[Resolved]  ICICIcredit Card — Reward points transferred to Imint program

I was shocked to check my last month's credit card says I've redeemed all my points! When contacted ICICI Call centre they are saying all the points have been transfered to imint...without any intimation to me! Its very dissapointing to see that a leading bank which claims to be customer-service oriented works in a such pathetic way. I feel this imint program is a pure waste and just another way to sqeeze money from the customers. I suggest ICICI Bank should withdraw this program and should continue with their own program of redeeming points.

I fully agree with this complaint . I suggest Ithat CICI Bank should encash the reward points earned before transferring to Imint account by giving credit in the card account. Fresh points earned may be transferred to Imint after giving pre information to the card holder, in case it is the banks policy.
S u r right.The cost of the product and imint points spent for that cannot be compared.ICICI should have taken the customer opinion before doing this

ICICIcredit Card — Card Settlement Defaulted by the Bank

I used to hold an ICICI credit card since late 2007. I found the charges way too high because of which I stopped using the same since August 2008. In december I decided to settle the card as ICICI card dept was adding on late payment and finance charges into my card at an aggresive rate (had become 18000 or so for a minimal amount i had used) for a card i was not intending to use. But before i could contact the bank and do the paper work for closure they sealed my ICICI savings account, which was also my salary account without informing me, which put me into a very difficult state, I do not know id the Card Dept has such rights to seal my salary account without informing me.

Further I contacted the bank and asked for an immideate settlement as I had no further interest in pursuing with the card. They withdrew all the cash I had in my account, close to[protected] from my account for settlement. Neither did they communicate anything to me further to that noe provide any settlement documents. And in another mont's time i started getting more montly statements, and i tried contacting them regarding this. Later i started recieving calls from the collection team stating that I still owe another 2500 towards the bank as my settlement was not complete, the justification or calculation for which I still havent recieved so far. Yet i assured i will do so as i had no intention o[censored]sing the card anymore. The day after I paid the balance 2500 from ym savings account towards the ICICI Credit card, they put another seal on my account stating that i have defaulted again and withdrew 3000 odd in cash and states that I still owe another 6000 plus to ICICI.

Please note that I have already paid 15000 to ICICI card for a minimal usage I had done, and have been subjected to repeated harrasment and humiliation duirng extremely tense official hours for over months now. Besides that please note that I havent used the above said card since august 2008, almost a year now.

I spend almost 500 rs pf mine while on roaming last week trying to make the ICICI dept understand the situation, and when he wasnt listening I told him that the only option left with me is to break all ties with ICICI and even stop using my salary account and file a case against them in consumer court, but as I am just an ordinary citizen with no moral or legal power compared to a company like ICICI, they ridiculed me over the phone.
I think this is a deplorable move on the part of ICICI banck and an anti-cosumer move.

I was very happy with ICICI reward points programme earlier and seriously think ow whether I shoudl continue with them or move to other better cards.

ICICIcredit Card — Cheating

I had take a credit card from ICICI in the year 2007, I had swiped my card for Rs. 49000 at country club with which ICICI bank had a link and was told i will not be charged any interest and processing fees etc. But even after that i was charged everything, in a span of 2 months, i cleared the amount but still i would get statements telling i had to pay some amount, a few months later i have payed the amount and closed my card, and got my full and final settlement letter. But after that the bank has sent my name to CIBIL for no fault of mine, when asked the bank representatives tell they have not sent it, but in my records while applying for loan this card reflects in CIBIL. This clearly cut shows how ICICI bank is cheating and giving false promises to their customers.

Credit Card — transfering reward points.

with regards to you imint point transfer from the original reward points, I am unable to understand the new system introduced.is it giving any additional benifit to the card holders or a new introduction to deprive the facility of the card holders.What is the benifit of transfering rewards to imint points.is it more convenient to the company ?if so please explain in detail.
Yes, really lootmaar from ICICI reg transfer of reward points to imint.com
It is very difficult to get product from imint.com, it is very costly than the market price.

I also request ICICI to cancel this imint reward system and continue with old reward point.

ICICIcredit Card — transaction made by someone

i have a gold credit card no.[protected] of icici bank. but

someone made a two transaction on[protected] through paypal

cx100cvd.2426.27 & 2323.02 . i receaved the message at 1.49 pm i

complained on customer care at 2.50pm and also blocked the card the

complaint no. is sr83921459 but no action taken by bank. i

complained many times the nos. are sr93362688 sr96880821 sr98429431

. many times the given amount credited and debited in my acount. i

complained about it so many times but there is no response .i want

that bank take strict action in my case and try to solve as soon as

possible .i am an honest customer. kindly capture the fraud . as

soon as possible. the amount is going high due to intrest . please

Yes Sir, I was totally befooled by this clandestine move. I was planning to transfer these points to Air India flying return add on points, when suddenly I was given this raw deal, without even intimating me. I don't know what to do. Can anyone suggest.

ICICIcredit Card — ICICI Bank had unofficialy leaned my Saving Account

Hi,

ICICI bank had leaned my saving account which is in ICICI Bank without my information. Today I will be going to Doctor and check-up my BP problem. I am not withdrawning the cash from ATM centre for my urgent requirement.

