I booked two online tickets from my credit card on 19th of september for the movie barfi. While the payment was proceeding the error page was displayed and after that my amount was deducted from the credit card. I checked again in the booked history but the ticket was not booked. The mercandise claimed the money without booking my tickets. The helpline numbers of PVR is never answered. I want my Rs. 394 to be credited in my account as soon as possible. What can be done.

    I purchased 4 tickets on line from PVR cinemas official site on 15/9/2012 for a show of Barfi on 18/9/12. I used ICICI bank Credit card for the same. Transaction went on smoothly and a charge of Rs.667.42 was informed to me by sms from ICICI. I also recieved an email from PVR confirming the booking and Booking ID PRVH[protected] was given along with the four Seat no.s P1, 2, 3, 4. I am a registered user of PVR and in the my account section of the PVR official site the same was confirmed as well. The current purchase showed there the four tickets to be collected from the PVR Prashant vihar, Delhi, Cinema hall. But i was taken aback when i went on to collect the tickets and was told that tickets can't be given as there is some problem with the transaction.I met Manager Mr. Ashish who was of no help and kept on saying that he can't do anything. i wrote emails to manager and cust. care at [protected]@pvrcinemas.com but no reply came back.i tried contacting PVR head office at Gurgaon but got no response.I called ICICI bank to clarify and they specifically told me that transaction was complete and credited to PVR Hydrabad. I have all the proofs of payment and transaction but PVR would not listen.
    It's team is giving a very bad name to Brand PVR. It caused me great anguish and harassment. I don't know who is handling the opertions of PVR on line booking but it is in some very bad Hands. please Help!!!

      I went to Rivoli PVR Cinemas on August 20th to watch a movie at 7:15.
      when I booked tickets at counter I was told Balcony was already full and was told there is vacancy fourth row from the back .
      Unable to determine how the hall since fourth row from back would mean 3 rows are balcony (which happens in multiplexes) and then I get the next row with gradual steepening , I asked him if screen comes to level to eye meaning if we are placed not below the lowest point in the screen to continuously look upwards hurting our neck. This was specific to be sure as I work on computer all day and have severe neck problems.

      The guy promised me it is to the level of eye and gave me tickets.

      Then I entered the hall at 7.15 PM
      I was carrying a pack of food with me from nearby Wengers bakery ( the oldest bakery of delhi) . In the entrace it was denied to take inside. Since it was already written on board I complied with it and asked them if they can take care of it. The security guard was completely talking in Hindi my partner could not understand it at all . Finally the food was opened and told to collect it at the end of the show.

      Ok everything fine . we entered the hall.

      1. we are below the lowest point of the screen. to not panic and not upset ourselves i calmed down and watched the movie.
      2. interval . toilets. two of them were filled with urine and a long queue for the other two out of only 4 options available !
      3. we move out of other available exit. we take a huge turn and reach the entrance only to find the food wrap was entirely open on the floor near the security guard's legs.

      I want to know through consumer forum:
      1. why do people lie in PVR management. are they poor. do they want more money. why do they harass by lying?
      2. why do cinemas who earn above par with taxes and exaggerated prices would be prohibiting food inside? Seondly why Cinemas should be given licenses to hold eateries. We go to cinemas to watch movies not to eat. but they can serve if they want to but they cannot tell us to eat what they will give at inflated prices.
      3. after paying huge sum considering the amount of crowd they are serving they don't have toilets proportional. they have harassed here too by stinking toilets. it is hazardous considering hygiene.
      4. what kind of sensitivity do the security personnel have. In country where people die without food the security guard opened the food packet and kept it on floor for the whole length of movie!

      Is this the country we are living in. I was appalled because I went to movie with a foreigner who wanted to see a slow romantic cinema and the culture of the country and at the end I was so disturbed by these behaviours.

      I am waiting as how this case of total lying, insensitivity , negligence of amenities amounting to total disturbance and harassment to consumer will be dealt with.

        I tried to book 2 movie tickets for movie 'Ek Tha Tiger' on 14th Aug through my PVR cinemas gift card '[protected]' and 2 tickets cost around 380 RS so I select 300 RS from my gift card and rest from my debit card but suddenly my transaction got failed and again I tried to book my ticket then I saw that my PVR cinema card have no money which should be 300 RS I have reported so many times the same in PVR and called them with no answer Please help me if possible

          Dear Sir,

          I had booked the tickets for the movie (3D) The Amazing Spider-Man, 6/29/2012 6:45 PM, PVR Acropolis - Ahmedabad thru my iphone app for which the booking Id was ACRO[protected] and for which the transaction showed failed but my CITI bank credit card was debited.

