LG SPLIT 1.5 TONS, MODEL ; LSA 5 WG 2 STAR GOLD
DATE OF PURCHASE ; 23 . 09 . 2008
FROM RATHNA STORES T. NAGAR, CHENNAI, INVOICE 15780 .

This unit was installed in the bed room of my bungalow house and it was in good use only from April 2009 and I started noticing the following defect right early.

LOUD AND CONTINUOUS CRACK SOUND FOR 10 MINI TUES EACH TIME DUE TO CHANGES IN TEMPERATURE AS AND WHEN THE COMPRESSOR SWITCHES ON AND OFF FOR MAINTAINING THE REQUIRED ROOM TEMPERATURE.

As this sound is heard more louder in the nights we are disturbed in our sleep continuously I have registered my first complaint on 19.06 09 under id S9C61904624 .After hectic follow up your technicians have been attending to it last 2 months but could not solve this problem .They are trying to convince me that it is a common complaint since the noise do come from these light body new models.

I did not accept this theory since I am already using 2 of LG split a/c units of 1. 5 tons in my bed room and living room which I bought in the last 5 years . The bodies of these units what I have noticed are robust and are absolutely sound proo[censored]nlike the one I bought now .You know since I was happy with them I went for my 3 rd unit of LG .I am greatly disappointed now

Here the most dissatisfying thing was that no senior person either from customer service/ marketing / service center were getting involved on my repeated complaints except sending some junior boys to attend..Finally on my request they have agreed to take this unit for observation .

I am a retired Senior Purchase Executive worked for one of the TVS auto ancillary namely Brakes India Ltd for long years, who are the OE foundation brakes suppliers to Automotive and also tractor Industry who are name for quality and customer service.. Having said that I cannot compromise on this problem which is a very important one.

Hope you will educate your customer service people to take complaints seriously and solve them at any cost.

I wish I will have your ack and assurance that this problem is attended to immediately

    I have purchased the above product on the assurance that it works as TV and also as PC Monitor. It has one RGB slot. I connected the TV to the PC with on D 15 pin cable. but it is saying no format. the local service centre mechanic could not identify the problem. I have not received any cable for connecting the TV to PC. I used the one I was using for connecting LCD monitor. I feel cheated by their advertisemnt, product palmlet, instruction manual etc which clearing shows that the same can be connected to the PC easily. Please help

      Dear Sir,
      Iam writing these few lines to show my utter despair in buying a LG product in the first place.
      When my old A/C gave way after a gap of 10 years almost, i decided to go in for a brand new A/C
      and chose LG due to the brand name . Its been 3 years now since ive been using this 2 ton AC
      and the fan has already broken twice, and twice ive sent it to the service centre Al yusuf
      for servicing. The first time when i replaced the fan same was replaced with an original one, only to be broken again next year, not to mention the poor cooling of this unit.

      Does that mean every year i have to pay 200 dhs fr a new fan, believe me the A/C is functioning even worse than a second hand A/C. I want muy money back or a replacement A/C and will never ever buy any LG product

        I purchased a LG Fridge 200 Ltrs Model: 211AMDG5 from NEXT RETAIL INDIA LIMITED, No.342, CTH Road, Pattabiram, Chennai - 600 072 on 01 Aug 2009 and the same is delivered on 04 Aug 2009.The cooling of the fridge was not up to the satisfactory level and the food and vegitables kept in the fridge were detorieted. Water drops were dripping contunuesly from the freezer. The same was reported to the LG care (id - S9C[protected] on 11 Aug 2009. The service engr attented the complint on 12 Aug 2009 and said that the gas used for the Fridge is different from the earlier one, this will be like this only and asked us to use stabiliser for the same. whereas, when we purchased the retailer said that stabiliser is not required for the same it will work with out stabiliser and a sticker also pasted on the fridge that "WORKS WITH OUT STABILISER". The situation is still contnuing. Kindly rectify the problem faced by me or if you say "it will work like this only" then I don't required your product. The fridge may be taken back and my money may be return to me. So that I can go with some other option.

