Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Dinanath Baviskar, am from Pune (Maharashtra). On 5th of September 2009 I purchased LG Monitor TV from Smart Machines, Shivajinagar, Pune. The Invoice number of the Purchase is SMP/09-10/1589. At the time of purchase I was told that there is a scheme with the same product that every purchase will get a "FREE DTH Connection" from LG. They asked me to submit the documents to Spectramind Pvt. Ltd. at Delhi with D.D. of Rs.99/-. I completed all the formalities (LG IT Claim Form No. 326226, D.D. No. 272517 dated 18th Sep'09). I was assured that within 45 days I will get my claimed DTH connection for which I appied (Airtel). I contacted Spectramind Pvt. Ltd. to confirm my document delivery at their mail address but they didn't replied. Last week I got two mobile numbers of the company (Tanushree-[protected] and Manisha-[protected]), in first 3 calls I got the answer "WAIT". In 4th conversation I got that they have dispatched my DTH to LG India Comapny. When I called at Nikhil Makin [protected] from LG (I got his number form Spectramind). He asked me to forward details to him at "[protected]@lgndia.com". This was on 30th Oct'09, but no reply from him. Now I got that the mail ID given by him is not present & he is not my calls too.

Please guide me how to tackle the problem because I can't afford a new DTH purchase and the present LCD TV is just remained as a Showcase piece.

    Have you given your handset to repair if yes... Just catch the color of repairing center and if not your seal is ok just catch the color of seller who sold you this.

    Because it is next to impossible that IMEI change itself.

    I bought a LG mobile phone model number Kp220 one year before from an authrised LG mobile showroom.I got one year warrenty for my phone and now it is over.But the problem is that i received a message from my service provider(idea) that my phone has an invalid IMEI number and when i checked for first time i noticed that the IMEI number printed behind my phone is different from the IMEI number showing by typing *#06# on the phone.The problem is that now iam in chennai. I don't have the mobile documents with me, its left in my native place in maharashtra.My Imei number by typing *#06# is [protected] in the back side of mobile is[protected].My Sim is of reliance and the sevice provider had blocked my number Ihaven't changed my phone software or neither i haven't done any phone service after buying this phone.The service provider's says that i can't use this phone further because this phone does not contain a valid IMEI number.The customer care executive of my service provider says that they notice my phones mistake now only and they say that the can't provide my phone any network further.So what should i do to correct my phones mistaked IMEI number.

    in my LG KG 195 handset the IMEI no. are duplicate and under the battery where the IMEI no. are different.it's a froud case against the LG.
    and I complain the LG to the consumer fourm.
    LG service center take the 662 R.S for change the IMEI.
    Why i pay because i purchace the valid handset and it's LG fault that give duplicate
    IMEI in hendset. it's a 420 case

    Dear sir,

    My mobile no is [protected]. my mobile is like a scrap from[protected] due to problem of IMEI No. This a big problem of Lg handset. My IMEI no is showing on mobile body is[protected] but showing on screen is different. That is the fraud by LG MOBILE. so i want to apply in consumer court against the lg mobile. please reply as soon as possible.
    yes the same thing happened with me few days back.
    i use LG KP199 and aircel connection.
    suddenly jst after 10th nov 2009, whenever i dialed any number from my phone, a system voice says-"your imei number is invalid. please call 121 for further details."
    i got shocked to hear this.i never thought of buying a branded mobile like LG nd would result as the cheap Chinese mobiles.
    i dialed 121 for inquiry, but as usual i kept on trying nd trying none of them picked it up.but thankfully a week later one of them picked it up nd briefed me on checking the imei number.then i checked my mobile's imei no by typing *#06#.the screen showed a number sequence - [protected].when i sms'd the number it said it was invalid.then i cross checked the number with the mobile's box nd the dashboard.the numbers mismatched.at that moment only i went to the shop where from where i bought the handset.they were also totally shocked to see this type of case.then the guy had a talk with his dealer.then after that i was told to submit the set along with every accessories of the phone in the box it self with the original bill. the next day(30th nov) i kept photo copies of all the documents nd gave him the handset.

    now the fact is till now i haven't got my handset back.i m using a handset provided by the shop as a standby one.
    so what i have concluded that -
    1. the imei no.[protected] is same for all o[censored]s which should have been dissimilar.
    2. all the chinese and the korean handsets have the same "[protected]" imei number.
    3. this type of situation is only in some of the selected handsets of the particular series.i have checked all of them, thanks to the shopkeeper.

    therefore, its not a original LG mobile but surely a DUPLICATE rather a FRAUD handset.so u its not our fault but its a manufacturing defect of LG. we r not responsible. so they should not charge any money for it.my point is "WHY THE BULL PHONE'S IMEI MISMATCHES WITH THE DASHBOARD???" we r not payable for this.

    so guys do what i have done. dont pay any money even if the LG guys asks for it.
    and more over let me inform u people that according to TRAI for registration of an invalid IMEI numbers it will cost Rs. 200/- only.But in our case the IMEI no. is not only an INVALID one but also a FRAUD one.

