I had asked the dealer to give me a recharge of one month of Rs.200 which has the Talktime of Rs.112. But, he did the recharge which is the lifetime plan with Talktime of only Rs.10. thus, I could not get the desired balance.
I raised the complaint with Vodafone (Service no.[protected]. On Sunday i.e 04/01/09, I had visited the Vodafone gallary at Borivli (W). The staff told me that on Monday i.e 05/01/09 query will be resolved. But the query was not resolved. I visited again on Monday i.e 05/01/09 as I did not get even a callback from Vodafone. The staff told me that NOTHING CAN BE DONE FOR THIS.
Vodafone staff says that it is not their fault. Is it my fault to be a vodafone customer? When I was explaining my problem, staff immediately answered that Nothing can be done. From this, it seems that they have a good experience of such types of complaints.
Above all, staff even counter questioned me that WHAT IS THE PROOF THAT I ASKED FOR THE ONE MONTH RECHARGE? I did not know that Vodafone has such image about its customers.
On every such Lifetime recharge, company gets the Service Income of Rs.190.00 as aginst the income of Rs.88.00 as against the monthly scheme. Thus it is a point to think how much extra income company gets from cheating the customers & not taking the responsibilty.

Planning to go for vodafone connection. Please read this fully. Though this is my personal experience, I thought that as much people know about it, it would be benificial to all.
I had to leave India for my studies on 20th Sept. 2008. so I called the vodafone customer care on 1st Sept. to ask about the process. They said that it is ok and I can call the last day I need to go.

Perfect, so I called them before boarding the plane. The reply was that I need to clear my accounts and for that i need to wait until 25th (my billing date) when the bill would be generated and then visit one of their centers. I said that I will not be there in India, how can I visit. They said that they cannot help it, it is a process issue.

All pissed off I came for my studies and then got along thinking that they surely will contact me when they think they can close it. Guess what? They first mail I get from them was a warning to leagal notice. So much for their customer care. Even if they would have checked the records, I was using the number for more than 3 years and never had failed a payment. To a customer like this, the firt communication is a warning to leagal notice for a bill of less than 5000 INR.

Anyway, I replied to the warning to leagal notice that I am ready to pay the bill on condition that extra billing that has been done after my first request of closure to be removed and my phone connection disconnected. There was no reply, instead I recieved another bill next month. I replied with the entire story again to the helpdesk that I need help. Guess what was the reply?

They sent me a final LEAGAL NOTICE with a 4 day period for payment, which if not done they would drag me to court. I know lot of people would say that companies like this would not do something like this. But still there is always a fear of that. While their customer care people are exchanging mails with me, the leagal department is threatenning me with leagal notices. I was finally made to pay the amount in entire value and none of my mails were replied to.

This is just a small customer of a company that advertises "HAPPY TO HELP

Sri Ji Mere Vodafone Number Pe GPRS Open Nahi Ho Raha Hain. Na Hi Customer Care Pe Call Lagti Hain. Ham Jab bhi kis Aor Number Se Customer Care Pe Baat Karte Hain To Bataya Jata Hain Ki 72 Hour Me Thik Ho Jaye Ga. Jab ki Customer Care Pe Shikayat Kiye 7-8 Din Ho Gaye.. Hum Ne Customer Care Pe Kai Baar Shikayat Ki Par aaj Tak Mera Number Thik Nahi Hua. Mere Number Se Customer Care pe Call Kyu Nahi Lagti hain?

    HELP YOU HAPPY ME
My name is Munish Sharma i have vodafone postpaid connection. My Number is [protected]. I got a call from customer care of vodafone that there is a special offer for you for mobile internet. The customer care person said the service will cost 250 for unlimited internet connection on mobile.I told customer care i don't have very good mobile and i am not sure whether internet will work on it.The customer care person suggested if you have camera in your mobile then it will work.So i said then activate the service. He suggested that you will recieve message from vodafone and customer care will tell you how to install internet system on the mobile. I didn't recieved any call from customer care nor did i get any message. From last two month suddenly my bill raised to 800 and so on.So i just confirmed why i am getting such high bills. They told that internet charges are applied to my connection.I never used internet on mobile and then also they are forcing me to pay the amount. I feel like cheated. Its not the matter of money its about bad service of vodafone and there system bugs for which customer has to suffer.I am getting my other connections disconnected from vodafone as i have 3 more connection of vodafone. Some suggest to call customer care and some suggest to contact the office in my town for this issue.I am really frustrated i had not paid there bill for last two months for this reason.