          Dear Team, We have purchased LG split AC in june 2009 from Vasanth & Co Pattukkottai, we are facing major problems with LG technicians as they not able to attend faults/problems of AC unit, they told us to change single booster to double booster, we changed it, then one LG technician came and reduced the gas from 65 to 60 as he feels 65 is very high, other technician from LG told 65 is ideal, till now no one is attending the faults and problems properly. Vasanth & Co is great, but LG service technicians are having very poor knowledge and they are spoiling LG's brand image, please attend to this, we will be greatful to LG family.

          LG- India Split AC — Defect and Poor Service

          PURCHASING LG SPLIT AC A MENTAL AGONY
          I had purchased a split AC 1.5 ton from M/s. Dutta & Co., authorised dealer of LG-India. Kondhwa, Pune, on 16.04.2007, the 3 free mandatory services commenced from 11th. month after purchase, after reminders and complaints on the web, nos.[protected]/[protected]/[protected] complaints dtd. 11/03/08, 22/04/08. 02/05/08, 16/06/08, 25/09/08 and so on, as of date all the service engineers Mr. Haridas and Mr. Umesh, (Service) Mr. Madhukar(Quality), Mr. Sachin(Prod) claim to be qualified, have attended, they have replaced the drip unit too, since there was a disturbing sound from the In Unit there is a start up noise from the Out Unit which they claim to have rectified but is still there, which was bought to the noticeof the techs, has not yet been solved, have acknowledgement, the job work sheets have not been given to me, it has become a harrassment, approaching International Concumer Rights Protection Council. Thane, to get the matter resolved.

          LG — split air conditioner

          I had purchased 2 lg split ac's (1.5 & 2 tons)from the dealer karan electronics, d-77, malviya nagar on 4th of april, 2009.The dealer got them installed from lg company for which they charged me around 7, 000/- which includes the cost of extra wire and stands.The 1.5 ton ac in my bedroom was not installed properly and all the gas and oil leaked within a few days.The dealer asked me to contact the company and the company assured me of replacing the outdoor unit.Today is 4th of may, one month has passed and i am suffering everyday in the heat.I am calling lg regularly and they always ask for 3-4 days more .Kindly help me in this regard.

          LG AC — LG Split AC

          I am facing so much delay in repairing of my split ac. my ac is in warranty period. i bought it in feb. 09 and on 13 may 09 i installed my ac, it can't work. when i complain it then one worker from service center (not LG engineer) came and broke U-Coil of AC and leaked all gas of ac and then he call to the engineer and he said that it will be charged to you. I complain on 14 may 09 and till no other action will be taken yet. i called so many numbers but nothing will done. i am using many LG products in house and never seen this type of delay in processing. please take immediate action fro this.

          LG india/ Split ac — Poor after sales service

          We have bought 2 split AC of LG company, just few months back from Ketan Electronics Jamnager.
          When we bought the product we had been given full assurance of all services, but now the scenario is completely different. Though complaining several times no person is coming to do the service. Total bad response from the work station.

          LG Air Conditioner — Horrible After-Sales Service

          After caling up LG Service center my Window AC has been taken by Gennext services (LG's authoried service center) for change of gas (for which I have been given an estimate of Rs. 1630). After calling up 10 times the people seem to be clueless (that is when they pick up the phone) and I am still waiting for my AC to come back !


          PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING AN LG PRODUCT

          MY NAME IS SARJUN LAL(WEST BENGAL), REQUEST ID IS N9C61800002. I HAVE GIVEN A COMPLAIN ON 18TH JUNE ABOUT MY AIR-CONDITION IN YOUR GIVEN HELPLINE NUMBER BUT YET IT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED.

          WHEN I GOT A NUMBER OF SERVICE CENTRE NEAR MY HOME, THAN THEY REPLIED ME THAT IT WILL TAKE MINIMUM OF 5 DAYS.WHEN I TOLD THEM THAT IN HELPLINE PERSON HAS TOLD ME THAT IT WILL BE REPAIRED WITHIN 24 HOURS. THEN THAY TOLD ME THAT THE HELPLINE PERSON DONT KNOW ANYTHING. IS THIS IS THE WAY U GIVE SERVICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. IF YOUR COMPANY IS PROVIDING IS SUCH A BAD SERVICE THAN I AM SORRY YOU ARE LOOSING YOUR CUSTOMERS.

