I made an online booking at pvrcinemas.com for 3 tickets on 30.3.2013. The amount Rs. 592.42 was deducted from my ICICI bank a/c. But then the site said booking failed and I did not receive any sms or email for my booking.

I wrote to [protected]@pvrcinemas.com for refund and received below email:

    I made an online booking on pvrcinemas.com for 6 tickets for Love Story of singh movie to be shown on 25.02.2013 at 03:10 pm, payment worth Rs.881.12- was deducted from my ICICI BANK AC no.[protected]kulvinder singh) , but pvrcinemas web site failed to complete my transaction and did not confirm any ticket booking.I approached ticket counter of Centra Mall in Industrial area ,phase I, Chandigarh, in which PVR cinema is located,.

    They have information about customer support an email address [protected]@pvrcinemas.com. Thay told me that after 18 days Mount will be credit in your ac.I check my Ac the paymeant is not received.

My bank confirmed the online payment was approved Rs.636.18 with transaction approval code 178199. I havent received tickets to my mobile or email. No tickets no refund of my money.. Any help pls?

        made a booking for 2 tickets on sunday 10 Feb 2013. after a successful transaction from the bank's end the page on the pvrcinema site showed error and when i checked with the bank the money has been deducted. I tried their customer care for hours but no response. can anyone help on this. how one can make a formal complaint.

        Money in my account was deducted but i got mail like bad transaction.

          Hello

          i tried to booked ticked on PVR cinemas using Intel appup center.

          Rs 280 is deducted 2 times from my card and every time i got a message there is some error please try later.

          till now i got received any refund. i lost Rs 560 because of this.

          PVR is having very bad site. never try to book ticket on pvr site, i will also raise a complaint in court they not refund my money.

          i tried to book on 7 dec. and now 7 days pased but no refund till now.

            Sir, I tried to book 2 tickets for the movie Life of PI (3D) (Hindi) but amount of Rs. 330 was deducted and tickets were not booked.

              dear sir,

              i have booked three tickets in online. but unknowingly i have booked in a different screen which is far away from our place and since which we may not reach there on time. Hence i thought of cancelling the ticket but there is no option available for me to cancell the tickets that i had booked and no customer care number also for assisting me. we felt bad that why we have booked tickets in such a theater which doesnt even provide proper service in all means . i dont understand how such kind of organisations are left back by consumer forms. some kind of necessary action should be taken against such activity o[censored]nfair means of business.

                I HAD BOOKED TWO TICKETS FOR THE MOVIE JAB TAK HAI JAAN FOR 10:00 AM SHOW AT PVR LUDHIANA ON 15/11/12.
                WHILE DOING ONLINE PAYMENT USING NET BANKING THE MONEY GOT DEBITED FROM MY AXIS BANK ACCOUNT

                BUT AFTER THAT I WAS REIRECTED TO A PAGE WHERE AN ERROR MESSAGE WAS THERE
                " OOPS SOME ERROR HAS OCCURED AND TRANSACTION CANNOT BE COMPLETED"

                MY MONEY GOT DEBITED FROM THE ACCOUNT BUT I DIDI NOT RECIEVE ANY BOOKING ID OR THE TICKETS.

                I HAVE COMPLAINED USING A COMPLAINT FORUM AT WWW.PVRCINEMAS.COM AND REQUESTED FOR A REFUND FOR THE AMOUNT I PAID .

                  I made an online booking on pvrcinemas.com and the payment was deducted through internet banking for Rs. 393/- but the pvr web site did not complete the transaction - it straight away took me to the home page after accepting the payment. The booking does not show in my account on their site either.

                    Hello,

                    There were few people sitting together in group were passing vulgar comments about girls and scenes on movie. There comments were so loud that people sitting on 2-3 rows ahead can hear those comments. And they were also abusing girls in the interval. So, please have some security guards inside the auditorium also who can stop all that in future. We came with our family to watch movie and it was not acceptable.

                      PVR Cinemas Gift Card SCAM

                      Hello!

                      I have 2 PVR Gift cards worth Rs.[protected]x2). But when I try to book online ticket it not saws me payment by gift card option ! Even no option to check expiry date or balance (as per given details in your giftcard faq page!).

                      So, I send email to PVR support team on 24th Nov.12 and I get reply from them on 26th Nov.12 (complain ID: CRM[protected]) that "online option is not available"...

                      i went for a movie to pvr phoenix mills..
                      i brought tickets for 9 people i was charged 2500 instead of 2250..
                      later i brought food was charged 720 instead of 620
                      they have the proof on cctv that they have cheated me they showed it to us after the movie at 1.15 am..
                      after we checked the cctv with the duty manager mr harshal realised his mistake he hit me and 4 of my friends and abused 3 other girls present there...we didnt even abuse or touch them as they were 25 people..he dragged us and threw us out of the theatre..it was totally unacceptable behaviour..he said that if i enter the theatre again he will have me buried in the theatre..

                          I had gone to PVR Cinema Priya, Vasant Vihar on 07 Oct 2012 to watch the movie "English Vinglish". At the start of the movie there was an advertisement that was shown which I deem in appropriate. In Order to promote a TV Reality Show Big Boss, they used the National Anthem. I am against use of national anthem for gaining commercial benefits.

                          Please advise.

