[Resolved]  Times Of India Sms 5888 Service — SMS - DAY ROBBERY

dear sir

I hv a complaint on TIMES OF INDIA 5888 sms service.I believe it is part of TOI as informed by our mobile SP reliance.

the complaint is , first we will get an SMS stating that we have subscribed to cricket pack and it is 5 rupees per match day to get cricket scores SMS
which we are not aware of that package at all.

to unsubscribe the same the SMS indicates one toll free number and the number looks like a dummy dead number and will not any give response and our mobile service provider will cut 5 rupees from our pre paid account on each cricket match day.

this looks like a day robbery and with deep regret i will request TOI to advise the concerned to stop this buisiness, else TOI news paper
wll get bad name.

please advise TOI people to stop this buisiness or else we may have to forward this mail to RTI and also TRAI

if we need any service we personally SMS to 5888 to get cricket scores by pressing CRI to 58888 and there is no need for us to start subscription package so that TOI can loot common man's hard earned pennies.Please send a letter to concerned before taking subscription in nearest TOI office or agent and do not take short cuts to earn money

please ask TOI to reply if they have any conerns on common man