          Viveks/LG Split AC — delay in attending service calls

          We have purchase a LG split AC 1.5 ton from Viveks and is in warranty. We have made a complain on 30.06.2009. Today is 11.07.2009, we have not received any technician to see our fault. When we make a call to the service centre there is no proper response from front office assistants and they are not transfering our call to any supervisor. They say the line cannot be transfered and the supervisors do not have any outgoing nos and all such rubbish answers.

          If VIVEKS, such a big retail showroom does not have service technicians to attend calls why they sell products and give false assurance to the customers.

          I have purchased LG split AC in August 2009 from Ice Berg Engineers, Sales and Service, Santhome, Chennai, from the date of installation onwards i heard gas leaking noise and breaking noise in the indoor unit i have contacted Ice Berg they inspected and accepted that there is Gas Leakage Problem and some others problems in the indoor unit and removed the indoor unit from my house and took it to their service station. I asked for the replacement of the Indoor unit because the entire indoor unit is faulty and it gave problem from the next day itself and it was totally dead with in a month of purchase. till now the are not replaced the faulty Indoor unit and they keep on dragging the problem till now both LG and Ice Berg Engineers are keeping silent and giving me evasive reply. This will surely spoil the image of LG and Ice Berg. Is there any advice for me what to do in this problem
          i have purchased Electrolux Split 1.5 ton A/C from Vasanth & Co., pattukkottai in during Diwali 2009. after the installation 2 days later i found some noise coming from the unit. nextday i had informed to them. but someone called me and said they will come and check within few days. but since, 2 weeks from now there in no one come and check anything! after sales the service is not good at all. Vasanth & Co Head Office should take this matter very seriously otherways they have to lose all the coustomer!
          this is from warehouse, orissa power generation corporation, banaharpali, jharsuguda, orissa. we have fitted two nos split ac in our office last two year but till there is no routine check up by the company representive . one ac is not functioning and routine filter has not been cleaned till now.

          We had bought a Heat / Cool Cassette unit vide bill no. 389 dated 16/02/2009 from Snowcool Airconditioning Co. Munirka, New Delhi for a very prestigious Architects Space Matrix (Turnkey Executioner for M.S.D.F Qutub Hotel, New Delhi). Space Matrix use your units in abundance . The units has been giving perpetual problem and twice the PCB has been replaced by your dealer M/s Snow Cool, Munirka. There have also been various other problem. The client is not happy with this frequent failure and is demanding new Indoor unit. He had lot of faith in LG and we were also very assured of your quality but this has not turned out to be so.

          LG Split AC — service issues

          I am your valuable customer from Chandigarh, Last weak I have purchased A/C Split type (SR.No.002ABZJ004765), Model No. AA51BR1 (IN) of Rs. 24500/- from M/s Saini Electronic Sector-38-West Chandigarh. Today when Installation of A/C Being carried out Electrician asked for stabilizer, I contacted to dealer for stabilizer but he refused to give stabilizer and told that stabilizer on payment basis and demand Rs 2000/- more for stabilizer. But as I read in news paper that stabilizer and dust cover +3 free services complimentary with purchase of new A/C then why your dealer refused for stabilizer, after so many request to Saini Electronic finally I contact to LG INDIA LTD by this mail Please instruct your dealer why they harassed me.
          I had also contacted your toll free No.[protected] they also agree that stabilizer is complimentary free with New A/C. This will surely spoil the image of LG and Ice Berg. Is there any advice for me what to do in this problem?

          I have purchased LG split AC on march 2008.The dealers TMC AS rao nagar hyderabad.They have have sold damaged and demo AC. which is not working properly after taking home.As SPLIT AC is under warranty .we asked them to repair. they are not ready to repair it.customer complaint id :C[protected], 22nd April .I request you to take necessary action against them .