Please suggest me what should i do.

Threatening is the Vodafone way – But we want conversion from Postpaid to Prepaid

(Harassment by Vodafone in converting post-paid to pre-paid connection)

Threatening is vodafone’s usual way if you approach them with a complaint or request. They will not hear what bad experience you have gone through with them. They will just look at the last bill according to them, and will retort that they are going to send eminent people to your house to get the bills collected whatsoever, and boast that you won’t be able to resist them as they are lot more mightier than you can even imagine!

We Indians need to prove them wrong.

As far as I know, vodafone is the only mobile service provider in India who doesn’t allow conversion from post-paid to pre-paid. Once you are in their trap of post paid, you either have to keep paying the rent Or just discontinue the service to escape their monkey fist, threatening and litigations.

Mine is a very old Vodafone postpaid number and I don’t want to loose that number as it is circulated to so many key people. But when the Vodafone call center guys called me up and threatened to send their eminent people to get the bills collected, I wanted to switch from post paid to pr-paid. That way, they will have their damn money and I don’t have to speak to their henchmen again. While the talks were on, they again threatened me and taken steps for initiating legal proceedings against me. General Manager – Legal ( Yunus H Ahamed) yunus.[protected]@vodafone.com & Senior Manager – Legal (Lokesh Mahalingappa ) lokesh.[protected]@vodafone.com have sent me legal notice after Lokesh Mahalingappa told that it is possible to get my same old number in pre-paid through a convoluted process. I walked into the Vodafone office at Indiranagar and they bluntly said it is absolutely not possible to have my same old number in pre-paid whatsoever. Multiple times I have expressed written willingness to talk to them rather than mails, and asked them their phone number, but they never bothered speak to me. Now they are going back on their promise and harassing me.

We need to expose this rotten and unethical tactics of Vodafone, for plundering money from the larger population in India. I will fight this out in all the legal forums in every possible way. It is a public need to have the facility to convert post paid to pre-paid especially in this bad economic conditions, and people still need to stay connected, when there is maximum number of job losses, to help them move on in their modest life.

We need to make sure that Vodafone don’t fool our people in India anymore. At a minimum rent of Rs.200/- per month, even if one make only one call, people in India are intelligent enough to multiply the amount with the number o[censored]nfortunate postpaid customers to calculate the amount Vodafone guys are looting so freely.

All other mobile service providers in our county have the facility to switch from post-paid to pre-paid and that too very easily within minutes. How can Vodafone – an alien - insist that a poor man in India should continue paying rent when he doesn’t have a job, or simply because he doesn’t want the facilities as it is too costly for the pocket/ affecting peace of mind due to the threats? An incoming number is the most needed one for a person who has lost job. Let them take the money from those who actually need the postpaid facility.

I have approached the consumer forum as the first step. Complaint Id: 11759.

On a simple Google search, I could see many people are affected by this monkey fist of Vodafone. Some examples are below:

I fully agree with this complain regarding irresponsible customer care service. Now time has come to make them hear our voice as we have heard lots of their sweet songs.
I am having prepaid vodafone connection no.[protected] and yesterday when I made a local call with a talk duration of 27 seconds, a whopping sum of Rs.9/- was deducted from my prepaid account. Then why should I continue to have connected to Vodafone when local call charges as claimed by you are @ 50p/min and STD @ Re.1/- per min. What explanation do you have for this disparity. All service providers are charging either 60 p/min or Re1/min for local calls and whereas you have debited a staggeringly high amount of Rs.9/- for 27 seconds local call. I am shattered and would want you to address my grievance genuinely and quickly.

i completely agree with this complaint, its really a torture keeping postpaid connection as its keep on increasing its interest after its last day payment date, where as in prepaid u never face this problem, well please look forward and take a action this i am trying this from past 3 months even i had complain the same topic on this forum too yet its r not taking action against it, we see advertise in TV that you should not face any difficulty from postpaid to prepaid OR prepaid to postpaid why we Vodafone users are facing this difficulty i again request to take action on this...

