On 24/02/2012 by 9.30 pm, I have booked tickets for Ghost Rider through PVR(Chennai)legal website for sunday(26/02/2012) show 16.40 for 4 members through my Indian Overseas Bank Net banking Ref no:CCAV-CCA12BAEM834-O120224-NET. However, Ticket was not generated but Rs.600/= was debited from my Account, also i didn't get any confirmation message from your side.

So, I kindly request you to arrange for Refund.

    Even for me I got the same message. I have booked ticket on 29/04/2011 also I have sent a mail to [protected]@pvrcinemas.com . But still I have not received any mail or the refund of Rs. 300/- to my SB account.

    On 28/04/2011, I was tried to book tickets for the movie (NENU NAA RAAKSHASI - TELUGU) for 01/05/2011 – 9:45 AM show in PVR Cinemas through online. It was worked fine from selecting the show & tickets to paying money through ICICI Net banking.
    But finally it didn’t executed and the error I received is something like “Tickets are not booked and money will be refunded”.

    The amount is deducted from my bank account and not yet refunded as of now. Could you please do the needful and let me know if you need any information.

    If i do not get the refund back then I will pass this to all my comapny(Infosys) fellows and request them to stop booking online tickets through PVR Cienmas.

    On 29/04/2011, I tried booking tickets for the movie 'KO' for 30/04/2011 - in PVR CINEMAS CHENNAI.

    While booking the tickets, I was directed to internet banking site where the money was transferred successfully. However on redirecting it said “Tickets are not booked and money will be refunded” as in the cases above.

    However this has not been done.I have four transactions of Rs.300 each making it Rs1200

    Please do the needful asap and let me know if any information needed.

    PVR Cinemas - CHENNAI — Online ticket booking failed - no refund received

    I have tried booking tickets for "KO" movie on 05/05/2011 for PVR CHENNAI. I got the messages saying transaction failed but amount will be refunded if deducted. I have tried 3 times but all failed and none of them got refunded yet. Below are those details

    I also tried to book 3 tickets for the film Maapillai. It went successfully till the end and finally it said, transaction failed and money will be refunded. I tried twice, once using ICICI bank and once using HDFC bank on 30th April 2011. Totally I lost 900/- Till today it is not refunded. My email id is [protected]@yahoo.co.in
    What do we need to do to get the money back?

    hi i meet the same fate today i booked ticket for Kunkfu panda chennai they didnt generate ticket but my money got deduced form my account. one ticket 150 may 28th 7:30 pm ticket. i guess this PVR ppl r showing how they are dishonest in running a business by not keeping any phone contact details in their website. feeling too anguish on them.

    I had booked for 8 tickets(Leelai May 5th 2012 FOR 4:15 SHOW) thru online on May 4th 2012 at 1 :50 p.m. ...it failed twice and the third time the transaction went on well. At around 2:30 i got a msg from PVR saying today at 4:15 ur tickects have been generated...i dono how they can change the dates?????     On 15/09/2012, I was tried to book tickets for the movie (Thandavam - Tamil) for PVR Cinemas through online. It was worked fine from selecting the show & tickets to paying money through ICICI credit card.But “Tickets are not booked.

    The amount was deducted from my account through the transcation 490501 Rs 614.83 and not yet refunded as of now. Could you please do the needful and let me know if you need any information.

      Dear Sir / Madam,
      This is w.r.t. the 3D glasses that were distributed during the screening of RIO movie at PVR ---- Nirmal Lifestyles Mulund (W) on 23rd April 2011 (03.30 pm show).
      It was shocking to find out that the glasses distributed were only of one standard size and there was no provision made for children.
      I never expected an organization of the calibre of PVR to be so in--sensitive towards children, when such animation movies are made keeping in mind the target audience to be "kids".
      How can an organisation like PVR not think about the target audience and just think about cutting costs by handing--out only standard size 3D glasses ??
      It was so frustrating to hold the glasses onto my child's eyes all the while so that it does not fall--off.
      Eventually he had to watch the movie without one. I am sure one can understand how bad the resolution is when you watch a 3D movie without glasses.
      I expected that multiplexes like PVR will be more sensitive and not just think about cutting costs.

      I would appreciate if you can highlight this issue so that parents who take their kids to 3D movies dont feel let down and the kids are not left feeling disappointed.

        I booked ticket for Yutham Sei on April 1,2011 thru pvrcinemas.com site using by standard chartered net banking for 10 persons totalling to Rs. 1500.
        After payment, it said transaction failed and it will refund the money.
        Money is not returned back even after several hours. I checked google for similar complaints and to my surprise i found pages and pages of complains all over india every one stating the same issue and their money not refunded even after 3 months. That moment i realized how bad cheater is this PVR cinemas and almost lost hope of recovering it.

