I mohd rafiq, had purchased a lg flat slim model no 29fg2rge ctv on 12th january, 2008 from ajanta electronics, sakinaka, mumbai. The tv was faulty having patches which on complaint the dealer got it replaced but the replaced tv too consisted of the same problem which then the dealer forwarded to the company.


A technician was sent from the company who visited my place and adjusted some yoke in the tv which was of no use and indeed the patches increased to the worst .Then the tv got replaced by the company on 12th february, 2008.The replaced tv had the same problem on which i asked for a senior engineers assistance, to which a technician mr rajbhar visited and said that he would send his senior to see the problem .A senior engineer mr. Singh visited my place after 2-3 days and to my surprise he explained me the difference between a mercedes car and a maruticar .It was really great to know that you have people who can explain such things rather than what their work is, he assured and promised me of inquiring whether the same problem occurs in other tvs and would call me, but he dint returned even a call.
The other technician i.E. Mr rajbhar said to me that your tv is cheap therefore it has such low picture quality which he said in front of the dealer. Is it that you make big promises about your globally renowned products that are said to be best in class and of the highest quality which your own technicians consider to be a cheap product.
Now i too think that your senior engineer and technician were correct about the quality of your product.
By now i am fed up of your cheap quality of service and product .I even called up the mumbai branch manager mr. Ankur joshi (Mobile no. [protected]) on 11th april, 2008 who assured me of returning back a call for a feedback and said that, "i know my job". And now even after 4 days i understand how much he knows about his job and on what basis lg appoints responsible people that too in customer services.
I am totally frustrated and exhausted by this sort of irresponsible and irritable behaviour of your technicians, senior engineer, service manager and dealer.The dealer even insist me on getting other brands. You make big promises about the quality charter, your customer services, responses and quality products and even the 6 sigma's.
At the end i would like to say that i want a refund in a week or else i would to my dissatisfaction would hav to go to consumer guidance society and other such organisation to put a light on your customes services and your commitment to excellence and quality as mentioned in your advertisements and booklets.
I hope to notice some response or action as soon as possible

LG / LCD 26 Inches — Poor Customer Compaint

Hi

I purchase LCD last month and from day one the speakers were not right. I lodged the complaint with customer care on 30th May, 2009 under ID is N9C53012151.
The engineer visited my place next day with no solution and commitment that he will come tomorrow and rectify the same. Nothing happened after that. The prolem still exists. I called up LG Customer care twice but nothing happened.

I do not know why and how the company's like LG are still existing in our country with this customer service approach.

Shame on LG Guys.

LG NOTEBOOK — service centre irresponsible

I have a lg notebook E500, which i purchased from spain, i was in india baroda gujarat.when i had a problem with my notebook, it was not starting, so i searched and consulted local lg service centre, i showed thm laptop and they told me that the motherboard of laptop is not working and told me that it will take few days to repair it and it will be expensive.i did not gave them laptop and when i took the same laptop to LG SPAIN they told me laptop is absolutely fine and there may be some problem with power supply in india.so i want to complaint against stupid service centre people who told me motherboard is not working, while it was working properly.i will also claim them for paying me compensation.

LG Two Ton Split Air Cnditionar — A C got into flames in the Drawing room fortunately we were awake

LG Mobile 6600 — Service not provided in warranty period

this is saeed usig LG 6600 mobile. my date of purchase is 10.06.2008 so as per company rules the warrnty is till 09.06.2009, yesterday i visited their service centre as bluetooth of my mobile was not working, they told me to provide bill which i was not carrying yesterday (as i was not aware neither told by reliance customer care), today i visited again with the bill and they refused to resolve the query saying the handset is out of warranty, yeterday i could not make it as i had to go to office.

LG India Ltd / Refrigerator — Malfunctioning of the Refrigerator

I had purchased a 390 lit LG make refrigerator from M/S Alang Ispat (Samudra Sales) at Jamnagar (Guj.) in April 2007 for Rs.24000/-. The machine started giving trouble of excess cooling from the very first month of purchase as a result of which the materials kept in the basket got spoiled and I was not getting the value of the money spent in buying the product. The matter was brought to the notice of the service engineer who visited and tried his level best to adjust the temperature settings but could not succeed. The problem persisted even after some part was also changed and it was proven that the defect is a manufacturing defect. After a long and gruesome follow up of almost a year, the company agreed to replace the machine but informed me that the model which I had purchased had become obsolete and I was made to pay an additional amount of Rs.3050/- for a so called higher version (model) which is exactly the same (at least I did not notice any difference). The additional amount was nothing but the depreciation value for the machine for 1 yr. To my utter surprise, despite of all the above there was no respite for me as the problem of excess cooling persisted in the changed machine also.

I have been following up with the company’s branch office at Rajkot / regional office at Ahmedabad / corporate office at Noida thru customer care services but all in vain and I have been suffering till today. I would like to take up the case thru your good offices for resolution of the problem once for all in terms of the refund of the amount and a suitable compensation for the mental tension and agony I have gone thru the last 2 years and also the material loss I have incurred all these days.

LG Refridgerator Frost Free Model - 295 Ttg4 — Faulty Product and Pathetic After Sale Service

I purchased a Frost Free Refidgerator Model 295 TTG4 on 23/09/2008 from U S Shoppe, B-3/62, Ground Floor, Janak Puri, New Delhi-110058. Soon after couple of months of purchase, cooling in the lower section deteriorated / decreased. The problem became severe in May 20009 and I telephonically lodged a complaint on [protected], however no one from LG India bothered to visit my residence and rectify the problem. I have filed several complaints, but I have failed to get any kind of responce from the LG India. Details of my complaints are as under:

LG Air Conditioner — POOR SERVICE AND RUDE BEHAVIOUR BY SERVICE CENTRE

WHEN I GOT A NUMBER OF SERVICE CENTRE NEAR MY HOME, THAN THEY REPLIED ME THAT IT WILL TAKE MINIMUM OF 5 DAYS.WHEN I TOLD THEM THAT IN HELPLINE PERSON HAS TOLD ME THAT IT WILL BE REPAIRED WITHIN 24 HOURS. THEN THAY TOLD ME THAT THE HELPLINE PERSON DONT KNOW ANYTHING. IS THIS IS THE WAY U GIVE SERVICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. IF YOUR COMPANY IS PROVIDING IS SUCH A BAD SERVICE THAN I AM SORRY YOU ARE LOOSING YOUR CUSTOMERS.

LG India — Manufacturing defect in refrigerator & bad service

I purchased LG double door refrigerator on 26 May 09.

And this is to give a complaint about LG INDIA COMPANY WHICH OFFERS a very bad experience after purchase experience and product servicing. 24x7 helpline and service for LG India is total false and completely fraud.

1. On 18 June'09 i.e. before just one month o[censored]sage the refrigerator stopped working.

After calling up LG service helpdesk the person name Mr Shetty was not responding to the calls and was giving false assurances of sending person for repair.
We followed with multiple calls with a total irresponsible treatment from the service helpline i.e. Mr Shetty.
The complaint made on friday 18June'09 and was address on 22 june'09 after continues calls and followup from us. Thus we have come to conclusion that 24x7 helpline and service for LG is total false and completely fraud.

2. After the service person attended and checked the refrigerator told that 'GAS' is finished !! The LG refrigerator was used only for 25 days and the gas is over.I t is total ridiculous of gas getting over in 25 days o[censored]sage. So this is definitely a manufacturing defect and we demand to get a replacement. But the company refused to give replacement of the refrigerator.
This experience has taught me LG product are total useless and i will never henceforth like to purchase a LG product.
