Dear sir,

I have been overcharged in the billed amount for the period: 22.01.08 to 21.02.08. I have a serious issue pending with the call center in relation with this bill Bill no. [protected]; dated: 22.02.08.

I got the vodafone radio activated on 28.01.2008; time: 21:24:48 by calling on 567999. Hence I was supposed to be charged 0.30/- per minute. But in no sms confirming the activation the number to be dialed was mentioned. Hence I kept on using the old number for Vodafone radio: 56799.

By next day itself I realized that things are wrong with the Vodafone radio usage and I am being charged 3rs/min. Since then I kept on calling vodafone call centre at 111 to clarify with the charges, and to understand the reason for increase in bill. I informed them each time, that I am dialing 56799 to access the Vodafone radio. And the bill is increasing too much, and there is some issue, and I am getting charged 3 Rs/ min for the service.

And each time I have been told that my charges are 0.30ps/min and asked to continue with the services and informed that it may be a system error.

Still! Considering everyday increasing amount and that may be one CSE may be making a mistake. I called again- n- again to vodafone call centre on as mentioned below

On each call I had clearly mentioned to them that, I have just subscribed to Vodafone radio to reduce the charges to 0.30Rs/ min, but on using the same my charges are skyrocketing. And it may be possible that it is due to the use of Vodafone radio. Each time, I asked them to ask any of senior officer and confirm me back the details, they did kept me on hold for long durations and confirmed me back that there is no charge of Rs.3/- as I have already subscribed to vodafone radio.

Each one of them personally confirmed that I am subscribed to the service and by dialing 56799, I am not making any mistakes and there is nothing to worry about. But when I checked my bill at the end of month. I realized that I have been overcharged, and I have to loose Rs.1068/- @3rs/min.


Since that day I have been complaining with vodafone call centre. First complaint no. being[protected]; raised by them after a lot of effort and after lot of pressing through the executives: (after several painful calls) that too by a Senior Customer Service executive.

In reply to which I received no answer back; I had again called back later- I was again denied to speak with any senior executive and another complained was raised from the call centre. In reply to this I got a call from their executive: who shamefully kept on saying that until I agree to the words that the person who gave me wrong information was a CSE of the name Garima(name too being given by him), he will not be helping me. On which, when I did not agree, (for the same info was provided to me by 2 other junior executives and one senior executive) he disconnected the call. Since then I have tried calling vodafoen Call centre again-n-again, none of my queries on the complaint are being answered properly, saying if I can not identify the name of the executive who gave me information, calling is useless, and they will not help. Executives have bluntly ignored my pleas to transfer any of my calls to any senior personal…repeating…..that decision has been made, I have to pay the amount.

I am damn fed up of this follow up. And feel lot of discomfort in not depositing the billed amount as my outgoing has been barred. But after facing such an attitude towards my repeated pleas. I have no idea what can be done with such sweet service providers.

On payment day there serves was not working so after sitting about an hour i had to come back and went next day to pay.

Dear sir,
I taken a vodafone postpaid connection on april-2009. 18 th of this month. Tariff is 199 essel.
std rate is 0.75 ps.
when i call to another phone the call duration is showing double.( i call to my friend s mobile that time his call summery showing 4 seconds and my call summury showing 8 seconds. ) same happend when he calling me. that means the call duration time is wrong. almost duble. why it is happen. how i correct the same. otherwise i want to cancell the no. because of my bill amount is coming double. pls look in to the matter and call me.

I atek a vodafone connection on april 25 th-2009.
Actualy when i ataken the connection that time told to me vodafone to vodafone call absolutly free. but when i calling to another vodfone that time added the amount in my account. also SMS charge added in account. almost 2000 smd free for one month.but charge added. my tariff is 249 essel. the std call rate aslo 0.65 paise.but now i check my account on 29 th of this month that time showing my bill amount is 421.00/- this is only for four days.it is posible.? why the charges added this like vodfone call charge and sms charge.pls give the proper replay. otherwise i want to cancell the connection.

