[Resolved]  Reliance Netconnect — Reliance USB CDMA Modem worst performance

I brought an USB ZTE CDMA 1X MODEM 10 days before from Reliance Mobile in Brigade Road, Bangalore. This is a post paid connection that came with my HP Pavilion Note, thinking about the mobility and net connection speeds up to 144 kbps I paid Rs.3180 for this pathetic internet connection.

The average connection speed I get is less than 15 kbps. Worst case is some times I get connection speed less than 5kbps. At these speeds even simple home page of google.com fails to load. I have done all the basic trouble shooting steps to increase the internet connection. When I called Reliance Customer Care I was transferred to their technical team, which is even worst.

The tower signal shows as full strength but the connection speed is very slow this is because reliance does not offer its customers what its promise. Reliance is company that can’t be trusted. The BSNL Dial-Up connection that I have is far better than the high speed USB modem from Reliance.

To check the internet connection further I even took my note book where there was a reliance tower. It did not make any difference.

Reliance Technical Support is worst. So, I think Anil Ambani should be held responsible for all these.

My advice is, don’t buy Reliance USB modem.

Reliance Netconnect — Worst Service to Rectify the ongoing problem

I am Customer of Reliance Communications for Broadband services. Since July there are issues in there network and I am not able to access internet. While logging complaints with Reliance Customer Care they give you confirmations that problem will be resolved in next 24hours.

Everyday, after 24hours problem persists and there is no communication from Reliance about whether the problem is resolved or being looked, and they close the request without attending it or confirming with customer in there system, hence even next day they expect customer to call again and log new complaint (as Customer can claim rebate if service is not restored in 24hrs). Problem is they expect that customer should everytime call them and inform them rather than they confirming with customer as if Customer is on their payroll and are working for them to resolve the problem (as Customer is the interested party in getting service restored). This process continued for more than 20days at a strech and everyday the experience of interacting with Customer care deteriorated. Even after repeated complaints and insistance on not closing the requests without confirming with me, they everytime closed the complaints without informing me. They sent there service engineer only after 14 days of complaints being rasied.

After 20 long days, problem was restored only to again go down within next 15 days or so and again the experience is repeated with no response and no service even after 18th day today this problem is persistant and yet Reliance behaves and treats with same arrogance of not calling and confirming with me whether I am able to use their services properly or not but bluntly closing the complaints.

As a charity what they offer is to give rebate for the days where I was not able to use the services. But the calculation of rebate is not shared, as a Customer am I not entitled to know what exactly is the basis of calculating the rebate? Also, should I not claim penalty for not being able to use the services and claim for losses of not being able to use services when I needed? How should I get compansation for my losses in terms of time wasted chasing Reliance and reminding them of restoring their services?

Reliance Netconnect — Billing without installation of internet connection

I Harpreet Singh Narang resident of I – 71 IIIrd floor, Lajpat Nagar II, New Delhi applied for a net connection on 02.12.2010 vide CAF no. [protected]. A person naming Akash from A-74, Okhla, Phase 2, New Delhi collected the Rent agreement, ID proof, photo and a Utility bill and a cheque No. 615981 of Rs. 500/- drawn on SBI to complete the documentation.

Ist Lapse on part of R Com:

On perusing the documents, it was noticed that though rent agreement is between my brother and house owner X, the utility bill is on the name of a person Y, from whom our house owner purchased the House.

Akash told us that he can modify the rent agreement with House owner as Y instead of X. However, I denied and requested him that if the application can be processed legally then ok else don’t process.

After this for so many days, we called up Akash but no response was received ever from him. Hence assuming Akash is not interested in processing the same, we contacted another person in R Com to do the needful.

But to my surprise, the cheque got cleared on 29.12.2010 without installing any Net connection.

Against this, I contacted Okhla office wherefrom I got the contact of Mr. Hargobind Singh ASM [protected], who assured me that he will refund the amount within 15 days.

IInd Lapse:

Never ever I got the call from R Com, okhla office even after 20 days regarding processing of my compliant. Hence I contacted again Hargobind Singh who till date has just provided vague assurances or promises that he will resolve the issue and I will get back my money.

IIIrd Lapse:

I got a bill on my name also having Account no. as[protected], Bill no.[protected], Billing account no. [protected]. My question is that since no connection has been installed on my name and I have not given any acceptance, how can I be made a net connection subscriber.

IV lapse:

Billing continued on my name till Rs. 2750/- were not raised on my name and customer care suggested me to give a termination request which i complied. I complained by mail for which no satisfactory response has ever been given.

Further now i have been served with a legal notice by D & A Assocaites dated 12.08.2011 to pay 2750/-. Kindly help...

Reliance Netconnect — Faulty bill, harassment for payment

We are facing a problem with the customer care as we are constanly calling to this number [protected] by the name of Ekta,she is not concern as we are willing to do the payment but the call is disconnected several time from her end. We have been really irritated with all this , first of all we recieve a faulty bill from reliance then when we are ready to do the payment no on is ready to give us the ackowledgement for the payment. We are going to share our experience with all our clients pan india.

