I had purchased a samsung smart phone 18th june 2012...after 2 months its board was became complaint...and i went to samsung service center..and they take 1 month for repairing this phone,,and i got my phone after month..and now its touch pad became complaint..what i do?

    Hi All,

    I am writing this to share with you all the M/s Samsung way of systematic fooling of customers.


    I purchased a Samsung Wave 2 (S-8530) model phone in last year 2011 September. The phone was working good for 2months and then suddenly it started giving trouble in mic then I got it changed after a weeks time. Then it started giving trouble on the call taking hard key. Then it started in sensitive in the left side of the touch screen. Then the total display / touch screen failed.

    Now that M/s Samsung is demanding money for replacement of the failed parts as the phone is just crossed warranty.

    I just wanted to know is there a system to hold the company responsible for the reliability of the product and ask them why they stopped the product in market in a short time? and what are the complaints received so far for this product and with in warranty and post warranty, What is the cost of spare parts and their failure rate etc.,

    Regarding the above I had the following mail communications with them.:

    This is _____________ here writing to bring to your kind attention of a problem I am facing w.r.to a new Wave 2 phone I purchased (with proper bill and from an authorised dealer) on 02Sep2012.

    I was anticipating to be a happy customer of Samsung using this phone at least for a 4-5 years of time as I invested a good amount of Rs. 16,100 at that time on this phone.

    But unfortunately I ended up having to get satisfied with some frequent hanging and auto switch off and on instances. Yet I was going on with the phone.
    Then one fine day I got the mic not working and with the office schedules I could not reach to a service center during their working hours of 10am - 6pm and after a 10 days time I got it serviced.

    Again for 4-5 months it was going but still with the left side call taking button non working condition. I was going on using still.

    Now that the phone started giving me trouble in touch screen touches and erratic behaviors some time. As usual I was going on. Then the left side of the screen has become insensitive.

    And then on a fine morning in the end of August 2012 it stopped working on the display and being a touch screen phone I was completely rendered helpless but to use an alternate phone for urgency and held in work.

    I would also like to mention that the phone was with single person usage with a very normal air conditioned environment and all along there was not any heavy fall or scratch / damage / crack etc.

    I took the phone to service center (******* - Samsung Service Center - Location ****** - Jamshedpur - India) and wanted to check what happened on 10th Sep 2012 around 5.50pm

    They told me to come on another day as the working hours is going t get closed by 6PM and servers will be down afterwards.

    Again with managing the office hours I could go only on 15th Sep 2012.

    Immediately they said the touch screen has gone bad and needs to be replaced along with LCD display unit as this model comes integral. Which will cost me ~INR 7800+ Taxes. This is a huge amount for me compared with the new phone purchase price of INR 16,00 and that too only an year ago. I also requested them to check if the software needs upgrade and they carried out the same for a charge of Rs. 280. Eventually I also lost all the contact details and photos on the phone.

    In this context I would like to request you to look into the matter as a special case and provide resolution with out any additional cost implications so that it fosters my willingness to go with Samsung products in the times to come as well. I would be happy to assist Samsung if this could be any help to you to conduct any technical study on the problem case.

    I would like to confirm that I did not receive any calls from M/s Samsung during the past 2 days. Except for a missed call (got cut within short time) from +91 [protected] and could not call back as the number is saying calling back not allowed. I attended or replied all other calls.

    Meanwhile I also tried your live chat mode but I cam to know it is available only during the week days between 10am to 6pm.

    This is __________ here writing in response to your return mail to my earlier mail dt 15th Sep 2012 . and ref your complaint No: 8******58. And your service center Claim No Ref : 4********2 dt 21/Sep/2012.

    Further to my reporting and your reply on the above case, I have been contacted by your team from Delhi and they requested me to take the phone to the service center again from Tuesday last as Monday was a holiday here in my town on account of Viswakarma puja. And subsequently I was able take the phone to your service center on Friday (21Sep2012) due to the nation wide bandh on 20thSep2012. Accordingly the same was informed to your service center personnel.

