I want to draw your kind attention about the service of Idea prepaid connection regarding Gprs service.
I was using the 5 rupees daily rental plan for few four to five month. Before one week(18 Feb 2008) I received a call from customer care offering the 20 rupees daily rental Gprs service with lots of benefits with this. I refused for this service Because I had already this type of Gprs service. But suddenly from next day I have been charged 20 rupees for this service instead of 5 rupees means They activated the 20rs Daily rental plan. I called to customer care regarding this many times. But they are denying to active my previous service by saying that 5rs daily rental plan has been closed. I am fad up from this. I have not much money to use for gprs service. Tell me How can I get solve this problem. I need my privious service. Idea care are not solving my problem. Instead of solving my problem The are deducting 20 rupees every day. What to do....

I am Deep my no. is [protected]. I am a prepaid customer of Idea Celluler. I have taken a scheme from CITI bank to recharge my mobile by just sending a SMS to 5789140. But i am unable to SMS to this number. when i am SMSing to this number it shows "Check Operator Services". I have asked customer care officer so many times but they are unable to resolve. And its really very disgusting not reponding well. Really I have fed up with this disgusting services.If you want you can check our conversation to know how they responed.
I am using Idea Celluer since 05 but now i don't want to use it any more if it not improving. I am spending 1000 rupee every mont for recharge.
So if it is possible, please mail me solution as soon as possible.

sir my idea no. is [protected] and outgoing facility of this prepaid sim has been stopped since 1 month & also i supposed to give roming charges inside u.p. so kindly unblock my outgoing as soon as possible

I have an idea post paid connection No.[protected], on 14.02.08 my SIM was blocked and I went to change that SIM at your Idea centre at Fateh Nagar, Jail Road New delhi -18 where your one Executive advised us take one ADON No. it is free and only you have to pay Rs.99 per month and the same is of talk value. I applied for ADON No.[protected] he issued me that ADON NO. but that number did not activate after seven days then I again visited to your same Centre at Jail Road on 24.02.08 but one executive sitting at the billing sit told me that I issued to you a new ADON number i.e [protected] to you it will definitely activated within 48 hours but the same story has been repeated. I again visited your Idea Centre at JAil Road, New Delhi on 02.03.08 they again told me we will issue one new number against your ADON SIM. Even then I got message from Customer Care that your activation has been started and address inquiry has also been done on phone. This Jail Road centre people make the customer fool

Kindly let me clear whether Customer should go piller to post for one number from your company and this shows the Ideas service is of the poorest of poor ( When I got the connection that time they also beytrayed).

THEREFORE I WENT TO RETAILER HE TOLD THE ISSUUE CAN BE SOLVED BY IDEA PEOPLE AS HE SAID HE GAVE ME THE SEALED VOUCHER THAT HE RECEIVED BY YOU IDEA PEOPLE AND HE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSING SIM AS HE GAVE TO ME SEALED VOUCHER SO I DONT KNOW PACKING OR SOMETHING FROM YOURS SIDE IS RESPONSIBLE.

Man!! Idea TOTALLY SUCKS BIG TIME!!!

I had their unlimited GPRS usage plan for Rs. 5/- per day!!
And suddenly they start charging me for data transfer without any notice and my balance went into negative digits!!!

Also, they used to send CRAPload of spam sms'es nd abot 10 automated calls a day!!!
I had to install a call rejecting software on my mobile to reject their calls!!

IDEA CELLULAR(C for crap!!)!.. U GUYS TOTALLY SUCK!!!

I'll never ever, ever,ever recommend idea to any one!!!

I myself am switching to AirTel!! Their service rocks!! Also the customer care people there r really helpful!
I would recommend u guys, who r having problems with idea(=)!! should switch over to AirTel!! u guys won't regret it!!

I am trying to connect customer care from morning around 9AM ..still it is saying lines are busy...This is really wasting my valuable time and also irritating ...Sometimes it happens that call is connect, care executive is not ready talk with me and sometimes care executive talk with me but, in between he/she say halt call but he/she halt call up to 15 or 20 minute so, this is one type of my valuable time wasting time.

My problem is ...a default idea dialler/caller tone is activated without my knowledge...and some amount (say 30Rs) is charging for that tone...i want to deactivate this service first...or else tell me procedure to change the dialler/caller tone...

It is very difficult to get Customer Care Officer... Please do the needful.