                            Yesterday i.e. on 1St october 2012 we went to watch a movie show of OH MY GOD at 10:30 pm and we asked for ticket from the member of staff who was standing there.! We where expecting for very good response.! But he replied very rudley and his response was very very rude.!
                            His response was like we are there to watch the show in free.!
                            3 to 4 staff members where standing there.!
                            One person's name is Amin and other 1 is John and i don't know the name of third person.!
                            I want that strict action must be taken against thsi boys.!

                              I booked two online tickets from my credit card on 19th of september for the movie barfi. While the payment was proceeding the error page was displayed and after that my amount was deducted from the credit card. I checked again in the booked history but the ticket was not booked. The mercandise claimed the money without booking my tickets. The helpline numbers of PVR is never answered. I want my Rs. 394 to be credited in my account as soon as possible. What can be done.

                                I purchased 4 tickets on line from PVR cinemas official site on 15/9/2012 for a show of Barfi on 18/9/12. I used ICICI bank Credit card for the same. Transaction went on smoothly and a charge of Rs.667.42 was informed to me by sms from ICICI. I also recieved an email from PVR confirming the booking and Booking ID PRVH[protected] was given along with the four Seat no.s P1, 2, 3, 4. I am a registered user of PVR and in the my account section of the PVR official site the same was confirmed as well. The current purchase showed there the four tickets to be collected from the PVR Prashant vihar, Delhi, Cinema hall. But i was taken aback when i went on to collect the tickets and was told that tickets can't be given as there is some problem with the transaction.I met Manager Mr. Ashish who was of no help and kept on saying that he can't do anything. i wrote emails to manager and cust. care at [protected]@pvrcinemas.com but no reply came back.i tried contacting PVR head office at Gurgaon but got no response.I called ICICI bank to clarify and they specifically told me that transaction was complete and credited to PVR Hydrabad. I have all the proofs of payment and transaction but PVR would not listen.
                                It's team is giving a very bad name to Brand PVR. It caused me great anguish and harassment. I don't know who is handling the opertions of PVR on line booking but it is in some very bad Hands. please Help!!!

                                  I went to Rivoli PVR Cinemas on August 20th to watch a movie at 7:15.
                                  when I booked tickets at counter I was told Balcony was already full and was told there is vacancy fourth row from the back .
                                  Unable to determine how the hall since fourth row from back would mean 3 rows are balcony (which happens in multiplexes) and then I get the next row with gradual steepening , I asked him if screen comes to level to eye meaning if we are placed not below the lowest point in the screen to continuously look upwards hurting our neck. This was specific to be sure as I work on computer all day and have severe neck problems.

                                  The guy promised me it is to the level of eye and gave me tickets.

                                  Then I entered the hall at 7.15 PM
                                  I was carrying a pack of food with me from nearby Wengers bakery ( the oldest bakery of delhi) . In the entrace it was denied to take inside. Since it was already written on board I complied with it and asked them if they can take care of it. The security guard was completely talking in Hindi my partner could not understand it at all . Finally the food was opened and told to collect it at the end of the show.

                                  Ok everything fine . we entered the hall.

                                  1. we are below the lowest point of the screen. to not panic and not upset ourselves i calmed down and watched the movie.
                                  2. interval . toilets. two of them were filled with urine and a long queue for the other two out of only 4 options available !
                                  3. we move out of other available exit. we take a huge turn and reach the entrance only to find the food wrap was entirely open on the floor near the security guard's legs.

                                  I want to know through consumer forum:
                                  1. why do people lie in PVR management. are they poor. do they want more money. why do they harass by lying?
                                  2. why do cinemas who earn above par with taxes and exaggerated prices would be prohibiting food inside? Seondly why Cinemas should be given licenses to hold eateries. We go to cinemas to watch movies not to eat. but they can serve if they want to but they cannot tell us to eat what they will give at inflated prices.
                                  3. after paying huge sum considering the amount of crowd they are serving they don't have toilets proportional. they have harassed here too by stinking toilets. it is hazardous considering hygiene.
                                  4. what kind of sensitivity do the security personnel have. In country where people die without food the security guard opened the food packet and kept it on floor for the whole length of movie!

                                  Is this the country we are living in. I was appalled because I went to movie with a foreigner who wanted to see a slow romantic cinema and the culture of the country and at the end I was so disturbed by these behaviours.

                                  I am waiting as how this case of total lying, insensitivity , negligence of amenities amounting to total disturbance and harassment to consumer will be dealt with.

                                    I tried to book 2 movie tickets for movie 'Ek Tha Tiger' on 14th Aug through my PVR cinemas gift card '[protected]' and 2 tickets cost around 380 RS so I select 300 RS from my gift card and rest from my debit card but suddenly my transaction got failed and again I tried to book my ticket then I saw that my PVR cinema card have no money which should be 300 RS I have reported so many times the same in PVR and called them with no answer Please help me if possible

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I had booked the tickets for the movie (3D) The Amazing Spider-Man, 6/29/2012 6:45 PM, PVR Acropolis - Ahmedabad thru my iphone app for which the booking Id was ACRO[protected] and for which the transaction showed failed but my CITI bank credit card was debited.

                                      I did received a call and an email (attached below) from the PVR office if I want to avail the tickets or to cancel it. And I informed on the phone itself that I do not want to avail the tickets as I had already booked it at another place. The person on the phone confirmed that he was reverting the amount back to my account. I even emailed to the customer feedback that I do not want to avail the tickets and it has showed bad transaction.

                                      But when I received the credit card statement I was surprise to see the amount still reflected in my statement.

                                      Upon several emails also there was no response.