          I did received a call and an email (attached below) from the PVR office if I want to avail the tickets or to cancel it. And I informed on the phone itself that I do not want to avail the tickets as I had already booked it at another place. The person on the phone confirmed that he was reverting the amount back to my account. I even emailed to the customer feedback that I do not want to avail the tickets and it has showed bad transaction.

          But when I received the credit card statement I was surprise to see the amount still reflected in my statement.

          Upon several emails also there was no response.

              I been to pvr cinemas and boked 3 tickets of cocktail on[protected]. I boked my tickets on the machine . After the whole transactions by credit card the payment is debited from my account but i havn't received the tickets. After that i went to the counter but the said your tickets are not booked. Might your transaction has been cancelled. I showed the message to the manager available over there but he said that i can't help you. You have to book your tickets again. You are kindly requested to please refund my money back as soon as possible. For any information you can call me on my no.

                I was trying to book tickets from PVR site on 13th July and everything was done, payment and all.
                But suddenly system showed transaction failed error, which was "Transaction failed, amount will be refunded". I could not watch the movie as I did not get the confirmation but payment was charged thru net banking. I request you to pls refund the amount of Rs. 500.56 that was charged from me. You early action on this would be appreciated.

                PVR — Priya PVR Movie ticket refund

                I was trying to book 6 tickets of the Priya PVR cenema on 03/12/2010 my trazaction of Rs 990/- was compelete but ticket was not booked and I have not get back the money too till date.

                  Charged me on the online transaction for tickets but no seats allocated and no refund given. Buggers dont even have a helpline where any individual can speak to for one's problems.
                  Try their IVR number and in 1 hr, if you are lucky you may get connected - on this also, you cannot speak to any human voice.
                  A regular feature from PVR the cheats.

                    No option for cancellation

                    I booked two tickets for Amazing Spiderman movie at PVR Cinemas, Bangalore for 15.45 show on 8-July-12. As I was booking online movie ticket for the first time I booked Gold class seat which is very expensive at 750/- per ticket. After that I realized I should have booked Classic Class ticket which costs around 250/-. But when I tried to cancel the ticket & book for Classic option, there is no option to cancel the ticket in the website....

                    Refund of ticket amount

                      I tried to book 3 tickets for Rowdy Rathore on 1 june 2012 for the 10pm show at Ambience Mall, my citibank credit card was debited for 1125 but i did not receive any ticket conf Id and on calling PVR I was told that there are no tickets bkd in my name. Citibank was most unhelpful and could not take any action eventhough it was a wrong transaction. I hope that this amount is going to be credited to my account without any further fuss .

                        I have tried to book tickets to a telugu Movie on 5th of May, but unfortunately i got a error message after payment authentication and i could get the tickets but the money has been deducted from my ICICI account.
                        I have given complaint to the bank and they said money has been credited into the PVR s account and instructed me to contact PVR directly.
                        From last two months i am trying to contact them, i have sent nearly 10 mails to [protected]@pvrcinemas.com; [protected]@pvrcinemas.com; no reply. and even i called to the customer support number, but no one picking the phone for long time... as i have more patiency i tried for two months and one fine day one of the operator picks the phone and when i said about the problem with out any response she disconnected phone, and still i am trying atleast per day 20 times...as the money is bit bigger (Rs. 3600/-).
                        I have never seen such kind of worst response even in goverment banks and government offices also.
                        PVR cinemas customer support can get a Rank 1 for worst support and response....
                        I have booked 2 tickets for the movie "Dum Maaro Dum" on 6th May 2011 of 8:40 PM show at PVR Saket through the telebooking mode through my Citibank Credit Card. I have almost completed the transaction (After the IVR confirms that the payment has been received); the phone got disconnected from the other (PVR) side. I have checked with my credit card company (Citibank) as well and they have confirmed that the payment has been deducted from my account and transferred to PVR account.

                        Under the impression, when I went to PVR Saket to collect my ticket, the automatic ticket machine refused to generate the ticket, I enquired at the counter whether any ticket from my card has been received by them, they simply said no and asked me to buy fresh tickets, if I want to see the movie

                        I purchased two tickets again from Credit card and watched the movie

                        I filed a complaint to [protected]@pvrcinemas.com on the same day itself telling them the whole incident.

                        On 9th May 2011 I have received a computer generated mail from PVR that my complaint has been registered and they have given me a Case ID: CAS-59181-S634DQ for the same.

                        Since it’s more than 3 Months, I am still awaiting any refund from my side.

                        There are no numbers or any alternative email ids available on the website except this one ([protected]@pvrcinemas.com)

                        I am surprised by the service PVR is offering to its customer despite the fact that they claim themselves the largest chain of multiplex across country.

