I purchased the said handset on November 4, 2012 and since from the very first day I have having issues with the incoming voice, handset rebooting itself etc. I called the toll free number a few times and visited service center with no resolution. Not only this I wrote an email to the customer service head and that too with no response. I need the full refund of my handset (Rs 19599/-) or else I will be forced for some legal action against the company.

Hello there,

I am writing this email asking for the refund of my amount I spent for purchasing Sony Sola MT
27i on November 4, 2012, with which I am regularly facing issues and the same is been updated
to your call center and a visit to your service center.Here are the issues in question:-

1- Very low volume in the incoming voice through cellphone
2- Pathetic Battery Backup
3- Hanging and rebooting and many more

I already visited your service center yesterday and they reinstalled the software but the issue
still persist. I am sorry I don't have time to bother you guys or your service center guys, the
issues reported above is from the first day I purchased the handset and the issue is alrady ben
conveyed to you by calling your toll free number. Kindly refund and take this crap back abd
close the matter PLEASE !!

I wonder what crap these companies are been doing entering Indian market. Has this been US, these would have been banned for lifetime. Though I assure that I am not going to leave them for less then a refund.

My question is how such companies would have survived if they would have replied the same thing being in US. Lets promote the awareness and make everyone aware of the after sales support companies are providing and choose the one who can provide reall support.
yes, You are right...these companies are cheating the customer by not giving better services. they are not professional and not concern about the service after selling their product. We will spread it to over internet.

    I gave my mobile before oct 20th for slide problem and charging problem.but,still now they didn't give me the correct date to deliver my mobile and i give my mobile in sony ericsson authorized service center in coimbatore(k.g.electronics)...

    Sony Ericsson — Delay of service

    Dear Sir/Ma'am,
    I own a W350i set of sony ericsson i gave this to repair centre as its keypad of not working and tha flap was breaked.I gave this set to Faridabad Service station which is situated in NIT 1 of Faridabad.It took them 1 month to replace all this.I also spoke to sony ericsson call centre people they assured me that all the parts have been delivered to the service centre but the service centre people were again -2 telling me that we haven't recieved.On 17 th april i recived this set.On getting this set i personally checked up that the set o[censored]sed by the owner for around 6 days for his business purpose.In my view sony ericsson should cancel all his licence of Franchisee and should pay me for this.I have N no. of proofs to show that the set was used for business purpose 24 hours.And yes on speking with the owner he refused by saying that the set was used for checking i think to check the set it doesn't take 6 days and moreover its not the asset of company to use it for personal use.I request the consumer court to file a case against the service centre.

    i purchased a sony ericsson mobile T715 from Behal associates,dehradun on 17 august 2010 ,paying Rs 8,300 only.IMEI no of handset was [protected]. with in one month phone started giving multiple problems .i gave the phone to company's authorised service centre M/s Allied Infotel,25 Tilak Road Dehradun.on[protected].after a long wait of 20 days swaped hanset was given to with new IMEI no [protected].
    inspite of tall claims that handset has been fully replaced .it again started giving same problems with some new problems and had to sent to the same authorised service center vide complaint no SE11AIF10104 dated[protected].ever since my nightmares have begun where i have to go through the process of enquiring of status of my handset and getting the same answer 'your phone is under repair"once i filed complaints to customer care through email and was allotted ticket number 89703452.no further reply to this complaint was received .thereafter i called up customer care number thrice but only once they registered my complaint and gave me a reference number 89748822 and assured me my problem will be looked after but till day the problem is not solved .
    after lot of disappointment and mental harrasment i sent a letter to the 'head customer care sony ericsson mobile handset.104 times tower main M G Road sector-28 Gurgaon .i sent this letter twice with the photocopy of bill,workorder old and workorder new.but still there is no response from there .
    my life has become difficult without mobile and it is causing a great loss to my personal and professional life .i am a middle class women and it is very difficult for me to buy a new phone but out of helplessness i today i have bought a new nokia mobile .now my request is to you to please help me to get the refund of my money from sony ericsson .

      Hi,

      I bought a phone sony xperia tipo dual. after one week problem start coming . i submitted my phone to service center.they provided service or repaired my phone in one month and from the next day i collect my phone from service center again a new problem started to come .now again my phone is in service center.neither they replaced my phone nor provided a qualitlyy customer service.

      from my views sony handsets are highly unreliable and service is highly unsatisfactory.
      Yes i am also facing same problem with This handset. its still with service centre only. Sony not cared about customer service... Its worst experience i have ever gone through. So i am going to file case against it.

        Hi,
        I have destroyed my Sony Home Theatre System DAVTZ 145 by my own hand. It is a system.
        It is a product. It was way below my expectation. I will consider that I have burnt Rs 10,000/- by buying the system. Thanks to all of you....who had misguided me during my purchase of that device.

