I was travelling with my family fron Bhubaneshwar to Kolkata via Cape -Howrah Exp Train no. 2666 on 12-Oct- 2008 in 3 -Tier A.C. and had confirmed tickets with berths as B1 - 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and B2 - 64. As there wee two coaches, with the permission of T.T., I exchanged the berth of B2-64 with B1- 40 og Mr A R choudhury. On requesting the attendant - named L Kumar of the coach to provide the Bedsheets and Blankets, he not only misbehaved but also did not provide the same. First he went missing from the coach for 2 hours and the when he came back, he said the T.T.has to come and tell him and then only he shall provide the same. Please note that I was already not well and suffering from cold & influenza and because of this, my sickness got aggravated.
Requesting to take action against such attendant who do not know how to behave and instead of serving people - try to act as if they are doing a favour. and cause inconvenience to travellers. PLease NOTE THAT I WAS NOT PROVDED ANYTHING ULTIMATELY.

This is my experience while travelling frequently from Howrah to Bangalore. The AC Coach attendant did not attend carefully and they did no wear the badges and dress as provided by the Railway authorities. The Bed Sheet are also dirty and the sheets were used by the 2/3 travellers. This is the conditions of the AC Coac. Whether new Railway Minister from my State will look after this.

i was travelling from bombay to shirdi on dt 15th july 2012,first of all their was no bedding provided,when asked he said bedding r short so gave 2 in 4 berths,after a lot of discussion he arraged 1 more bedding n blanket,still one pillow was less,attendent name was RUPESH ATHAVELA,when i asked for complaint register didnt gave the register,i talked to tte he said cool down,n in night all the doors of coach were open till 1 o clock n attendent was sleeping,plz take necessary action against the attendent,so that other public doesnt suffer in future

      Sub: Lodging of complaint against theft of my suitcase.

      I was traveling in train No. 2646/ERS MILLENUM EX from H. Nizamuddin to Gudur (Jn) boarded the train 0n 7th October 2008 under PNR No.[protected] in coach No. S-5 Seat No.17 (lower berth). The e-ticket was booked through e-mail- IRCTC. I lost my old suitcase, branded “ASIM” with light cement color, uncovered which was chain locked to the handle with the hook beneath my lower berth and it contained the following main and important items/articles apart from other things kept in it as per my remembrance is concerned:
      1. Three pairs of pant and shirts
      2. Three new banians
      3. My bank passbook of State Bank of India, Nabha along with cheque book
      4. ICICI Bank, Patiala, Punjab, cheque book
      5. About 18 loose cheque leaves of Punjab National Bank, Dausa (RJ), Rajasthan.
      6. Our company (IDEB Projects (P) Ltd) related original and photo copy documents viz: General Power of Attorney and agreement and some TDS certificates.
      7. Books and original CDs relating to my personal laptop of DELL company which were given at the time of its purchase.
      8. Original Tally installation CD which was given at the time of purchase of the software.
      9. My medical file ( Diabetic Clinic, Dr. S.Sathyanarayana Murthy, Pogathota, Nellore) containing doctor’s prescriptions, test reports and medicines purchased bills etc.
      10. Small books and papers, files etc.

      The above are the main articles among other things which were kept in my suitcase. I presume and after considering the views of my co-passengers in the compartment that my suitcase was stolen during midnight sleeping time between Nagpur and Ballarshah stations by cutting the steel chain fastened to my suitcase. But unfortunately, I have noticed that my suitcase was lost after a few minutes, after crossing Vijayawada Railway station. I was advised by the concerned TTE to lodge a complaint at Gudur (JN) railway station addressing to Nagpur Railway Police Authorities.

      It is not out of place to mention that another co- passenger by name Mr. Abraham V. Daniel (his mobile No. [protected]) who was traveling along with his family in the same train in S-7 Coach, Berth Nos. 37, 39, 40, 47 &48 and his suit case was stolen in the similar circumstances during midnight between Nagpur and Ballarshah stations by cutting the steel chain fastened to the suitcase.
      It shows that there is serious security lapse on the part of the Railway Police. However I hereby request to take suitable steps to recover my stolen suit case and kindly intimate to my above address and to my mobile No. [protected] immediately for which act of kindness I will be ever grateful to you and your department.

