Dear Madam / Sir,
We purchased a Samsung 26" LCD TV, Model No. - LA 26A450 which had the following offer :
FREE Airtel Digital TV
Buy a SAMSUNG LCD or Plasma TV: get free Airtel Digital TV connection with free installation and 5 month subscription** worth Rs. 2995/-
1.The TV was delivered & installed by Samsung - No issues with that
2.We also got a Airtel black voucher from the dealer after which we contacted Airtel to come & activate the digital TV connection.
3. Airtel people came to our house & after detailed investigation informed us that because they were not getting any signal at our house the connection was not feasable. They had no solutions / alternatives to give us. Airtel has raised their hands & told us to contact Samsung for a refund of Rs 2995-
4. On contacting Samsung customer care, they also brushed their hands off our problem & told us to speak to Airtel.
5.We have been taken for a complete ride by this offer.
6. Are we to suffer because Airtel does not have a signal at all places.
7. I demand a refund from Samsung as it was their offer. Samsung should keep to its reputation & honour the offer made.
