[Resolved]  Indian Railway — Miss management at AC coaches

In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

Indian Railway — No running ontime


My name is Venkatesh and last 2 to 3months i have been travelled on train between mangalore and BAngalore and Bangalore and Mangalore. Every time there is a delay of 2 to 3 hours when it reached destination. Can concerned dept. head lookinto this issue.

I had booked one parcel from Guna to Nizammuddin (Delhi) on 26th April 2008 vide Parcel way bill receipt no. B 385102. After visiting nizammuddin parcel ghar so many times, parcel ghar staff is not able to locate my parcel. Kindly do the needful. It has been more than a month now.

South Railway CHENNAI, also given copy of Claim to the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager South Railway, Palghat on 13 th june and they have accepted it on 18 june by claim number [protected] & file no. Y/MISC/MXV/PGT/MAS/[protected]/06/2008-09, but in vain.

I am working in GENRAL RESERVED ENGINEERSCFORCE (BRO).Now I have been transfered from 518SS & TC(GREF) C/O. 99APO to 533SS & TC (GREF)(KARGIL) C/O. 56APO.My allowed leave
expired on 28 th may 2008 there after i have reqested the Officer In Commanding to extend it to 30 days more which is going to expire on 27 th june 2008. Due to non recept of consignment I am not in position to attend the duty in time which will put me in more problem on reporting to my unit
So, I am suffering much problem to non recrpit of the same

Hence please kindly take apprximate steps in this regard.

What is this and what is going now? When I call to railway inquiry he does not receive phone and not give the right information. If they do not work properly then they should be dismissed soon. We do not need such type of employees. So please take the hard action against such type of employees soon. I face this situation in Bharatpur (Rajasthan). There are loose worker in this department.

One other condition I have face in Nizamuddin railway station where some police men take money illegally from the passenger. I also have some photo graph against them. If nobody can change such type of system then give us some authority. We are available all time for do or die. Nobody can change my thinking.

When some police man involve in such system nobody is safe.

Subject: Complaint for not introducing train between Kanyakumari-Bangalore

Respected Sir,

The Honourable Railway Minister of State R. Velu has told that 119 new trains were introduced in 4 years. We

welcome all the efforts made by the minister for the welfare of State. But can the Minister say one valid

reason for not introducing much awaited train service between Bangalore and Kanyakumari. Numerous agitation

has been demonstrated by the people who will benifit by this train during last 5 years. During 2003 when Mr.

AK Murthy(PMK) was the minister he promised for the train during a protest held at Hosur. In 2006 when Mr. R.

Velu came to inaugurate the Computer terminal in Hosur Railway station he promised for the train. But what

stops them from acting (Public perception is the private bus operators stop this because they are running

around 15 buses daily at a cost of Rs.550 to Rs.800. But ironically train ticket costs only Rs.300, so people will

switch to cheaper and cmfotable journey). The only train which is running from Bangalore towards southern

districts is Tutucorin express is running with reservation full seats always. If you check for the reservation it

will be always full for next 1 month. Will they take steps???????

Respected Sir/Madam,

This is in reference to my journey from Mandasaut to Bandra terminus, dated 27-06-08, Train no-2996, Coach No- B3.

The problems faced by us during the journey:
1. No proper numbering of the coaches due to which we ended up boarding in the wrong compartment and when contacted tht TT he was not in a position to understand our needs and when asked for the compaint book the same was not issued to us by the Tt as well as the attender.On the other side of the coaches no's were not displayed which created problems for other passengers boarding fron different stations.
2.No proper maintenance and water supply in the coaches, blankets were not provided in sealed covers and there was no provision of pantry.

Would request you to consider our problem and do the needful.

I was booking railway ticket on 6th july 2008 for New delhi to cuttack then error message occured " Error in booking payment debited from your account will be credited " then I rebooked ticket. 2nd Application sent on Feb.05. No action taken till date & no intimation given to me.
3rd time all photocopies of related documents sent but no response received. I am facing financial hardship now-a-days. Already passed more than four years & no refund has been received. Indian Railway — Gurgaon to Rest of India Route Problem

Dear Sir/Madam,

As Gurgaon is the hub of information technology service industry in north india, lots of people of each gender come here for work in this field. But travelling to/for gurgaon is always a night mare for all.

We don't have any general train in which somebody can travell to other parts of north india. There is one train (IIT JAT Express), but that stops at very few points.

There should be few trains from gurgaon which can make our life easy while we travel to our homes. Especially this is a very big problem for girls, as they have to go to delhi which in itself is a daunting task and not safe.