      I was traveling in train No. 2649/KARNATAKA SAMPARK KRANTI EXP from NAGPUR TO H.NIAMUDDIN boarded the train 0n 22ND January 2009 under PNR No.[protected] in coach No. S-5 Seat No.5 (Middle berth). The e-ticket was booked through e-mail- IRCTC. I lost my Briefcase, branded “Ecolac” with Black color, which was chain locked to the handle with my Dress baggage and it contained the following main and important items/articles apart from other things kept in it as per my remembrance is concerned:
      1.Tools box containg screw driver and hexaonal screw driver and small fine tools.
      2.Multimeter
      3.SOLDERING IRON.
      4. Calibration tools
      5. Certificate duly signed by Ophthalmic doctors.

      This is to Inform railway police that on 25th Feb 2009 a Lady(Old lady named Kusum Lata Rawat around age 60) was traveling in 9325 Indore Amritsar Express in coach number S-7 birth number 68 & when train just left the gwalior station a person snatched her purse & jumped from moving train. She lost all her mobile phone money etc.Now the bad part of the Railway Protection Force is that she did not find anyone in the train to ldge the complaint regarding this matter. Please do the needful to that lady, she is still traveling in that train & reaching Nizamuddin Rly. Station at about 1130 Hrs. on 25 Feb 2009. In that purse there were two mobiles, Numbers are [protected] & [protected] can be helpful to trace the thieve. Let me see what RPF does now

      My relative (MR.N.Nishanth) was travelling by Charminar express from chennai to Secunderabad (S1 Coach, seat.no.5) on 23rd March 2009.Few miles before Nellore station, he dropped his mobile by mistake on the tracks.It is a black samsung E250 mobile.Since it has got more than 600 important contact in memory, please help us find the mobile even if it is broken.A complaint has been lodged at Nellore Railway Police Station as well.Please do the needfull at the earliest.Please intimate this to the nearest stations as well.

      Somebody has been stolen my new laptop (Acer - 4730Z) with digital camera (Nikon) at chennai central station on 05-MAY-2009 (Hyderabad Exp).I just kept my laptop carry case in my upper birth and went outside to bought biscuit. I came back immediately. But, It is gone.I never imagine it. It took 2-3 minutes only.

      It is a new one and it is under monthly due. That was my 5 years dream.I have very important and in my laptop. So please try to find out sir..

      Dear sir,

      I traveled in Kerala Express on 27/05/08 from Palghat to Nagpur (Actual my ticket from Trichur to Itarsi)
      but boarding from Palghat to Nagpur in Coach no. S-7 (Bearth No. 50 to 54 total 5 Berths) At the time train reached at nagpur on28/6/09 arount 8.30 pm stepdown nagpur and One airbag missing the train and next day I booked a complaints at Nagpur Railway Police station if the bag received any station between Nagpur to New delhi pleas confirm (the bag contains cloths (One packet alongiwith cloth purchased from Ambalapara Palghat distt. (kerala) with shops Cover new meherba ) and one panasonic digital camara (handycam) alongwith shooting pictures with this camera and one blanck cassete. Any one notice the bag please contact the nearest railway police or nagpur railway police or my cell No [protected].

      It is a new one camara useed 1st time and important vidios have very important the handycam. So please try to find out sir..If any one inform me I will sutable reward also

      Railway — Mobile Stolen by a Co passenger

      Dear Sir,

      While going from KCG (Kachiduda) to Anathapur(ATP) in train number * on 27.09.2009-28.09.9009, one of the co-passenger has stolen my mobile (HTC3400). The coach number of S8 (sleeper class) and the my seat number is 25.

      The co-passenger Seat number is S8 - 27 or S8 - 26. He was on Upper berth and his age was approximately 30. He got down at Dharmavaram

      On 26th October 2009, myself and my wife, Smt. Rajana Chauhan traveled from Hazarat Nizamuddin to Bangalore by Karnataka Sampark Kranthi vide Ticket PNR No.236 – 55147 33 in Seat No.51/53 – Coach No.S5. By about 11/30 PM on 26/10/2009 around 50 to 60 persons entered our Compartment forcefully at Nagpur occupying anywhere and everywhere inside the Compartment and even threatening co-passengers claiming they birth as theirs. In the melee we lost our valuable kept in the brief case as detailed hereunder which fact came to light lateron:

      Golden necklace with ear ring set : 40 grams; ring 9 grams : 2 Nos.; Small Chain 5 grams : 1 No.; Pendant 3 grams; Ear Ring 4 grams : 2 Nos.; Pearl Set : 1 No.; all worth approximately Rs.1.50 lakhs (one Lakhs Fifty Thousand) + Cash Rs.13, 000/-; Sarees : 2 Nos.; and Shirts : 2 Nos.

