Hi,

Today i went for PVR Cinemas in Forum Mall, Koramangala, Bangalore. I had booked tickets for Deivathirum Tamil Movie 12.30 PM show onlien booking, i was late by 5 mints, qickly went to KIOSK to collect the tickets but it never printed the ticket noone to help near the KIOSK, so there was a single person issueing tickets and was a big que, while my wife wating in que, mean while i was looking no one to help, hence when our turn came up, we asked for tickets using booking ID, the person was very rude saying tickets are already printed, informed him but was not ready to listen to me, then we went near the entry and asked for manager, who came at 1.10PM saying that, please get in to the movie, when we informed about the time they where not bothered.

When we asked to refund they said it cannot be done and just moved in saying that atleast watch movie rather than fighting here.

i am sinoby...i had booked two tickets for tattathin marayathu...a malayalam movie.through mobile application...i got msg the ticket was booked in h4&h5...i had reached infront of counter before 1 hr...but that online counter starts only by 8.45am(show time 9.30 am)i got ticket only in first row in front...how it happened...?the worst management didn't took any action., if like this means what is the use of pvr application...i want to get an answer from you...

    The box office on 3rd floor of sahara cinema for pvr cinema is charging 110rs for movie ticket of 50rs and compulsory 60rs popcorn combo.

    when i said i dont need the combo and i need only ticket i was refused the ticket. i had to pay 110rs to get a 50 rs ticket and 60 rs combo. youngsters who came to movie are pooling up extra money to pay for that combo.

    i feel like i am cheated ...

      dear sir,

      i have booked three tickets in online. but unknowingly i have booked in a different screen which is far away from our place and since which we may not reach there on time. Hence i thought of cancelling the ticket but there is no option available for me to cancell the tickets that i had booked and no customer care number also for assisting me. we felt bad that why we have booked tickets in such a theater which doesnt even provide proper service in all means . i dont understand how such kind of organisations are left back by consumer forms. some kind of necessary action should be taken against such activity o[censored]nfair means of business.

THE BURGER WAS ALSO NOT SO HOT THE BURGER WAS COLD.THEN WE HAVE TO TAKE THE TICKETOF RS120.NO ONE IN THE PVR WAS HAVING THE BURGER & THE PRICE OF BURGER IS NOT RS70 IN THE PVR CANTEEN.

          Dear I m trying to book my ticket on my mobile to pvrcinemas([protected]) but after payment deduction mobile was disconnect. Due to that reason i m able to get my ticket after that i m trying to contact merchant but they dn,t have any direct customer care no. i have already email to them then they ask for my card detail.
          After given my secret detail like card no they dnt give me any reply and still i m waiting for my refund if anyone know to get refund tell me

          advice- dnt book your ticket in pvr online or mobile

          hi, i have done the transaction online but not getting any reply from PVR whether it's been done or not, but on the other hand i have got the transaction details that this much amount has been deducted from my card.

          if i am calling to any of the pvr numbers -no one is replying on calls -whether it is - head office no./corporate no./ pvr no./rivoli pvr no..

          i mean no one is responsible in PVR.

          PVR SITE IS A BIG PROBLEM FOR EVERY CUSTOMER. PLEASE CLOSE THIS IF YOU PEOPLE CAN NOT REPLY THE CUSTOMERS.

          VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

          I visited Pvr cinema in lower parel. I took a popcorn, samosa and cold drink. But they gave me only samosa and popcorn bill.when I asked him for bill. They denied. May I knw the reason behind this.

            online ticket booking scam

            Online Booking Failed, but Money not refunded.
            I booked ticket for herry potter 7 (3d) on[protected] thru pvrcinemas.com site using by standard chartered net banking for 9 persons totalling to Rs. 1710.
            After payment, it said transaction failed and it will refund the money. when i asked at my bank s branch about it they said
            rs 1710 transferred into pvr s account . its stoles my money . its a peice of shame .