I had a Vodafone connection Relationship No.1.7168344, Vodafone No.[protected] whereby the Monthly rental was Rs.50.
A request for activation was made on 111 (Vodafone Helpline No) for activating Zero Rental GPRS Service but GPRS service with monthly rental of Rs.49 was activated by their executive whereby a complaint was made to 111 stating the above case but no action was taken by them and even a complain no was not given by the helpline executive, As a result of this the payment for the same was not made.
On recovery call made by Vodafone executive a request for settlement was made after removing the GPRS rental but no action was taken from their side as a result of which bill payment was not made.
In the second bill and other consecutive bill a late payment fees along with GPRS rental was charged.
Action required, We are ready to pay the basic rental of Rs.50 and any other call usage charges but not the GPRS rental and late payment charges as the action was not taken from their side.

When I was roaming in Lonaval, called up customer care "111" and advised to do refill mobile to mobile .Accordingly I approached a retailer in Lonaval market and opted for Rs.332/- refil .I got massage as "under process pay to retailer.Confirmation no.RM[protected]".After sometime I waited and seeing massage on retailers mobile paid to retailer in cash. While returning back to Mumbai I got massage that process has failed. On reaching Mumbai I contacted customer care but couldnot get satisfactory reply and reason for failur of refil.I even contacted supervisor Mr. Azad but refused to comment.I was asked to contact retailer in Lonavala .I requested for the information of retailer as I didnt have, but no coperation. Why did Voddophone instructed me to make payment to retialer?.Why did they failed my refil and informed me late knowing that I am on Roaming? When they instructed me to make payment implies that my application is approved and it is matter of time required for processing on their system for addition of balance in my account. For Rs. 332/- i can not go back to Lonaval considering time and money involved. Its misguiding on part of Vodofone Co., Malfunction or cheating .I should get either refund or addition of eauivalent amount in my A/C.Reply --Jayesh

My friend visited the Vodafone gallery at SV Road, Opposite Irla Fire Brigade, Andheri West on the 26th of December 2008 sometime during the evening with the intention of buying an iphone. December 27 2008 was my birthday and she intended to gift the phone to me on my birthday. After a very nice and convincing conversation with the staff at the gallery, she purchased the phone. The sales staff there convinced her that if there are any concerns regarding any defects in the phone, it will immediately be replaced. The iPhone being an Apple product and the store being a Vodafone gallery, she took the word of the sales staff there and did not bother to check the phone before buying it.

Fast forward to 12:00 am, while all my close friends and I are engaged in the celebrations of my Birthday, she gifted the phone to me. After a lot of praises for the beautiful packaging we opened the box and took the phone out. I inserted my Sim Card but the phone would not start (I am a Vodafone user, my card is from the Hutch days.) It would take me to an emergency calls only screen and show an icon of a lock at the top. Not just that, my display would go on and off like an old fluorescent light tube that needs to be replaced. I thought the phone must be low on battery so I put it for charging. In the meanwhile, my friend called Vodafone support to check why I am unable to use the phone. We spent a frustrating half an hour on two calls with two very incompetent customer service representatives (the first one probably hung up on us, the second was totally lost). On our third call, the representative asked us to visit the Vodafone store. I didn't give it much thought, however I could see that the friend who gifted me the phone is visibly upset. We cheered her up and continued with our celebrations.

On December 27 2008, in the afternoon sometime, we visited the Vodafone store. The representative there told us that he needs to activate the phone so that I can use it. He did just that and came back to us with the phone. The sight of those pretty icons on the phone dissipated our displeasure about the fact that the sales representative, at the time of the sale did not inform the buyer that the phone needs to be activated at the store. He handed the phone over to me and I could see that thing happen again. The phone would switch off on its own and come up again. He told us, this is happening because the battery is low, it wasn't. I had charged the phone for close to 4 hours that day. Another friend of mine uses the iPhone and he… should I say, 'informed' your sales representative that the phone does not behave like this when the battery is low. The Vodafone iPhone 'Expert' told us that they will have to update the software to the latest version in order to make it work and that it would take him another 20 minutes to do that. We did not have that much time since our plan of celebrations did not include spending an hour at the Vodafone gallery. We informed him that we will come on the following day. He assured us that if they are unable to fix the phone on Sunday, they will give me an immediate replacement. I repeated the mistake my friend had made and took his word at face value.