This is a last official letter from ourside regarding the same in case you are intrested to recieve the payment otherwise you can ignore .

Reliance Netconnect — Services not provided

I have a reliance data card for wireless internet. My no is [protected]. I had deposited the bill amount of 798. However they updated payment of 198 only and cut my connection due to non payment of bill. I have also visited the Reliance Netconnect outlet and showed the bill that full payment is deposited.They agreed on their mistake and assured that my connection will be started in 15 minutes. My connection has not yet started and I have got a mail to pay 600 Rs as my bill..

I have purchased a reliance netconnect 20 days back..from the day 1 i have been complaining every single to the dealer and customer care no one is responding properly and still no progress at all..Such a bad service i never experienced..The dealers will call so many times at the time of selling but once the product is sold the dealers wont pick our call..Such a hopeless dealers..I suggest everyone not to go to reliance netconnect anytime..

Reliance Netconnect — Neglecting the Refund of Amount paid for data card in disguise of resolving the problem

Hi,

My speed and network issue is still not resolved.

Reliance is giving lame excuses that they have escalated the matter.

EXCUSES ARE NOT ENOUGH AS THESE ESCALATIONS AT YOUR END ARE NOT ABLE TO RESOLVE MY ISSUE SINCE PAST 45 DAYS.
I have paid for unlimited plan but reliance has cheated me by taking advance amount for 3 months for unlimited plan.

I need immediate refund as I am totally frustrated with the unethical behavior and inefficient services on part of reliance communications.
This is total harassment on part of Rcom to sell a device and then not willing to resolve the problem or by refunding the money.

I NEED IMMEDIATE REFUND OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY WHICH RELIANCE HAS LOOTED FROM ME IN THE DISGUISE OF PROVIDING INTERNET SERVICES.

Reliance Netconnect — Not intimated about the rule of immediate activation of plan

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is regarding the immediate Activation of the Tariff Plan. We are not aware of the rule that we need to call atleast 3 days before to get the plan activated untill i call the customer care. As we are not intimated before. This is not at all fare because if we don't pay the bill until the expiry date, we will be getting a call on the next day or the other to pay the bill.Then why not for this service.

Now the issue i am facing is i have been registered for 4 months free rental plan and it had been expired on 27th Oct. I will be getting the bill on 9th of every month. As i am not aware of the rule, i called today to activate the other plan. Customer care guy has explained me about the rule.
Only Because of not knowing about the rule, i need to pay the bill for whole month.

Hope you will justify the issue.

I have purchased the reliance netconnect+ no. [protected] scheme of 3.1gb/s download/month for Rs 750/- per month promising.
Since the purchase we haven't got the promised speed. The usual speed is 100 -125 kbps.
A nuber of complaints were launched but no action was taken.
please take into consideration this complaint.

Reliance Netconnect — poor service and no response to customer

Sir,
i have bought Reliance Net-connect , in the month of November, second week.
at the time of purchasing, i was told , the plan would give 3mbps speed up to 5GB data.
its speed is 0.91mbps.
i have bought the '3 month before paid rental'

secondly, i have sent many E-MAILS, i tried to contact the concerned person, but i have got no response from company's side.
no customer care executive entertain my complaint call.

Kindly, look in to the matter, and do the needful

Reliance Netconnect — RECKLESS AND IRRESPONSIBLE BILLING WITH EXCESS AMOUNT OF MONEY