      We request you to kindly investigate and help us to retrieve our hard earned property for which act we will be ever grateful to you.

        My parents are scheduled to arrive at 4 am on[protected] at howrah station (Kolkata) by train no. 2840. So at first I tried and called the automated Train arrival and departure service no. i.e., 1331/1332. But it said that the train has already arrived. Then I called up the manual enquiry of the howrah station new complex where after many rings a lady picked up and said a reluctant "hello howrah station enquiry". When asked about wht was the arrival time of the train she said "please call after 1 o clock". When I asked what was the scheduled time she said 4 am and hung up the phone before i could say another word. So i would like to launch a complaint against the reluntancy of the enquiry staff to offer information to the customers which causes a lot of problem to us.

        i fully agree with the complain, these government staff don't have any realisation for their job assigned by the government. they are sitting their just to have six pay commision salary and to have share in the bribe.

        because of these type of employees, common people suffers daily.*-

        I am totally agree with the compalint. You cant get to the inquiry number first time. You need to wait, till a hesitant person will answer you, like this job is not theirs. It is they are doing for free or upon some pressure.
        PL inform me that today i.e on 21.03.09, Steel Express (2813) from Howrah JN.scheduled at 17:30 hrs is starting at right time or not.Pl give reply at the earliest.

          I have made a ticket from Agra to chennai of third AC on 12/05/08 for journey date 16/06/08 of Rs.1673 for train No. 2612 and My transaction id is Transaction ID [protected]. but i have to cancel this ticket one day before the journey date due to some reason but whenever I tried to cancel this ticket, communication failure appears on the screen and the ticket is not canceling and the other ticket of same date of less amount is canceled then immediately I went to station but they said that they can, t do any thing in that case and told me to call on the no given on the net. Then I call on all the no but no one recieves it and every time the call was put on hold and cut down after some time and around 200rs was wasted on call and I can show you my bill details. Then I file tdr on 27/06/08 for which my reference no is 126832.0. And after three months of long time they are refunding me only 824Rs out of 1673..

          I had made a e-ticket from Howrah to Bhubaneswar on 18th sep'08 for date of journey will be 20th october'08 and my transaction id - [protected] . But due some change in schedule i am not going on 20th and had already booked a ticket for 21st.

          I had booked e-ticket for travel on 28-08-09 for Train No. 8029. The scheduled departure of train was on 10:30 PM. It was announced that the train will depart next day i.e. on 29-08-09 at 1:30 PM. So I tried for cancellation of E-ticket. But as the site refused to do me cancellation. I called Customer care next day. Customer care confirmed that the chart is not prepared, hence ticket can be cancelled. As per Railway rule if the train is delayed by 12 hrs then full refund shall be made. But after processing Railway refund me less than half amount. Despite after my many follow up customer care is not responding now. Will I get full refund??
          today, I have made a e-ticket from Bhopal to Pipariya of date 17/10/2009 by train no. 1463 in sleeper class (No. of passenger 02) and the amount 255 Rs. is deducted from my account but the printout of ticket is not shown on the screen. I have neither PNR No.nor Id No. What should I do so that i may receive the printout of the ticket.Please reply soon.

          I had booked two e. mail tickets /3AC on 13. 12.09 from Jalandhar to Lucknow in 3050/ASRHWH EXPRESS .Total fare paid was Rs. 1756 ( 878+878)in the name of Inderjit Kaur and Narinderjeet. But when we reached the station the train had already left so we missed the train. We atonce went to the agent Kholi Watch Jyoti Chowk Jalandhar from where we had booked the e ticket and told him to get the refund. He told me to wait for three months. Now itis more than three monthe but when we go to the agent he says no reply as yet.

          I have booked e-ticket vide PNR # [protected] for travellimg on 26.12.10 from KOTA Jn (KOTA) to JALANDHER CANT(JRC) by SWARAJ EXPRESS train # 12471 for two passangers.
          Due to route diversion due to GURJAR AANDOLAN and train didn't arrive at our boarding station hence we could not board at KOTA.I loaged calim with IRCTC on 26th Dec ,10 and get mail confirming that it may take 90 days in process of refund ,but after passing more than 90 days despite my e-mails and phone calls on helpline I have not get any satisfactory reply and schedule when I shall be getting my money back.