    If you can notice during the interactions, I have asked your service team as well what kind of a solution is being offered. They again requested me to submit the phone to service center and it will be taken care.

    While I took off from my work schedule between 1.30PM to 4.30PM and traveled 7+7 KMs and met the service center reps, they spoke to some of the Samsung people over phone and prepared a claim sheet asking me to agree to pay Rs. 4483.36 for this repair. This is something surprising to me.

    Please note that I have already visited 3 times in person to your service center regarding this problem.

    Alternatively, they proposed me for a refund amount for the phone which will be equivalent of 60% of the initial value. Sorry to say but this is nothing but ridiculous to me.

    From the start of the interactions itself, my observation was M/s Samsung office was indicating me that of any decision, solution is in the purview of Service center (or) regional head which I am not able to understand. If service center are empowered to take this decision why it was not communicated to me earlier or why I should come to Samsung head office (CEO cell).

    I see that whatever the decision is to be taken in this regards to be taken by M/s Samsung head office (CEO Cell) based on the merit of the case and instructed to the service center accordingly.

    Hence I would like to request you to check and let me know of the resolution of this issue at the earliest.

      I bought 40inch LED TV on line with invoice No 107040 dated 19.10.11 from Easy Global Services, FARIDABAD. Th panel of the TV has gone bad and needs replacement. The international warranty card was not sent to me by Easy Global and samsung wants it for replacement. The invoice speaks about 1 year warranty and even the carton carries the one year warranty applicable for India. I fail to understand Samsung's commitment to the customers when its products are being genuinely sold in India by online sellers. Washing hands off by saying that warranty card is not there is not going to help and will be losing customers confidence over a period of time. The reference No. of complaint with samsung is [protected] dated 06.09.12. Samsung does not have courage even to talk to the customer directly and makes the dealers converse for the complaint. And the dealer informs that the replacement may not be possible. Can't this be explained by the Samsung directly? What bothers them to do so? not undestandable. Enough explanation/chance should be given to customer for convincing that what Samsung says is correct.

      Samsung — Replacement of TV/ BACK PANEL

      Dear Regional Manager,
      SAMSUNG Flat TV Department.

      Sub: Replacement of TV.

      I have bought Samsung TV Model of 21Z57.Serial No 1963 , Bill no 038.. in 07/06/09 from pravas dis from VASAI RAOD (WEST).Since it was installed back side panel had broken due to assemble problem. We have complained about the same to the dealer and one of the executive had visited from service centre and confirmed to replace the new panel.Its been more than month now that we have been calling Customer care and following up with dealer[protected] / satish name of his mobile no of [protected].
      I am very over-enthusiastic to Samsung product, and in my home more than 80% home products belongs to Samsung.

      I have called so many times, but there is no proper response, after such wonder ful experience I had determined , i will not buy any Samsung product, it was the first experience, I have been mentally harassed by dealer and customer care.

      I would request you to kindly replace my Samsung tv or else I have to go Consumer Court for complaning about the same.

      I have also faced same situation, the TV is still with them. This has happened when I was changing songs from USB, they say the TV panel gone, first they said the mother board gone, second time they said power board gone, and now they say it is panel gone, Samsung is unfair, which I did not expect.       Dear Davinder Deep Singh,

      I onceagain request you and your management to review my claim critically and em pathetically and also from customer point of view. In fact this is the case for your research.

      This is honest confession not for the sake of complaining or getting repaired for small amount. I am a valued customer having all Samsung products as mentioned before. And I am knowledgeable in electronics and software.

      I strongly feel that this essentially manufacture fault, as TV panel cannot go bad because of changing of songs using USB.

      Further more your service engineers have taken me for a ride as they first said one mother board and next time second power board and lastly the panel. Further, service engineer replacing a used board, dusty and twisted and yet challenging and asking me to prove that it is not new. When such a blatant thing goes in Samsung service and yet you are encouraging, how can I believe that they did not spoil the panel, while it was functioning nicely before it was taken to service centre and I being punished, just because I complained. This is suspicious.

      I did not expect this from Samsung.

      I hope you think from my point of view.