                          I purchased two tickets from PVR Allahabad on Date 24thJan 2012 from my Debit Card of SBI Bank.But during swipe of my Card,Swipe machine not worked properly of PVR Cinemas Allahabad,due this my balance has been deducted from my a/c Rs250/- after not issuing of tickets
                          For the above issues I tried to contact to PVR Allahabad Cinema office many times. But,the concern person is not providing me proper response. He is always refusing me for claim settlement and saying the same issue handled by Gurgaon office or my SBI Bank Branch.
                          For the above issue,i send my details through mail to PVR Cinemas many times but the properly response is not getting to me.They always said to contact your Bank Branch & my bank branch says to me contact the PVR Cinemas.
                          So,request you to Please give me an appropriate direction on at your earlier to overcome my inconvenience.

                            Hi,

                            I was booking the ticket for movie on 6th May, 2012 from

                            www.pvrcinemas.com site (for Mumbai- PVR Mulund) and the Amount Rs. 390

                            got deducted from my HDFC VISA Credit Card[protected]**** and

                            amount was paid to the PVR cinemas but the ticket for the movie was not

                            confirmed.

                            Later on, I got the mail from PVR stating that your amount will be

                            refunded in 7 working day (please find the attachment for the same).

                            But till now the amount is not credited to my account. Even I call the

                            PVR customer care number on[protected]number was provided by PVR

                            tele booking), but no one is picking up the call.
                            So please help me to get my amount.

                              I have made the booking for the PVR Ambience Gurgaon on 29th April - Sunday (TEZZ Movie) - 8:40 Show.

                              I have made booking for 5 tickets - Total Amount of 1700 was deducted from Credit Card.

                              Credit Card - Citi Bank
                              Credit Card Transaction Approval Number: 352334

                              When I went to the Theatre, I was told that there is no booking confirmation with them and the amount will be refunded in 7-10 Days.
                              I had dropped email to the [protected]@pvrcinemas.com but did not received any response.

                              I request you to please refund the Amount of Rs 1700 ASAP. This is a big amount so I request you to please refund early.

                              PVR ticket — Refund not received

                              I tried to book ticket at PVR online website and at the payment step I paid by using my sbi debit card but my transaction had failed and my money was deducted and till date i have not received my refund. So please help me in this issue . The transaction details are as below

                              PVR Cinemas — Refund not received

                              I have booked PVR cinema tickets on 11.08.2011. Due to technical errors my ticket is not confirmed but payment is detected. So far i have not received the refund of 900 Rs. The reference no of transaction is CCA11HBXF173IG62278871 & the amount is transferred to account [protected]
                              I've booked ticket on 31st May for movie 'PIKU' at Phoenix Market City, Pune for show time 05:35 Pm & My booking ID was WM3D4JS. As the show was cancelled due to some technical failure, We were assured that refund will be credited with in 3-4 days, But today it's more than 25 Days. No refund has been received neither any sort of communication from PVR cinemas', When complaint in 'Bookmyshow' they said that refund was handed over at the cinema counter. Amazingly, how can they say that.
                              I had took Bajirao mastani two ticket at 5.50 pm show. But ticket seller give me 3.50 pm show ticket I must say that give me 5.50 show ticket. But he gave me 3.50 show. that time is I can't saw ticket but when I went show time 5.50 pm.there are counter person and manager can't attention me.they told me that is your problem. We can't your help.l lost my 300 Rs.Without saw film.but next l can't see anyone film this theater.

                                I had made online transaction on 11/05/2012 with pvr cinema via axis bank. I had booked two tkt of ishaqzaade for Sunday 6.30 pm show. but i dint get any conformation regarding tkt booking from pvr side and my axis account was debited by 280 rs. after that i called customer care in axis bank they told me you have to confirm with beneficiary weather they received the money or not. i was personally meet pvr executive and told that i dint got any conformation regarding same.

                                  Hi,

                                  I had booked 7 tickets for a 7:50 PM show for movie Titanic on 10th April 2012 .The money was deducted from my account .However I did not receive any tickets.The transaction was made via net banking for ICICI bank. The session got expired and I did not receive any tickets.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I went to watching movie at PVR Cinema. The person of PVR Cinema are very dis-casting. my wife having fast she carry fasting snacks from home but these people don't allow any kind of eatable food inside the hall they said put this thing out side of hall i said where i have to put they said manage this thing by your sources.
                                    How kind of services they provide. They don't have fasting snacks & they are not giving any permission to take my snacks inside. Even the people are not talking in gentle way.
                                    PVR IS VERY BAD IN MANNOUR. STAFF IS NOT CO-OPERATIVE. MANAGEMENT IS POOR. EVEN THEY DON'T KNOW ABOUT HUMAN BEHAVIER