            We two person have booked a rail ticket from Dhanbad to secunderabad in 3 AC class.The journey includes the combination of two different train i.e 2340 DN and 8645 UP. We have completed the journey from Dhanbad to Howrah by 2340 DN.The train reached at Howrah at 13.18 hrs, while its sheduleed arrival is 10.21 hrs.Due to late arrival of Coalfield Express 2340 DN at Howrah, next connecting train East Coast Express 8645 UP left the Howrah hence we could not caught the train.In these condition we forced to canceel the onward train of Howrah to Secunderabad.
            Then we filed a TDR NO: 125820 on dated 13.06.07 at Howrah station.It is more than a year we did not get any refund from the Railway.Urgent attention required for refund please.

            This is Ram Chandra Panigrahi. I have booked four tickets from Rourkela to Bangalore on[protected]PNR No. [protected]). The Train has been cancelled and diverted through another route, not come to Rourkela station at all. As I booked it as e-Tickets, I lodge one TDR on 6/5/2008 through mail. We got the information that we have to send mail to irctc for refund. We did the same. There after I follow-up 100 times through mail, phone and asked for refund. . The amount is Rs.4010.00. But till today i have not recieved the refund. i have done continous followups with IRCTC and Eastrn Railway but no use. i can not understand the logic behind that. Pl. do something, it is 6 months old

            Please help me to get my money back.

            we have boked tkt from samastipur to New Delhi on 26.6.08 by train no 2203 ( Garib rath )PNR No[protected]unfortunately the train was cancelled on 26.6.08. My T D R no 856082 Dt 22.7.08. iwas submit on 29.7.08.agt REI 23/1950/n/T as per deling clear have sent to account depp. for refund for Rs 1248/-on 16.12.08 for refund . but till date i don recd muy refund.
            Though the undersigned had deposited TDR S.No. 431433 for refund of amount towards cancellation of ticket against PNR No.[protected] amounting to Rs.4352/- on 14.12.2008, but it is regretted to say that the refund amount has not been received so far inspite of lapse of two & half months. Please expedite release of above amount at the earliest.

              Respected Sir,

              Please proide the menu card of all food items in AC coaches of all trains.Other wise providers are demanding more.

              Following trouble we faced in 3rd AC Coach No. B-1 in SABARI Express, Train No:7229

              1. Providers charged 40Rs for a single Dosa.Hence Please Display the Menu Card
              2. No 3 pin plug ponits are working for Mobile Charging
              3. No security guard

              Request you to take necessary action so that passengers would not face these type of problems in future.

                My name is satyanarayana I have reserved E- ticket on 19-09-08 one ticket from Sc to NEW Delhi. It was in weiting list 75 on boarding date it came to 25 so i could not able to travell by reservation I buy general ticket and I have travelled in general.
                but one of my friend He booked E-ticket on 26-09-08 for same train and same distination, his ticket is conformed his berth no is 36 B1. I have writen a mail to Indian railways regarding this but they are not giving reply. how can I get jestice for this kind of problem.

                Request the attention of the Southern Railways, Coimbatore Junction to provide a bigger coach for ladies compartment in Cheran express leaving Coimbatore Junction at 22.10 hrs on every sundays. More or less everyone who travels from Coimbatore to Chennai frequently, know that the 2 trains Blue and Cheran runs full on all friday and Sunday nights from to and fro stations. In Cheran express the ladies compartment provided has only 20 seats (2 Bay coach), but the crowd will be around 80 or more. People adjust to sit on the luggage rack, even then another 20 only can sit. Request the attention of southern railways, Coimbatore division to take action on this and provide a bigger coach (atleast 4 bay coach)

                I am travelling on 16328-Korba-Trivandrum Express on 13 June,2011, when I booked the ticket in AC 3rd classs my waiting list was W/L-11 and it gradually came down to RAC-1 a day before as a usual procedure. But when the chart was prepared the current status is W/L-13 which is totally unethical.

                I also filed a compliant in Aluva station and the station manager also has no answer to this situation.This is a very unacceptable and I would beg this careless Indian Railway atleast not to repeat this in the future with other passengers.

