[Resolved]  Idea Cellular Prepaid — deduction of money without customers knowledge

dear sir,

1. I have tried to register a complaint against idea cellular service, but the customer care is not registering it.
2.From last two month(March and April, 2010), Idea cellular service is deducting money for the sms packs which I never activeted. When I tried to complaint, customer care is not registering it.
3. When I told the person from customer care, I would like to talk to senior executive, that person has dropped the call.
4. Please help me to refund the deducted money.

Idea Cellular — deduction of balance and customer executive not sending request against it

and after i called customer care executive and he said you have downloaded a image and i had not downloaded any image infact not used internet of idea. i said customer care executive to send a request for this but he declined. strictly action against it should be taken and amount of Rs5/- with compenastion of Rs.11,00,000 should be given because what will happen if someone in emergency ,how he will call anyone if they deduct balance like this

Idea — Balance Deduction by the company itself

I am using an IDEA prepaid number & recharged the same with Rs. 150 on 16th May 2011. Idea itself deducted Rs.70 from my account balance. When I complaint about the same in IDEA customer care, the executive told me to shotout the problem by 18th May morning but when I again contacted in customer on 18th May afternoon they told me that it will be shotout by 10 AM of 19th May.
When I contacted again in IDEA customer care the executed disconnected the call in between without giving me a satisfactory solution. After this I again dialled the IDEA customer care & this time the guy there told me to contact after 04 hours. I requested him to let me speak with some of his senior but there was not any satisfactory solution with them.
Bad experience with Idea.
I wanna file a case in consumer court now against IDEA.

sir, my name s meraz ahmad, i'm having connection of idea (mbile service provider) since 2008, on 23/05/2011 they have deducted 50 rs from my balance, and when i demanded the cause of it, i did not got any responses, more over when i asket them for the clarification , the customer care executive (mr. jitendra) was threatning me, all these has made me fred up, now i'm planning to change my no, buut before that i want to teach them the leasson of discipline.
i dont know why the hell idea is trying to add new customers, if it s not being handle its older ones.
i really need help.
i purchase a voucher of ammount 30/-rs but i am anable to recharge because when i am entering the recharge no its show the message that voucher is blocked i allready call to customer care he told me it will be recharge within 24 hours but still i am anable to recharge my voucher serial no is [protected].plz fix my problem from last 5 days i am anable to recharge.

I am using Idea Mobile No.[protected] (Name Deepak Verma) Mithapur, Since last 5 year 4 months. I am facing problem of deduction of amount after recharging. The concern informs that you are having GPRS facility due to which amount is deducted.

I Lodge the complaint on Idea toll free numbers. Authorized person told me that your complaint cannot be lodged. 7 to 9 times I contacted for complaint Idea customer care service center.. I request to your customer service authorized staff. Many times your customer service personnel's are harassing on my mobile number. I give complaint a copy of Grahak Sureksha at Jamnagar Your Idea Cellular service is very worst service other network. We are 700 to 850 group using Idea connection which we may discontinue due to no quick response from your side.

We are not aware of such facility hence request to inform the concern office not to deduct any amount after recharging in future and stop GPRS facility in above mobile number.

On 27 & 28th May 2011 an amount of Rs.60+45+15 = Total Rs.120/= is deducted without any information to us.

Earlier 2 years before I lodge the complaint 3 to 4 times for the same & at that time amount was reimbursed on same day credit on my mobile add balance.

Please take the necessary action & reimburse the amount at the earliest.

Hi, This is Mohd Dawood Ali from Hyderabad, and my cell no. is [protected]. My complaint is, yesterday I got dialer tone activated that I didn't ever want to choose this pack. And even I didn't send any request to activate a dialer tone then, how it was activated? It's activated from your side, not my side and I lost my money. So, what you people are doing I don't know. Let me know, are you people just playing with customers, you're just trying to steal the money from Customers. You people are just forcing us to change the card. It's not the first time, it happened so many times to me. See, I'm a Muslim, then why I used to choose Telugu DT, you people are just playing with customers. So, I just want to say, please don't force us to change the card or network to other network. So, please refund my money back to my account. And I'm saying you once again I want my money back otherwise then see what I can do. And once again I'm reminding you, don't repeat this once again and don't force me to do any wrong thing or using bad words.

