[Resolved]  ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — ICICI Prulife changes user passwords

I found another strange problems, security issues with ICICI group, now with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. It changes user passwords for online transactions, without user consent, which can lead to fraudulent transactions. It caused me major losses when I tried to switch my funds, as I noticed that I could not login to the website. Fortunately, I accidentally noticed an email notification to one of my old email addresses informing me of password change 'as per your request', got me a shock. I never asked for this. I got my password reset through ICICI. To my shock, a few days later I again could not login, and found the same problem. After it repeated, I registered complaint with ICICI Prulife finally. Here is the final response from ICICI:

There was a prompt inquiry, and this problem did not repeat again, however, I still had to bear all the losses.

In continuation to the interactions we had pertaining to the password being reset without your requisite for an initiation of the same in reference to your LifeTime (UIN: 105L013V01) policy number 00500268 with us please note that we have identified the individual and interrogate along with our investigations to help ascertain the reasons to reset the password.

Investigations revealed that your contract number was erroneously populated instead the customer requesting the same and hence even after the same was reset the details were mailed to you at your address.

We have initiated the necessary actionables and identified loopholes that we would undertake as a learning and help plug the same at the earliest.

I take this opportunity to thank you for highlighting the same to us. Instances such as this allow us the opportunity to identify our areas of improvement. In expressing our regret, you may be assured that we will take the necessary steps to avoid the chance of this situation arising in future.

Attention: To whoever concerned,

Sometime back in Karnataka, the print and electronic media published the atrocities/goondagiri of the ICICI staff in the process of collection of borrowed loans from its customers. As a victim to a similar type of harassment, I would like to write my experience during the purchase of ICICI PRUDENTIAL LIFE INSURANCE POLICY # 12726282 during October to December 2009 from Richmond Circle branch, Bangalore.
They contacted me for a policy and appointment was fixed. One employee Mr.Vinod R, phone numbers [protected], [protected], approached me in my house with an official visiting card. During the course of talk, I refused to give any information directly and will approach through an agent wherein I will be benefited by Rs 500 at 1% intcentive for Rs 50, 000 premium. Then he contacted Mr. Rajeev, phone number [protected], [protected] and he agreed for the deal and will be paid personally through Vinod R along with the policy, whereas the policy was delivered through Mr. Sharavana. When I contacted Mr Rajeev for the promised amount, he refused to talk to me over the phone. I tried through Mr. Praveen’s phone, though Mr. Rajeev was in his seat, he asked Mr.Sharavana to tell that he was not in his seat, which I could overhear. Even Mr. Praveen told me that he is not willing to talk to me, which was very unprofessional and rude. This scam was explained to Mr.Harish, the Manager. The entire episode has to be investigated and the guilty should be punished by the concerned higher up’s.

For medical examination also, being a senior citizen, they promised many things and they don’t bother to follow up. I took personal initiative to contact the concerned people and dispatched the report.

policy no; 8224524, with regard to this policy i have not given auto debit instruction, but co incidentaly for two times it was paid by Deutsch bank card. if such instructions are there kindly send the scan copy to to may mail. this is one part. further i do not want make payment by this card so kindly detach the instruction or cancel the instruction.inform for any action taken.

I have cancelled my pension policy No. 12952695 within the free look period and the reference No. 21882231. Since more than 4 months elapsed, I am yet to receive the premium I had paid. Please look into this matter and render justice.

ICICI Prudential — fraud by icici /icici group company

Dear

I am making this mail to complaint regarding misleading me by one of
icici prudential sales representive.

Last year the sales rep sold me one policy by saying that there is no
locking period for this policy and I can withdraw money any time.
But this year when I went to deposit the premium amount I inquired in the
branch about the policy amount and formality to withdraw the policy but I
was shocked when I came to know that I can't withdraw it till 10 year as 10
year is the minimum locking period for the policy.

It is really sad that ICICI prudential have these type of guys who misleads
the customer as I have deep faith in ICICI and have very good past
relationship.

Right now I am not interested to continua for the same so please let me know
how can I withdraw my money as I want to revert my policy

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — Refuse to partial withdrawal request

Dear Sir,

I am hold the lifetime policy with icici prudential as policy no : 02177429 from the last four year and as per the policy terms i can avail the partial amount windrow any time after the more than 3 year.

I am going to partial windrow first i chat with online customer care of icici and he told me you have to go to the any our branch to submit request and he give me one format.I am fill up all the document and attached supporting document but when i go to mundra branch they have refuse my claim and talk with me very vulgar language Also mundra branch manager not have sense about how to proceed it and say like " Jo ukhadna he vo ukhad lo" what type of way to talk? i am surprising that.
After that very next day i am going to jamnagar main branch and submit all require document but they also refuse my claim and says that the caliming format are change please fill up new format and go back again.now second time i tolk to customer care and says all the problems.he told me no any new format with us please go again branch.

Please do the needful.

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance — not clearing provident fund and other dues

i left icici prudential on 28/01/2010, but still now no provident fund and other dues have been cleared. my emp-id was 586221, desig nation - unit manager, agency east, pf no.586221,kharag pur branch.
I paid my premium online for policy number 08767900 on 31st mar 2010. But received receipt dated 29 Apr 2010. Now I have trouble accounting it in my IT returns filing. Kinldy help out.

Regarding your Policy Products I was informed through telephonically & in person your representative visited my home & after his detailing I selected your Mediclaim Policy to cover the medical expenses for my self alomgwith my wife, daughter & son & issued a check of Rs.30000/= alongwith the photographs of my family members to issue Mediclaim Identity Cards.
On 20/8/10 I received Policy Papers & after going through it, I find that the policy which you have send to me was never opted by me { i.e.Assure Pension Policy}, and at the last page of Application/Proposal form the existing signature is not mine, who has done this mischief ?
In this way without obtaining my consent this decision of changing the Policy Plan was absolutely yours ? for which I am not Agree.
Therefore, kindly transfer my premium amount of Rs.30000/= directly into my State Bank Of India {Main Branch}, Lucknow S.B.A/C No:[protected] (IFS Code : SBIN0000125) or through cheque/draft whichever you may feel convenient.
I hope that without any delay you will take action in refunding my Premium Amount.So that I may not feel the need of help by IDRA Complaint cell.
On 21/8/10 your above Policy Papers in ( Original ) has already dispatched by me through "First Flight Couriers" bearing consignment no.J80867366, which might be reaching to your office positively by 23 or 24th Aug. 2010