          LG India-SPLIT Air Conditioner — Very Bad and Poor Service

          I bought a 1.5 ton LG Split AC 3 years back and took AMC through the company, in last six months i am facing one problem or other in working of the AC. Each time i have to run from pillar to post to get it repaired. One week back again the AC broke down and i made a complaint to LG service centre as usual the response was our system failure we cannot register your complaint please try after 2 days again i tried to register my complaint after lot of delibaration they finally registered my complaint. An engineer visited after several calls and told us that the gas needs to be filled up, incidently this is the third time i am facing this problem. He told us our people will come the next day to fill the gas. Till date no one has turned up, inspite of several calls to the service centre the standard reply is that our engineer will get in touch with you with in next 24 hours. so many 24 hours have passed no response from them. Hope atleast a single responsible staff will look into this to set my AC repaired.

          I NEVER THOUGHT THAT THIS WILL BE THE SERVICE STANDARD OF LG.

          L G SPLIT AC — COMPLAINT REGARDING A SERVICE

          He are a reputed builders and developing Colony.We purchase every year L G AC (spilit & windows) from your Raigarh dealer in huge quantities.But we are sorry to inform that service provided by your engineer is very poor & they are unable to satisfied customer like us.So,it is a big issue for us to eigther stop to purchase AC or you have to improve your service with out fail.
          Dear Sir,
          I bought LG Desire AC at cost of 32500/- on 22.04.2010 from your local outlet (CMA-Arena) near Vasco railway station.
          I faced my first problem with above AC on 17.05.2010 when I observed that water had started dripping from front on the stabilizer. I complained about it, the technician came and just adjusted the AC but still dripping didn't stop.
          Now on 09.07.2010, I observed that the display on the panel is not clear. I have made complain again but so far nobody has come to attend the problem.
          I request you to kindly look into the matter.
          Suggest to get my AC replaced with the new one.

          LG/ Split airconditioner — Poor service of my Split A/c

          I would like to raise my disappointment at the way a service issue of my Air conditioner is being dealt with.
          I have 2 window a/c and 1 split a/c. On 10th July, I raised a complaint to service my window a/c and repair the split a/c since it was not cooling. The ticket nos. were
          1) [protected] Dt 10th July
          2) [protected] dt 10th July
          A technician (Khalid Khan) attended to this on the same day. While he serviced both the window a/c, he inspected the split a/c and determined that the capacitator needs replacement. He promised to return with the spare part on Monday 12th July. Today is 22nd July and the a/c is still being repaired.
          On 16th on July after repeated follow ups, another technician visited without any spare part and promised to return the following day with the spare part. He did not come as promised.

          On 21st July, Khalid Khan who we understand was on leave the previous week, once again came to inspect the a/c and now determined that the problem is not with the capacitator but with the PCB. Since the PCB is not in stock hence there would be delay in fixing the same.

          What is more upsetting is that the ticket nos. are opened and closed at the whims and fancies of the LG team because we understand that you have a 48 hour period to close a complaint. The various ticket nos. besides the one given above are:

          1) C [protected] Dt 15th July closed on 17th July with a reason “Customer will call again” and another one opened
          2) C [protected] Dt 17th July closed on 21st July with a reason “closed on the request of the client”
          I fail to understand which customer they are talking about because the issue is still open.

          I request you to immediately resolve the issue, failing which I would be forced to go to consumer court. I would also like to know why you would close complaints when the issue is not resolved.
          Pl. also not that we had taken an AMC for the 3 a/c on 25th April and a total sum of RS 4863 paid. However, we are still to receive any receipt or contract for the same.

          LG AC SPLIT — clearance of outstanding payment

          Sir, my loan account No. is TP BAJAJ AUTO F/151062 EMI Rs 2417- I want to close it. My two installments are left. Kindly advice to where I have to deposit the balance amount of my loan in Ludhiana. Thanks.

