to DBM she said it not our fault it yr fault that u did't mantain your account and she was also behaiving verry rudely. And due to this i was verry mich disappointed by the icici bank service .but when i worned them tham that i will file a case against you the BM help me to get my money back.for that i am verry thankful for him. But the DBM i must say she dont deserve that position in any of the bank branch.please take strict action against her. Thankyou

                      My Name is Dhirajlal P. Waghela

                      I am using ICICI Bank's Credit card since last Three Year's.

                      I had not paid my Credit Card Outstanding for the month of March 2010 and Total Outstanding with financial charges came to Rs. 3645.28/- which i should have to pay immediately. I got the call from ICICI Bank's Assistant regarding the Payment Outstanding and he tolled me that the another assistant will pick up Cheque from my home I agreed for the same and made payment to Assistant by cheque drawn on ICICI Bank No 804515 (He had written all particular on cheque including Credit Card No & Amount) on 01/04/2010.

                      Further to that on 07/05/2010 i came to know that nither the cheque got cleared nor the payment is reflecting in statement. I again got call from ICICI Bank's Executive and he informed me that my payment is still pending He again sent ICICI Bank's Assistant to my home and I immediatlly made Cash Payment of Rs. 3650/- on 08/05/2010 as no further charges get levied. Meanwhile i contacted to Customer Care Regarding the same and they said my charges will get reversed and cheque will be return to me by cheque. But still now i havn't had received cheque yet and charges are also not revised.

                      I compaint to Customer care and they clearly raise their hands up to reverse the charges.

                      Today my total outstanding came to Rs. 2600 (Aprox) Charges only.

                          I want to draw your kind attention that,

                          I was holding an ICICI bank EMI credit card of NO. [protected].

                          I got that card on 19th September 2008.Later I found that my card statement started from 4th September 2008. It should start from 19th September 2008, after the activation of the card. I also did not get the hard copy of that statement.

                          Later I found there is another no [protected].Then I asked the ICICI bank about that No. they have explained me that that is my credit card account no.

                          But initially I did not find any such no in my card statement as well as my credit card brochure.

                          That’s why I am attaching the scan copy of my credit card statement hard copy as well as the pdf format which I got later from ICICI bank.

                          I am also telling you that as it was an EMI card that means from the beginning I am getting the EMI facility of fixed Rs. 1000 according to the brochure given along with that credit card. But each and every month I when I got the card statement, they have never mentioned EMI of Rs. 1000. They have mentioned minimum amount due Rs. 2000.

                          Then I asked ICICI bank customer care about that, they have told me that in there record,

                          EMI has been mentioned of Rs. 2000.That means they are violating the brochure which I got along with the credit card. Then I told them to correct that, but they denied doing that.

                          After finding all these disputes I have stopped paying the dues, which is from the month of May 2009. I have also found they have charged some wrong interest in my card statement, which is violating the criteria of my credit card brochure that means the brochure which I got along with the credit card was absolutely meaningless.



                          Few months back I got a legal notice from the legal department of ICICI bank, there also I found my credit card no. is [protected], in that letter they have not mentioned my card no is [protected].

                          I think there must be something wrong from the ICICI bank. If proper investigation has been done against that, then I think the actual issue will be revealed.

                          I think they are matching with any other credit card with my credit card.
                          Please look into this matter strictly. I think I am get cheated by ICICI bank, because money is not easy task to earn. So why I will give unnecessary extra money to ICICI bank. Please check all these things, and suggest me suitable solution for that.
                          I have made a complaint against ICICI bank credit card in RBI Ombudsman on 4th August 2010 with the following complaint number [protected]. In reply of that RBI has given your mail ID and told me that I will get a call from your side.
                          But till now I did not receive any call from your side.
                          The another thing is that yesterday I got a call from the no [protected] the contact person was Ms. Anjali. She initially told me that I am holding two ICICI bank credit cards, with the following number [protected] and [protected]. But I strongly objected that I do not hold the card no [protected]. In reply to that she told me that I am lying. In the ICICI database these two card no has been registered in my name. I repeatedly denying about that I dont hold the card of the number [protected].Then she was trying to blackmail me that she will call my parents and tell them that I am cheating with ICICI bank and she will harass until and unless I do agree with her words.Then she connected another person named Sandip for this purpose,
                          I told him the detail about the issue, then he told me that actually the card [protected] was initially dispatched to my address and as I was not present in my home the card was returned back to ICICI bank mumbai office.Few days later they once again sent it to my address and once again it was return back to the office.
                          After that they prepared another card [protected] as a replacement of that card which I got actually on 19th September 2008 and as it was a replacement card so the account no of that card was [protected]. But these things were never intimated ever by ICICI bank officially.
                          I have never get any official mail, or letter or phone calls about that. If I am wrong then you please check it out from your call records, or database records.
                          The brochure I got with the card [protected] it was strictly mentioned that the fixed EMI is Rs. 1000.
                          But every month I got the EMI of Rs. 2000 in my credit card statement. In the credit card statement hard copy I have never found the no [protected] as my credit card account no. but in the email statement I found the no [protected] as my credit card account no.
                          Yesterday night when they called me and given me the explanation then I asked them to send me an official letter of this clarification/ explanation, but they refuses to do that. They told me these things are done only by telephonic discussion. So later how can I prove that these explanation was given to me?
                          I actually failed to pay the amount on January 2009. but the penalty or late payment charge was claimed from me on the basis of Rs. 2000 EMI not Rs. 1000 EMI.
                          and after that each month they were claiming late payment charge in my credit card statement. Then I called the customer care about that matter.
                          But they gave me wrong explanation. I repeatedly called them and mailed them, but each and every time they told me that I have to follow the Rs 2000. EMI as it was registered in ICICI bank database. So according to that the brochure which was sent along with the credit card was meaningless or valueless.
                          I want to solve this problem, but I did not get proper steps from your side. I repeatedly get threatening call from your side, that my intention is not to pay the dues.
                          But you will find till April 2009 I regularly paid the dues. I have also given you my contact no to discuss about that problem.
                          If these sort of disputes are there from your side then why should I pay for the wrong chargeable amount.When I did not get proper clarification or explanation from your side then I stopped paying my dues because money is not easy to earn.

