[Resolved]  Indian Railway — Miss management at AC coaches

In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

As the citizen I would like to bring to your notice that "KAMAKHYA EXPRESS"running from varanasi to gandhidham does't have the facility of charging the mobile in AC coaches. The attendent there are exploiting the the passangers the are charging the mobile at rs 20/- per individual. we have faced this problem on 31-10-09.

I would like to request you to have a pentry car in this train because the route is to long. Please do the needful againgt the exploitation of passangers.

ON 2nd of NOVEMBER, 2009 I WAS TRAVELLING with my wife and two kids BY 2003/ lko Swarn Shatabdi from Kanpur to Delhi seat no 42, 47, 48, 62 C9 found worst experience, three passenger sitting near to me seat no 35, 36, 37 C9 coach First drink liquor whisky and one waiter name Ajit Yadav supplied water and extra salad to them help them to take liquor, After that when food is given to all, waiter refused me to give me dinner when I asked him 3 passengers started abusing me and said how you dare to take non veg in front of me and they instructed waiter Mr. Ajit yadav not to serve non veg to me, I complaint to TT name Mr. Updhayaya cnb/ cb / and Md firoz care taker of mess in charge then waiter supplied meal to me when I started to take meal all three passenger shouted to me and one of them threatened me and suddenly slapped me I also protected myself and my family, finally I made written complaint to complaint book page no 3 and 4 . on dt 2.11.2009 same time, I contacted again TT, meal care taker Mr Md firoz and two (U.P GRP Police name Jamil Ahmed and Bagesh mishra ) I explained every thing to all concern authorities I show them Empty liquor bottle laying under seat no 35 36 37 in coach no C9, after I reached Delhi station GRP police suddenly changed and told me to come in police station but my children were very much afraid and the time was midnight..i was not satisfied with GRP attitude taken favor to those drunken 3 passengers . when I made complaint in book and few passengers also was witness that time GRP police should take action that time.
So finally I finished matter returned my complain paper on pressure of GRP police and free all three passengers and returned with all worst experience I Am an NRI Staying in Abroad gulf region came to India after 3 yrs found very bad experience of Indian railways, kindly look into this matter and asked GRP police for their bad behavior. why they even not checked those passengers who Drink liquor and disturbed me and, my family and all others.
I request you please don’t disturb me while doing investigation, you will find all detail in complaint book page no 3 and 4 this is just for your information for safety and secure of passengers in repudiated train.

I was travelling from Allhabad to Patna by 3112 Lal Quila Express.(running from Delhi to Sealdah) in the AC3 coach (No. 01123) on 23.10.09.
This Coach was not having the minimum facilities to be provided to the traveller for which Railway charges.
No curtains, Seats were in bad condition, Mirros were broken, Mobile charging points were not working, Toilets were in very poor condition were saying 'Do Not Use', The linen supplied with Bed Roll were not properly cleaned nor packed and many more.
One good thing I found that on person was available for cleaning of coach floors window glassess etc.

The Railway should look in to the above and take proper action, otherwise it has no right to charge extra for AC coach.

We have already issued Reminder No. 1, 2 & 3 dt. 05.06.09, 17.07.09 & 14.08.09 to concerned railway to chase up the case. But despite reminder refund yet not received from the concerned railway. Now we are sending a Reminder No. 4 dt. 05.11.09 with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway to chase up the cases. As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account.

Hello,
A ticket bearing PNR no[protected] dated 04-May-2008 and ticket no 12044076 with From Station as : Mumbai CST, Boarding point- Pune and To Station: Bhubaneswar was not utilised because of non confirmation of Berth.

As the train had already departed mumbai station cancellation of ticket from boarding point was not possible and hence a written confirmation was taken from station master on the ticket itself for the cancellation through TDR on 4-May-2008 itself. A TDR with Receipt No 405104 was raised on 12-May-2008 ( the delay in raising the TDR was because the TDR forms were not available with the station master) at pune station and sent to CCM refund, 2nd floor, CSTM Central RLY, Mumbai, through Registered Post bearing no A 8432 on 13-May-2008. The registered post contained the original ticket attested by Station master for cancellation on 4-May-2008, Original TDR and its carbon copy.

Now it has been more than 1.5 years the refund is yet to be received by me despite multiple reminder to the CCM through normal and registered post. The ticket amount was Rs 1888/- and i have spent almost Rs 400 for the follow ups.