Vodafone Radio Pls Deactivetd My Mobile No- [protected]

Vodafone — Incorrect and overcharged bill

I got vodafone 3G service activated on my mobile more than two months back. Before that i was using vodafone internet data plan for iphone. Ideally vodafone should have deactivated the previous internet data plan after activation of the new plan but when the bill came they had charged for both the plans..???
then when i called their customer care they said you should have asked for the deactivation of the previous plan so we can't do anything about it..
anyway i placed a request for the iphone data plan to be deactivated. But again they had included the charges in the next month's bill. Not only that, they had charged a lot of money for roaming services even though i was not on roaming the whole month...
Also, they had charged money for all the local sms that i had sent @ 1 rupee per sms even though i had free sms plan activated on my no. @ Rs. 35

This is just cheating on the part of vodafone and is simply unacceptable. I want to file a case against them.

    I'm a vodafone user.I'd not requested any call divert option but still the call divert has been activated on my phone.I've called customer care for assistance and followed the procedure suggested by them to deactivate it but it is still not deactivated.

    Postpaid Connection — complaint regarding diverted calls

    dear sir,
    i would like to remind you that i Pankaj Kumar Singh had the post paid
    vodafone connection number from a very long time [protected] with a
    paid premium of Rs 15000 . Since then i am facing the problems of
    call divert. therefore i requested the vodafone office in mathura to
    kindly convert my post paid to pre paid connection.later on my number
    was used officially by vodafone to register IMEI number to the
    customer, i got it registered but they used my number. then again i
    got my complaint registered and the problem was sorted. and now when
    after so much of time gone i started number on 3rd march found that
    the sim registration had failed and the sim was swaped to mittal
    teleservices shikohabad

    now what i would tell you is this that nobody is drawing attention at
    my problem in mathura vodafone office, all i want is to kindly close
    my number as i am recieving unnecessary threatening calls using all
    those bad words. if anything happens to me the vodaphone office
    mathura will be responsible for my health and safety.

    Today from Morning itself I got more than 5 calls from wrong numbers. Some body has diverted all calls to my number. It is giving more problem to me.

      my vodafone mobile number is [protected], I was getting commercial calls and messages from unknown as well as vodafone numbers . For the same i registered with Do Not Call on 26th december 2008, but after that i was still getting Commercial calls and messages, i called care, executive told me that HE IS SORRY FOR ALL THIS, and registered my complaint .complaint number[protected], he told me strange thing that it would take 21 days maximum to get this issue fixed . i waited for 21 days but no response from them, and i was still gettiing commercial messages. so i called care executive told me " 1ST YOU REGISTERED WITH DO NOT CALL IT TAKES 45 DAYS THEN YOU REGISTERED YOUR COMPLAINT WHICH TAKES 21 DAYS, AND NOW WHEN THIS IS NOT WORKING YOU HAVE TO REGISTER ANOTHER COMPLAINT BECOZ COMPLAINT HAD NOT BEEN REVERTED " ..i really need an answer for that ..

      I am having prepaid connection of vodafone and my no is [protected].I received an sms from vodafone about MYSMS scheme so that i will get 100 sms national and local per day.I called vodafone customer care and they told me that i can avail that service.I tried to avail the service but just the amount was deducted but i was not able to send messages.When I called vodafone care again Mr.Kapil picked up the phone and put me on hold for 15 mins and then disconnected the call.I called again and the Mr Tarikh Aziz picked up the phone and told me thae same story and said that I my money was wasted and I need to send sms tomorrow again and the money will be deducted.I told him to transfer my call to Supervisor and he put me on hold for 10 mins and then Mr Vinod Sehgal picked up the call and said he is supervisor, he was not able to speak properly, I was not at all able to understand his language he was not able to speak english or hindi properly then when i told him to transfer the call to manager he denied to do that and said i should disconnect the call.I said I am not going to do that then he put me on hold for 15 mins and I got disconnected.I am really disappointed with your cust care service.Please hire people who can help your customers in proper way for your growing business.
      Following is my vodafone number: [protected]. The outgoing and sms facilities are been blocked to the same number a week before claiming that my proof has not been submitted properly. I have submitted the proof on 29th mar 10 to the Vodafone store at sarajapur, Bangalore. But no use.. Again i went today to the vodafone store to inquire about the status and i have submitted the proof again. They told that the services will be activated after an hour but till they are not activated. It hurts me a lot. I can't often go to the store as my residence is far away from it.

