I Have paid annual subscription for Times of India (order No. 2036722). The agent is Mr Vignesh (Cell No. [protected]). I am not receiving the newspaper regularly, it has been erratic. For the past 5 days I am not receiving the newspaper. My address is

Can any one describe me the subscription scheme on times of india news paper, Will it be given by dealer or somewhere else, our dealer didn't tell us about this scheme. How can i avail this scheme ?

My name is R.Vidya shankar presently residing in hyderabad (Madhapur) During September08

month[protected] two person visited my Flat along with TOI identity and booked one year TOI

subscription (paid Rs.310) towards One year Subscription fee and they gave a Reciept and assured

delivery from the next day. Even after one week it did not happen. I called up Toi and lodged a

complaint. they said- it would take 15 days time and i will start getting TOI wef 1-10-08. Again

i waited till 5th of Oct08, no paper (TOi) i got. i again spoke to TOI complaint cell to thier ARA MANAGER

HE SAID: I WILL GET TOI from the next day. I waited till 10th Oct08. No response.. Again i called TOi

No proper RESPONSE... I had great respect to TIMES OF INDIA and they have changed the impression

i have decided to take up again with their higher ups to put an end to this episode.

I ([protected]/[protected]) stay at L-28, Dwarkadheesh Residency, Pimple Saudagar, Pune - 411027, India. My newspaper vendor is not giving us pune mirror s complimentary copy.

He says that the Pune Mirror edition is not supplied by the Times of India publishers itself.

If that is the case, please remove the line "Pune Mirror" form the newspaper's headlines.

Hi,

I subscribed for Times Of India "Student Offer"(Order # 10181). I was said that I would receive the Standard Edition of Times of India except on Sunday's. But, on the first day when I received the Newspaper, they gave me Times Of India "Student Edition".

I called them repeatedly and requested them that I don't need the newspaper at all. But still they just throw away on my Door daily and go. This is not the problem with only me...there are many other people in my Complex facing problems with these guys.

I, the resident of Andheri(East), noticed that whenever a free sample of shampoo or other small commodities was attached to Times Life Supplement of Sunday edition, the supplement was never delivered.When contacted, the local newspaper vendor told that they hadn't received any supplement from the distributor.I would like to request you to investigate this matter as this has happened for 4-5 times.The name of distributor providing to our area is Sharda distributors (Andheri-Chakala).
I hope prompt action would be taken in this matter.

I had subscribed for the times of india news paper vide receipt no 205904 dated 19/07/08 with efffective date from 01/08/08. Till date news paper has not started at home. Response when contacted the news paper is very third class and they say that they can accept the subscription onlly with one month advance notice. How the representative collecting the money had accepted the same and committed in writing about the date of implementation...

I had subsribed Time of India, by our news paper agent .name Mr.Saravanan, owner of Muthu New Mart, Mylapore long back. At the time of booking he promised me that he will give the subscription number which he has to get from one Mr.Durai, represented from Times of India.
I am repeatedly asking my paper man Mr.Saravanan for my gift and whenever I ask him, he is repeadtely telling that times of India has not supplied the gift to the agents to deliver the same to the subscribers.

I have subscribed to Times Of India's 6-months subscription scheme for getting news papers at Madhapur, Hyderabad after paying the appropriate amount to the agent. My subscriber Id is 11491. And subscription started from 1st Feb08'. Per this subscription, I should have received paper continuosly till 31st July 08', without paying any extra money.

But, From the day I have taken this service, I am running into trouble. Out of 30 days in a month, I hardly receive papers for max 20 days. Rest of the time, there is no paper. When I call up the agent, he says that he will deliver it from next morning, and again there is no paper.

Now, on 1st June, I have shifted my house from Madhapur to Malaysian Township, Kukatpally. So I called up the TOI customer care at[protected] on 3rd of June to intimate them regarding my change of addredd. I have spoken to a lady called Ms. Sandhya. She assured me that the process would take 10 days and I will start getting paper after 10 days. So I waited till 14th. But received no paper. So I called up customer care again, and spoken to Ms. Sandhya again, and she again assured that she has spoken to the area executive and from next morning I will start getting papers. But i din't receive any papers. So I called up agai and I got the same answer from Ms. Sandhya. And I have called up more that 20 times now and got the same reply everytime.

So I finally have taken the number of TOI's area executive for Kukatpally, Mr. Vijay Krishna's number, which is [protected] and called him up on 1st July. He assured that he has my details, and I will get my paper from next morning itself. But again I din't receive anything. So I called him up again, and he again replied the same.

And fianlly, today it is 22nd of July 08' and till now I have not received even a single copy of Times Of India news paper, since 1st of June 08'. I called up Mr. Vijay Krishna again today, and he again replied the same to me. But I know that I am not going to get my paper tomorrow also. So 2 months are gone without news paper, out of my 6 months subscription!! But my question is, WHEN AM I GOING TO GET M Y PAPER???? It is 2 months now, and they are still not able to deliver my regular copy of the news paper.