Please expedite for enhancing the faith on the Railways.

Awating a Refunf at the earliest.

Indian Railway — SNATCHING AWAY OF GOLD ORNAMENTS, GOVT ISSUED DOC. OTHER VALUABLS.

I have boarded train 5646 ( GHY LTT EXP ) with my family from Guwahaty on 01/11/09 to travel to Mumbai. with RAC TICKET in Sleeper class. ( S-2 RAC 7,7 & 15 )
After KAHALGOAN stn while the train was still running a thiet had snatched away a lady hand bag from my wife's hand- containing Gold Ornaments, Govt. Document( CDC -issued by Dir. Gen of Shipping), ATM cards, Mobiles, Spect, House keys, Expensive Amway products, Train Tickets, and some other valuable papers as well. All hppened in few seconds in broad daylight in afternoon and thief jumped out.

Immediately Trains alarm was pulled but train did not stopped, though tried pulling from several locations unfortunately train didnot respond at all. Along with few fellow passengers ran up to several coaches to find Security, guards or army or GRP but could not find any body on board After 15/20 min. running Train stopped at EKCHARI STN as routine. The matter was brought to Station master's notice and enquired about both the problems of Alarm malfuntioning and nonavailability of security on board as well as my losses. The station master immediately confirmed to us by communicating through VHF set right in front o[censored]s that no SECURITY / GRPF were available for that train. It was also informed to me that the thief would possibly be one MR. MADHU PASWAN with whom they are familiar with. it seems.

An FIR was lodged there, FORCES from both sides are initiated to catch the thiet - as per the master and the train resumed its journey assuring to me that the thief can be easily cought and matterials return to me without delay and GRP Personnel at Bhagalpur stn will once again record the FIR. On reaching BHAGALPUR STN nobody from the GRP turned up but after hue and cry Mr. Ravi Prakash as GRP In-Charge ,Bhagalpur came and recoded the FIR. He had confirmed that the Mr. MADHU PASWAN is the thief and they are following it. Very confidently he assured to me that the thief will be easily caught as within half hour of the incident Forces are behind him and he can not run far off as the area is paddy field and water all arround for vast area and the train was allowed to resumed with much relief on that assurance. On reaching Lokmannya Tilak another complain was filed as instructed.
On enquiry to Bhagalpur GRP in charge Mr. Ravi Prakash so far, Mr. Mdhu Paswan , the thief is left the village and it is very unlikely to catch him so quickly - he said. THIS HAS GENERATED SEVERAL QUESTIONS IN MIND regarding the working style. efficiency, attitude of the total forces there !

But my question here is : On enquiry to several railway officials I was told that if the items are caught I may get those things back other wise. No way to get it back or no provision or rule to claim or ask for compensation even. How it is possible ? Why the safety of property is left to the passengers alone while so many criminals . thieves , gangsters are allowing to board and travel freely. Why the Alarm system is not made mandatarily required to be operational at all times ? Why the Forces / GRP / or some security personnel is made mandatary requirement to be on board the train during the running ??? Should the Alarm system be functional / responded and security were present the thief would have easily been caught and I might have not lost all these as my coach was just close to Engine. And why the Railway should not take care the personnel belongings of passengers ???

Please advise as how to get back my things or get compensated. I brought all these from home town of Imphal to fund my treatment for Cancer at Tata Hospital. Mumbai, to be admitted on 16/11/09.
The Govt. document is also extremely important.

I am helpless and request for your kind advise in urgent.

Please Stop MST Passengers to travel in General Coach in Bhilad Vadodara Express.
MST Holders having special MST coaches still tahey travel bye general coach, thay mibehive with ladies, elders, make General pessangers stand from window seat, give bad words while talking, not giving proper space to stand and many more other things.


Please look in to the metter not only for this train but for all such trains in which MST holders rules.

in order to provide facility of charging mobile and laptop in sleeper coaches railway ministry installed power switch with [{no use}] in every bogi near entry/exit gate. i am travelling around 15 days countnuously in western railway found that none of case is exception.
passenger are feeling cheated when they come close to the point for charging purpose.
Today once again i found this case in bandra-bikaner exp.
I also going through the same pain. I am giving my details also. If someone listening, plese do something now. You are public servant and dont behave like crooks. I heard earlier that politicians are crooks, but now I realised that, they have made the public offices as their collecting agents. I am not sure but bound to think this way that Lalu and Mamta have added our rightful money as their income porbably, which is why they cant give us the money back. Its our money and you cant get away with it. If you will do things this way, then our faith in the judiciary and internet will go out.