      I Ajay bisht using vodafone prepaid number [protected] . I hv recharged my no. by Rs.555 on 8th June, 2011. At the same time i got Rs.503 at tehsame time but the remaining balance Rs.96 till date its not credited in my account, As per the scheme.

      I hv talked so many times in customer care but the didn't help me in this matter, The executive of custmer care used abusive language .please help be in this matter.Hope u ll revert back soon or take action against this matter.

      Vodafone — misbehaviour over phone

      I had called up to discontinue my Blackberry scheme at around 8.45 pm and was routed to Blackberry, I phone 3G department and an executive who introduced himself as Omkar Yadav provided wrong information to me and on asking for a reference number for the conversation he gave me some random number and when i asked him to repeat the number he started misbehaving and said the number is lost in the stars and was singing songs. He said that my scheme is till 19 September where I know that it is not possible since I had taken this scheme on 7th August 2010 and it was annual payment and no way it could continue till September. Now I wish to register a complaint for misbehaving with a female and singing and providing weird answer like lost in the stars etc. This is absolutely not tolerable.kindly register a complaint and follow the issue.

        Hello !

        There is a new way Vodafone has started making money from its subscribers.
        I spoke to Vodafone (Can't called them customer care, as they don't really take CARE. moreover, they harrass customers) last month for wrongly charging me for Caller Tunes, which i had never asked for. The call centre guy said he would reverse the entry. I was sure they would not put their act to-gather again, so i confirmed with him that i should not get this charge again next month. AND here i was taken for a surprise. They charged me again for Caller Tunes, and just as they were short of making any additional money or extorting from me, they charged me this month for itemised bill. Now when on earth did i ask them for this. This is my add-on card, only for receiving calls, bill of which is never more than Rs. 100/-. And since they could not find any better means of making money from me they resorted to these means. I think small time businessmen should learn from this how to make BIG money. Even if they wrongly charge Rs. 30/- for Caller Tunes to a few thousands or lakhs of their subscribers, imagine the amount of money they make in a month. Very few poeple call them back asking for a refund. And the Vodafone guys really don't give deed to nay one. Lets accept the fact, there are less literate or illerate poeple who cannot communicate to them properly and the company takes undue advantage ot his. (10, 000 people x Rs. 30/-. Rs. 3, 00, 000/- only). 10, 000 is a very small indicative figure. I am not surprised how these corporations grow big. A fantastic way to make illegal money legally. To be noted is another thing that they reply to anyone in writing. They will ask to give things in wriitng or email them, but never ever on such issues will they give anything in writing to a subsciber. I have myself written few emails and given them a hand written letter to a Vodafine store, but not to receive a reply in writing from them. I REQUEST, if there are any like minded people willing to fight back these thieves and dacoits to join hands.
        And they have become even worse on becoming Vodafone. Hutch was any day better then them. Bad Network. Bad Customer Care. Unlawful charges in bills.

        i requested to that iam not satishfide from vodafone custmer care.Untill today i have balance in negative which is -196.49 Rs in my cell. I am not take any kind of vodafone services or not take any scheme.Plese tell me how to go my balance in negative.

        totally with you on that one.
        I have an old (around 5 years old) PAYU data card that came free with a computer and never been used, and out of the blue have just started getting bills for 0p with £1.47 itemised billing charges!!
        I shall refuse to pay and see how far I can take it. I'm sure it's not legal without at least a letter to warn me that they're going to charge...

        we'll see.