                  Many times when i want to print the ticket of the already booked ticket, the site does not open. In such cases it becomes very inconvinient and not sure of what to do. The print out of the same should be sent in the mail along with the payment details

                  It would be better if print is sent to the given emailid of the user they can leisurely take printouts and be without anxiety amidst busy schedules.
                  I am facing the same problem from last one week. I need to travel ths week and m not sure how to go ahead.
                  Ticket is being booked a week back and I need to take printout of my e-tickets. There must be some issue with site, I'm not able to see menu's once logged in. My journey is schedule tomorrow morning, how i should board the train in this situation
                  Same situation with me as well.
                  Yes IRCTC can send a PDF file when the ticket is booked.
                  Its sad that they dont do that probably because of the amount of server resources that may consume.

                  However following some simple tips can help

                  1 . You can make a screenshot of your booking confirmation screen using the print-screen key and then later paste it to paint and save it as jpg and attach to your email so that you will no more be in the mercy of irctc.

                  2. You can do the same with the "PRINT ETICKET" output screen

                  3. You can install BULLZIP or similar PDF printer software and make a PDF of the ticket. This is the one I usually use.

                  4. You can go without a printout at all ! Yes, there is this rule. All you need to carry is your photo ID and you will be charged around Rs50/- extra. I have done this twice.


                  So no more worry about not able to take printout of irctc etickets. The problem is resolved :)

                    I had given a complain few days back that i have not got my parcel, and railway is not taking any responsibilty for it.I would like to tell that i have got my parcel but all my material is damaged and is desstroyed which is of no futher use.                       so just becoz of the monopoly of railways a simple man would have to
                      be hungry, this is ridiculous

                      2. there would be no cooking at railway staion

                      (a)Think about the employment of thousands of vendors at the railway
                      station.now what would they do?

                      But who cares?

                      (b) Every place has some speciality like PETHA OF AGRA
                      now after some time people would forgot all these things

                      (c)and the people would take JUNK FOOD

                      3. NOW the railway would allow only two water bottles at railways
                      (a).kinely (b). aquafina
                      (a) if railways not allow aother water bottles which have ISI MARK
                      then why indian Government provide the ISI MARK.

                        I am posted as Senior Pediatrician consultant, in a Govt.Hospital, K.P.M.Kanpur and I am at the verge of retirement.I went for "TATKAL" reservation from LKO-PUNE Exp. on 17-06- 08 at 7A.M. over the Cantt. side reservation window which was unmarked but was beside the window no.859.Now.at about 10 mints to 8, Madm.P.Dixit came and atarted the preparations for reservaton.During the whole 10mint's time she noticed many a time that I am at no.1 on the window although the que was growing further.Now exactly at 8A.M. as she lifted her head an young agent behind me thrust his hand from my back and shouted that he was first .As, he was an agent and a regular visitor and 0fcourse, must be obliging her, she took his form first.When I objected, she shouted at me very rashly and said "I know, who is first in que, keep quite otherwise I will throw your form.I had no option but to say o.k.do his reservatoin first .She did his reservation first and so I lost mine instead of waiting there in que for the last one tiresome hour for my age.
                        I therefore, request please to take some sten action against Madam.P.Dixit so that so that senior citizens may not to be put to harrassment and humiliation.I hope sir, that you will definetly take some action to weed out such elements who are gnawing the railway's reputation.Please also do some thing to break away the nexus of railway staff and agents.Be it known to you sir thatthe Dainik "HINDUSTAN"has revealed the so called nexus between the two in it's to-day's editioni.e.18-06-08. Thanks.

                          I booked an e-ticket through irctc and the pnr number of the ticket is [protected]. I initially booked 4 tickets and later on i cancelled one out of 4. Today when my parents were traveling through the ticket, a TTE came and said all the 4 tickets are cancelled and the money has been returned to the card. When i checked the pnr status online it showed me that 3 seats have been alloted to my parents(couch SE1 and seat # 57, 58, and 60). I spoke to TTE through mobile phone(which my parents were carrying) and he said all the tickets are cancelled. I said please check in the chart and he said "I have given those seats to some one else and if i have some vaccant seats then only i will give seats".

                          I paid the full amount whatever i was suppose to pay then how you guys can trouble passengers.

                          I called up 139 and explained the whole scenerio and asked them for an immediate help but they said they are help less.