            On O4/07/2011 , I purchased 3 tickets for a PVR movie (located in Juha, Andheri W, Mumbai) by using my ICICI internet banking account, the purchase transaction o[censored]nsuccessful due to website technical issues and i have acknowledged that if the money have deducted from my account i will be refunded, Its now more than a week , I don't see the money refund to my account yet.
            i have charged for RS 1050. I have sent an email to PVR customer support but there is no response, i need my money back, can some one help me how i could complaint about PVR Cinemas and get my money refunded, Will appreciate your help

              Account debited but no tickets !!
              Same problem. I booked 3 tickets for Harry Potter & Deathly Hallows- Part 1 on 9 July, 2011.
              However, after the payment was made it displayed 'Thank you for shopping with us but the transaction could not be processed'.

              I was booking the tickets using HDFC Net Banking.
              An amount of Rs. 825 has been deducted and no other message was displayed.

              The reference nos as per my statement are:CCA11GCQF392-Avenues India Ltd and[protected].

              Please refund the amount immediately. I have put a complaint at [protected]@pvrcinemas.com, [protected]@pvrcinemas.com.

              The customer service should definitely improve for PVR esp when almost everything is processed online!

                I have booked my ticket on 21/05/2011 via online booking on pvr's website. They have deducted my account with Rs. 540/- but do not conform my tickets for the show.
                when i complaint them, they have told me that in 7 working days they have refund my money.
                On 16/06/2011 they have mailed me that they have refunded my money in my account.
                But i cant get refund money yet.

                  On saturday 11 June 2011, I made online booking of 4 tickets for 4.30 pm show of the film 'Ready' in PVR EDM, Kaushambi. Out of the total payment of Rs 660 (150+15 per ticket), Rs 500 was paid through my PVR gift card no.- [protected] and balance Rs 160 through my ICICI netbanking account. While my account and card has been debited for the payment, my online booking was not complete.

                  I have already written an email about this matter to you at your mail [protected]@pvrcinemas.com, but there has been no reply till date.

                  Therefore, I request you to refund me Rs 660 at the earliest. Waiting for your response.

                    Is it possible to retrieve at least one booking out of the two?

                    PVR Cinema — Non-fund of money deducted

                    On December 25, 2009 through ATM I purchased PVR tickets but that were not supplied though Rs 590 was deducted from my account (SBI-Saving A/C [protected]. Once again I tried but result was same and deduced Rs 590 more. Till date 590 + 590 = 1180 rupees that were wrongly deducted from my account were not returned. Pl check
                    I have booked 4 tickets in PVR CENTRA Chandigarh today i.e 16.06.2012 availability was shown in D row. Rs 500 debited from my credit card account but booking failed just after credit card transaction was complete. Again checked and tickets were still available in C row. It is quite surprising and frustrating. No immediate grievance readdress mechanism available.

                      I booked three (3) tickets on June 1, 2011 for the film “ready” for Sunday, June 5th show at 1:05 p.m at PVR Rivoli. When I was trying to make payment through net banking, time was over and payment process was not complete. Then a message appeared on screen saying that your payment time is out and if money has been deducted, it will be refunded. Money (Rs. 735) was deducted from my account (cheque/Ref. No. Was[protected], narration-cca11fbzw291-Avenues India Ltd), but tickets were not booked in the first time. Then I tried again and booked three tickets successfully with payment being complete this time (cheque/Ref. No. Was[protected], narration-cca11fbzw491-Avenues India Ltd).
                      The money that was deducted has not been refunded to my account yet. I sent three mails to [protected]@pvrcinemas.com describing the issue. But till date there has been no reply from them. Also there is no contact no. given at the website. This issue needs to be seriously addressed.

                          I had tried booking for 2 tickets for the movie Hangiver 2 through online booking portal of PVR cinemas on 03/05/2011. Both the times there was a message displayed on the failure of transaction. But I have later found that my HDFC account is debited by Rs 600 (Rs 300/- per transaction) for the said transaction.

                          I had sent a mail to [protected]@pvrcinemas.com regarding the above issue and they still haven't reverted. Request you to please assist me in getting my refund of Rs 600/-.