      I request you and the management to view it empathetically and settle amicably, I am ready to pay for the service and some cost.

      An early action is requested.

      In continuation of my earlier mail, I onceagain put forward my case; I am Senior Scientist of Atomic Energy, a valued customer of Samsung products, purchased number of things, like LED TV, Fridge, Mobile, SPLIT ACs, Music Systems etc. from Byas Samsung authorised Dealer, Himayathnagar, Hyderabad.

      Let me review the whole thing; My TV set on 1st april, gone bad, While I was flipping my songs through USB hard disc, it functioned very well until while changing one song, the picture started flickering Smart TV and blank and Smart TV and blank. I disconnected the power, USB, and Cable etc, and reconnected, but in Vain, so I called the service support. The support engineer came next day and said the board has gone, we need to replace, despite saying that it should be a malfunction of software or some thing simple, but he said the boards are not in stock it has to come from delhi. After two days he came back with twisted, used board to replace, I said it is not acceptable as it is used one/ refurbished, he argued saying that it is new and please prove if it is not new, despite this he checked, and to the system behaved same way, then he talked to service centre and he said, now the power board has gone, we need to replace that, and on 6th he called me that we will check the TV in our centre, either you bring it here or pay Rs 400 for transportation.

      Then I find that something is wrong with the whole approach and Mailed you on 8th april, to which Ms. Neetu Singh patiently herd my case and she arranged a conference call and assured to get get it fixed. But to my surprise, the service engineer communicates that the two boards are OK now the TV panel is gone, it would cost more than Rs 30000. Considering the sequence of events happened and the approach/ attitude of the service is suspicious. I think problem is simple and panel was working, and now when they are changing used/ refurbished card infront of me and yet justifying its being new, then changing that other card has gone and now they say TV panel gone. This is a suspicious and foul game.

      I am a valued customer and being a Scientist I know hardware and software, I consider that just flipping through songs can spoil the TV panel is not understandable, and if it were to happen by my fault I am ready to pay for it. If service charges are there I am ready to pay for it as it is out of warranty, but costing for panel is unfair.

      I honestly request you to see the whole sequence of events happened and help me in resolving and arrange to fix my TV, I am ready for service charges etc.

        Myself Diganta Guhathakurta from Birati,Kolkata-51.I have purchased a Samsung Galaxy Y phone(IEMI[protected]) from the shop SHIPRA INFOTECH(60,62 Angana Market,490,M.B Road,Birati,Kolkata-51) which is near by my home on 9/11/2011 against rs.7200.But from the very beginning of the date of purchase i am facing the problem just same as a phone used of 3 years or more.And now my phone is almost a useless one without voiding even guarantee period.

        I have visited SAMSUNG CUSTOMER CARE(272/2,Dumdum Cossipore Road,Kolkata-700030,Phone number-[protected] and email address is support.[protected]@samsung.com) as per norms on 24.09.2012.I have informed them about that problem.I don't know what did the do,but on that time after their repairing the phone was ok just for 4 days,but after returned back with my phone today on 24.09.2012 the same problem and some more problems occurred. They have unnecessarily asked me to change my memory card.So i have replaced my old memory card and purchased new one for rs.250/-,,though i knew that my old memory card,which was given with my handset during purchase was ok,,because i placed my old memory card in another phone before going to SAMSUNG CUSTOMER CARE.It was quiet ok. But as there proposal i have changed my memory card for rs.250/-.But once again from today my phone is not taking start.Presently my handset is now dead.

        Sir,I am really helpless.What can i do in this kind of situation.My phone is really essential to me.please help me out for surviving from the forgery of the said mobile shop.and Samsung customer care.Please save me from this fraud mobile shop SHIPRA INFOTECH(60,62 Angana Market,490,M.B Road,Birati,Kolkata-51) as well as SAMSUNG CUSTOMER CARE(272/2,Dumdum Cossipore Road,Kolkata-700030,Phone number-[protected] and email address is support.[protected]@samsung.com).