I was using the credit card of this bank.I was holding the first time credit card user but Customer care executive not provide me more information about Credit Card.i.e late fee, service charges, interest charges.I had paid my full exact payment which was purchased through credit card and again-again called up to customer care that I can not pay your additional charges, please remove this additional charges into next statement, they told me that you will be pay your exact payment and next time these additional charges not mentioned in your statement, but next time I got the statement with additional charges.

Please go through my previous mail, which is posted today on dated 23/06/09. I was cancelled the credit card ([protected]) in august 2008.

If you do something for me related to this matter, I will be thanksful to you.

ICICIcredit Card — Rewards Points

ICICI bank transferred all the rewards points to I Mint, without taking any consent. This is very disappointing to see that ICICI bank is taking such decisions without informing the customers. Another shock was to see the reqards point redemption offer. You to pay whooping 3500 points for Rs. 1000 apprel voucher.

Am Dhijai. M.G working with Vodafone writing this mail with great pain, being your customer for almost 3 years holding the salary account yesterday my account got blocked without any intimation. Later came to know that this was related to my pending amount in the credit card bearing number -[protected].Am using this credit card for almost 4 years now and my track of payment went on fine but since last 7 months was not able to make payments regular since I had a major financial crisis as I was hospitalized for a surgery on my right knee. But had requested for settlement couple of months back when contacted by the collection executive .They were just beating around the bush saying pay the minimum due your settlement will be made later but I was adamant to settle it rather than prolonging the same .They in fact dint contact me later and yesterday without my notice they blocked my account saying whatever the salary credited would be taken to credit card account. Had consulted the call centre even they are adamant on the same and said RBI has given them the authority to do so.

Am ready for the settlement of Rs 60000/- give me 2 installments installments if not more. If you actually see I would have paid over and above the used amount in these three years as interest by paying the minimum due .if they take the full amount from the salary how will I survive the month and I do not have single check bounce in my account, there are ECS which hits on first week of the month and if it bounces due to your blocking who will be held responsible. And I repeat this was not my fault alone I had requested for settlement and delay was from your end .It is ridiculous act that without intimating and without my authority how could the bank operate my savings account.

Collection guys knows my office also had given the residence address at least one intimation on the same would not have lead to this activity. It is very sad that you treat your account holder in such a pathetic manner. I have never thought to change my account despite been transferred to Kerala from Bangalore. Now this account is giving me an insecure feeling that my account is not safe with ICICI. I was not a fraud ran away from you . I intimated the bank once I was transferred and even updated my mobile number to the collection guys, if I were to be a fraud I would have changed my salary account and would not have updated my current details ….please do understand that. Agreed could not make payment for 7 months but had genuine reason for that, I know that bank need not know the customer’s problem when they have liability on him .MY only concern is intimating me before such a cruel act. Am also taking this to my corporate Vodafone who have provided me this account as to know why I do not have control on my savings account. If I remember I have not signed any form which gives bank to authorize my account without consent

I urge you to please give me a concrete solution on this and would want to settle this immediately……

Similar thing happened to Me too unauthorized transaction has been made on my Credit card on October 27, 2007; Value : Rs 8272 /- Transaction details mentioned is ESEVA- EPAYMENTS HYDRABHYDERABAD IND .request # SR 44377743. . But till date there is no resolution on the same . After several followup i received call from ICICI Bank for payment, once they asked for submitting settlement request i need to pay Rs.2000 which I paid off . After which the card amount kept on multiplying . After followup for 3 months received a call from executive from Andheri East Branch assuring settlement and she told me that i need to pay 10, 000 which i paid on the same day . But didn't receive settlement letter from her . Have gone and met up with ICICI official in Andheri east on 19th of July, 2008 he informed me that as this is a Amex card when ICICI took over Amex they haven't got proper update on their customers and he will get back to me in 7 days, After which i received a call after a week from some lady and she asked me to mail her the dispute letter, Which i did immediately. But again total silence no response, tried calling the official whom i had met up with but he didnt seem to be having any update on the same . In the month of Nov 2008 they withdrew 10, 000 from my savings account without my knowledge . Again no response on the same . I receive statement which shows the amount keeps on Multiplying . In all i have paid more then 22000 on my card after disputing the transaction .

I am very much frustated and dissatisfied from the services of icici credit cards (rewards point).
I am holding 4-5 icici credit cards including platinum, gold, silver, amex and virtual.
From last 1 year, i ried to redeem points but only 1-2 items (waste) available for me, every time your customer care told to wait.

Issue -- Now i got to know that all my cards are having main card as Amex type, and for that reason i can redeem only 2-3 items but simple gold and platinum holders can get a big list of items.

I go through some conversation with customer care they are not ready to help and even they suggest to cancel all these cards and freshly apply for paltinum if i want. They even not ready to issue imint card on top of my any credit cards.


Finally i registered complain -- SR[protected], with one hour long call your customer care people give me the resolution by sending me 'Gold Card Gift List'. When i got list i having 6-7 items only.
I tried to call customer care again and want to order one item from list, and again customer care people told that they will not give this gift to me, i give all refernce of complin also but they refused to give gift.

Now i want one staight answer, you people will give that or not ??? if not i happily want to cancel my all cards, and update the same to my company HR so thay will take care next ... b

becuase the feeling is that .. you don't care customer----i am having 4k+ points .., done 4-5 lacs tarnsaction per year...and ... my friend with simple gold card will getting all gifts but not me... its ridiculous...