I think this is TOI's new money making business, where, once you pay the money in advance for subscription, they forget about you!!

So now, is there anyone who can help me out on this???? Can I have some justice done on my part???? Please help me if possible!!

I am in the army and insulated from rest of the civil world ordinarily. Being a regular subscriber of TIMES OF INDIA newspaper i was exposed to an advt by the TOI SHOPPING of a cordless telephone set at an affordable price of Rs 1650 /-claimed to be the cheapest in the whole of India. The look of the set was good and i had till then a good impression of the TOI news Group.
A few days later i was delidered a microtel made in CHINA tele set which worked for a few minutes and became dead. i lodged a complaint with the TOI shopping . Prompt came the replacement in the form of Eurotel MADE IN CHINA teleset which is not worth living with. The remote rechargeable cell do not hold charge for more than a few minutes. It 's noisy and comes out with shrill ear piercing sounds generated within.
The main set has too many features but barely function. It is so noisy that the local BSNL repair mechanic who is literally disturbed due to frequent complaints about low reception asked me me not to use that teleset at all.
I am poorer by 1650/-, I am shattered that i believed people in TOI for so long .
I am a victim of a larger defraud as the picture shown to sale the item is not the same as the Brand and the name of the manufacturer of the tele set was not highlighted. It is kind of taking poor soul in the Army for a ride .
Iam angry as these are the people are in the forefront leading the nation By craeting HYPE with LEAD INDIA.
Iam not complaining against M/S zap electronics MUMBAI because i had not purchased the item from them directly . Iwant the responsibility be fixed against TOI and it's BOARD OF DIRECTORS to whom i bestowed faith. They have betrayed my faith . they have betrayed the faith reposed to them.

I had subscribed to the times of India goa edition, but the newspaper is not being deliverd to my residence as promised by the agent. I have to collect the copy from the newspaper vendors shop atCuncolim, salcete Goa which is about 3 kms from my residence. It causes incovenience to me as the copies have to be collected from the newspaper vendor by wasting in lot of time and money. Kindly take action at the earliest.

I have subscribed TOI on 7th Jan 2008 (Booklet No 26140), But i have not received gift mentioned in booklet i.e. Dinner set and Flask. After repeated reminder to my vender and lodging complaint to reader service cell on[protected], i have received only one GIFt (i.e.dinner set)in the last month.
I request you please look into the matter and oder the concerned person to deliver my gift as soon as possible.

I am an unfortunate subscriber of Times Of India. I subscribed the offer (with order number 32333) on dated 12/5/2008 for 6 months. the order was to be effective from 1st june 2008. It is almost one month, i have received only 1 copy . I have tried to call several times to the TOI office and asked about this but every time i was assured that the problem will be solved soon. I am still waiting the problem to be solved.

Its since 3 months I have been following up with my Dsitributor Vendor - Mr. Imran (Mobile no. [protected]) regarding changing my Mirror Mirror to Economic times offer as per the TOI offer.
When I contact my local newspaper vendor he informs me that the distributor vendor needs to submit a form with my details to TOI office and automatically he will recieve an extra copy of Economic times to deliver it to me.

When I contact the distributor vendor Mr. Imran, he informs me that he has already submitted my application form to your office a long back and awaiting feedback from your office.

So I just wanted to know the status of my application form which should be lying somewhere in your office. It is better not to keep such promotions if you cannot deliver it to the customer.

Complaint Letter sent to Timesgroup officials on 25/06/08.

Dear Mr. Manish, (Times Group-Goa)
As per our telecom I am forwarding you the details of my advertisement application and follow-up done.

I had opted for "Super Selection Package (2+1)" for matrimonial Classified Advertisement which had to appear on 11th May08, 18th May08 and 1st June 08. I noticed misprint of mobile no. in the first publication (11th May08) and due to this I did not receive any response to that day's advertisement and did not get the value for the amount paid by me.

I went to your office in person very next day (12/05/08) of first publication and informed about the same to Ms. Namrata & Ms. Salina in writing and took the acknowledgement receipt. They assured me for a quick step-up of my request to higher authorities. I was promised that I will get an additional publication due to the error in printing.

I did not receive any call or communication from your end so I again came to your office on 19/05/08 to check the status of my request. Till that day my request was not processed and Ms. Namrata and Ms. Salina was trying to fool me with lame excuses. Again I was promised that I will get additional publication and that I will be updated about the status of my complaint over the phone or email.

Ms. Salina and Namrata failed to respond again so I came to your office on 2nd, 10th and 23rd June. On every visit/call that I have made to your office, my contact number and email address are noted by your office bearers, but till date I have never received any call or email intimating me about the action taken with respect to my complaint.

I request you to reprint the Matrimonial on one more edition as there was negligence and deficiency in services on the part of your publication and intimate me about the same.

Now I am tired with too long follow ups, many visits to your office and phone calls made by me. I had never expected this kind of service from Times Group. I am looking out for a quick and positive resolution for this complaint within two working days as promised by you over the phone or else I will have to go for legal assistance.