Fast forward to Sunday December 28 2008 evening, we went to the Vodafone gallery where the iPhone 'Expert' took the phone with him and said he will fix the problem for me. I waited there for about 30 minutes before he came back with my phone and a form. He asked me for the bill which I presented to him immediately. I asked him if he is processing the replacement to which he said that he is. I had a look at the form he was filling; the form was titled 'Repair request form' or something in those lines. This is when the warning bells started ringing. When I asked him if I will get the replacement immediately, he started giving me ambiguous answers before conceding that I will have to come back on Monday December 29, 2008. I asked to speak with his manager. Two gentlemen stepped out from a cabin to talk to me. They started giving me a whole load of bollocks about policies, procedures etcetera. When I asked them to give me a new phone immediately, they said that they do not have it. That surprised me. When I asked them if they are trying to tell me that if today I come in with intent to buy an iPhone; would they not have it? They said they have more phones but they cannot give any of those to me and that if I come on Monday I will get the phone. I asked why they can not just give me a phone from their inventory; they said that the phone that will come on the following day for me would be a 'swap' phone. When I asked him what is the difference between a 'swap' phone and a phone from their inventory, he told me that there is none. But still he would not give me a phone from their inventory. Upon further probing, he informed me that the phone that I would get would not be a box packed phone. This is where I lost it. I asked him what is the assurance that the p[hone that he gives me would be a new phone? He did not have an answer. I asked him if they will be able to give it to me in writing that the phone is a brand new phone, they said no. I again asked them if they will be able to give me a fresh piece from the inventory, they refused. I asked them for a refund, another no. The gentleman there Mr. Sunil Naidu said that he will update the software now and give me my phone but it will take about one and a half hour and that he would not leave before the update completes. He asked me to come once again on Monday to take the phone back. I was mighty pissed and frustrated by now and said okay. While stepping out of the store we spotted a sign which said 'Happy to Help', I could not help but gently laugh at the irony.

December 29 2008 when I called Mr Naidu in the morning to ask if I can pick up my phone, he informed me that I cannot. He said the phone is not working and he is still trying to fix it.

I think now I know why the residents of Mumbai prefer to buy phones from stores like Alfa etcetera and not Vodafone gallery. This has been a terrible experience for me and all the other people involved. My family has been using Vodafone services since the Max Touch days and this is how you choose to reward your consumers for brand loyalty. I am at a point where I don't know if I even want any phone, repaired, swapped or brand new from Vodafone anymore as I am seriously considering just taking the money back from you, switching to Airtel and buying an iphone from them. I intend to inform all my friends and family about this screw up and totally dissuade them from buying anything from a Vodafone gallery. Moreover, I intend to blog about this and register a complaint at the consumer forum.

I am sure you guys feel lucky that you are not in a western country where my friend who bought the phone would have been suing you for causing embarrassment to her at a party where many other guests were present and the emotional discomfort that you have caused to all o[censored]s.

Mr. Naidu has informed me that there is nothing he can do for me apart from giving me a swap phone. He tells me it is not in his power to do anything else in this regard. Upon asking him to direct me to the person who can help me he did not give me any lead. He did not give me his superior's number when I asked for it. He would not give me any email addresses of people who can take the decision either since he is not 'authorized' to do it.

In all the iPhone promotional communication, Vodafone does not communicate that the cost of the phone is around INR 30, 000 + stressful hours at the Vodafone gallery and on the phone with majestically incompetent Vodafone customer service representatives. Then why am I paying this price? This is not what we had bargained for.

Then we were called by Mr. Sunil Naidu on Monday who informed that the phone is fine now and we can pick it up. I took the phone back from the vodafone gallery on Monday evening and it seemed to be working fine. However, later I noticed that it is acting weird. I would pull it out of my pocket and it would have a screen that said slide to power off the phone. I did not even press the power switch and still it showed me that. Then, I was typing a text when that screen came up again. I didnt give it much thought then and ignored it. Then on wednesday night it happened again a couple of times. After that stopped, I saw that the riunger volume is decreasing on its own accord. I could see the bars go down without even touching the volume button. When I tried to increase it, it would increase as long as I held the button and then decrease again when I released it. After a while, it started doing the opposite. I showed the same to my friends who I was celebrating the new years eve with and they suggested that I get the phone replaced. Honestly, I didnt want to go through the ordeal of going and banging my head on the wall called vodafone gallery again so I thought Ill wait for a day and see if it happens again. Today I got late for work, thanks for my great iPhone. I had set an alarm on it, but the ringer volume magically decreased in the night and I didnt hear the alarm ring. I am terribly distressed at this point and I do not know what to do. They are refusing to give me a box packed phone as a replacement. They say they will give me a 'swap phone.' I do not know what a swap phone is, but from my experience working for Dell, I know that replaced electronics are usually refurbished items which are 'as good as new' but not new. So they would not give me a box packed phone and they would not give me a written guarantee that the swap phone they are giving me is a new phone either. Now I am turning to you for help. I believe that since we have paid for a brand new box packed phone, it is my right to receive a bix packed phone and not some swap phone.