FOR THE PAST 15 MONTHS I WAS USING RELIANCE NETCONNECT BROADBAND PLUS WITH A PLAN OF WORTH RS.499 OFFERING 8 GB FREE DURING NIGHT TIME.THIS DECEMBER 6 I GOT CHANGED TO A RETENTIONAL PALN OF WORTH RS.600 OFFERING 3GB USAGE IN DAY AND 10 GB USAGE IN NIGHT TIME.SO, I WAS CONFIRMED BY THE CUSTOMER CARE THAT I CAN USE THIS RETENTIONAL PLAN FROM 6TH ONWARDS.
GENERALLY MY BILL GETS GENERATED ON 7 TH OF ANY MNTH.THIS TIME MY BILL WAS GENERATED WUTH A WHOPPING AMOUNT OF 1780RS.
I WAS REALLY SURPRISED AND SO WENT TO THE NEARBY RELIANCE OFFICE TO GET MY CLARIFICATION. AT FIRST , EVEN THEY DINT KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED AND THEN THEY GAVE ME A CLARIFICATION AS DIRECTED FROM THEIR HEAD OFFICE.
HE SAID THAT " UNTIL FIFTH ACCORDING TO UR PLAN THE BILL IS 480 + 20 + 178 (VALUE ADDED SERVICE) AND ON SIXTH UR PLAN GOT CHANGED RETENTIONAL PLAN AND SINCE YOU HAVE USED 1.7 GB IN THAT DAY NIGHT WHICH GOES UNDER VALUE ADDED SERVICE EXCLUDING 341.33 MB "
I GOT REALLY CONFUSED AND ASKED HOW CUM THIS WILL HAPPEN SINCE I HAVE AN 8 GB FREE USAGE BASED ON THE PREVIOUS PLAN AND 10 GB USAGE ON THE CURRENT PLAN.
HE REPLIED ME "IT IS BECAUSE UR PLAN HAS CHANGED ON 6TH TO RETENTIONAL PLAN . ACCORDING TO THIS PLAN UR ONE DAY USAGE SHOULD BE DIVIDED BY 30 SO THAT DAY USAGE WILL BE 100 MB APPRX AND NIGHT USAGE WILL BE 341.33 MB. SINCE U HAVE EXCEEDED THAT USAGE THE EXCESS AMOUNT O[censored]NITS CONSUMED IS BEEN BILLED ."
THEN I GAVE MY QUESTIONS INFRONT OF HIM FOR WHICH HE DINT ANSWER PROPERLY.
MY QUESTIONS ARE:
1. WHY DINT U INFORM THIS FORM OF BILLING WHILE CHANGING THE PLAN .(CLEARLY SHOWS THIS ACT THAT THEY WANT TO EARN MONEY AND NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS)
2.SINCE MY BILL IS SUPPOSED TO BE UPTO 6TH OF THIS MONTH MY USAGE CONSUMTPTION SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT ONLY UNTIL 12PM OF THIS DAY ,WHY DINT U DO THAT SO.
3.WHY DINT I GET ANY CALL FROM CUSTOMER CARE REG CHNGE OF PLAN.(EVEN IF ANY CALLS I HAVE MISSED FROM YOU ,ISNT IT YOUR DUTY TO MAKE SURE THAT I HAVE BEEN CALLED AND INFORMED ABOUT EACH AND EVERY RULES ABOUT THIS)
4.WHY ARE YOU NOT ABLE TO DO BILLING FOR MY PREV PLAN TILL 5TH OF THIS MONTH(29 DAYS) AND THEN START A FRESH BILLING FOR ME FROM THE ACTIVATION OF MY CHANGED PLAN.(FROM 6TH DEC TO JAN 5TH)


"CAN I FILE A CASE AGAINST THE RELIANCE ON CONSUMER COURT"- OR RELIANCE "WILL YOU TRY TO SOLVE THIS IN A CONVINCING MANNER"
The same case happened with me first they are saying that safe custody free of cost for 3 months then suddenly after 2 months that are sending me a safe custody bill of Rs.275.

Reliance Netconnect — not treated properly

I buy a hsd reliance netconnect+ on 23 December from that day i never got the speed which is promised to me that is between 512kbps-3.1mbps
but i hardly receive 60 kbps
i complaint almost 15 times and still my problem is not solved and now i got the calls from reliance to pay the bill of around 1400 which is been not
right because i am unable to use the device and now they are demanding for bill.
please help me put from this condition.

Reliance Netconnect — Regarding UPC Code

Dear Sir

I have a postpaid connection in the name of Surinder Taneja provided by my company owner.
Now from past two months the company is not providing the upc code i have complaints about this around 28 times but still not got the upc code. All the message sent by me reached the destination except the Porting Message.
This shows the company grade i am looking to go back in CDMA after one year of conversion to GSM.
But the company force me too come out of their service and disconnect the numbers.

Reliance/NetConnect — WORST SIGNAL AND SPEED

Hi my self ashutosh pandey my netconnect+ no. Is [protected],i am using reliance net connect+ last one year .
I have problem regarding my speed and i am not able to get connect in high speed/hybrid mode.many times i raised the complaint but it was not solved.
As per ur dealer he allways says that it will come .the latest complaint no. Is 17834103 at the customer care. They respond that it is in weak signal area it will not solve
but thing is that if i am not getting speed that u recommended than why should i pay that much of tarrif.
I[censored] know that it is in weak signal area than why u r allowing to sell broadband connection in thbis area without informing costumers regarding speed.

Reliance Netconnect — no reliance netconnect+ coverage in Dharmavaram as stated in their website

I bought a reliance netconnect+ modem as the company promised me there is reliance netconnect+ coverage in Dharmavaram, andhra pradesh. But i am not getting netconnect+ instead iam getting hispeed1X coverage. when i change settings from hybrid to netconnect+ from settings->Modem, i am not getting any signal.
I totally agree. since the installation the speed is sooooooooo slow have to disconnect and connect. complained but no response. i am regretting why i recharged the prepaid usb data card no [protected] only last evening.
i shall change over to docomo or anything else.
after sales service of Reliance is one big ZERO

cheater and frauds scammers.
the Ambanis own it what else can one expect from them?
