[Resolved]  Vodafone — Bad customer service and misbehaviour

rupees 37/-for UP,Bihar,Jharkhand & Gujrat on 18 Dec 07, but all call charged @ of rupees 2.65 per minute. as per Your all add and publicity , all STD calls will be provide at Rs 1/- but after recharged all are charged at 2.65 per minute. everythings was false. At present your cusumer care take no response.My complaints Nos are[protected] dt 27 Dec[protected] dt 31 Dec[protected]Jan08. Please intimate present position of the complaint. i have a lifetime vodaphone connection in my mobile since few mounths and i am getting very very bad service from it.First of all they cheated very much.example.when i am going to call a regular number sometimes it tell me that number does not exist,and it cut my balance for the call of that number which it telling does not exist...very nice..Then when i call to the customar care they told me to call 24 hurs later.ok .When after 24 hurs later i call there, they give me some fake reason for their gulty..great...sometimes they take complain but dont give any response according to it...when i going tell it to them,they again make fake reson and do argument badly...no manners...is they forgot that we are the customar,we are paing...and we are cheated..if this thing is done one time then it can be forgivable...but this incident is done 5time..is it forgivable??
I live in Kumily,Idukki District, kerala. I asked for a new connection two weeks ago and I was duly granted one on the payment of Rs. 500 and an additionla charge for my top up card! Then I got cut off completely. Pretext- I didi not have a residence proff for Kumily and my Indian passport has a Kodaikanal address. Then I was asked to get a Gazetted Officer's signature which I diid and after submission I was told it would take 24 hours to reconnect!!!
I am still waiting for my reconnection! Do the minions in Vodafone realise that it is thoroughly unconstitutional to not give a connection on the basis of an Indian passport or is it just the Malayali chauvinism that predates and prejudices every application from a non Malayali?
Please do the needful or else I will have no choice but to ask the Supreme Court of India to take a special interest in this!!!
GLOBAL DIRECT, one of the worst selling agents. The executive do not respond to you properly. When asked to give in writing on Letter Head they would not do so. Tried calling Global Direct on the nos. mentioned on the receipt, but you would be lucky if you get thru. Or you are kept on longgg hold. The executive Nisha Khanna. had promised to convert our grp 10 plan to 50 p all local call but till today almost 3 months they have not done. ...The manager Arvind andhle cell no [protected] doesn't pick up the phone and is not avaiable.... worst to worst services from GLOBAL DIRECT...AND I can't understand why VODAFONE is having such kind of stupid DSA's. that mean Vodafone is also worst.
I regret to inform your services whch really shocking me as being long time post paid customer ([protected]). I am NRI staying in India 6 months and rest outside India.Every time when I come back from abroad I never get my mobile signal in Mumbai but no problem when i come to kolkata directly which reveals that the problem exists in roaming.I have tried my best to convience the same to your customer care but their co-operations donot help me to get rid of said problem.This time I have determined to get out of this problem by asking Vodafone a favour to change my phone to prepaid.Since this is not witin vodefone policy/ scheme I am unable to maintain my account with you.Also note some of your call centre personnel (Mr.Ranjit Sharma)and sales executive (Mr.Rudha)they not even know how to talk with their customer. In view of aforesaid problems I could easily smell this telephone company is no more the way she was before and before relation gets spoil it's always better to quit. I am here to get my service not to spoil my relaton and peace of minds as well. Thanks, would appreciate if you could inform me the procedure of surrendering my phone . I have a pending pill to pay will be paid don't worry for the same. Be happy with your company.

I am ex postpaid customer vodafone services. My plan New Talk Plan 150 in one year rental from 13/3/2007 to 13/3/2008, (Payment Rs.1010/-). I Disconnection my line on February 4, 2008. (Which i already mail on dated 4/2/2008) to VODAFONECARE.[protected]@Vodafone.com. You are reply also, that it would be disconnect from 48 hrs.

