[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Mental harrassment

I have never been a tata-sky customer. I have never subscribed to their services. Still i keep on receiving messages from the company (Ta-tatasky or tm-tatasky) about pending payment dues, recharging remenders, etc. On my personal mobile number. I hope this is total violation of one's privacy and results to mental harrassment.

My tata sky pack is supreme sports.This Pack rate is Rs-355, but this time recharge is Rs-380. So what is the problem in higher rate.

I am highly dis-satisfied with your service :

1. I have paid my monthly charges rs. 270/- but no confirmation sent by you in spite of reminders after reminders.

2. Every time you have changed my payment date. Previously it was 8th, then 5th, then 2nd and then 1st day of the month. I have experience you charged monthly rent 13 times i a year (For 12 months) after making changes of date of last payment. What is this? You are cheating your customers.

Either re-activate my account and send information to me or refund my money.

Since last more than 3 months I have been complaining about the reception of two channels ie.Times-Now and CNN-IBN, which are not available in spite of subscribing. After complaining to your Call Centre a number of times, I had written an e-mail giving all the details and requesting to forward the same to the Managing Director. But there was no reply. On 14.3.2016, I wrote a detailed letter addressed to the Managing Director and sent it by Speed Post. To my surprise, I have not received any reply till date. I had several telephonic conversations with Mr Ashish, Ms Priti, Ms Nidhi, Ms Kabita and Ms Umashree. All of them promised to get back to me within an hour or two but never called back. On the contrary I once again tried to contact them but I was told that the call cannot be transferred to them. All these calls and the post has cost me quite a lot. This is my humble request to the Managing Director & CEO of Tata Sky, Mr Harit Nagpal to contact me immediately, if Tata Sky Management has any respect for their valued customers.

I agree Tatasky representatives cause mental harassment. I am a subscriber and they kept call all day on 8th April 2016 and activated unwanted packs on my account without my consent. BEWARE OF TATASKY!!

My suscribtion id is[protected]..i had opted for Southern dhamaal pack along with english entertainment and lifestyle channels..i was paying 540 /- permonth..and all of a sudden they started icreasing the amount every month now i end up paying 630/-though my pack remains the same..they say they have increased subscribtion price ...but my doubt is as to why do they increase it everymonth..??when we call there soooo called call centres ..where those uneducated fellows bang the call with out even answering the calls..or they just dont have an answer for any questions..when i ask them to connect to higher management...they just bang the call... this what i get after paying my hard earned money to these fools...disgusting service...as customer every single rupee matters...we earn it hard..since you people cheat on customers and make money...anyways i want to make it clear that i dont want any disgusting sales call from your dumb call center...

on 21/03/2016 a representative tatasky contected me to renew package which falls due on 5/04/2016 with intimation that i[censored] renew it in march we will renew it on old price( for supreme sports kid with hd access fdees. i have to pay rs. 5280 as per representative suggest. i paid through net at the same time.upto 4th april there representatives told me frequently that it will renewed on 5/04/2016 to 05/04/2017. but my account status shows different date. on 6th april again there representative demand more amount rs. 610/- as e-mail rece by me. i told him all the matter to him but no proper responce. again i pay rs. 610 as again demanded. but my renewal date is not updated upto 05/04/2017 as i have renew my account for the year i.e. 05.04.2016 to 05.04.2017. suggest what i have to do?
I have been using Tata Sky from last 3 years, initially there services were ok but recently we have shifted to new house and I have called up around 50 times then they have Send somebody to move tata Sky from previous place to current one but the engineer who came to install the Tata Sky I don't what he Did same was it working and also he took RS. 200 from me for the remote which we also ordered later on they have also deducted the same amount from my account balance and I have been calling continuously from past 2 days to lodge the complaint but no body is responding. I felt why I took this worst service provider I have ever seen. I am mentally harassed by these stupid people's.

