[Resolved]  Reliance Netconnect — Reliance USB CDMA Modem worst performance

I brought an USB ZTE CDMA 1X MODEM 10 days before from Reliance Mobile in Brigade Road, Bangalore. This is a post paid connection that came with my HP Pavilion Note, thinking about the mobility and net connection speeds up to 144 kbps I paid Rs.3180 for this pathetic internet connection.

The average connection speed I get is less than 15 kbps. Worst case is some times I get connection speed less than 5kbps. At these speeds even simple home page of google.com fails to load. I have done all the basic trouble shooting steps to increase the internet connection. When I called Reliance Customer Care I was transferred to their technical team, which is even worst.

The tower signal shows as full strength but the connection speed is very slow this is because reliance does not offer its customers what its promise. Reliance is company that can’t be trusted. The BSNL Dial-Up connection that I have is far better than the high speed USB modem from Reliance.

To check the internet connection further I even took my note book where there was a reliance tower. It did not make any difference.

Reliance Technical Support is worst. So, I think Anil Ambani should be held responsible for all these.

My advice is, don’t buy Reliance USB modem.

Don't be surprised even if you get a email from reliance people with a qoute

We also agree with the poor service and performance of reliance modem. Now the our modem is not functioning and signal light is not working.
When we approached Mr.Kriba at their local office Tuticorin, he is telling us to go to Madurai for rectifying this since warranty period over for the connection and has not taken any initiative to resolve this issue.
By considering our struggle to go to Maduarai for this, we decided to stop using their faicilty and going to use TATA.

Reliance Netconnect — In correct billing

Datacard number xxxx-31663. I had called reliance customer care on 8th Jan to discuss the procedure to downgrade the net connect broadband plan from 5gb to 1 GB. The customer care executive explained me the process and I told him that I will contact you on the day when I want to make the changes. To these customer care executive without listing carefully change the plan to 1 GB on the same day and that resulted in excess amount of bill for me. I only found that out after 2 weeks when I called again to customer care to actually downgrade the plan.

Now Reliance is not taking responsibility to this kind of Mistake from their executive and asking me to pay the excess bill.

I strongly protest this would like to challenge this decision

Reliance Netconnect — Not getting service through all documents are submitted

I have purchased the reliance netconnect device on 22nd Jan 2010 ,after that I submitted the documents to Vriti-interactive pvt ltd.Then my service got activated for 1 month then it got terminated for the reason incomplete documentation.

Again I submitted documents (To vriti interactive) 3 weeks back but still my services are terminated.Vriti-interactive guys are not picking up my phone.
Please help me out.

Reliance Communication — wrong deduction of money

my complain against reliance communication, i was take 99 rs unlimited browsing internet plan for 30 days from 22 march 2010, but they deduct my balance continuously of 2rs every time, i have done many complains and tell about my problem to reliance customer care many time but they still not solve my problem,
I AM SATISFIED WITH THIS RELIANCE NETCONNECT BUT NOT FULLY
SATISFIED BECCAUSE ITS NAME IS BROADBAND + . IT SHOULD GET ATLEAST SPEED 600 KBPS TO 1 MBPS . IT RUNS GOOD IN TOP FLOORS OF BUILDING BUT SLOW AT GROUND FLOORS, SPEED 150KBS TO 300 KBPS. I ADVISED THAT THERE SHOULD BE ANTENNA TO GET MORE SPEED OR THERE SHOULD BE SOME OTHER WAY TO GET MORE SIGNALS OR THERE SHOULD BE SOME CHANGES IN MODEM .

I am also facing the same problem and these reliance people/employ's are playing ... every one is blaming the other...
and no body is giving the right answer.. they just give me their immediate senior number and ask to talk to them..

I bought a USB ZTE CDMA 1X MODEM and internet connection from Reliance center in Gondia in 4th March 2010

My reliance number is [protected]. I had asked for 2 month bundle offer and they said yes after 7 days my bill is generated and i didn't pay the bill then modem has stop becaause of not paying bill. the things is that they should not told me about 2 month bundle offer

Please take action action against the shop let me know when my modem should start

Reliance Netconnect — slow speed of the device

the speed of surfing is very slow

download speed is even worse

dey r telling it 3.1 mbps whereas it is coming out to be just 20 to 30 kbps
my reliance netconnect speed is so slow that it takes 2 to 3 min to open mah gmail

i would say this is the worst thing i have bought in my life. inflated bills months after months, poor network, worse service, no regard for customer. 2 years being a reliance customer i have learned my lesson. never to buy anything of reliance. i have been harassed so much that i feel frustrated and cheated

Reliance Netconnect — Fake fill generation / No Response

I own a Reliance Netconnect broadband connection[protected]
I gave a service request at [E-18, Part 2, South Extension 1, New Delhi - 110049 ] on 8th may 2010
to convert my connection from postpaid to prepaid.
I also submitted a written form / Identity proof to the executive there.
As executive told me that the I will get a confirmation call in 7 days which I never got till now[protected].

Instead of that I got a bill for the current month.
Also as I confirmed from their Toll free number[protected] that they never got such type of request for postpaid to prepaid conversion.

Please help me in this regard.

Reliance Netconnect — Slow Connection Speed

I have bought a Reliance Netconnect+ DataCard on which they mention we get speed upto 3.1 Mbps but I am not even getting speed of 120 Kb/s even after repeated complaints they are not taking necessary actions. Kinldy fo the needful

Reliance Communication — sms plan activation

Dear Sir,

1. Reliance communication starts monthly sms pack Rs. 39 without my permission and they deducted this amount with main balance every month.
2. On dated 09.09.2010 they deactivated this plan in the night of 09.09.2010 at 11.59 pm and without any information. Where as this plan activated every month at the ending of 30 days.
3. In the morning of 09.09.2010 time of about 7.00 am I have send many sms to my friends but I don’t know that my plan have deactivated. Reliance communication deducted amount of 40 Rs. and after some hours 20 Rs. @ 50 paise per sms. And the same date at the time of about 3:00 pm they activated sms plan and deducted amount of Rs. 39.
4. When I contact with company’s customer care executive Mr. Ankit at the time of 8.40 am on dated 10.09.2010 they tell me that company’s plan deactivated at time but not renew at the time.
5. If a particular plan deactivate at the time why it not activate at the time.
6. I have suffered a loss of Rs. 60