this is more than the worst experience i am having since the day i choose to vodafone.
I have long story to tell you and planning to go to consumer court as i am being troubled again and again.
I took this connection in march it took long than a week to get the sim working.. then i applied for GPRS plan and again the same duration to get the plan working... well i called 111 hundreds of time and customer care hardly get connected and even if gets connected, 8 out of 10 times ypur happy to help representative hanged up with out even care to listen to the customer.. is this the way they are pretty happy to help????.
Well that also pass over some how.. now i was traveling and i found that my Vodafone sim is deactivated with out any notice this was the time i had to think to go to consumer court.. it was ridiculous and frustrating to get the sim deactivated at the time i was traveling and needed it on top of everything..
well i tried 100 times customer care no. 111 (happy to help you) but they are pretty unhappy to even get the call it seems.. they do not even want to listen what is the problem of customer.. instead they forced me to pay the bill (mind it that I was traveling and was not in the condition to pay the bill and told the same thing to Vodafone happy to help CSRs) what i was not supposed to as i am using GPRS 299 unlimited plan that Vodafone consolidated at the end of the month so that is not my responsibility.. and when they do it at the end of month the bill is supposed to exceed the limit for sure.. hell they do not even understand this thing.. anyhow one gentleman understood and activated the phone .. phew!
but no next day again they deactivated the same indulging mr to go to consumer court and file a case against them. many a times i called customer care ()unhappy to help you) and got once in hundred times and they were so adamant that they kept telling that we get ur request and will do the need full. i can not write how frustrating it was when u need it at the most and u don't get it all u get it negative response from the service provider who promises happy to help you..
finally i paid the amount because i needed it, not the Vodafone cares about the customer.. i am really surprised how long it will take Vodafone to disappear from Indian market if the same is the case with other customer.. i am possessing the corporate plan so i wonder how much the normal people would have been suffering.. if this is the way they respond to a corporate customer..
well now i got it activated and i don't really know when they will de activated it again and again i may be dialing 111 thousands time to speak to a representative once who will not listen to me anyway... i had Idea earlier and i really miss that.

Conclusion is i have 299 unlimited price plan. if you consolidate it at the end that is not my problem and my services should get deactivated without a prior notice.
I am planning to go to consumer court anyhow.
This was the biggest mistake i made in choosing Vodafone. i am suffering a lot for it.
Please do the need full ASAP.

Global Direct people visited my home and told me that both of my no's, [protected] and [protected] would changed to GTK 299 plan (Re 1 STD and 0.6 local) within 3 days. They also took money for that. When I checked after a month, it was not changed at all and I ended up paying extra money. When I called vodafone customer care, they changed it on 9th May 2008. I lost a lot of money because of that.

Vodafone India — Horrible CUstomer Service

Instead of spending millions on commercials saying Vodafone execs are "Happy to Help", the company should invest this money in training their call center agents or hiring better employees because THEY JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND AND JUST DON'T CARE.

Legacy Hutch used to be wonderful, I had faced absolutely no issues in the last SEVEN years. But since the time Vodafone has taken over, their customer service SUCKS.

The agents disconnect calls while on hold, block customer's ability to reach a rep thru the IVR (yes, they can do it and have done it twice with me, the moment I selected the option to reach a re, the IVR threw me back on the landing script. Reason "You called Vodafone more than once for the same issue"????!!!?? GIVE ME A BREAK! I called more than once because your SUPER SUCKER REPS were unable to resolve the issue on the first call. There's something called FTR (First time resolution) which this company doesn't know exists.

I can't tell how desperate I am for the number portability act to come into effect. Will have to wait till 2009 to switch to Airtel with the same number I've had for over seven years.

I enabled the new STD pack (Rs. 1.3/min) after reading from their website that there are no hidden charges for the same. I lost all my free calls and SMS after I enabled this. When I called the customer care, they checked the database and said that my free SMS are still valid and asked me to try sending a SMS and call customer care again. I tried sending a SMS and I was charged and when I called them back they were talking to me very rude. They took a complaint from me when I threatened them with consumer court. Then they closed the complaint quietly and when I called them back they are rude to the core. I have never seen any customer care that is so rude as these guys. Please don't believe their advertisements of friendly customer care. They are big cheaters and rude people.

These guys suck.

i am post paid customer with corporate connection from punjab with no [protected] i am paying my bills regularly . In this corporate connection there is facility of 400 sms free local and national.The company charged sms charges in my bill.I requested the company time and again but every time request was turned down without giving me any notice then i contacted corporate cell office at amritsar through naveen narula who intervened in the matter anr sms charges were reversed but company charged late fee charge on remaining bill of sms charges for two months.I requested to reverse the same but the company again declined the request i refused to pay late fee on account mistake of the company ultimately the company stopped outgoing but bill again recieved after the date of barring outgoing i again requested to charge yhe bill upto the date when the outgoing was stopped but the company again declined but no infomation was given to me after about one year my sexond connebtion was closed despitemy regular bill payment and without any notice.the sewcond mob no is [protected]

Vodafone India — Bad Service

Sir My number ([protected]), often being deducted by any service without any of the request from us. Last month Rs.50 is deducted from my account. Now this month also Rs.50 is taken. When I call the customer care they said you have activated the Radio service, but I have not done that activation. Please do better services for me. Thankyou