                            Respected Sir/mam,
                            I we are running our school and we carry school materials trought train. This time when I was travelling from LTT (MUMBAI) to TALCHER(ORISSA), I had booked my parcel in lugage, my reciept no is-B 726474, B-726582.When i reached my destin that is Talcher, i asked for my parcel but i was said that the door is unable to open and you can collect your parcel from Bhubeneshwar the next day. And the next day when i approched for my parcel i was again sent back telling that it is misplaced and they are not responsible for it. They are now asking us to wait. FOR HOW LONG SHOULD WE WAIT? AND WHEN WILL WE GET OUR PARCEL? When we asked for any contact number they denied, our place is 25KM far. Do we need to go every day in search of our parcel? We are now asked to go Bhubeneshwar for further enquery of our parcel. IS THIS THE FACILITY GIVRN TO THE CUSTOMERS??? We were asked to approach CBO(CHIEF BOOKING OFFICER), we did so but he is also on leave from Wednesday to monday and it is said that no other person can help us. So till how long we have to wait? is only one person to look at our problem?is this a manner to behave with customers?
                            We are waiting for quick response to our this complain.

                              My self OJAS.K.MEHTA, I had booked my motorcycle to be dispatched from Baroda Railway Station (BRC) to Mathura Railway Station(MTJ) on 20th August.08. The Receipt No. is P960377 dated 20/08/08, which is sent to Mathura by Firozpur Janta express (9023 dn.) on 20.08.2008, Coach No. 977270 (SLR), I have received this information from Vadodara railway parcel department.
                              But it has not reached it’s destination till date. I enquired at Mathura Railway Station (MTJ) Parcel deptt. Several times for last 27 days. They are indifferent towards the arrival of parcel. I gave them photo copy of my receipt and my mobile no. on my first visit, but during last 25days they never called me even one time during last 27 days I personally meet them more than ten times. Whenever I asked them about the where-about of my motorcycle they are just saying the same thing all the time we search for your vehicle and we inform you when your vehicle come.
                              I am working at I.O.C.L and I don’t have any vehicle and is far from my place and it is not possible for me to go Railway Station frequently and there is no system of communication through telephone from out side parcel office. Once I enquired to Deputy Station Master but he is not even to listen me and I am surprised by his reply he told me “why should I help you, I am not here to help you?” then I have to remind him that I am your customer I use your services,
                              I told him that it is not possible for me to come here frequently because it is far from my place and it affects my job, then he told me then what should I do???
                              No manner’s to talk with passenger by Deputy Station Master. I want a clarification from your side whether “Passenger query (complaint) is a time pass for railway?”
                              It has been more than 25days now. But unfortunately it is not delivered to me till date. I have several times enquired about this to railway authorities.
                              I am suffering much problem to non receipt of the same.
                              Here I attached photo copy of my receipt and I will be seeking favorable reply from you. I may be compelled to take legal action.
                              And finally after much harassment I got my bike exactly after one month on 20.09.08 that day I find flood light glass is broken and two side lights are also broken this is how INDIAN RAILWAY manage customer goods and earn profit.
                              One parcel office staff Chaubeji told me iwill call you when your bike come he called me on 20.09.08 and I have to pay 50 Rs. As damarage charges as they told me the was arrived on 18.09.09 but he called me on 20th, and at that day he is not even to listen me not even the Chief parcel supervisor.

                                The menu on the railway site shows very low prices for their catering services but as and when we travel we have to pay atleast double for food. On complaint they say they dont have a menu and even the T C dosent help. On asking for complaint book they say they dont have it.

                                Food prices can vary depending on type of train, your class of travel etc.
                                Comments post by some body is wrong. The prices of the food are same for all class whether it is AC First Class or Sleeper class. The type of train also does not matter. cost of food are same for all types of trains. This is mandatory. You can have it from the web site of the Indian Railways. If they charge extra you please ask for the bill and you can proceed before the Consumer Court for compensation for charging extra price than that of the fixed by the Railways.

                                  Am manivarman form nagercoil my season ticket number ID No - C08S9SK2X4, i traveled nagercoil to kerala daily. Today 24/08/2015 this morning in kerala railway station the ticket checker checking my season ticket my ticket was valued but i not signature under the ticket i tell him sorry sir i forget that ... but they will using bad words (uoobava vantha... the English suck my pins)

                                  Sir,
                                  Here I am Ayush pandey from barnala punjab(148101).i have booked tickets for my mom and sister ie. from Gna to ndls via FKA DLI EXP train number 14732. pnr [protected]. By mistake the boarding point made by me was GNA except Bnn. The ticket checker firstly said that he had cancelled the ticket on request he said that, he can provide seat but you have to pay ₹500 each for seat. This was very wrong sirr, being alone my mom and sister can’t argue with him and they have to pay ₹1000 to him. Please Sirr kindly see to it and take some strict steps towards.