        My problem is resolved.The main thing is that when Public put my name in google and make a search the entire address of this shop is visible.I did not want my complaint should be visible by everyone along with address.So kindly withdraw my complain or make it private.I have made a complaint for resolving my issue but it is really more problematic for me.Will you make it private so that my complaint cant be visible publicly in Google or It will be a matter of a great fix for me.Kindly take a necessary step regarding my messege.

          I Dr.Shikha Gupta,have been purchased SAMSUNG MOBILE PHONE GALAXY I9003(S.No.[protected]) from the authorised dealer of samsung mobile phone on 12 oct. 2011.From the date of purchasing this handset have many problems and i visit to samsung mobile service centre so many times(about 20 and more times).But problems in handset repeat again and again within warrenty time.These problems was for example- some times mobile touch screen was not working or sometimes keypad not working or sometimes both. L.C.D.,Battery and the Charger has been damaged.I again purchaged Battery and Charger.In this one year i used this handset only five or six months because of these problems.Now from 14 sep.2012, my handset is in the samsung mobile service centre,ashok vihar,delhi.On 14 sep,service man give me a job sheet and told me that my phone will be repair in 5 days but they didn't.Then i again visit to service center on 19 sep.2012 then they told me that which parts of handset are not working,we don't have those parts and to replace or refund of my handset they asked me the original copy of bill and an I.D. proof to sent to the head office and I also gives them.I receive a written statement that they give me confermation of replacement or refund of handset in ten days.Then i visit to the service centre on 27 sep. 2012 but till now they didn't give me the handset or refund.Which handset has so many problems in first year then whats the life of that mobile phone and its very crucial when on 12 oct. 2012 its warranty period finish.I want my all money refunded from the samsung mobile company and also compensation and expenses of convince.
          Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

            I wish to inform you that i had purchased a Samsung LCD TV (Model number - LA32C450EILXC and model number - MPHY3PB[protected] on September 2010.

            However, the picture tube of the LCD got repaired and the same was changed on 09 June 2012 for INR 13,280. However, i wish to inform you that the picture tube has again got repaired on 24 September 2012 within a span of three months.

            I raised a complaint with the local Samsung service center and i was informed that there was no warranty for the spare part and it had to be replaced again. I had also paid fees to the service engineer who had come to inspect the TV. n this regard, we received a call today from the local customer care center in Chennai that the picture tube has to be replaced and since 100 days had lapsed since the last purchase of the picture tube we would only receive a 60% discount. This would entail a payment of INR 5,044.

            I wish to put on record that replacing the picture tube again within a span of three months is not acceptable and i would like to have the same replaced without further costs.

              I have brought a samsung Galaxy S2 in september 2012 ,on the 1st day wifi is not working properly , when i switch on the wifi it says " WIFI IS TURNING ON "then it will stuck with that screen and finally phone will get switched off , and without removing the battery it will not again switch on , so can any one from Bugger SAMSUNG tell me why this is happening for the Brand new phone ... This is i gues one of the bugger company cheating people .

On[protected] the speaker of the handset was not working and accordingly i launch a compliant at samsung service center situated at Onam Plaza, Indore. The executive had told me to change the speaker and the handset will be delivered to me day after tomorrow but still i have not received my handset. The executive said me the part is not available in fact the part is easily available and handset should be repaired in a single day.

                  My name is P.K Jindal, resident of Sirsa, Haryana. I bought SAMSUNG GALAXY S 2, 2 month back.Unfortunately, it has fallen far short of my expectations. When I attempted to use it, I have been network issues with the set from the time of purchase. I am not able to attend calls as the phone gets disconnected every minute.I also approached to Samsung Customer Service Center in my city but was very disappointed as could not get any solution over there.
                  Everytime I visit they give useless solutions like Change your sim card, get your software reinstalled but after doing all that also my problem is yet unsolved.
                  I am appalled at the substandard quality of this product .I paid Rs.28000 for it at retailer. so please i request you to replace my phone due to above reasons, as early as possible.

                  I hope that I will not be forced to report this incident to the Better Business Bureau and state and federal consumer agencies, as well as popular consumer advocacy blogs.