Idea — deduction of money without information

My idea mobile no. is [protected]. idae activated the service 'idea music station' without any information. I have already deactivated this service three times as guided by idea customer care officer. But still idea deduct money every month without providing any information to me by message or by any other communication.

similar incidence happened with me...
my mobile number is also a prepaid, lifetime sim card purchased in 2006, i use to recharge it regularly, but in between what happened idea all of a sudden started deducting Rs.1.5 everyday, for this i even lodeged a complaint with 4444 and i got assurance that now it will not be deducted..but even after the story continued ..and one day i got fed up and stopped recharging it...some days passed like that and then one day i received message that my documents are not updated and need to submit it again and my number is deactivated...i submitted the required docs to nearest idea outlet center and i was told within 48 workin hours my number will be activated...not its almost 11 days passed and when i inquired with the idea retailed why my mobile is yet not activated ?? i was told that the same number is no longer on my name but it is recycled and transfered to some other person name..i was shocked to listen to this ..so i again callled to 4444..here i was told that the number is still on my nae and it's not transfered to other person...but when i narrated the earlier story from retailer to 4444 they simply denied and said the retailer is lying and pl.go to retailer and call from there on 4444 and we will solve the matter...again i went to the retailer but waht to my surprise there was huge conflict between the 4444 guy and retailer...finally retailer is saying my mobile number is not on my name and the 4444 guy is saying number is activated and it's on my name...but when i dial a number it is saying the services to this number are on hold temprarily...

I really do not know where exactly is the problem and whether Idea cellular is not keen and responsible enough to do the businness..

guys i want to tell you if you face simillar harrassment i think instead of running behind them pl. switch to other service provider, even i will be doing this if withing 2-3 dyas these guys did not respond to me...

I am a prepaid customer for idea cellular since long time about four years.
I am really fed up with customer care service.Since two months 30Rs has been deducted from my account without my knowledge for voice chat service which i have never activated at all.Last month when i called up the customer care they replied telling it cannot be refunded bcoz as i called them after 24hrs of deduction and they can only help me in its deactivation.But this month also it has got again activated and agian 30Rs has been deducted from my account.Why the hell its is getting activating again and again without my knowledge????From past five days i have been lodging complaint regarding this to customer care service but they been just extending the time for refunding.It is your mistake for mistakenly activating this bloody voice chat service on my phone as you are getting benefits by deducting my money.

So i kindly request you to refund my money back as early as possible and also see to it that this bloody voice chat service doesn't get activate again or otherwise you are losing a customer whose recharges 1500Rs per month!!!

Can u tell me which sim card number is faulty. I already paid for 2 sim cards first was MNP sim and second normal sim I took when same mail came to me from custome...r care. I paid rs 19 first time and rs 75 next time. I want to be 100% sure that there is some issue with sims not with company network and technology so pls tell me sim card no that u thinks faulty. Just for your knowledge your idea showroom guys(Sector 3 Rohini Delhi) has no interest in helping customers they just say we can't do anything we can just send email.

I m using idea per paid sim from past 1 month. i recived one msg from idea 25 july 2011, msg is your document not submit, please submit your document. i submit my document 27 july 2011 in idea office, but 1 month later my customer service (12345), ([protected]). is not start and response your document not submit. i call complaint helpline no. 198 but he did not solve this problem. please solve this problem.This is really wasting my valuable time and also irritating.

Zonel Manager Vivek Sharma is very corrupt and dishonest fellow .His behaviour is very rude towards those fellows who are associated with Idea.Yesterday i.e.[protected] Vivek called me (prashant) for dealership of Basrehar block district Etawah and at the last moment he refused me saying that you are not competent for dealership.
Regarding my competency I would like to brief my candidature as under
1. I am young graduate and well wersed with computer and Internet Knowledge.
2. I am running jan Seva Kendra under the E-businness Govt. policy at Basrehar block Etawah.
3. Previously I worked with Prestigious Company as “C.M.S, I Ball and Bajaj alliances sector of marketing.

Three or Four days before a loot of Rs 50 thousand of collected money of Idea was caused with the help of Mr. Suneel. The reputation of social image of suneel is not very good in society.
Zonel Manager Mr.vivek is doing work of Idea in he own manner which may damage business and marketing of idea.

Idea Pre-paid — Deduction of money

Dear Concern,

Please note that, my no. [protected] which is an MNP no. has some problem o[censored]nnecessary money deduction and also the balance updation ..


Note that, as told by your operator, i have done the recharge of Rs.105, which is not reflecting in my balance..

Further, the balance is reduced to 6 pcs.. so i can not even talk to your operators, i have done another 35 rs. recharge to talk to them, again it is not reflecting in my balance..

Now, how stupid is that.. Please take note of the problem immediately, and resolve the problem.

This is a bad experience with Idea.. And you do not underestimate the implications and consequences of that.. i need not elaborate..Please tell me how you can help me..

Hello Sir,
I am Yogesh Kulkarni. My Idea prepaid number is [protected]. On 24 Oct. 2011 Idea activated dialer tone service on my number without my any input. When I called customer care they told me that I had processed the request for same but in actual I didnt applied for dialer tone subscription. Now they have diabled my dialer tone subscription and told me that I will get my refund of rupees 45 in 48 working hours.