                              On 28/04/2011, I was tried to book tickets for the movie (NENU NAA RAAKSHASI - TELUGU) for 01/05/2011 – 9:45 AM show in PVR Cinemas through online. It was worked fine from selecting the show & tickets to paying money through ICICI Net banking.
                              But finally it didn’t executed and the error I received is something like “Tickets are not booked and money will be refunded”.

                              The amount is deducted from my bank account and not yet refunded as of now. Could you please do the needful and let me know if you need any information.

                              If i do not get the refund back then I will pass this to all my comapny(Infosys) fellows and request them to stop booking online tickets through PVR Cienmas.

                              On 29/04/2011, I tried booking tickets for the movie 'KO' for 30/04/2011 - in PVR CINEMAS CHENNAI.

                              While booking the tickets, I was directed to internet banking site where the money was transferred successfully. However on redirecting it said “Tickets are not booked and money will be refunded” as in the cases above.

                              However this has not been done.I have four transactions of Rs.300 each making it Rs1200

                              Please do the needful asap and let me know if any information needed.

                              On 05/05/2011, I was tried to book tickets for the movie (Engeyum Kadhal- Tamil) for 08/05/2011 – 9:00 AM show in PVR Cinemas through online. It was worked fine from selecting the show & tickets to paying money through ICICI Net banking.
                              But finally it didn’t executed and the error I received is something like “Bookings are expired. If your payment is done, the amount will be automatically refunded”.

                              PVR Cinemas - CHENNAI — Online ticket booking failed - no refund received

                              I have tried booking tickets for "KO" movie on 05/05/2011 for PVR CHENNAI. I got the messages saying transaction failed but amount will be refunded if deducted. I have tried 3 times but all failed and none of them got refunded yet. Below are those details

                              I also tried to book 3 tickets for the film Maapillai. It went successfully till the end and finally it said, transaction failed and money will be refunded. I tried twice, once using ICICI bank and once using HDFC bank on 30th April 2011. Totally I lost 900/- Till today it is not refunded. My email id is [protected]@yahoo.co.in
                              What do we need to do to get the money back?

                              hi i meet the same fate today i booked ticket for Kunkfu panda chennai they didnt generate ticket but my money got deduced form my account. one ticket 150 may 28th 7:30 pm ticket. i guess this PVR ppl r showing how they are dishonest in running a business by not keeping any phone contact details in their website. feeling too anguish on them.

                              I have booked online tickets in PVR, The money has been debited from my ICICI bank account, As well i got response from the PVR cinemas, that my money has been wrongly deducted, still am waiting for the amount($600) but PVR site could not complete the process.

                              I had booked for 8 tickets(Leelai May 5th 2012 FOR 4:15 SHOW) thru online on May 4th 2012 at 1 :50 p.m. ...it failed twice and the third time the transaction went on well. At around 2:30 i got a msg from PVR saying today at 4:15 ur tickects have been generated...i dono how they can change the dates????? Tried calling to them throughout but no response ...they have 3 landline numbers which i got it from their very own website and justdial ...No use...PVR is making out well thru such trickS...
                              What shd i do in order to get the refund or at least for the tickets for a preferable date????

                              On 15/09/2012, I was tried to book tickets for the movie (Thandavam - Tamil) for PVR Cinemas through online. It was worked fine from selecting the show & tickets to paying money through ICICI credit card.But “Tickets are not booked.

                              The amount was deducted from my account through the transcation 490501 Rs 614.83 and not yet refunded as of now. Could you please do the needful and let me know if you need any information.

                              Kindly refund my money back to the account

                                Dear Sir / Madam,
                                This is w.r.t. the 3D glasses that were distributed during the screening of RIO movie at PVR ---- Nirmal Lifestyles Mulund (W) on 23rd April 2011 (03.30 pm show).
                                It was shocking to find out that the glasses distributed were only of one standard size and there was no provision made for children.
                                I never expected an organization of the calibre of PVR to be so in--sensitive towards children, when such animation movies are made keeping in mind the target audience to be "kids".
                                How can an organisation like PVR not think about the target audience and just think about cutting costs by handing--out only standard size 3D glasses ??
                                It was so frustrating to hold the glasses onto my child's eyes all the while so that it does not fall--off.
                                Eventually he had to watch the movie without one. I am sure one can understand how bad the resolution is when you watch a 3D movie without glasses.
                                I expected that multiplexes like PVR will be more sensitive and not just think about cutting costs.