        Significant things about PVR Cinemas online booking scam:
        1) Many complaints of same nature are way back from several years ago. This denotes, this is not a temporary fault in their website or transaction processing. They are maintaing this fradulent online booking system for stealing money from customers for several years.
        2) There is no phone nos for even supporting their customers anywhere in their site. It shows how little they care about customers. They know they are stealing money and they are keeping their ears closed.
        3) There are hundreds of customers complaining online about this non refund issue. I have never seen this many complaints on a single issue against a smaller scaled service company. This clearly shows, they dont want to refund in all cases. They are impartial to all customers in this regard.
        4) After a transaction failed, a small box appears and it shows the transaction is failed but money will be refunded even if charged. This information is cleverly used to make the customer believe that the service is properly functioning to keep them cool and use it again.
        5) When u send a mail to them regarding this issue, we dont even get an acknoledgement and there is no response from them at all. They dont have any intention of supporting the customer, they dont want to refund the money. Thats it, atlast we have found another big online scamster.


        Will i get my money back, i dont think so without huge efforts. Anyway, this is a lesson learned.
        I will tell atleast 1000 people thru my multi level network and make them aware of this PVR cinemas scam and make them stay away from it.

        Pls tell everyone to stay away from PVR cinemas online ticket booking.

        PVR cinemas, chennai — money not refunded from PVR

        Dear Sir,

        I tried to book a movie in tamilnadu ( BASS (A) BASKARAN) on 9/9/10. I paid the amount for three times(3 times tried to book the movie) but i dint receive any ticket confirmation. Each time i have been deducted an amount of Rs.280.. (280*3=840)

        Each time when i tried to book, I found a display message stating that,your ticket is not confirmed and your money will be refunded.

        i have booked two tickets of the movie Dabang-2 (December 24 -2012)for the show 12:50 pm (Monday). Money has been deducted from my account(last four digits of my account are 5314).However i did not get any confirmation from PVR side. i would urge please refund my Money or Message me before the movie started. You should rectify the problem and endeavor that it does not happen again.

          I wanted to buy movie gift voucher online using a debit card. while processing the transaction, the pvr website informed the transaction was not authenticated and could not be completed. But the amount had been debitted to my account. There is no proper helpline where i can get the information on my lost money. The Helpline does not exist. On mailing at [protected]@pvrcinemas.com there wasn't any immediate reply. I don't know how i can get my money back or even the gift voucher.

          I had the exactly same experience recently. I also tried to buy 2 PVR gift cards and it showed transaction error. But Rs. 650 was already charged from my account. I have written to the feedback center, but haven't received any response yet. How should i get back the money or how to get my gift cards at least? This is extremely annoying and a form of cheating customers.

          I booked much earlier and got the front most seat in the Audi...extremely disappointed. It became even more embarrassing as I had my relatives accompanying me.


          I got the third row for one ticket I booked later for the same show.

            I had booked 3 tickets from PVR website 2 times on 12/02/11 for the movie MAKE UP MAN(MAL)for PVR chennai,but due to some glitch Rs.900(450.IG41052240+450.IG41052922 Avenues India (p)ltd)was debited from my account(sbi.[protected],but i did not receive any confirmation,instead a message was displayed''TRANSACTION NOT SUCCESFULL YOUR AMOUNT WILL BE CREDITED BACK' but as on date that amount Rs.900 has not been credited back to my account.i hope PVR company will take strong action against my complaint and get my complaint resolved as soon as possible...

                Same problem with me Brother.

                Did you get the refund, I have sent many mails to them, but still no reponse. Drag them to the consumer cart, and claim compensation, then only they would improve. I also booked a ticket, and still no reponse and no refund, I am thinking of going to the court.

                  I have done a transaction at PVR cinemas of Rs 680/- which was failed, on 13th Jan 2011. When contacted the bank, they told it should be checked from vendor side. So, I am trying to contact PVR cinemas, Hyderabad, but no one is responding for the query.

                  i have booked tickets through internet using the gift card option, i had 2 gift cards with me... and i have booked 3 tickets for the film world invasion for 12.03.11 at 10.00pm show in chennai... after booking the amount with one gift card ... i am unable the book for the second as the message displayed was you can book only for one card and choose any other method for the payment of the rest of the amount...in the mean time, we want to amend the same by reducing the number of tickets to 2, which we are unable to do when we went for amend tickets...how to go about it...please mail to madhusudhan.[protected]@sbm.co.in

                    I had booked 2 tickets through PVR site on date 22 december'10 with card number [protected] for mgf metropolitan mall, gurgaon.
                    Due to some error the transaction failed, but money was deducted from my account. I booked tickets again using same card presuming , like usual process, that earlier deducted money will be reversed.
                    But till today(i.e 08/01/11) the money has not come back.
                    Even after providing them with phone no and reference mail id that was used to book the tickets for reference, there is yet no reply from there side.