          Don't Buy....Don't Buy....Don't Buy....Its a request to my consumer friends.....Don't Buy Sony DVD Home Theatre System DAVTZ145. Because even after owning a DVD Home Theatre Systemof worth Rs. 10,000/- you can't watch movies in original DVDs due to region problem. Its my request to the seller that you should convey it at the time of selling the product. I feel cheated after buying this product. What is an use of a DVD Home Theatre System if I have to depend to pirated DVD and not original one. I bought it from Vijay Sales Goregaon East, The Hub last month. Please guide me to change my DVD system and mujhpe krupa karo boss.....I am a middle class man whose mony has got values.

              I HAVE PURCHASED SONY VAIO SVE15115ENB ON 01/08/2012 AND AFTER FEW DAYS THE LAPTOP STARTED GIVING PROBLEM. ITS TOUCH PAD STOPPED WORKING AND LAPTOP WAS TURNING ON BUT WITH NO DISPLAY.I HAVE VISITED SONY SERVICE CENTER LUDHIANA ON 29/11/2012 AND THEY HAVE RETAINED MY LAPTOP FOR ONE DAY AND RETURNED THE SAME ON 30/11/2012 WITH REMARKS ON THE JOB SHEET " RAM AND TOUCH PAD RE FIXED. RECOVERY DONE. SET OK".

              IT WORKED PERFECTLY OK TILL 06/12/2012 BUT TODAY SUDDENLY ITS DISPLAY WENT OFF TOUCH PAD AND KEYBOARD STOPPED WORKING. AFTER AFTER SOME TIME KEYBOARD STARTED WORKING AND TOUCH PAD IS STILL NOT WORKING.

              EITHER SONY SERVICE LUDHIANA DID NOT FIXED THE ISSUE PROPERLY OR THERE IS SOME MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN THE LAPTOP.

              IT IS NOT EASY FOR ME TO TAKE MY LAPTOP TO SERVICE CENTER EVERY WEEK.

              I REQUEST YOU TO PROVIDE ME REPLACEMENT OF THIS FAULTY LAPTOP. AS IT IS MATTER OF CONCERN THAT LAPTOP COULD NOT EVEN WORK PROPERLY FOR 4-5 MONTHS AND WHAT WOULD I DO AFTER WARRANTY PERIOD?

                i bought a new mobile on 3 nov 2012 worth rs 30000 but within 10 days after purchasing its speaker is dead.i ask to costumer service for the replacement of phone they tell me phone could not be replaced and u have to submit it in service center . i submit it on 24 nov 2012 but till now my phone is not repaired and i have to purchase as it is from the service center due to some reasons.
                now what can i do,i am in tension that my 30000 is wasted

                ive bougt sony xperia neo l 2 mnths back and the camera quality was very poor from the day one. since i have never compared so i didnt knew that it was faulty.but when i compared the phone with one of my friend who is having the same set i came to know thet only my camera images are blur. i submitted my set in service center laxmi nagar two weeks back and since then they have different explanations always. once they said there are no parts available. then next time sir parts are coming from sewden so it is taking time. and yesterday they said sir abhi to parts order kie hai sweden se ane me 1 month to lag hi jaega. i want to ask from sony company if you dont have parts available in india then why are you selling your phones here. sell only in sweden. and please your service center staff is very bad in customer handling. please do something about it and i need my my handset back as soon as possible with all the functions and applications working perfectly. my ticket no is [protected]
                The phone Sony xperia GO ST27i which I had purchased in august 2012 is now showing some problem regarding the earphone plug in jack. When I had taken it to the service center here in Indore they reported that there is a problem with the motherboard and the earphones wont work properly because the jack connection with the motherboard is loose. They told me the phone will go under replacement because it cant be repaired manually. Now they have another issue stating that there is a small crack over the front panel down where xperia is written on the handset claiming it to be some hardware damage. They are making silly excuses and not responding properly. I am sending the picture of the phone wherein you can see there is no hardware damage as such. I want my phone to be replaced asap. This is really sad to see the people at the service center not giving proper response. Kindly look into the same.
                Also I tried to upload the picture of the phone but there is some problem and it says the file could not be uploaded. Please provide me with another email address wherein I can send the picture.
                Please revert back because unless i get a valid reply I wont be able to get my handset replaced.

                        Dear Sir i ordered a Sony laptop from timtara on 29/09/2012 and still I have not received the delivery. When I tracked that through the site of timtara, it says that “Awaiting Shipment” (order #[protected] I contacted timtara, they are saying everyday that it will reach today or tomorrow but still its about 63 days already and I have not received it yet. But on the site they had written the status that delivery time will be within 21 days. Why the hell they are writing that they will deliver in 21 days and making false excuses everyday that it will reach. Hame Congratulation latter bhi mila hai parntu abhi tak sony Xperia mobile nahi maila hai. Sony India hame Behkub to nahi bana rahi hai.