This is preposterous. I always have had a problem with the way Vodafone handles things. And you are right about Alfa store. The price is lesser there and they give better after sales service.
Staying with the so called 'Vodafone Service' let us fast forward to today after around 1:30 pm (Sat). I was taking a well-deserved nap when the doorbell rings. I open the door with sleepy eyes and see 3 people staring at me. They say that they have come from Vodafone and wanted to speak to someone in the family who had a Vodafone connection to talk about plans and service. I very sweetly told them I stayed alone and that I had a Vodafone connection however it would be nice if they came later since I was trying to take a nap. I also told them it is not the right time to come in the afternoon to which the girl very cheekily replies with a very sarcastic smile on her face "Mam, it is just 1:30 and I didnt know you would be sleeping". Beat that. They didnt even budge from my door and kept bombarding me with questions!

It doesnt end here. 2 months back I had called up Vodafone to get my Pre-paid connection converted in to a post-paid. It was quite urgent. I called them some 4 times and each time someone promised me that a representative would come to my office and get the documents and blah blah. Till today I am waiting for that representative to arrive,

Vodafone, ehh, keep up the good work.

Vodafone — Apple iPhone not working

                    Hi,

My name is Ashish Jalan and I have a problem to report.

I purchased an Apple iPhone (purchased details listed below) on the afternoon of 20th July from Vodafone store in City Center, Kolkata. The phone has a defect which needs to be resolved. The Accelerometer and other multi touch sensors are not working.

I called Apple support in India and the US. Per Apple there is a hardware fault and the phone needs to be replaced. They also asked me to speak to Vodafone here. I logged a call with Apple vide iPhone case no[protected].

I tried calling the vodafone helpline after that and I got a POOR response. The customer service executive said he spoke to his technical person but they have no idea of the issue. On insisting that I need a resolution he said someone will try calling me. He had no idea what needs to be done. I also had to specifically ask for a complain no. which is reluctantly provided. The complaint no is[protected].
This is a serious deficiency and I need the phone replaced immediately.

                    Srl No. - 8183581NY7K

The phone was taken back by the Vodafone store with a committment that a NEW phone would be given to me in 5-7 days. After 7 days I was called and handed over a refurbished phone which had physical damage. I refrained from taking the phone and demanded a new replacement.

While they have taken it back I am not sure if they would replace with a box new piece given their behaviour

I am being harrased and made to suffer both mentally and emotionally as to why I bought a product like this.

Its is one of the most expensive phones out there in the market. I am losing time and effort in this whole deal and affected, harrased and left to lick my wounds in this mess

Vodafone Iphone — Never buy Iphone from Vodafone

Well there is a common problem which everyone is facing with Iphone wire. The ends of the inside wire can be seen. Due to not proper grip of wire ends.

Airtel is replacing teh wire as well as the headset of Iphone. I know many friend of mine got it replaced from Airtel free if within warranty.

Where as Vodafone disagrees to replace it when it was within warranty. They have not written anywhere on the bill or papers that Iphone accessory doesnt come under warranty.

Airtel is giving a good service to its Iphone customers.

Vodafone this is very bad. I regret it to be a vodafone customer since 2003.
                    Hey Gaurav,

I am considering buying an iPhone here in India. I had one in Canada which got stolen.

I was thinking of picking one from the Vodafone store, so I can be assured of reliable support instead of buying it from the grey market.

Did your problem finally get resolved?

                        Dear All

I purchased a Handset from Vodafone assuming and expecting the brand service. My phone goes out of network and it will never show connected. If you are fortunate enough, you will get connected on restarting the phone else again switch off and switch on the phone till you get connection.