                  So I requested you to please look into my greviances. I will be very thankfull to you...

                    In July my fridge had stopped cooling. I had made a complaint with Samsung and the compressor was changed.I have an invoice dated 21st July 2012.
                    As the fridge did not cool despite the changed compressor,I called again and after a few days of dilly dallying a technician came and charged the gas.

                    Yesterday morning i noticed that the fridge was not cooling and I called samsung a the same old complaint no. as in july, was issued again No.[protected]. A technician Sandeep Aggarwal called in, he declared that the compressor needed replacement. We are shocked that a compressor which costed us Rs.4660 needed replacement in two months. The worst is that they expect us to pay for a new compressor as the repair is more than a month old!!!!
                    The service provider is Sapphire Sales & Service Pvt Ltd. When I expressed my deep anguish to Mr.Aggarwal owner/ Manager at Sapphire he expressed sympathy and regretted that there was nothing he could do as the policies for Samsung were dictated by Korea.
                    Are we to believe that Korean companies are cheats selling sub standard products and spares in India ? I believe that the service being provided is deficient and the service providers are trying to make a quick buck.

                    There is no way to speak with a Samsung official unfortunately and if the matter is not urgently resolved I would be forced to by a new fridge.The old fridge is was purchased on 08.09.2005 only 7 years !!!!

                              I had a network complaint in my samsung galaxy y mobile. I gave my mobile to the authorised service centre "asia electronics" on 20.09.2012, whicih is in warranty period. On the next day they called me and told that your mother board is scratched so it can be repair only by out of warranty,

                              My mobile is previously serviced by the same company for the same complaint. They only replace the mother board to solve the problem. If I said this means they answer irresponsibly and I really disappointed of this kind of service.

                                    3 Times the display and the touch had d same problem and again after the expiry of the warranty the Touch is not working.
                                    i guess its the time when i should rethink before buying any Samsung product.
                                    i personally believe that Samsung only fixing the problem.
                                    During my problem i hv found that that this set has a severe Touch problem.

                                      Dear Sir(s),

                                      I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note N700 set on 04/06/2012, After 3 month the phone stopped identifying the SIM card, Upon contacting the Authorized service center (Union Group) In Heliopolis, They advised that the SIM house needs to be changed & that it should take from 3 to 7 working days. I submitted my phone on 13/09/2012 Service receipt number " WJ12090602 " & was advised to call back in 3 days to check the status of my phone through the customer care hotline.
                                      Now it's been almost 10 days & each time I call the customer care line they tell me that they are waiting for Samsung to provide them with the requested spare part & that they have NO idea when this will be fulfilled !!
                                      I requested many times to talk to the customer care unit manager or a any other Authorized staff member & each time they tell me Sorry they are in constant meetings !!!
                                      I donno who to contact or what to do regarding this issue. Your help regarding this is highly appreciated.

                                        I Purchased a “SAMSUNG GALAXY Y DUOS LITE” on 19.09.2012 for Rs.6790/- . The Samsung dealer informed me that there is a offer of Free 1GB/ month for 6 months on Reliance 3G, looking on that offer I have purchased the mobile, but the Samsung company cheated me in support of Reliance by informing / advertising about the same offer as I have visited the Reliance showroom to activate the same offer, the Reliance officials informed me that this offer in not valid in Hyderabad, due to which I have suffer loss of Rs. 750/- on 3G Service pack for the period of 6 months.

                                        The TRAI and the concern department should take action against the such wrong practice by the well known Samsung company. The Samsung company should reimburse me Rs.750/- towards this offer and should also take back such offer which is not applicable.

                                        This is a complaint against Hot Spot Store in Faridabad ,Sector 15.
                                        I had purchased a Samsung Mobile phone hardly 2 months back on 30th May'10 & now it is giving problem with full key pad.

                                        The Store Manager Govind (91-[protected]) is showing irresponsibility for this.He is clearly saying that we can not help out in any case.And not even ready to provide any solution regarding this.

                                        I suggest not to purchase any cell phone from this store specially.

                                        He is not having adequates to talk with customer.