                                I would appreciate if you can highlight this issue so that parents who take their kids to 3D movies dont feel let down and the kids are not left feeling disappointed.

                                  I booked ticket for Yutham Sei on April 1,2011 thru pvrcinemas.com site using by standard chartered net banking for 10 persons totalling to Rs. 1500.
                                  After payment, it said transaction failed and it will refund the money.
                                  Money is not returned back even after several hours. I checked google for similar complaints and to my surprise i found pages and pages of complains all over india every one stating the same issue and their money not refunded even after 3 months. That moment i realized how bad cheater is this PVR cinemas and almost lost hope of recovering it.

                                  Significant things about PVR Cinemas online booking scam:
                                  1) Many complaints of same nature are way back from several years ago. This denotes, this is not a temporary fault in their website or transaction processing. They are maintaing this fradulent online booking system for stealing money from customers for several years.
                                  2) There is no phone nos for even supporting their customers anywhere in their site. It shows how little they care about customers. They know they are stealing money and they are keeping their ears closed.
                                  3) There are hundreds of customers complaining online about this non refund issue. I have never seen this many complaints on a single issue against a smaller scaled service company. This clearly shows, they dont want to refund in all cases. They are impartial to all customers in this regard.
                                  4) After a transaction failed, a small box appears and it shows the transaction is failed but money will be refunded even if charged. This information is cleverly used to make the customer believe that the service is properly functioning to keep them cool and use it again.
                                  5) When u send a mail to them regarding this issue, we dont even get an acknoledgement and there is no response from them at all. They dont have any intention of supporting the customer, they dont want to refund the money. Thats it, atlast we have found another big online scamster.


                                  Will i get my money back, i dont think so without huge efforts. Anyway, this is a lesson learned.
                                  I will tell atleast 1000 people thru my multi level network and make them aware of this PVR cinemas scam and make them stay away from it.

                                  Pls tell everyone to stay away from PVR cinemas online ticket booking.

                                  PVR cinemas, chennai — money not refunded from PVR

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I tried to book a movie in tamilnadu ( BASS (A) BASKARAN) on 9/9/10. I paid the amount for three times(3 times tried to book the movie) but i dint receive any ticket confirmation. Each time i have been deducted an amount of Rs.280.. (280*3=840)

                                  Each time when i tried to book, I found a display message stating that,your ticket is not confirmed and your money will be refunded.

                                  Ticket booked on[protected] morning at 7 : 40 AM but did not get ticket. the seat is indicated ampty but ticket money was debited. No ticket recieved but money not refunded back.

                                  i have booked two tickets of the movie Dabang-2 (December 24 -2012)for the show 12:50 pm (Monday). Money has been deducted from my account(last four digits of my account are 5314).However i did not get any confirmation from PVR side. i would urge please refund my Money or Message me before the movie started. You should rectify the problem and endeavor that it does not happen again.

                                    I wanted to buy movie gift voucher online using a debit card. while processing the transaction, the pvr website informed the transaction was not authenticated and could not be completed. But the amount had been debitted to my account. There is no proper helpline where i can get the information on my lost money. The Helpline does not exist. On mailing at [protected]@pvrcinemas.com there wasn't any immediate reply. I don't know how i can get my money back or even the gift voucher.

                                    I had the exactly same experience recently. I also tried to buy 2 PVR gift cards and it showed transaction error. But Rs. 650 was already charged from my account. I have written to the feedback center, but haven't received any response yet. How should i get back the money or how to get my gift cards at least? This is extremely annoying and a form of cheating customers.

                                    I booked much earlier and got the front most seat in the Audi...extremely disappointed. It became even more embarrassing as I had my relatives accompanying me.


                                    I got the third row for one ticket I booked later for the same show.
