I mayuresh athalekar had applied for reprint of PAN on[protected]. Application ACKNOWLEDGMENT NUMBER: [protected] . I have submitted and called customer care services for 4 times till date (call of 15 min each min. due to NSDL worst customer care service) and still keep on getting very irresponsive mails every if i have submitted valid proofs to NSDL mail id. I believe NSDL PAN service is worst service i had every encountered.

This is with reference to change of address in my Demat / Trading Account – Being harassed by HDFC – Demat Service - Koramangala Branch – Bangalore (since more than three months).

Firstly, I want to tell that I am holding my account in HDFC Bank since more than seven years (Delhi and Bangalore) and never expect that they will harass me only for changing of address in my Demat which I am maintaining at Kormangala – Bangalore.

Here is brief story how this Branch has harassed, wasted time and money only for Change of address in my Demat Account.

Firstly, they have told me to for having change of address you can prepare rent agreement on stamp paper. Accordingly, I have done that.

When I have gone with rental agreement at bank, they told that we will not accept rent agreement you must have electric to telephone bill.

Accordingly, I have taken new mobile connection (Though it was not necessary as company is providing to me but I have taken only for above requirement) at my new address.

When, I go with Mobile bill new address and rental agreement, they told we will not accept these proofs. You have to submit any govt. letter comes at your new address.

I have filed my Income Tax Retun by post. They have sent acknowledgement at my new address.

I have gone to bank and shown the proof of new proof of address as an acknowledgement received from Income Tax.

Then they have denied that we will not accept this address proof. You have to take landline telephone connection.

If I argue that why you are harassing me they argue with me and “says it’s NSDL rule”

I ask whether NSDL says that you harass to customers as above by unnecessary wasting of time and money as it happen in above case.

I Anamika Jain had given pan application of Ack No. [protected] my mobile no [protected] regarding the correction of my fathers name which is printed wrongly, in this context i gave my passport as proof. the rectification department is still asking for class 1 letter from guested officer which i dont accept passport issued by Government of India is more than sufficient in this matter more than this how a guested officer will confirm you regarding my fathers name. It has been already completed 4 months still the matter is pending on your side.

I have applied for PAN card in NSDL vide acknowledgement no. [protected] on 27/04/2005. For acknowledgement they (Karvy) issued me a receipt No. 8427 on the same date for Rs. 66.12.

I am filling my returns and have received amount from the department on account of my PAN number then alloted on their web site. My PAN is AJEPB4406E.

I have not received my PAN card till date.

Can anyone help me in this regard as how to obtain my card?

i submitted my pan card application ONLINE. As I am an NRI, I enclosed copies of Pan Card, Pan card allottment letter, Electricity Bill as proof of addresss of my representative assessee. for numerous times i get a msg in my e mail that " Proof of address of Representative Assessee is not as per the application or middle name is missing and all nonsensical reasons. Payment instrument submitted along with the application was promptly sent for collection and debited to my account. This all happened two years back. For more than 7 times I submitted copies of applications with required details through e mail. but all the times i got above response denying processing of the PAN card. Can somebody guide me how should I tackle this situation. Thanks: JDS

it is really heartening to see such a negligence prevailing at this level. departmental workers are totally indifferent to the original Objective of issuing this card. i feel that outgoing payment in salaries to these employees should be based on actual performance and not their status or position within the organization. these people are a liability and burden to nation. wasting precious tax paid by our countrymen.

I find it odd that they require a diffferent size photo than regular passport size ones. I have inquired in many places in London where I live but no-one seems to do this strange size of 3.5cm x2.5cm. Plus for attestation three different authorities are involved who each charge ten pounds per page and documents have to be posted by secure post which is also costly. Also NSDL want DD and does not accept cheques. When I twice e-mailed to ask which Assessing Officer and Area Code would be applicable to an NRI they replied that I should refer to their website which is as clear as mud to begin with. I think they are hell bent on making things as difficult as possible and harrass public. Usual Indian mentality!!

To reissue the PRAN card and I-PIN/T-PIN, you need to submit the Subscriber details Change Request Form (S2 Form) to your respective PAO (Pay and Account Office) through DDO (Drawing and Disbursing Officer). Please mention your active Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN) in the form which is your user ID.

After receiving your S2 form, PAO will capture & authorize the request for re-issue of PRAN card and I-PIN/T-PIN in CRA system by logging into NPSCAN website (www.npscan-cra.com) using the I-PIN provided by CRA to PAO at the time of registration, CRA will send the PRAN card and I-PIN/T-PIN to your PAO.