                                  This is not a rules . I am Pankaj shandilya my ticket was Muzaffarpur to yesvantpur on 1//04/2019 and l am getting in Katihar but that time TT was sold my ticket to another person.I am not getting my seat .what I can do ..any one please help me I am not getting my seat..

                                    sir,
                                    i had a very bad day... today... i dont know whom to blame... off course... finallly came to the conclusion that it was my fault for not having booked my tickets in advance. But would like to highlight some few stunning and shocking things observed by me ...
                                    sir i came to the platform of Guwahati Railway Station ...at around 05:05 am since i had to buy the tickets for Jan Shatabdi Express upto Dimapur along with my family. I was shocked to hear that the counter clerks announcing that the tickets are exhausted... I went to all the counters begging them for the ticket as i had to attend my office in diphu... it was very urgent... but to my dismay, evryone refused... saying that the tickets are over... even i could not get a waitlisted tickets... by that time it was around 05:40 am...dissapointedly i was talking with my family, when a porter approached me and asked me to come to the corner... One gentlemen came from inside the booking counter and asked me to fill up the requisition slip and give it to him along with Rs. 1000/- ( Rupees One Thousand Only), where as the original ticket cost is Rs. 102/-.. I was shocked to hear that and i refused for the 4 tickets and instead asked for one ticket 4 me so that i dont miss my office.. I was shocked to see him get the ticket within 10 minutes and that too the ticket was printed at 05:51am... Whatever, i rushed for the train at platform no 4 and took my family also comprising of my elderly mom, my wife and my niece thinking that the Ticket Collector may help me get tickets for them as well... I approached one of the T.T.E and he said u may get but u have to pay around Rs. 367/- thats twice the fare from originating to destination station plus some penalty charges normally implied for travellers travelling without tickets. But I was shocked further to see that the T.T.E was giving hand to hand tickets.. aorund 10 to 15 tickets... he issued from the platform itself that way...
                                    Now my simple question is that ... WAS THE TICKETS REALLY EXHAUSTED AT THE COUNTERS OR ALL TICKETS SOLD OUT...IF SO HOW COULD I GET A TICKET AT A HIGHER PRICE????????? AND HOW COULD THE T.T.E ALSO ISSUE SUCH A NO OF TICKETS IF THE TRAIN WAS FULL BEFORE VERIFYING THE BOGGIES... .

                                    Sir, i managed to reach my destination but i had to leave my family in the platform and they came later via Jorhat Special Express Train at 2:30 PM. I request you to kindly look into the matter and see that such incidents dont occur anywhere in India...

                                    I am very disappointed to see that sleeper coaches have gone very worst, due to the extra middle seat hanged in the side births. The senario of the coatch is so bad, like a fish market. Its so crowded, and uncomfortable to seat.
                                    So, I please request u to not make the railway a earning house, ignoring the comfort of the passengers.
                                    If you dont feel my above complane a authantic one, than u please travell once in mumbai - hawra mail and u will fell the pain of a common person.
                                    Waiting or ur earlier n possitive response.
                                    Dear Prakash Pradan,

                                    Did you get any answer from the officials.? if not you will never get it. we are under Dictators.. who is elected by themself with the help of their party caders who vote on behalf o[censored]s. At 38 I could never vote as when ever I reached the booth I keep finding someone has voted for me :-)

                                      I tried to book tickets from CST Mumbai to Dharmavaram Jn for me and my wife on 24 th May, 2008 for Journey on 7th July 2008 on your website irctc.co.in.We both being Sr. citizens I requested to allot lower births for both o[censored]s since there were 38 births(out of total 46 births in AC 2 tier coach) available at the time of online booking.Payment was made through my credit card.I received message of failed transaction.I enquired on IRCTC phone no. and was informed that failed transaction might be due to communication error.I tried again with request to allot at least one lower birth.Payment was made but again there was failed transaction msg. though my credit card a/c was debited twice.
                                      At Third time booking attempt I did not ask for preferential allotment(ie any lower birth) and the ticket was booked with allotment o[censored]pper births for both o[censored]s whereas your website clearly states that a Sr. citizen is preferentially allotted lower birth when available at the time of booking.