          To Whom it may concern,

          This letter is regarding the vodafone connection [protected].
          I'm very saddened by the fact that the service thats been provide to me was way below acceptable standard.
          I'm sending this mail as complaint and also a request to back date 399 plan from Jan 10/2008.
          From December'07 last week week I was trying to change my plan.1st of all when I contacted vodafone office they told me to take a new connection to avail the corporate plan.But later vodafone care advice me that I can send a request to corporate care.Since I work for a banking process, I'm not allowed to send mail outside company.When I raised this concern they advice me to send a request from our managers i.d. which I did & got a reply that I should put the request from my own official i.d.I again explained situation to vodafone executives in office again thats the only option remaining is to take a new connection which I think was ridiculous.I've checked with vodafone care they were just giving me standard answer instead of giving me a solution.I was so frustrated, I asked for someone higher, for a simple procedure of changing a plan.They again gave me email ids for managers for corporate care outside my company.You dont how frustrated I felt.Finaly my manager in office told me to contact Lubina Ali.She advice to send a mail to her so that she can forward it to corporate care.One of my collegue was also trying to change his plan also.So Lubina advice to put 1 single request for both o[censored]s.My collegue did same as I was on exam leaves.After 3 days lubina replied to put a seperate request for my number, which I did.It took almost 3 weeks, many calls to corporate care managers, many visits to vodafone care & many false promises to get my plan changed.Vodafone promised me also that my plan will be back dated to Jan10/2008 becuase it was not my fault that the so called vodafone care executives dont know how to help a customer with a peculiar problem.You must understand that I took this much stain for a simple plan change during my exam time.
          I was told number of times that 399 plan will be apllied on any bill from Jan'10/2008 itself which never happened and MY WHOLE BILL CAME WRONG FOR JAN'10/2008 TILL FEB'10/2008 which is never corrected till yet and I requested for the correct bill which too I never recieved.
          So I humbly request to back date my plan to Jan 10 /2008 & refund the previous plan charge & also the clip charge thats been added on my bill as I strongly beleive that I'm not the person who have to be penalised for inefficency of the vodafone.By the way i'll tell you two more intesting facts, the plan features provide to me by vodafone in genpact & the plan thats been applied for my connection is different, so I need a mail explaining my tariff plan.
          Another intresting thing I would share with you is that till now I did'nt get any single right information or help from vodafone reagarding my connection, it is my collegues who helped me.
          I hope I'll get an apology letter( not the standard apology) letter & also give me one good reason why should I be with vodafone even after all these trauma.

          I have already sent this mail on 9th march at corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com but nevey had any reply till yet (16/3/08)

          Vodafone — Non resolution of issues and disgusting customer service

          I have been using hutch/vodafone for quite a few years, and it is at its worst state yet.

          I had reported network complaints and pathetic quality of services numerous times. Have registered atleast 10 to 15 complaints and was promised a response to all of them. Not once have i recieved a response. On enquiring , Many times the rude customer care officials and quite a few floor leads actually said, " you may not get a call if its a network complaint and there is nothing we can do about it." or "sorry! is there anyhhing else?"!!!

          Then why commit to a response.

          It would be amusing to know i logged the complaint in June/July and have been foollowing up for a response till date. It has become more of a hobby and research. I have recorded almost all conversations with HutchCare, have all their message communicationa nd others stored, figuring out the best way to use it.

          They take customers for granted and infact treat them like dirt. I know a lot of ppl who face similiar problems with hutch, and what irritates most is the total llack of response and ill treatment from customer service. Just false commitments. A bunch of ppl us sitting to listen to irate customers and forget about it once the call is cut.

          I even had customer care execs screaming at me, and other s refusing to take down a complaint about the same!!??

          Pathetic!!! Absolutely.
          People should be more aware of customer rights and deal with this legally. Organization of such a large nature are taking advanatage of consumers and above all that, providing substandard service and ill treating them too!!

          Vodafone — There is no service like Customer Executive

          I m unable to talk with customer executive as there is no option in their customer care number.

          2day i sent mes to my friends. i recd the delivery report.but it cant not delivered.after a long time i know this.

          i already inform this to customer service but nobody take responsible for this.

          I spoke with customer care executives many times,they said we will connect with seniour till that be patient on the line.
          I was waiting aroung 15min at every time after that the call was disconnected automatically.
          This is very horriable to me and making a head ache as well.
          y it happnd in vodafone only.i dont know?

          i thk god only know this.

Guys in Vodafone customer care are shame less, non-technical, incompetent, useless and they also do not have any authority. They cannot even forward your call to Vodafone people. All they know to save is "..sorry for the inconveneance..." and "... we would like to tell you...".

          These guys (companies like Vodafone, Airtel) have built an empire on our money and I think, we deserve more decent service atleast better than this. They talk so much on TV and newspaper ad but when it comes to service, they are at bottom. I think, we should also create public awareness by going to media and showing experiances there..

          For my case, I am going to write a seperate thread and also go public using media.