          LG — LG split AC servicing

          Hi,

          I am having LG split AC 1.5 ton and having valid AMC with LG. On Last friday my AC compresser gone bad and raised complaint with LG RNA[protected] on 15-April-2011. The engineer visited on 16-April-2011 and updated compresser gone bad so the machine should be taken to the service center to replace it. Will collect the machine on monday ( 18-April-2011 )

          I have waited till monday evening and call to customer care and said there was no update on this issue, they said i will esclate they will get back to you in 2 hours time. On tuesday ( 19-April-2011 ) I called to customer care and raise new ticket to atten my AC fault RNA[protected]. but no responce.

          On wednessday ( 20-April-2011 ) call customer care for 5 times and talk and explain the same seniorio again and again to each one, once i ask for the update they will disconect the call. atlast i got number of the service agency by fluke which i search of old numbers in my mobile.

          When i call to the service agency head Mr, Manivannan ( [protected] ) he updated will pickup today. I have said why it is not done till now, he started saying some silly reasons, that this is season so lot of calls. I said ok pickup up the unit on wednesday ( 20-April-2011 ) and refix it on friday ( 22-April-2011 ).
          But he didnt pickup the unit.

          i called today 21-April-2011 but no update till now my unit is not handled by LG service center. Feeling really worst of LG service. Dont know where to esclate and how to expose my feelings and pain to this world.

          LG SPLIT A.C.1.5 Ton — Regarding Poor Installation & No after sales service

          We have bought a new LG 1.5 Ton Split Airconditioner on 19 th April 2011 vide Invoice no 2011-12/21044

          from LG Distributer Jeevanjee Refregeration Eng. K-40,Lajpat nagar 2nd,New Delhi.The delivery was on time

          but regarding the installation they have done in a lacal way.The persons who have come to install the A.C.

          were from the lacal shop sent by Jeevanjee, they were not authorised by LG. They have left the pipes open

          and loose, the outer unit and the main indoor unit is very noisy.


          We have been calling the LG customer care from the last two days and we have registered our complaint

          vide Ref no.RNA[protected] Dt.02.05.2011, but nothing has been done so far and we have not recd

          any call from their end. Please do the needful.

          I bought an split AC on 4th Aug 2010 from Choudhary Electronics in KARNAL. The cooling coil of indoor unit was leaked but i came to know about it only last month since it was not used much in last year. I registered the complaint with LG service center. They came, found the leaking coooling coil and took the indoor unit for replacing the coil( since it is still under one year WARRANTY PERIOD). Now, it's already one month and every time i call them they make an excuse and ask for more time to make repair. This is very frustrating. Even one of them asked me to get it repaired in outer market. These are the person's i talked to

          lg service — Split Ac complaint

          LG company claims that their service is too good & 2-1-1 (tow hours -one day-one hr.) they resolve the service.
          This is my second experience 3month back I complaint that my AC is not cooling next day their person came he check everything & said gas need to be fill & at present i am not carrying gas cylinder will come tomorrow & that was the day after 2 months executives from LG came & said we came to fill the gas in regards to your complaint. The work was done from out side.
          Now 3days back again same problem came & I sent a complaint to their cust care center (complaint # RNA[protected]. same day in the evening their person came & said their is a leakage from inside body & need to be taken to the service center and they dis mental the body & kept a side said our people will come to take this unit, till date they have not come to take that unit. I don't know now when they will take it & when they will return it back. Such a poor service.
          I purchased LG A.C. Splite Model LSA5FR2A 1.5 Ton from Krishna Electronic 1076 sadar Chauraha Cantt Lucknow on 21.05.2011 with instalation price .AC was ftted by their repesentative.After installation AC was not properly functioning and water leakage started due to this painted wall going to start dammage .I registered my complaint with LG Customer Care Toll Free No. and man deputed by your customer care centre visited and told us that AC is not properly installed by agency person and it will be installed by LG personnel and i have to bear again installation charges.I registered my request with the owner of shop on Mob. No. [protected] so many times and told them that installation was not proper as per LG' personnel.Each time he only assured me that mechnic is going to rectifiy the problem but he is giving me only word and not taking any action that is disturbing me and my family.Lastly after 10 to 15 calls, I have no option except to contact you to please rectify the problem so that AC may become comfort not a problem and dammage my rooms due to leakage of wate.

