[Resolved]  Indian Railway — Inconvenient Seat arrangement

Sir,
I generally travel from trains from 15-20 yrs from jodhpur to delhi.
through mandore superfast express[protected]. in this train the no. of seats are increased from 8 per cabin to 9seats per cabin the followin problems arise due to this adjustment:-
1. The computer is not yet updated which gives the seats according to 8 seats per cabin. for ex-
i receive seat no.9 LB but when i enter in the train then i had come to know that the seatting arrangment has been changed acc. to new seating arrangment i go SU.
2. The seating space for RAC reservation on SL is decreased. It is due to the adding the middle seat between sid upper and side lower.
3. the space of the SU seats has also been reduced and passengers are unable to seat comfortably .

It is one of the worst thing the Indian railway has done by adding a berth on the side. It is very inconvenient and made coach crowded. In fact the railway is making the train travel a nightmare...
Sub: Uncomfortable & Unplanned Services By Railways

By Adding the additional birth to bogies, follwing issues are generated which railway official has to take it seriously.
1) Un comfortable sitting & slipping arrangment since side two birth has one more birth to their credit. It is a shear common sense that side above part of railway is in curvature. So it is next to impossible to slip or seat there.
2) Morover in day time the the extra birth person has to seat at lower birth of one side making it to four person sitting at one side & three person at other. ( How will you differentiate this)
3) By adding a extra birth at side you are increasing the chances of travellers to reach to hospitals for their Backache issue.
4) Height of the unplaning is that even you have added extra birth since 4 to 5 months, but while issuing the tickets this is not considered. Which leads to changes in the actual birth positions as TT comes & informs (I seen on 1 jan 09 in AP express ( Hyd to Nagpur) ) & this changes creates kayoss everywhere & expecially for aged people who need to shift thier luggage. I think Railway will be ready to wait for some mis happs & then certainly raise hand.
So please take it very strongly to stop making the profit at the cost people health.
Who cares about the travelers. As it is the old system of side births was very difficult for the elderly. It is pathetic that we people are made to suffer just to make Indian Railways to run with huge profits. It is pathetic and they do not want to improve the facilities. For example, for the additional people the toilets are going to be same and you just think about the condition. They have also made some adjustments in the second seating for trains from Chennai to Bangalore and the seats are just like the ones available in buses.
Railways please improve your services.

Railway — Seating Arrangement

Dear Sir/Mam
Just i want to say that there is no side middle birth. As we kanow it has been changed now after that why not side upper seat has been changed. it should be little bit below..
because now it is ggiving so many problem.. neither u can seat there properly and as we all know his length is also less than upper birth so it has always become problem to seat there..
in all rail budget we got some new trains ... but what about those trains which all are running ..
the coach seat is verry poor and cleaning is also not good..