Respectfully I beg to say that my wife Smt . Divya Devi, Age 30 yrs .Borarded kalinga Utkal Express (8478) in AC 3nd on 12.11.2009 at H.Nizamuddin Station in Coach No. B2- Birth No 3. under Tatkal kota for Anuppur (APR) With eTicket PNR NO- [protected] . and pan card (pan no ajkpd5677r) as identity proof .she was alone while traveling.

The TTE at H.Nizamuddin and Mathura Station verified the tickets and did not raise any Objections. But at Agra Station one TTE Mr. Tripathi entered my coach in drunken condition & demanded journey ticket for checking using very rough and tough Language and in a very discourteous manner which is not expected of a TTE on duty .she showed the ticket and the Pan Card, but Mr. Tripathi invalidated both the ticket & Pan Card and asked for the money with Penalty . My Wife raised objection but he was very rude and adamant. She being alone had no alternative but submitted to his demand for fresh ticket .
Receipt No B-754488 stamp by KARYALAYA MUKHYA TICKET NIRSHHK GAWILAR, UTTAR MADHYA RAILWAY. Amoun t Rs -1110+250= 1360.00.
Because she was alone, she could not go any where to file complains to nearest GRPS station.

Sir, Please taken necessary action on such person and refund Excess recharge amount on my address for your kind and early action will be highly solicitated .

On 26 /11/09, I was travelling through kalindi exp 4723 from Rohtak to kannauj in S1 coach but by reaching on delhi, it was found that there is no S2 coach attached while the reservation made for same coach, there was no one to tell us, poor TTs were not able to tell any thing, there was hue and cry and the the total things were mismanaged so ultimately S2 coach passengers came to S1 and made disturbance over all night .Nobody checked our ticket neither came to train.And train started depating from delhi without any solution.

Please make an enquiry about it and punish the culprits.to save the image of Railway.

Indian Railway — No customer service from person authorised to give answer to enquiry

Dear Sir,

I here by requesting you to take action against the employee who was incharge of enquiry department at Thalassery station, Kannur District, Kerala on 03.12.2009. I have tried to contact railway enquiry person over the number 131 but all time line was busy and out of order. I have personally gone to station to convince the issue that what happening there at enquiry department, i have found that receiver is taken away from phone and other times he is continuously talking in phone not to customer. This person is behaving to customers very rudely.

Kindly take appropriate action against the person to sustain the railway more effectively.

Some antisocial element in Ranopli which is in Ayodhya District Faizabad U.P capturing the railway land. These persons makin room and Gumti on Railway Land. I have lodged complain in railway deptt but no any action is taken.

On 13/12/2009 i book my ticket from IRCTC for 23/12/[protected] Rajendra Nrg Exp) from Mumbai(CST)- Jabalpur, PNR number-[protected] as soon as i book it, it didn't show any berth number or coach number.

leter on it show that ticket has been booked as WL-57(waiting list), but still in www.indianrail.gov.in showing 11 available, and i was shocked to see it as i use to refer it to book my ticket.Please resolve my problem as if iam going to cancel my ticket it will charge me again.

I booked ticket for journey from Howrah to Mughalsarai by 2311 up kalka mail leaving howrah on 24.12.2009. We are total 5 members out of which me and my wife are senior citizens aged 70 and 68 yrs. respectively. Request was made for at least two lower berths but even a single lower berth was not provided.Ticket is for AC 3 and the PNR number is [protected]. My wife is a Physically challenged person because of acute knee problem and as such she will not be able to climb to the middle berth. Even she is unable to stand erect.
In the circumstances I request you to arrange at least one lower berth within the same enclosure and oblige.

My name is Pardeep chhokar.I am traveling daily from samalkha to delhi in the EMU 7DPM whose time at samalkha station 6:48 am .There are some chain smoker board from next station.All the passenger say them don't smokes but they are always tell open the window or stands outside the train.When i am say, i am fields complaint against you then they are told go and field complaint .Nobady come there.So sir please take action against them.