          I did raised a compliant RNA[protected] in the third week of march2013 and till date my issue ("a/c is not working properly, we are not getting cool air ") didnot fixed till now(Apr 22/2013). Everytime I make a call, the customer care center will always say" within 24 hrs our experts will come and fix". Now I really doubt on the experts on the LG products.
          This is summer and we do utilize the product during this season.
          I think no one want to take the ownership on the complaint and fix it.

            This is is to inform you that we are not satisfied with the performance of LCD TV of your company as well as with the after sale service. We purchased one LCD TV - Model 42 LCR on 16.12.07 from M/s Kay Dee Electronics, Sector-18, Noida. Within six months from its purchase the TV started giving trouble. On 20.5.08 we registered a complaint No. N8C 62500673 with your Customer Care Centre. After two days your service engineer visited our place and informed that electric supply unit is not working properly. On 1.7.08 Mr. Umesh and Mr. Sachin from your authorized service center Bionic in Noida visited alongwith the electric supply unit. Even after replacing the electric supply unit the TV did not work. They left assuring that they would come back in the evening and repair the TV. Contrary to the assurance nobody turned up. We again contacted Sh. Naresh Gupta, Service Engineer at your Service Centre, Ghaziabad, who assured that the TV would be repaired within two days. On 4.7.08 Mr. Lalit visited with some other part and tried to repair the TV but could not succeed. Your service engineer visited our place three times but could not succeed in rectifying the fault. At that time the TV was under warranty. We requested for replacement of the TV, since it was a major fault, which even your Service Engineer could not identify.

            Your Service Centre Ghaziabad assured that the entire machine would be replaced leaving the original jacket, the case of the TV. This was done against our wishes and also against the policy of your company. However, we had no other choice but to agree and ultimately after 15 days the inner machine was probably replaced by an older machine by your Ghaziabad service center.

            After one year of replacement of entire machinery the TV again started givng trouble. On 28.7.09 we again registered a complant No. L9C72802596. On that day your Service Engineer, Mr. Ashirwad, visited our place and gave a Job Sheet No. ABS9C7280040. He informed that panel of TV is not working therefore LC of Module will be replaced. Since then 20 days have lapsed but nobody from your company has visited for doing the needful. Again, on 18.8.09 another fresh complaint No(s) . N9C81803875 and[protected] were registered with your Customer Care Center and on your web site [protected]@LGindia.com respectively.

            We are also in constant touch with Mr. Manish Gupta, ASM, Ghaziabad, who has informed us that a request has been sent to your Head Office for making available LC of Module as this part is not rightly available with them.

            We would like to bring to your notice that our LCD TV is giving trouble since its installation and almost entire machinery was replaced by your service center probably by sub-standard old machine, which did not last to its life and now again a major fault has occurred in our TV, therefore, this LCD TV may please be replaced by a fresh set imemdaitely.

              I purchased LG Monitor TV vide Bill No. EM/00675 Dt.[protected] and claimed my FREE DTH Connection as was promised by M/s. LG India with original claim voucher No. 203974, D.D. No.067424 Dtd.[protected] issued by SBI, Garden Reach Branch alongwith all papers and despatched the same thro' SPEEDPOST on[protected] itself. On 11-09-09 I called over phone to M/s. Spectramind Marketing, Noida. A person answered and acknowledged that they have received my Original Claim Voucher and they are processing the same and they will take 4(Four) weeks time to despatch my gift. On 12th October 2009, I called again and they told me that there was no stock of DTH Set top Boxes with them, which, they hope, would arrive after Diwali and then they would despatch my gift under intimation by SMS on my Mobile. Today on 30-10-09, I again called them and astonished on hearing that they shouldered their responsibilities off by saying that they have informed the matter to M/s. LG India who would give our gift and we should take the issue to them. Now I see that all the above complaints are true and I also think to take the issue to Consumer Court to sue against
              M/s. Spectramind Marketing and M/s. LG India for cheating a huge number of people. I hope that I would receive a genuine reply from both the parties.

