[Resolved] LG DVD Writer — Not reading DVD/CDs | |
Dear Madam/Sir, I had bought an lg DVD writer on 2.5.2009 from Sevi Computers, 8, Ashutosh Mukherjee Road, Kolkatta - 700020. It did not function right from the first day. I was asked to take it to service center at 1, N.S. Road, B.B.D Bag, Kolkata-700001. It was returned to me after about two weeks. It functioned for once only thereafter and no further. I had subsequently complained via call center 4 to 5 times. The last request id was C09A1638053 dated 16.10.2009. Everytime I was asked to carry it again to the service center which I have refused. I being a medical professional (Plastic Surgeon), it is not possible for me to waste a day's work to hand it over again to the center. Moreover, why shall I be made to suffer for fault of LG product. I request you to kindly change the DVD writer. I would also like to remind you that it is your duty to change your defective product and not harass any customer. Expecting cooperation. LG dvd writer — Not received DVD writer from LG service center
I HAVE PURCHASE LG DVD WRITER ON 24th APRIL 2009, THERE WAS A SOME PROBLEM IN AUTO PLAY CD's ONLY, IT COULD NOT READ DVD PROPERLY.AS IT WAS IN WARRANTY PERIOD, I COMPLAINED TO LG SERVICE CENTER BUT IT IS NOT RECEIVED, BECUSE IT'S SERIAL NUMBER IS NOT CLEAR AS PER LG SERVICE CENTER.

I purchased a computer from sevi computers 8 Ashutosg Mukherjee Road Kolkata 700020 on 2.10.2009 and his Lg dvd writer is not reading any disc whenever I am inserting disc the writer icon is being disappeared and when I am restarting my pc then again it is showing the dvd writer but it is not showing any type of responce.

I got a problem with my newly bought 3 month old dvd writer was not reading the disk. So I gave it to the service center 1 week later they gave me a another writer in the name of my product and remaining warranty details sticker-ed in that. Saying that no new piece would not be given in warranty period if problem, they will give only RE-WORKED (OLD) piece NOT a NEW PIECE. I dont know why these kind of response from LG.
Pls dont buy LG DVD Writer, I saw THOUSANDS of FAULTY Writers racked in room in LG service center (All moderate New pieces as i noticed)
Also gives Belt problems.

i buy a recently a lg dvd writter sata & other one buy 11 month ago 2 dvd writter in warrenty of 1 year . but still not work properly iam go in lg service center in ns road (kolkata) but service center temporarry reparing not permament after 2 days is not read,rite any cd dvd... i am very hezitate of on the lg service center....... please help me....... i purchased LG DVD WRITER on19 jan 2010 my serial no is 912HAZX077399, It was not reading and writing.

LG DVD Writer — lg dvd writer is not reading dvd
i bought a lg dvd writer before 1.2 yrs and it was working fine. From past 2 months my lg dvd is not reading dvd's ( any form) but its reading cd. is there two lens reading separately for dvd and cd and if its lens problem. does it come under warranty. please do reply.
