my wife had given her samsung mobile (don't rember the model no.) for the above mentioned repair at the samsung service centre, sodawala lane, near muncipal school, borivali (west), mumbai-400092 on 19/12/08. she was given a repair cost of Rs. 322/- on job order only for speaker phone by the person sitting on the desk. he asked my wife whether the phone is in warranty or not for which she replied no. then she asked him what will be the cost for the key pad repair & to change the glass. on this he replied that it will be Rs. 450/- approximate for which my wife agreed. the person attending the complaint said that he has not mentioned the repairs for glass & key pad on job order as it was already made but assured that it will be done in 1/2 hour's time. my wife said that she will collect the phone on 20/12/08 evening.on 20/12/08 evening i went with my wife to collect the phone at the service centre where the person who took or complaint was not present, so we went to the other person. he said that the phone is not repaired & will take 1 hour more to repair. when i asked him about the glass & keypad, the person was very rude replying that only the speaker is mentioned on job card, so only speaker will be changed. when my wife narrated the incident between her & their colleague the previous day, he very rudly replied to her forgetting that she being a lady customer that the person she had talked to is not there today & come and speak to him on monday if the other person had promised her. when i asked him to behave properly as he was talking to a lady, he said he knows how he is talking. the way he was speaking can be asked to the number of customers present in the shop at that point. (their contact details can be obtained from the register in the shop).i said to that person to call up his colleage and asked him, for which he refused saying he don't have his number. even the receptionist was not ready to give the other person number. then i said i don't want my mobile to be repaired at their shop & asked for a complaint or customer feed back form, for which i was told that there is no such form available with them, & if at all any complaints are to be written, it will be written in the visitor's entry book itself. they even refused (the rude person slightly bald and the fat marathi receptionist) to give their names. what a shame that a company like samsung is hiring such a cheap & low quality staff who do not know how to respect their customers. please ask samsung to recruit staff as per their brand names and not people from roadside. the photocopy of the job card is with me and i will provide it to prove that how people in this service centre work. the duplicate copy of job order was given back to me along with my phone with nothing written on it whether the phone is handed over to me. i can still claim for my handset with this duplicate/carbon copy of job card. SAMSUNG PLEASE WAKE UP & DO SOMETHING. JUST BY ENDORSING PERSONALITIES LIKE AMIR KHAN WON'T HELP YOU GROW YOUR BUSINESS, BUT THE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION WILL DEFINATELY HELP.