After visiting Vodafone Gallery for almost 8 times I got Hand set replaced, but issue still continue from the day one of replacement.

Even the Vodafone Gallery don't keep replacement piece, they expect you to leave the phone for 10 working days for Repairs / Replacement without any standby phone provided. If you want such service from any other phone sellers like Nokia or Sony they may take maximum of two days.

MY SINCERE SUGGESTION NOT TO TRY OUT VODAFONE MAGIC BOX, KEEPING IN MIND 2 YEARS REPLACEMENT WARRANTY. YOU WILL NOT EVEN GET SERVICE FOR MANUFACTURING DEFECTS.

                        Thanks
                        Chirag Shah

                        Complaint marked as Resolved

Vodafone & Sagem — Sagem Handset got switched off

I purchased a Hutch connection in
July this year along with the the Sagem Handset(Under
the scheme where the Sim only works with the same
handset and there are 500 mins Hutch to Hutch free
every month). Last Tuesday the mobile switched off
automatically while it was fully charged. I contacted
my vendor then he sent me to the the Vodafone Care
centre in the Punjabi Bagh. In Punjabi Bagh I was told
to go to service centre located at 112 Allied House
InderLok. The person there told me that the socket was
broken. I do not know how Socket can be broken when
the Handset is lying Idle but the person is not ready
to listen to that and still adamant on that. Then when
I asked him to replace the Socket he said that Rs. 250
will be charged for that. This is highly unethical.
First of all the problem stated by the service centre
is not correct and secondly they are charging for
replacing the part when the handset is under
                        guarantee.

                        sagem — family subscription

I totally agree with Mr.Chirag Shaw. The vodafone magic box 527 systems process is very slow often you become too irritated and the most difficult problem is the service you get from Vodafone store. Too bad service, people do all the tricks to avaoid servicing like take too much of time etc...

                        527 model — Bad service

                        Dear Sir/Madam,
I am unfortunatly vodafone user as corporate customer.
We purchase 12 handsets as well post paid corporate connection form Mapusa ( Goa )vodafone .
We are sorry to say but you have to change your advertisemnet very very poor to help customer not happy to help.
This is third occasion that we are getting badly tretated. In fact there is no value for the customer at your vodafone office.
I was in the vodafone gallary at 6.30 PM and till 7.00PM no one attain me. At the same time the girls which are avilable in your office was chatting and making jiokes on cutstomer we are entering in vodafone gallary. they are making comment how customer walks, looks & talks.
At 7 o clock they down the shutters while I was inside the gallary.
I have paid 100% amount to change the display and i have been ginen faulty display set. No radio working, colour damged, no cover to charging port.
This is what the hel service you people are giving?
We are going to change service network if we the corrective measure has not been taken.
                        My mobile number is [protected]
                        deepak.
I agree with chirag because i have also purchased vodafone 527 model loooking the brand name and offerings but it was totally against my expectation. The handset is not working properly and there are problems related to network, bluetooth, voice clarity and the most important thing after sales service. I am really very surprised to see the way vodafone store is working, the staffs are not very professional and look totally confused if you visit for a particular query.
I have also visited thrice and still waiting for my handset to be replaced, now after reading your story i understood that still i'm 5 visit short to get my handset replaced.

I must say they are NOT HAPPY TO HELP !
I have purchased a Vodafone handset “Fully Loaded Magic Box 527” on 7th October, 2008 from Vodafone Store. While taking this handset it was committed by the executive that the battery back up of this handset is of 2 hours talk time but it is just not more than of 20 minutes. In lieu of this I have to get changed this handset thrice and couple of times new batteries also. For this specific reason and convincing the Vodafone store executive I had to visit Vodafone Store around 12-15 times. I am fully agree with the others that Vodafone store executives rather giving solution are just wasting a lot of time of the consumer.
i purchased vodafone 527 model. my display broken how can i service the mobile.. is a can repair in nearest vodafone stores or i can change any other new vodafone by exchage order.but i don't have any receipt.