                    I booked 2 tickets at your website today using my corporate gift card (No.[protected], email : [protected]@gmail.com) worth Rs.500. The total transaction value was Rs.520 and hence I opted to pay the rest of the amount using my credit card. I entered the credit card details but the transaction failed and I received an error message denoting the same. I then opted to go through the same process again to complete my booking. To my surprise, the moment I entered the Gift Card details I got a message saying that there was Zero balance on my Gift Card. On the other hand, I did not receive any email or SMS from PVR, either with the booking details or with the transaction failure notification. None of the helpline numbers are working and the feedback option on the website is also getting timed out over and over again. The local PVR number is going on ringing without any response. This is utter harassment for a consumer and is least expected from a brand like you.

                        on January 14th 2011 i have booked 2 tickets , Hyderabad PVR, 4:50 movie, i used PVR 250 rupees gift card, but the tickets price 340 rupees, it asked me again 90 rupees pay, unfortunately my axis bank account locked , when i try to pay, but again i tried its saying gift card balance is zero, but i have not yet received any confirmation about tickets or gift balance.

                        I have all the conversations with them and videos too, going to legal actions, if any people facing the same problems please let me know.

                            I'd booked 4 tickets for a 12:45 p.m. show on January, 17th (No one killed Jessica movie) through PVR cinema's site. An amount of Rs.780/- has been deducted from my HDFC account for which I got a confirmation message from the bank. But the tickets were not booked. The page got hanged but debited the amount. When I went to PVR cinema MGF Metropolitan, Gurgaon they said that the amount will be refunded if i lodge a complaint here.

                            Requesting the concerned authorities to kindly resolve the matter asap. Thanking you.

                            on 4 of july 2011 i bought 3 tickets for delhi belly for 8 pm show in which i have gien to coupan of free tickets and one ticket was chargeable the person who standing on window swaped my debit card and told me tranction is not done then he swaped it again the also the problem was same then he saw the roll of machine is finshed then he ut the roll and took outthe dupilicate slip i told he that card is swiped twice he told me no sr because when he was swaping the roll was not there. when i took out the money from my atm then i took out mini statement also in which ticket amount was cut twice that is 175rs. my ticket no is audi 5 row C ticket no 1, 2, 3.my debit card no is [protected].i want my money back.my cell no is [protected]

                              I had booked ticket for 8th January 8:30 PM show of "no one killed jessica" through online portal and debited INR 650 twice (because both time there was an error occurred during the transaction) but the ticket was not booked and today when i found the status of my account i do not get the credit of that amount (INR 1300), i have forwarded my concern to PVR cinemas but there is no revert from there end

                                  I have booked 5 online tickets for movie MEGAMIND-3D for PVR-Nariana on date 29th dec2010; showtime 6:30.

                                  At the end of payment of Rs 775 through online SBI banking, the ticket was not booked; a message was appeared as "booking session expired". However, the transaction was done from my SBI account. The transaction reference no. is "CCA10LAAT602IG36963364 TRANSFER to [protected] AVENUES INDIA PRIVATE" .

                                  After this, I mailed 3 times to the PVR Cinemas at [protected]@pvrcinemas.com for this failure, but i did not recieved any responses from them. Even so far, i did not get my money back.

                                  PVR Cinema — Money not returned

                                  I booked two tickets for a movie in PVR Cinema through my debit card (A/C no.[protected]-SBI, Lahurabir,Varanasi) on December 24, 2009 but could not received tickets. I continued the same again but the results were same. In this process, Rs 590 +590= Rs 1180 were deducted from my account. Till date the money was not refunded despite complaints with PVR site. Pl make arrangements to return money to my account soon.

                                    I want to state that while booking tickets online for tees maar khan PVR on 24 th by using internet banking of state bank of India in chennai , tamilnadu , unfortunately there was an error in the transaction all the procedures were successful but i haven't received any confirmation mail , then i checked my account i found that rs 300 was deducted from my account . i knew that any failed transaction will be credited to the debited account 2-3 days , this is according to the rule .

                                    so , i waited for few days , i have sent email to PVR , but they are not replying and they dont have any contact no. as well as customer support .

                                    so i am very much confused how to get my money back .
                                    i have never experienced such a situation .

                                    i had booked tickets through online on 05/05/11 for the movie "ko" 3.35pm show in pvr chennai.
                                    i booked two times the tickets(ref no.1.CCA11EBPO897,2.CCA11EBPP214,)but the tickets was not confirmed both the times & the amount was debited twice for the said reason.later one of the ticket's amount was refunded(ref no.1.CCA11EBPO897) but the amount for ticket with the ref no..CCA11EBPP214 is not yet refunded .kindly take the necessary actions for the refund of my money.

                                      I want to do the complaint for 3D glasses which provide by Naraina PVR Cinema for 3D movie Narnia 3.

                                      These glasses are very highy and sizes are also very bigger which not suitable for kids.

                                      We pay the higher charges for 3D movie but due to high weight and big sizes my kids not enjoy this movie.

                                      I recently watched men in black 3 in 3d with my sister at pvr cinemas in Mulund she and I got two different glasses. She got the lighter one and I got the heavier one and because of that my head started paining.
                                      I request you to give same type of glasses to all, after all we are paying the same price .