              Dear Members,

              I bought LG 22" LCD TV monitor on 27/08/2009(Bill Attached B.jpg).
              I bought seeing promos given by LG company (To see the promo see LG WEBSITE)

              I completed all the formalities to get my DTH service according to the LG IT CLAIM FORM ( See A.jpg)

              And couriered it to Spectramind Marketing Pvt. Ltd. as mention in CLAIM FORM on 30th by Doc. No. 3137 through First Flight.

              Now after a long time, i got a letter (c.jpg) stating that I have not attached Invoice Photocopy. Which is absolutely incorrect and I believe it’s a game played my LG company. As I have send all the documents as mention in "LG IT CLAIM FORM" and I also believe that there might be more customers cheated by LG Company.

              As mention in (C.jpg) letter from Spectramind Marketing Pvt. Ltd., I cannot even re-submit my CLAIM FORM.

              Now what can I do to get my DTH Free service with 6 months subscription free.( as promised in the promos during that time)

              LG Monitor TV — Non receipt of free offer of DTH Connection

              I had purchased one LG monitor TV on 14/08/09 and entitled for for free DTH Connection with 6 months free subscrition. Sent all papers and Claim voucher no 203434 to Spectramind Marketing Noida on 07/09/09 and the said papers received on 09/09/09. After one month, called spectramind and got reply that the offer will be despatched witihin 15 days. But no reply from them. Meantime called Area Manager of Kerala, and got the reply that he will look in to the matter and will do the needfull. But there is no reply so far. On 03/12/09, I have called spectramind, Customer Service Centre, Kerala Branch of LG, and Area Manager. But everybody is giving others number to call. Hence please suggest to get the offer.
              I had purchased LG LCD Monitor TV on[protected] & then dispatched the Invoice copy; Serial No., Model No., barcode cutting from carton; printout of Email received from LG India; DD of Rs.199/= to Solutions Integrated Marketing Services Pvt.                 Te upper screw of the lower door handle of the LG frig came off a few days back
                The exorbitant cost quoted by the local repair authorized dealer (Phone[protected] at 177/G Industrial Area phase 1, Chandigarh is Rs 220 plus 300 for fixing ie Rs 520 total.
                This an exorbitant amount considering that it a is a plastic handle as compared to the Godrej frig which has a metal handle and is much older and more in use and far more stronger.
                The LG frig was purchased on 6-9-05 from Pioneer Electronics, Chandigarh and is rarely used.
                The cost of a small polymer extrusion should not be more than Rs 20 or so when mass produced and fixing it with two screws after removing the inner panel should not take more than a few minutes so why is the cost so high.
                Frankly it could be manufacturing defect so kindly elucidate or discuss on phone.

                I also faced the same problem, immediately after buying the Fridge. The lower door handle came out within 15-20 days & LG refused to replace the same & also said that they do not carry extra Handles.

                So I have been living with the fridge without handle for last 9 years.

                Further, I was facing some problem in cooling, for which I raised a Service ticket with LG. LG representative came & checked the fridge & told that the fridge is not repairable as the company has stopped manufacturing the parts required for the fridge.

                This is very strange & unacceptable behavior of the company.

                I have lots of Electronic gadgets & keep on adding the same on regular basis.

                But because of above situation, I have decided NEVER to buy LG Products & also advise all in my community to NEVER consider buying the LG Products at all.

                    Dear Members,

                    I bought LG 22" LCD TV monitor on 27/08/2009(Bill Attached B.jpg).
                    I bought seeing promos given by LG company (To see the promo see LG WEBSITE)

                    I completed all the formalities to get my DTH service according to the LG IT CLAIM FORM ( See A.jpg)

                    And couriered it to Spectramind Marketing Pvt. Ltd. as mention in CLAIM FORM on 30th by Doc. No. 3137 through First Flight.

                    Now after a long time, i got a letter (c.jpg) stating that I have not attached Invoice Photocopy. Which is absolutely incorrect and I believe it’s a game played my LG company. As I have send all the documents as mention in "LG IT CLAIM FORM" and I also believe that there might be more customers cheated by LG Company.

