[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — Service persons not attending

My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in chennai.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine,The manager at Chennai is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

I m very shocked to see so many posts regarding not attending the calls of complaints . Also no one taking any positive actions regarding solving upon all these problems & making the customers happy by attending the complaints in time. No highier authirities are bothered about customers then why are you not closing the sale of the machienes. Why are you keeping people in dark?

IFB Fully Digital Front Load Washing Machine6 Kg — machine thermostat and digital gadgets not working, no clothes being washed

i bought this fully digital completely automatic machine at chandigarh, now after an year i am shifted to Lucknow. surprisingly the customer care officials in lucknow are dumb. three visits have been made by company officials in the past 3 weeks after repeated reminders but to our disgust each time the machine detoriates still further. moreover the technicians say that in lucknow nobody has purchased this machine and they have not been trained on this machine. they even dont know how to put the machine on testing mode. each time they come they open it and then are blank, even they dont know the functions. if this is the status of IFB today what should i say. currently i am working as an assistant professor in Urology and Kidney transplant surgeon at SGPGI, and my wife too is busy in the hospital still we take out time to manage whenever these guys come but the fault is not been corrected. gods sake the machine is still in the warranty period otherwise they would keep on charging money. My God What is this . i want to change the whole machine.
My permanent customerID number is - 1881081. Complaint registered on 05 Oct '09 and complaint number is 3582300. It is more than 4 days now and so far no technician has come to take a look. I have had many con calls with zonal, regional managers and yet the technician doesn't show up. Also conviniently they keep their cell phones switched off. I will wait for another day and then will file a petition in the consumer forum that my problem is not being addressed. I have also bought a 2 yr extra warranty. I have been duped into believing that the IFB services are good and prompt.

I never faced this kind of issue with my previous washing machine - a videocon fuzzy logic. Also their customer service was very prompt. I am baffled that IFB having such a reputed name will stoop down to this level. The customer complaint section is a big joke.
I have booked complaint twice for IFB washing machine. Problem is : Leakage at the bottom of the machine. No response for the past 20 days.
I have purchased a IFB wahing machine senator madel in the year 2006. Now it is under repair. I informed the service person through supplier. Immediately a person came and examined the machine and told me that drum to be replaced. Since then I have tried more than 200 times to contact over phone but very rearly i use to get response that to it will be done the next day/ next week. After two months I made a compalin to Chennai Executive he told there was no complaint registration. He assured me and arranged a person Mr. senthilkumar, Pondicherry to sortout the problem. He also rearly responses to my call and tells it will be done in 2- 3 days. Again i complained to Bangalore customer care centre. he also assued me and connected me to Arthi, Pondicherry She also promised to get it repaired the next day just like the others did ! As usual no one turned up to repair the machine. I will strongly recommend not to buy IFB products. because "IFB HAS THE WORST SERVICE STANDARDS".

AFTER 4 MONTH PERIOD WE COULD NOT GET A PERSON TO REPAIR. ALLWAYS SPARE IS NOT AVAILABLE.
i am realy suffering very much bcz of the IFB.despite of amc no body is bothering my complaints, even in 24 hrs call center no body is picking the phone. ur service is realy very very poor, now i am going to do legal proceeding as no other option is left.
I have complained for my IFB washing machine on 10.10.09 but nobody came to check it
NO ONE SHOULD PURCHASE IFB PRODUCTS WHETHER IT IS WASHING MACHIEN OR MICROWAVE OVEN. TILL IT IS SOLD, THE COMPANY WILL GIVE LOT O[censored]NDERTAKINGS AND ONCE THE PRODUCT REACHES THE CUSTOMER'S HAND, NONE ONE WILL TURN UP. SERVICE AT CHENNAI IS SO POOR AND THERE IS NO CONTACT DETAILS AVAILABLE TO REACH THE HIGHER UPS. YOU HAVE TO THROW IT OR KEEP IT ASIDE AND BUY ANOTHER BRAND AND USE IT AND THE MONEY YOU SPEND ON IFB BECOMES A CRIMINAL WASTE. THE COMPANY IS NOT BOTHERED ABOUT THE CUSTOMER OR AFTER SALES SERVICE. ONCE MACHINE IS SOLD, THEIR WORK IS OVER. NOW IT IS UP TO THE CUSTOMER TO HANDLE IT WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDER.
I have the IFB machine under 2 year AMC. In July 20009 the machine stopped washing clothes. Vide complain No. 3310722 the complaint was registerd on 28th July 2009.. The machine is still faulty. The service people promiss to attend to call but do not turn up. I do not recommend to anyone this machine since the service is not provided promptly which is a very important factor to decide on a product in this competitive world.

I am also a victim of IFB customer care. I am at Pune. I have been following up with IFB customer care and servise for atleast last 10-15 days but no one is attending the complaint.
I think we should write it to company.
My customer code being 1978666. I bought one IFB ELEENA DX 5.5 k.g on 18/08/2009, same was fuctioning defectively by raising noise of the motor unnaturally and soap water was being oozing out. Complaint was made on 1/10/2009, no one is attending till date. My complaint no. is 3566182 till date.
I had written 3 times earlier in theis blog but of no use. They had asked for contact No. but so far no one rang up or visited my house for repair. NO ONE SHOULD BUY ANY IFB RODUCT BY SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY AND OF NO USE. Either these compaints are not reaching the top officials of IFB or they are lest bothered about the complaints. once machine is sold and got their money from the customer, they do not have to worry about it, only the customer'sworry starts with the purchase of IFb products. If no response is coming after writing in this forum, what is the idea of this writings.

they do not send mechanic and if he comes if first insist on getting AMC. these people are from franchise. they insist on getting it repaird through their 'personal' service rather than company's service. they are not ready to provide genuine spare parts. if we do not agree to their 'private services' they go away by making an excuse and never come back.
I bought top loading automatic m/c some two month back.Few days back there was some sparking in machine.I lodged a complaint with customer care oon 12 oct..Service engineer came after 2 days nad said there is no sparking so you can use it.He didnt check the reason of sparking.Today when my wife was using machine, it got fire.All plastic body was burnt.Then i lodged a complaint, they said that they will come about 4.0PM.Now tell me who will we responcible if some mishappening takes place.Ibought up this machine on base of IFB name only while my family is insisting on L.G.Now you are requested to look into matter and do needful.

IFB Washing Machine — vibration and sounds

The machine vibrates a lot due to which is there is too much of sound.This problem never occurred before.Other functioning of the machine is normal.Please sugest what the problem may be and how is it possible to reduce.