The issue as of now is that, my tata sky setup box is receiving no signal, since 11th April 2016.
I had made a call to your customer care, but they were asking for service charges for checking the issue. If this is the condition then, I would rather opt to cancel your DTH service. If still you are charging a service charge for attending the issue then, please don’t resolve the issue & please refund my Tata Sky remaining amount.

Please resolve the issue ASAP.

ID [protected] : Yesterday, our local dealer changed the set top box to the HD one and didn't tell me anything new about it. Later, I recharged on-line for 3500/- also adding a few Active packs. Today he tells me I should have done it through him and now difficult to retrieve my recharge payment. He also says that now with the new HD set top box, my ID is changed and he would have to replace it with my previous set top box !?
Kindly help clarify in this regard.

You have changed setup box more than twice in two years time. Now I don't know how many times you would change setup box by penalizing every time by charging Rs 900/ every time .

I have shifted to Mumbai a week back and have been using Tata sky service since last 2 years.
Now it's been 4 days since I have been calling the helpline no. For installation of dish. It's so useless to talk to call center employees who are not even talking any relevance. Instead I have been given with multiple appointment of installation but no one turns at the scheduled time. I live in a very accessible locality which is surely having many installation of Tata sky. I am fail to understand the reason for same.
It seems Mumbai team is useless an ineffective for providing the desired service.

Tatasky Harassment:

We have been using Tatasky for over 6 years now. My RMN is [protected]. Tatasky has time and again had signal issues which were resolved from time to time. This was a herculean task as every time the signal goes, I would have to switch off all the switches and turn it on as per instructions from the Technician. While this was not enough to ensure seamless cable, we encountered another problem yesterday. The audio and video completely went off and TV stopped working. As usual, we again tried as per instructions from the Technician but in vain.

We called up the Helpline yesterday and the agent sent us a technician today. Yesterday when on call, the technician was assigned a time of 10AM today, for which we got a confirmation message too. We kept aside all our chores to attend to the 10AM appointment, hoping that we would expect a Tatasky technician at 10AM. But this morning we were informed that the technician would only be arriving at 4:30PM. We still did not complain about this lack of professionalism, as this was our requirement.

Today, the technician came and checked the software and all wiring but could not resolve the problem and then concluded that the internal cabling from our flat to the duct in our corridor has to be changed. It appears that he lacks experience to fix the problem and hence we lost our trust again when the technician started arguing about the money aspect. The technician advised that 25 metres cable is required to resolve the problem and we have to bear the cost. We called up the Helpline again and was told 10metres of cabling will be free and if it exceeds 10 metres, we would have to pay the balance. This was necessitated becaushe the technician eeroneously cut the cable connecting from the router to the set top box. Anyway, we settled for this and asked the technician to fix the cable. However, the technician had different plans for us. He started saying that the person on the Helpline is misleading us. He tried to weave a story that the Helpline would assure us that 10 metres out of 25 metres would be free, but they would charge us for the whole 25 metres. Then he came to his sales plot, stating he would fix it at his own price of 15Rs. Per metre + Electrician’s charge extra. Yet, we did not heed to his words and opted for the Helpline’s option and asked him to fix it. When he realized his story was not working on us, he said he will not fix the internal cabling as it could lead to power line issues.

Now, a very simple question. Why should a Tatasky customer go through so much trouble just to get Tatasky cable fixed? When I signed up for Tatasky services, I surely did not foresee that I will be put through so much misery. Please advise as to what is your suggested plan of action and how can you make your customer’s life painless. Please advise as we are contemplating on changing to Airtel digital services as we are gradually and painfully losing our trust in Tatasky.

Tata sky being a reputed service oriented company owes a duty of care to its customers which is
not exercised in our case and it shows.

I'm Tata Sky new customers. I have purchased new TV then I purchased Tata Sky HD box with one year recharge of Rs.3701 on 5 Nov 2015 . But Tata Sky deactivate my connection on 10 may 2016.