                    As mention in (C.jpg) letter from Spectramind Marketing Pvt. Ltd., I cannot even re-submit my CLAIM FORM.

                    Now what can I do to get my DTH Free service with 6 months subscription free.( as promised in the promos during that time)

                          I have purchased an LG 42" JAZZ LCD on 10th Aug 09 from Bismi Appliances kaloor Kochin. They have supplied me an inferior quality product and that speakers are not functioning propely. Volume is not giving much impact even if we increment the volume considerably. I went to buy a Sony Bravia and I was convinced by the sales team by showing a demo piece of Jazz with good volume and lot of stuff. Now the one supplied at home need to keep the volume at 90+ to make it properly Audible. LG or the dealer is not responding to my calls or mails even after the 4th day.

                              This was booked on 7th August 2009 but till date left un-attended. When ever I call the call centre people they very politely say "I am very sorry"; but that doesn't solevd my purpose. They have given one mobile number and one land line number, landline number is busy for the whole day and mobile number is of Mr. Alok Kr Dey who listened to my problem very carefully but did nothing except switching off his mobile.

                              My split 1.5 t A/c is under AMC, the money i have paid to them is being enjoyed by the company in form of the principal & interest.

                              We talk about the BRAND VALUE- now tell me what brand value LG does have?

                                For the last 2 months, my LCD TV (just one year old) & covered under annual maintenance contract with LG, has been functioning very erratically. Repeated complaints have been lodged with LG's customer care. Technicians have come, and changed some parts, after which the TV works for few days & again starts malfunctioning.

                                Presently, the TV is not working for the last 3 days, & we are told that LG's arrangement with the local service centre covering Malad (Mumbai) has been terminated. Our complaint is unattended, and people are merely promising that somebody will definitely come & attend.

                                LG All-India Service dept is requested to ensure to look into this on priority. It is indeed frustrating that a highly visible company like LG treats its customers so shoddily.
                                we are made for purchases the product o LG. this is the the third class services... sorry not any class. i am also complaints but not any response last 5 months for A.C & last 12 days for LCD TV.

                                  I have purchased subject Fridge on 7th Aug 2009 (last Friday day) from SAHU Agencies Aliganj, it was installed by Mr. Mukesh of LG on Sat day eveng. The door opening & closing of this product is not smooth. Mr. Mukesh told that after proper cooling it will become smooth but it is still the same.

                                  Problem in this Fridge is of misalignment of door. the distances of hinges (top & bottom) are not equal. So that the opening & closing is not smooth.

                                  I am surprised to see how the product of LG has been supplied without QUALITY ASSURANCE..
                                  I do not expect any problem & delay in its rectification from LG.
                                  One of your service Enginner attended on 11th Aug but could not rectified it.

                                  Please arrange to rectify the problem or replace it immediately .

                                    I am very sorry that our company has purchased some Split Air conditioner from local market of Tatanagar (Jamshedpur) East Singhbhoomi. From the first day of installation the following complaints are lodged at you CCC on different dates, I am sorry for the installation some young boys were sent and they have after several persuasion installed the split AC but with a surprise all Gas was leaked and refilling was done by them. Again the AC was not working several complaints made and again one gentle man called engineer visited and informed that outer unit of 2 ton Split AC is not fitted properly and therefore the cooling effect is not their with an assurance that they will fix properly on 3rd Aug till that date I am following regularly but sorry no action till date. At present also at the time of writing this mail one AC of 2 ton is not giving proper cooling effect and second 1.5 ton split AC is simply giving fresh air as the functions are not working or their may not be Gas.

                                      LG LCD 19" — getting blank screen

                                      while operating the monitor on screen it showing 2" size while belt is coming. Last 15 days i am trying to contact your lg people all telling different stories of it. this is very bad service of yours. if we are not getting any feed back within 2 days we will proceed consumer court. This LCD on warranty period itself. Pl. do the action at the earliest.

                                      May be your problem is genuine but have u tried to change format size of picture on your LCD. Like 16:9 or 4:3.
                                      Try to change picture format and hope your problem gets resolved.