          Vodafone Connection — Allotted me a number which was already assigned to someone else

          Last month I have taken a Vodafone connection (a mistake which I regret) from a Vodafone representative at my office

          At first they allotted me a number ([protected]) which was already allotted to someone then after one week time they activated my account with a different number ([protected])

          And when I brought to their notice this problem they deactivated my account mentioning “Verification Failed” though I have deposited all the relevant documents and asked them to bill me at my official address

          I had been called from your customer care centre for the last ten days offering me the Gold Card for which I have been selected (i.e Post Paid Scheme).
          Your Customer care executives had verified my identity over phone and finalised appointment with me on 7th June 2008 & 11th June 2008 subsequently.
          However no persons of your company had turned up on both the occasions nor got in touch. I feel very much insulted for the incident.

          Vodafone — Abusive/disgusting customer service

          My name is Vikrant Chawla, I have recently moved to India from the UK after being appointed a manager in HCL Technologies. I make many calls and therefore thought it sensible to arrange a contract, which you call prepaid in India. My Brother recommended Vodafone and I have always been very satisfied with the Vodafone service in the UK. Three days ago someone from Vodafone visited me at home and took all the necessary documentation and 250 Rs. However, since I had not heard anything regarding the start date of my contract, I decided to call customer services - the story of incompetence starts here. I made a number of calls and found that everybody I spoke to was both rude and unhelpful, I spent most of my time on hold and the rest being laughed at.

          Finally, I talked to one of the guy who was going to transfer my call to someone, when I asked why he couldn't deal with it himself, he replied "I do not deal with this", I asked him to please at least let me know where he was transferring my call, he proceeded to start yelling at me saying "don't you understand we do not deal with this", I requested that he should lower his tone with me, however, he started threatening and abusing me, using distasteful words directed at myself and my family.

          I feel it is my duty to report this to you I find it is utterly unacceptable for customers to be treated so poorly and reflects very badly on Vodafone's reputation. I would very much like to hear from someone within your organization with some kind of explanation for this experience - I can certainly ensure it falls very short of the customer services expectation within the UK and I am certain that senior management in Vodafone would very disappointed to hear how short India falls in this very important issue.

          I do not remember the names of those guys but, I guess they both were receptionist ( Guy and Girl ) and the call was kept going through to them. I personally fell that strict action should be taken against them.

          i am highly dissatisfied with customer care of vodafone.
          i hav talked to customer care executive regarding my complaint but beside of solving my problems they absued me and used vurgular words to me.
          way of talking of the executives to me was like a illitrate person even illitrate persons dont use those words which are used by the customer care executives.This is not for a specific person, this complaint is for all the customer care executives.

          Vodafone — Regarding Customer Care

          I took fresh new two postpaid connections of Vodafone on 23 Sep 2008 since then i am calling the customer care department because these are my cooperate connections, so to enquire about roaming calling and sms charges i m calling the Customer Care. But everytime my call lands to prepaid department and from past 1 week i m hearing that 'Sir for first 2 weeks ur call will land to prepaid then to postpaid department '. I already have postpaid connection of Airtel but never heared this excuses before, everytime they told me that, we are not able see ur details please postpaid department. I dialed more than 100 times but everytime my call connects or may be the customer care executives are in blue mood everytime.


          Kindly look into the issue as soon as possible, otherwise i would quit from Vodafone.

          This is compliant against in house miscommunication of inter-departments of Vodafone india(The largest network communication service provider)

          Iam using no.[protected] frm last 3yrs for my biz purpose, and satisfied with the services opted for a USB connection (usb stick and no.[protected]) dedicatedly for internet usage and paid Rs 5999/- + service tax extra approx Rs 800. this plan of advance rental in which 1 GB(REAPT)1GB is free.From the date of purchase till date I have not used more than 600-700 mb (courtsy vodafone)as half of the month the no. is deactivated.From last 6 months I AM RUNNING FROM PILLAR TO POST TO GET THIS PROBLRM RESOLVED.Finally mr. Om a senior executive solved my problem and assured me for a hassel free sarvice henceforth, as the problem was only 500mb was free and updated in your records i/r/o 1gb, and so the bill above 500 mb was reflected in my monthly bill which was reverted.

          Hi Sir/Madam,

          My name is Lokesh Kumar Sharma and my cell no. is [protected]. I am
          simply not satisfied with services provided by your technical back-end
          team. So here I want to register an official complaint against this
          department whoever concerns are responsible for same.