    Me also having same IMEI problem for my G1800 model.

    only one option is give your phone to an autorised LG service center, they will change the IMEI chip or the full mobile components. No service charges, Its Free

    Me also face this imei problem in lg kg195. Then me contact lg service center and from thre change my duplicate imei to original imei and after one week then original imei is automaticaly changed to duplicate imei(number starts with 13)...
    Im also having the same problem with same fraudulent IMEI number in my LG C2600.

      PF No.: KN/23534/1275

      Hi,

      My ofiice submitted the PF settlement documents by Nov 08
      Though it was properly attested,
      I received the documents back asking for attesting the correction made in the document on 02 Dec 08
      So I had to resubmit it back highlighting the attestation in pencil on 16th June 09
      Ita about to be 5 months of filing the PF withdrawal I haven't got the money. Can I know till when I am supposed to get my settlement amount?

        since the day of purchase almost 5 times the same has been put for repairs but every time the new type of fault gets added to the same.

        At present the nature of the fault is that the key pad stops functioning and the same was replaced but the problem still presists.

        Ist time the set was given to the authorised service franchise at badshah nagar, Lucknow with the problem in the headset attachement, which was removed but then onwards the new type of problems has started occuring as detailed above.

        request is for refund.

            Hi

            I bought LG 32inch LCD TV with whom i got a offer of Selecting a DTH Connect. I did selected the Tatasky, and thanks for the timely delivery.

            I did got shocked when I i tried to get it recharged as the recharge vouchers sent along with the Box were already used.

            I did cross check with Tatasky customer care but they also found that the voucher were already been used.

            i was trying to reach Spectramind Customer care but it seems that all the executive were busy all the time.

            Please help me out for the same.

              This is to let you know that I had purchased a LG front loading washing machine from your dealer E Zone,jayanagar ,Bangalore.and i definitely am having a bad experience with them.first they did not inform me about registering with LG for installing the machine after delivery.then a Mr.Raghu came in to instal.he sold me a stand and a cover for the machine which cost me Rs.1400 (Rs 1000 for the stand ans RS.400 f the cover)Couple of hours later Mr. Sameer from LG came in xpecting to do the installing.when i tld him about what had happened he gave me Mr.Surinders phone no. and subsequently mr.Shariffs no but neither of them offered to help stating that it was not their dept.

              I am really wondering what kind of business your organization runs where there is no communication between you and your dealers.....

              It is sad that our country has so much of potential to work better and yet becoz of lack of comittment to work all o[censored]s are left frustrated....

              lI hope this mail does not end up being just another mail which are all piled up i n the complaint forum with no response from your end....

              Please do take some action so that we can al benefit from each other

                Hi,

                On 16/10/2009, as part of the Diwali Sale, I purchased an LG JAZZ 32LG80FR TV from GIRIAS LTD, Anna Nagar. The LG technician installed it on Oct 18th. But on the same day it was noticed that the front panel cover ( about 2" black plastic around the display area) was scratched. The technician who did the installation confirmed the same on Oct 19th and registered a call (Complaint No.S9CA1902042) for free replacement of the damaged part. I immediately received a promt SMS stating the problem will be rectified in 24 hrs ~ 7 days. But now it is more than 14 days and the problem has not be resolved. I had done several follow-ups both with LG and with the vendor ( GIRIAS) but everytime I am being told that the part is not available as yet. Looks like LG and the retailers have some special tie-ups to dispose off such damaged products in the name of 'festival sale' !

                In addition in this TV, the Pciture Feature of 'Cinema' or 'User 1" or 'User 2" setting is not working. Everytime you change it to any of these, after 5 ~ 10 mins it gets reset to its default 'Vivid' mode. This also has been reported to both LG and GIRIAS. Complaint No. S9CA2900353. Still awaiting action.

                I wouldnt recommend this product nor the company - as both the product and the support is HORRIBLE.

                32LG80FR — Replacement of LCD

                I hv purchased 32LG80FR model of LCD TV. withg in four days the TV program was not coming. so complaint was logged to the dealear of LG and customercare but I did not get replacement of LCD for 15days. I dont know when i can get replacement of damaged /factory faulty LCD.
                In addition to the above, I have also registered for a 3 year warranty extension for the product. If this is the state of mine, imagine what it would be for others who are just with the default 1 year warranty.