                          Dear Sir,

We are having our manufacturing Units at Ankleshwar in Gujarat. We are customer of Vodafone and we have more than 150 CUG connections for our EPABX and for our employees. Despite of our repeated complaints complaints calls for Vodafone Land line No : [protected] at our Unit-2 and another Landline No : [protected] at our Unit-1.

we regret to inform you that, we are facing this problem since long and most of the time it is out of order. Unfortunately the Vodafone representative are unable to solve this problem permanently. If you go in to the depth of this problem, the representative are taking so much time in attending the problem. Even after attending the problem it is reputedly occurring, as a result we could not use the services efficiently.

Even we found lot of difficulties in approaching the technician/ engineer.

I was shocked while interaction with their mr. VijeyandraSinh when he abruptly denied to listen my problem and responded without hesitation that "if you would like to discontinue you can discontinue. We are not here to listen your complaints. FCT is not our product and for that we cant do anything. It is Visiontech product and Vodafone is not responsible for the call services."

We have installed this FCT from Vodafone and being a Vodafone customer we can not approach to Visiontech or any other agencies.

Even he has replied that “I will respond with the same reason even if you want in writing”

So far we are facing this problem permanently, if you investigate the matter you will be convinced that how they are lingering the problem since long.

As an outcome of the above problem we are unable to utilise the services and therefore our work gets hampered and it affect our business indirectly.

May I request to interven in this matter to give justice in this matter.

                              Dear Sir,

On[protected], my one of Vodafone No. [protected] and on[protected] another Vodafone No. [protected] caller's tune got avtivated without my consent, knowledge and information by the Vodafone Chennai Company. And for which a sum of Rs. 30 + 30 was scrapped off from my prepaid balance a/c. as tune charges.

Neither i keep interest in caller's tune activation nor i placed any request for it. The Vodafone is cheating customers by using their electronics controlling systems. Because our hard earned money is under their control as pre-paid balance account.

On what basis and under what grounds of power the Vodafone has activated the caller's tune against the wish and will of Customer and stole the money as " CHARGES".

I really APPRECIATE the Vodafone company that it has chossen a very good way of stealing customer's hard earned money.

I want my money Rs. 30 + 30 back to my credit which was stolen by Vodafone.

What the Vodafone has done is totally againt the CONSUMER'S PROTECTION ACT.
For which i went to the Chennai main office of Vodafone on[protected] to handover a complaint. They read the matter but refused to accept it. So i posted the complaint through Rgd. post on[protected].

                              Thanking you

The STD Call Charge for Vodafone Prepaid Service is Rs. 1.30 per minue. This was the charge i was paying till now. Suddenly, they have started charging Rs. 1.50 per minute. I have niether changed the plan nor anything else. Also, the vodafone- India website does not display the toll-free customer care call centre no.
There are regular auto-calls from them. The regular calls are disturbing and call-drop rate is very high. It is unarguably the worst service provider.
                                    I agree Sir...

My worst experience began with Vodafone when I firstly activated my mobile connect services on 4 June 2008 on my existing number. After making a request to activate it I realized its too costly as compared to the free wi fi connectivity on my iphone, so, I wanted to deactivate it. Vodafone follows a procedure to activate or deactivate the services by messages. I sent a message to deactivate it but never got a confirmation. Then I called customer care to deactivate. They said it has been deactivated. My bad experiences with Vodafone underlines:
                                      1. So I called to confirm it and got a respond that due to some technical problem you haven’t deactivated it before but we will do it now manually and not by an sms. Then I never checked it whether it was deactivated or not.
                                      2. I was on the scheme to get the bill on my mails, which mind it, they never send me.
                                      3. Then When on 28 November, I call customer care centre to ask for my bills to be send for the last 4 months, what I see there is Mobile connect charges on me every month. (I have activated for 199 plan, and on the rocks they were charging me 499 every month.) Firstly they never send you a bill on your mails and then they over charge you on the services you have already deactivated. But now when I have asked the bills and have the records of the Last 6 months in which I was charged unnecessarily the amount every month, you are not cooperating with me.
Besides being an old customer of Vodafone, I am a member of Consumer court under the act Consumer Protection 1986.

I think you would be concerned and take the immediate actions for it.

Reference number: [protected], [protected], [protected],[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected],[protected].

Moreover when I talked to the senior executive at 111, name Sandeep, he told me that my problem will be solved. And for that matter I said I will wait to pay the bill of November so that I can get the refund.

Current Status; they say I won’t get any reversals.

Please I would like to say the concerned authority that they should take some serious steps.