                            We acknowledge receipt of your e-mail of August 19, 2010 addressed to Head Service Quality regarding your ICICI Bank Credit Card.

                            We reiterate that the 3 disputed transactions as confirmed from our records, has been effected on your subject Card. We would like to clarify, that the above transactions have undergone a 3D Secure Authentication, which is a second level authentication specifically built in for online transactions done through Merchant Websites. It may be noted, that apart from the Card Verification Value (CVV) and Expiry date on your Credit Card, your personal 6 digit 3D Secure PIN was also required for effecting the said transactions.

                            The 3D Secure PIN is purely personal and privacy to the customer and would not be known to anybody, unless compromised otherwise. The Card holder is responsible for the security of his/her Card along with his/her personal 3D Secure PIN and should therefore take all possible steps towards ensuring the safe-keeping thereof. The Bank does not incur any financial liability arising out of the misuse thereof by unauthorized persons.

                            We confirm, that the transactions were allowed as the system is CVV, Expiry Date and 3D PIN specific and not person specific.                               Recently I have done a NEFT fund transfer from ICICI bank. They passed on my mobile number to the other bank. After this I am getting calls from other bank on their products and services. I am really amazed how a bank can transmit their customer information to other bank.

                              When I asked ICICI bank, they said that sending mobile number or email ID of sender is mandatory while doing NEFT. I am surprised. ]

                                Sir,
                                I Gariban Kumar Mahto had applied for credit card in the year 2007.One of your person had come to me from your Rohini branch in year 2007. I told him that I am in hurrry so come tommorrow but he told me that sir you signed the form and give me all the document and I will fill up the form and I do that.After two three weeks when I called to your customercare to know about the status of my credit card for which I had applied replied me that your application has been rejected.

                                But now in August,2010 I received a call from your customercare executive/recorvery agent that you have a due of Rs35000/- of the transaction that I have not made when I not received card then how can I made the transactions. Sir I think that someone has made the creditcard in my name by using my documents which I gave to your agent.

                                Sir kindly confirm me that from where the transactions has been made and how you had got the payments of those transactions either in cash or by cheque. Sir your customercare/recovery agent is harrassing me on phone which I don't like these phone calls at all.

                                Sir please revert me as soon as possible so that it will come to know me that who is using creditcard of my name which I had never received and used.

                                If you will not be able to revert me soon or within a week then I will send this mail to your heads and also mark cc to Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

                                  I am an ex-employee of ICICI Bank ltd working on the payroll of Surabhi Development Projects Pvt. Ltd., from last 4 years.

                                  I have moved from ICICI bank's one DST to another DST as per the ICIC Bank management instruction.

                                  From last one year i am continue followup with the DST (Surabhi Development) to release my PF amount. But they are not submitting our withdrawal from into PF office....

                                  On 31 Aug.2010, a offer through SMS was received for the upgradation to Titanium Card. For the purpose, I was asked to conform by sending a SMS -
                                  UPG T to 5676766. Accordingly, SMS was sent on the same day. But till date, no response.

                                  Morever I wish to extend my Credit Limit on my Card. Can u help ? I tried through Customer Care No.,but failed.

                                    I had taken ICICI Home Loan in Nov 2005, when i had taken the loan the ROI was 7.5% in a span of 6 months the ROI increased to 8% in within a period of 6 years the ROI reached upto 13% when I visited the branch for foreclosing the loan as i want to transfer the loan to other bank. They said you make a payment of 0.5% of out standing amount n we will revise your ROI to 8.75%, and no guarantee if the ROI will increase again or reduce

                                    They are not using Base rate formula and apply dual policy for current loan holder and for new home loan customer

                                    I have a loan with ICICI bank since 1st January 2006, on a floating interest rate. At the beginning the Rate of Interest (ROI) was 7.5%. Soon interest rates started jumping and my current ROI is 12%. My tenure was increased from 15 years (180 installments) to 33 years (406 installments)!!! The principal amount was 22 lakhs payable at an EMI of INR 21, 000. But as per the new amortisation schedule, I have to pay 85 lakhs!!! Is this a joke?

                                    Almost every bank in India (as of now, November 2010) at an average, has a ROI = 8.5% for home loans

                                    My complaint is that ICICI bank is not reducing their rate of interest on my existing home loan. However, they are the first to INCREASE the ROI as soon as theer are some changes.

                                    I think the bank is cheating its customers. I am very close to having some other bank buy over my home loan and closing all my banking relations with ICICI!!!

                                    ICICI should take serious note and care about this issue, as I am not the only one and on this forum you can find complaints from several people with teh same issue.

                                    I too feel ICICI Home loan is not a fair deal. Rate revised from 7.75% in 2004 to
                                    13.75% last year. Earnings of a person may not increase then how will he pay EMI he may not eat simple roti also forget about balanced diet because even Govt. of India does not care about common man.
                                    Every now and then RBI increases the rates and gives chance to banks like ICICI
                                    to inflate their lending rates of interest.
                                    Foreclosure charges are baseless