                  We have purchased LG Plasma TV 32PC5R on 26th Dec 08, from DK Electronics, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, for Rs 27,000/-. Our TV picture started giving problem within a few months, and only one black thin band or multiple bands but no picture will come, intermittently - photo enclosed. We logged 1st complaint nealry six months ago. The company checked but said it will not repeat. Since then consistently the complaint has been recurring. We took pictures from camera and showed to compny reps on following complaints. They kept on denying the complaint as the screen was ok for the 5 minutes when the company person came. Then the frequency increased. Then we were given complaint numbers 109C5260942, C[protected], C09A1307769, during the past two months. The last one was dated 13 Oct 09. On the last three visits the problem reproduced in front of company rep, Shubhprashant, luckily for us. They said they will replace the part but have been giving excuses since then. Once they brought the part and the rep said he had got the wrong one!! We have a picture of the part too, enclosed. Today, Nov 1, 09, when we called we were told by their rep Aditya Srivastava and Khitij that the complaint showed as having been solved at this complaint number, and that the problem was of no picture; clearly the complaint definitoin had been tmpered with, and without checking with us the complaint as closed.

                  Any advise will be helpful.

                  Please do not buy LG TV's. Their behaviour is not only unprofessional but fradulent.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        Last month I saw in Tamil news paper - Dhina Thanthi, They said tht CFL Material Plant cost is Rs. 10000/- then I take the DD on 08.09.2009 then I send it one through professional courier. After reaching the DD they are talk with me just 3 days. They said Your machine is coming today, tomorrow etc., After 3 days they didn't willing to take phone calls, and cut my phone call also. After I was struggled them, they send only 53 pieces of raw materials. So what can I do? Rs. 10000/- is very huge amont for me! Then whom to I am complaint? I want to recollect my amount, please give me a suggestions.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I purchased the LG TV "FLTRON" model 29 inches screen on 15th August 2008 for my mother on her Birthday but suddenly on 25.10.09 Tv went off. Try to contact The LG service people but proper response was not there one of the service engineer Mr.Jigar shah visited my house after many times called on his cell but even then TV remained disrupted for more than a week.He is not able to find whats the exact problem.

                          He checked and say may be IC is gone and need to replace the same, He took the motherboard and next day in the evening he came to my house again and say there is no problem with motherboard need to check the voltage in the coil. He called his senior service engineer many times from his cell for different types of queries its shows the standard of your service people and Training given to them is not proper.
                          TV was attended leisurely by the service people with similar period of disruption.Until today it is not repaired.

                          Now Mr.Jigar shah says he needs to take TV to service station to see whats the problem?
                          May be picture tube is not working?
                          He is also not sure so instead of wait for full 6 days and given such a Rubbish answer is not at all acceptable from company like LG.

                          Its just a more than year and Picture tube is gone shows the how much company like LG concentrate on Quality standard of the product.

                          Height of the thing is Mr.Jigar Gave me his visiting card of his firm Vardhman Electronics and offer me that he will do the repairing at his firm with less cost then LG. Now tell me what to do in this matter?
                          That means you people are charging extra for the same service provide by your own service engineer.

                          One more thing that Your service engineer is also not happy with your products and laughs on me and say i never buy LG products he owns only samsung product at his house its shock to me as till yesterday i used to be the LG loyalist I have TV,Refrigerator,DVD,Microwave of LG But because of this type of service i will never buy or recommend any one to buy your products.

                          I am preparing to go to consumer forum for redressal but before that I thought of lodging my complaint to you. Me and my wife working and my parents are retired and TV is the only source of entertainments for them so its my humble request to take necessary action against your service people and provide solution by EOD.

                            I have purchased LG KP 115 Mobile Handset on 16.03.09 from M/s Sri Ram Sales. In the mean time i have found that my mobile handset create problem i.e LCD, network & Voice problem. For this i have submitted my mobile from your service centre in 4 Times details as below :

                              I have two disputes with YLG. I took a YLG Gold Plus membership for 3 months.
                              I thought I would try the 3 months Introductory offer first and then extend it later if I find it good. But they did not give me the welcome kit with the introductory offer. They have promised me to verify it with their MD and let me know immediately but they did not. I wrote this to their Marketing Manager as I did not find any MD on their websit.According to me it is clearly written that the welcome kit is for any YLG Gold or Gold Plus member as an introductory offer.But it has not been given to me.Also I wanted to know that if I am not satisfied with YLG for any reason how do I cancel my membership? They also told me that they will ask about it and let me know but I did not get any response till now.