                                I bought a Sony LCD T.V. from a dealer in Lajpat Nagar in Aug - 2011. On 21st Nov'12 the T.V. stopped working, the display was hideous and jumbled though sound was clear. I called up the Sony customer care and an engineer came to my place who informed me that the T.V. Panel is faulty and it would cost approx. Rs. 12000 to get it fixed and there will be no warranty period.

                                I highly disatisfied with the kind of equipments and products Sony has been offering and apparently i am not the only one who has faced this issue.

                                Why would someone spend thousands of rupees on a product that does not even work for 16 Months.

                                Why would the consumers agree to your logo - make.beleive, when the products are not reliable.

                                I can't afford to buy a new T.V. and hence i request you to help me here.

                                Please assist me or i'll have to liase with Media.

                                  I bought Sony Digital Camera with 3 years warranty and its expiring on 22/12/2012. It worked well only for 1 year, after that it never worked properly. I got it repaired 2 times with the Sony service center but in vain. It worked again hardly for 1 week after the repair. The service centers are of no use, no one there knows anything about the device. I've got it repaired at the Hazratganj and Indiranagar Sony service center at Lucknow. Only few days of warranty are left. It was my first Sony camera and i had such a bad experience with it. I also filed an online complain with the Sony website and got no satisfactory response from their side also.

                                    Sir, due to harrased by the Service Centre of Sony, I had given a complain on 24.11.12. But till now I am not get any reply 4m the complany. Now I came to know that the service centre mentioned in the online that my handset was repaired and disposed off on 22.11.12. But actually the Service Centre had neither repair nor returned me till now. For which I several times I contact with the customer care, and assured me to wait. I also requested to reply the status report to me in the mobile No. [protected] or my Email I.D. [protected]@yahoo.com. But i have not got any communication from the customer. I purchased the handset on 18.02.2012, but the as per the job seet it is mentioned that set was purchased on 18.02.2011 & now it has no warenty.
                                    I therefore request you to please look into the matter personally and give the service as per the norm of the company, other-wise I am bound to knok the door the Court as per the law.

                                        My name is Nilesh and I purchased a sony cybershot camera DSC-W520/SC E32 dated 15th Dec. 2011, I purchased it from Nagpur, through a dealer ( Roopam Exclusive, UGF 1-2, Shri Ganesh Chamber, Dhantoli, Nagpur - 440012)
                                        Below are few detail of the purchase and products;
                                        Bill # - 309
                                        Purchase Date – 15th Dec. 2012
                                        Model No. - SONY DSC W520 (silver)
                                        Sony Exclusive – Receipt No. - 000230

                                        During purchasing, I was said that the battery has 1 years warranty and will get replaced through authorized services center of sony if anything happens.
                                        After using it for 8 months, the battery started giving the problem. The issue was “after inserting a battery, camera use to work for 5 seconds and then automatically used to switch off. You could take a picture within this time. If you want to take apicture again, you have to switch it on, take a picture in 5 seconds and again it used to switch off”

                                        I put a complain for this issue to Sony’s Nagpur service center ( detail are below)

                                        They attained the complaint and reviewed the issues in detail. After their detailed review they told me that the battery is not working correctly and has some problem. They created a job sheet and promised me that they will replace the battery within 7 to 10 days.
                                        Job sheet details are –
                                        Job No. – J[protected]
                                        Date – 30th Oct. 2012
                                        Battery List – BATTERY-NP-BN[protected]WGJ

                                        Now, I was waiting to hear back from them for a replacement but they never responded back. After waiting for 6 days I called them and asked the status, they said that it will take some time. After 12 days I again called them and at this time they said that “the battery which I am using it not compatible with the camera model. So it needs to be replaced.” When I asked for the replacement status they said that they can’t replace it for this reason. I will have to purchase a new battery worth Rs. 2,500 for Rs. 7000 camera which is under warranty.

                                        I was shocked, as this is the same battery which I used for last 9 months without any problem. And now, I was told that this is not compatible. I was the single user for this camera and I never allowed anybody to use it. SO I am sure that the battery is the same one which I got with the camera.

                                        I got very depressed as;
                                        If this was the case then why they( Sony Authorized Service Center Nagpur) did not told me before accepting the claim.
                                        Why I had to follow up with my warranty status if issue was with sony’s service center.
                                        If I would have not contacted them after 12 days, they would have never bothered to call me back and update with the status.
                                        As the product is under warranty, SONY should replace my battery before 5th dec. 2012, as the warranty will not be valid after this date.
                                        My camera is still with Nagpur’s Sony service center and I am waiting to here back from them with some good news.