                                      I fail to understand that why I was allotted upper births, though being sr.citizen and availability of at least 6 lower births at the time of booking.

                                      All my communications(4 e-mails) with IRCTC failed to explain the reason of faulty system and they have disowned their responsibility.

                                      I hope to get satisfactory reply from you.If you can not, Please give me the name address of authority which can..

                                      I HAVE BOOKED RESERVATION TICKET BEARING NO.[protected] WITH TWO PASSENGERS NAMELY DS CHAUHAN AND SMT SUMAN SINGH IN CHITRAKOOT EEXPRESS ON 19.2.09 FROM LUCKNOW TO KATNI.ON FINAL CHART I WAS ALLOTED ON SEAT IN RAC-47 AND ONE IN WAITING NO.1.THERE WAS VACANT SEATS IN AC-3 TIER OF THE SAME TRAIN BUT MY WAITING TICKET AT SL.NO. 1 HAS NOT BEEN UPGRADED AS PER EXISTING POLICY OF RAILWAY.FOR FREE UPGRADATION OF WAITLISTED PASSENGERS IF THERE ARE VACANCIES IN AC-3 TIER I HAVE CHARGED UPGRADATION CHARGES VIDE RECEIPT NO.P-226359 LUCKNOW STATION.
                                      THIS IS AGAINST THE POLICIES OF RAILWAYS DECLARED BY HONBLE RAILWAY MINISTER SHRRI LALOO PRASAD.I MAY PLEASE BE REFUNDED AMOUNT OF ONE TICKET.

                                      I'm an Army person travelling by rail since last 9 years.My complain is when I travelling in Gitanjali Exp which is running between Kolkata to Mumbai (2860) the train stop at many station in which one of these staions is not junction but why this train can't stop at Manmad junction? Because many of the passanger travel from kolkata to Pune and before Azad Hind no one train is gone towards Pune.Manmad is the junction where we can easily travel towards Pune and Gitanjali is superfast train so it is very popular in the public, but it can't stop at Manmad so maximum people board at Bhusawal and then they wait another train.
                                      So you are earnestly requested take feed back from passangers, is my complaint true of false, & give nessesary instructions to concern authority to stop the train at least 03 minuts at Manmad station.

                                      i heard that in first class ac there will be two seats oonly ..but when i travelled last time there are four births...then what is different between 2 tier and first class...?

                                        My name is Manish Arora i was travelling from delhi to renukoot by Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express with a ticket status RAC seat no 15 Coach No S 10.The official incharge for the coach was Mrs Shiyana Begum travelling from Delhi to Kanpur my PNR No was [protected] ticket no 35688494 there was more than 7 seats empty inthe coach as per rule the emty seats has to be given to passengers having RAC status but the official on duty has allotted seats to the persons carrying general tickets by taking bribe.
                                        I requested her to allot me seat as i was suffering from fever still she asked to pay me 200 Rs.for the seat the whole night i have to suffer because of her.

                                        I need help from your side waiting for your earlieast responce

                                        My name is Ram Gopal I was travelling from Lucknow to Ghaziabadt by Lucknow Swarna Shatabdi Train No. 2003 on dated 4/02/2010 with a ticket status WL 71 after preparing the chart it will come WL 8.The official incharge of the coach C5 was Mr M.M. Khan my PNR No was[protected] ticket no 84474222.MR Khan told me before reaching the train at Kanpur that no seat is vaccant please wait upto Kanpur.After this when train start from kanpur there was 5 birth vaccant in coach no. C 6 seat no 8-12 where I was sitting. I told to Mr Khan that please allot me one birth from these vaccant birth but he ignore me and allot seats (seat number 8&9 in Coach C6 Which is lying empty from Kanpur ) to other passenger whose WL is 11 &12. After than he told me come along with me then I reach in coach no. C7. There is same position he ignore me & allot seat no. 44 who is having WL12 in his ticket. Another person who take the WL 78 Mr. Khan allot him 65 no bith in same coach but he don`t care of my ticket before reaching the aligarh when I told him that I will lodge a complaint against you he critise me & said me that you can go anywhere & lodge the complaint then he allot me seat no.9 in same coach which is lying empty from Etawah & demands bribe from me.