                              Then I was told before joining that if I am not available for a certain period then they will extend the services for those many days but later they said that they have to send a letter to the MD seeking permission. I didn't think there should be any problem in doing so after paying such a huge amount. Then I could not go to YLG from 16th Sept to 12th Oct and also for a week in the month of Aug. I gave an application on Sept and wrote a few mails also.Now I am told that the services cannot be extened as they don't have any such policy.Isn't it is cheating? If this was so then they should not have told it earlier and I would not have taken the membership for 3 months when I cannot predict when and how I will fall ill.They just lie to the customer and then trap them.If they don't have such policy they should know it very well and should tell it on the day one or before joining only.What would they do if a customer uses their services and does not pay? It is like that only. I have already paid to them and now they are denying the services.I hope strict disciplinary action should be taken in such cases.I would like to know what I have to do right now?

                              I support her fully that strict action should be taken onsuch cheaters so that they don't do such things with everyone.
                              I also agree with them.There are few other bad reviews about YLG till now and they are such a new co.

                              YLG Salon And Spa — shutdown of mumbai outlets

                              I had purchased membership of YLG for mumbai salons. Unfortunately all the salons in mumbai have been shut down without any prior information. They had charged me 3000 for membership card. have sent them various mails for refund. have not got any refund

                                We bought a refrigerator(Model No: 195SADG5) on September 28th from TMC showroom in Hyderabad and it was delivered on Oct 1st and there were some major damages in the delivered piece and it was to be replaced with a new refrigerator. Everytime we call them they just say that they will be delivering that in 2 days and its still continuing. To Hell with the service of LG people.

                                Its a month by today and still the damaged piece is lying in our House...

                                I bought a refrigerator from eZone showroom in Perungudi Chennai.There were some major damages in the delivered piece and it was to be replaced with a new refrigerator. Everytime we call them they just say that they will be delivering when they get stock on the same model.

                                  This is to intimate that I had purchased LCD TV and LG home theatre on 14 Oct 2009. Installation of LCD TV was done on[protected] but till now Home theater has not been installled even after booking request for installation nearly four times.
                                  When ever I called your toll free number , all that they have done is giving one more request ID. It has been now almost 13 days but still waiting for installation of Home Theater system. I heard that LG is having very renouned customer care personnels and network , but this initial experience has compelled me to say that its not.

                                    I had purchased a LCD 32 inches T.V. model is -LG LCD 32LG80FR from Electronics Paradise North, 13 Vaishali main road Pitampura on 08.10.09.The product has a defect, it's USB device connecter is not functional.Person, Mr. Mahesh came to attend the complaint n demo (Service request no. C09A242695) checked the product and found that the USB device connector has some problem and he forwarded the complaint in the LG office to Mr.Amit Vasan (supervisor Rajouri Garden, LG) but no action has been taken so far. The product is under warranty. We have again reminded the concerned people but no appropriate answer was given .Please take the necessary action soon as we are unable to use the bought product properly.It is a very costly item and should be replaced immediately with a new ,properly functioning T.V.

                                    LG 32LG80FR LCD TV — Poor Service

                                    Hi Friends.
                                    I have purchased LG LCD TV around June2010. On time of demo we have found that there is problem in reception of few channels. I have registered the complaint on 21Oct10 (C10A2318338) on registration I have been informed that the complaint will attended within 24Hrs; however it was attended after 8 days that to after repeated follow-up with local LG service center. The issue is still not resolved as some components are required for same.
                                    The service center / call center has very good excuse every time you call them "No power", "System is down", "e-mail not working" etc.
                                    I would just like all that the product may be good?? but service is very poor.....

                                    Please make sure you have good service of any product before you bye any product of any company.

                                      I have purchased 47" LCD from Vijay Sales (Thane) on 19/10/09. The installtion for the same has not been done till today. I have called LG cust care at least 8-10 times. Every time I get a reply that it will be done on that day. So pathetic, insensitive, unprofessional and inefficient is LG's after sales service that I am thinking of publishing my story in Mumbai Mirror in coming Wednesday issue since I am a journalist. I will see to it that LG doesn't get scot free. I shall never buy LG product again and I will advise all others against buying LG products.

                                        I would like to highlight the unfair means being practised by a shop Anandamela located in heart of Kolkata city (gariahat), I have ordered LG MC8080 PRR model 30 ltr Microwave oven with them on 15th Oct'09 and was confirmed that the equipment will be delivered to my residence on 16th Oct'09 EOD. The entire invoice value has been given through my credit card on 15th Oct'09 itself.On repeated follow-ups, everytime I am being promised for delivery the next day, but till date I have not received the product. I have enquired with LG on 20th Oct'09 and spoke to their Sales manager Mr Hitesh, responsible for that area. He was of the opinion that all the deliveries for the orders booked by Anandamela during the festive season has been dealt with. I as consumer in no position to understand who is telling the truth. I am pretty confident that this shop is practising unfair means to hold on to consumer money and use it for some other purpose. The shop is manned by some sales represenatives and there are no responsible manager available to take care of the consumer complaints. I am very frustrated with this establishment and seriuosly want to cancel the order and get back my money, help me to bail me out of this problem.