Our railway ministery should seriously look in this matter.

Subject: Complaint against dismanagment at dewas junction (m.p) i.e. dewas railway station is always stinking and no action is taken in this regard.

dear Sir, I m a resident o[censored]jjain and i work in a company at dewas and i hav to travel frm ujjain to dewas and frm dewas to ujjain everyday but the managment at dewas juntion dissatisfies all what is seen now at another station the station is alwaz stinking with soya residues.Also no proper arrangment of ticket distribution and train arrival and departure information we have to wait 15 min after the last alarm of arrival is blown in one word i have to say very poor railway managment is seen at dewas.I hav searched on net for complaint input i found this site with railway ministry.I hav lodged my complaint ...and hope some +ve action will be taken in this regard.

Sub:Identity Proof in the E-ticket/I-ticket

Respected sir,
As all know, We need to carry the original ID proof with us during the train journey, If we carry the I-ticket or E-ticket. When we book the ticket for a group of people, We need to give the ID proof for only one people. The ID carrying person name and his proof should be informed during booking itself. For some reasons, If ID carrying man is not able to travel or he lost his identify proof at that time, it isinconvinient for the group to travel. It would be good if we have a option to carry any ID proof during travel and if we have a facility to reigster all of the passengers ID proof . So If one person in the group cancels his travel plan, Others will not suffer. If one Identify lost, He can use the others. If it is not possible to register ID proof for all passengers, It is necessary to register ID proof for more than one person. Please consider this request.

There are a lot of illegal hawkers on the stations of Mumbai local The bridges are too small for the passengers on to it these illegal hawkers with the help of corrupt security staff very comfortably do business on the railway bridges and stations.

I am citizen of India who feel that Railway Department is giving his Best to Their Customers in your kind guidence.
I am Based in Lucknow, My Company is Head Office in New Delhi
So I Did Lot of Travelling through Lucknow Swarn Shatbadi Express, we feel this is among The Best Train which is run by Northen Railway.
From Last 3-4 Months Service is Going Down Day by Day, I Have Already Complianed About it Twice.but no Action has Been Taken
to Solve the Problem, my Privious Complain no. are 003 and 004 Dated 31-Aug-2008 Train no.2003 PNR NO.[protected], Again with same Problem Complain no.020 and 021 Dated 03-Sep-2008 Train no.2004 PNR no. [protected].
In This Train Coach no. C-4 have Lots of Problem, Which I mentioned in following Lines.
1- A single Footrest is not working of any Seat, which can cause of lots of discomfortability in 6 Hours in Chair Car seats.
2- Out Side Coach A Wiriing Box is Open Which can Cause of any Accidental Fire.
3- Toilet are very dirty, no Person is avilable for Clean, Toilets also with out Toilet paper, Locking System is not working of Toilet.
4- Food Quality is going down day by day .
Now after reading these problem you can imagine toilet with out Lock, Seat without Footrest.

How We Can Say This is Best train?

Lot of Tourist and NRI also use this Train, So what image it make between them about Indian Railway?
I am assure, you will take care this Problem and solve it.

I undertook a recent trip to Assam from Howrah in 2nd AC and was shocked to note the mess the services are into. AC coaches are supposed to be premium accomodation, I thought. Staring from cockroaches, unauthorized vendors, eunucks, unreserved passengers, everyone has got a free passage even in AC coaches. Worst of all, the attendant as well as the TTE are silent on the issue and says 'We can't do anything' upon complaining. I travelled on 11th Sep by 3rd AC from Howrah to Barpeta Road by Kamrup Express and took the same train on my way back on 17th Sep. but in 2nd AC. But the situation was the same on both the instances. Can anything be done about this??

Respected Sir,

This is in reference to the complaint no 531160 GC13 to G234 The station Record Duplicate for the Train No 3104. This is to refer by me as a responsible passenger on behalf of all passengers about only AC coach where most of the trays attaching to the chairs are not attended. The same problem is seen in the last many times as the complaintant is regular to the subject route in the same train that runs from SEALDAH to BERHAMPURE COURT route OR vice versa.

Due to the same problem, We are unable to sit or works comfortably & even small kids are unable to sit or sleep on the chairs. We are also unable to take breakast or to move our legs comfortably.

I humbly request your department to take fast action on this.
As per the process, few of the passengers have also signed to the subject complaint as mentioned above.

The purpose of referring to this website is that The TT concerned said that this is a long pending works.

This is our humble request to instruct your department to solve immediately as It seems got simply unattended for last few months.