          Let me explain you my problems:-

          The whole matter starts from 19th March 09, I am using Motorola L9 set
          and I wanted to start MMS service on my cell phone, so first of all I
          tried myself to activate GPRS and MMS then I came to know GPRS already
          activated on my cell but when I want to activate MMS I received
          message "Update Required" so I called up for same problem and I got
          service registration no. "[protected]" for same query and my problem
          should've resolve by Saturday 21-Mar-09. But I didn’t receive any call
          till Monday so I called up again at 111 customer care again regarding
          same problem but the customer care executive checked out the status of
          same request no. and it showed something like technical department
          called me up but my cell was unreachable. So I got another request id
          on 23-mar-09 that technical team will get back to me by 25-march-09.
          This time I got a call from a technical department, I told them whole
          problem and the technical person told me to select install from the
          message he will send to me just after this call. Same time I got a
          message “A connection setting will arrive shortly. Your PIN Code
          is1234. Select “install” to update the phone.”

          But here new problem occurred I got a message alert but no message was
          there, now one message icon 24*7 attached on the top of my cell but
          there was no message to select install or anything else. I called up
          111 customer care again and escalated the last problem and this new
          one too, now I got another request id and asked me to wait for next 2
          days for call from technical team. I waited till 29th march 09 but
          finally It was me only calling back for new request id like a stupid,
          anyways I had to call to customer care yesterday as this message alert
          on the top of my cell phone irritating me and asked the customer care
          executive status of my request id “[protected]” which provided to me on
          25th March- 09, the guy checked out same request and again answer was
          same Technical team called me up and my cell was unreachable.

          This time I decided to report one official complaint against your
          back-end technical team so guy showed me the way to go to nearest
          Vodafone store and report there he can’t do anything and again I got
          new 4th request id “[protected]”. Still I am not expecting any
          co-operation from your “Good for nothing technical back end team”.
          Your technical back-end team is not co-operating with me, my cell is
          working 24*7 and It never get switch off, there was no missed call
          from any unknown number so it proofs these peoples not working
          properly and just updating my request id’s without making any call
          back to me.

          Finally I want to resolve 3 issues now.

          1. I want MMS activation on my Motorola L9 set.
          2. The message alert appearing on my cell I want to remove that.
          3. The concern technical persons updating status of my request without
          doing anything, there should be some strict action against them. I
          guess this is the genuine request against faulty guys.

          I am hoping for co-operation from you guys now but if still nothing
          happens, I will take this matter to consumer court. I want all these
          problems resolved by 31st march 09 according to my last request id
          “[protected]”.

          Please note my mobile no.[protected]. I had paid Rs. 25.00 for recharging my prepaid connection to Mr. Amit your authorised prepaid coupon vendor-Mobile no. [protected] name Mr. Amit on 03.05.09 at Mango, Dimna Road, Jamshedpur. He confirmed that the amount has been deducted from his account and will reflect in an hour on my mobile. Later he confirmed that the amount has been deducted and now I should talk to customer care. On talking to customer care no. 111, I spoke to Mr. Avinash Prasad-customer care executive who was ruthless & reluctant in his replies and just ignored to accept the complaint. Please look into the case and take serious action against Mr. Amit and Mr. Avinash.

          I have a very serious complaint to make against vodafone employees taking care of your customer care.

          Since a few days i am having a problem with my number. My friends from germany have been trying to call me a number of times and are unable to get through to my number. I had filed a complaint to this regard in the morning of today and the problem was rectified for about 4 hours. Again since 14.30 hours the same problem cropped up and again the persons were not able to call me. Each time they dialed the number their call just switched itself off after the initial connection. In this regard I tried to file a complaint at about 15.15 hours and spoke to a mr praveen in your complaint cell or customer care as you wish to call it. * although customer care seems to be just a name which vodafor cares to give the cell which harasses the subscribers. I asked the executive to file a complaint for my problem. He flatly refused to do so saying that there was nothing wrong with the network and he would in no case file any complaint in this regard and was downright rude to me. I started calling vodafone customer care to speak to somebody senior in the department. Imagine mysurprise when i realised that i had to make 12 different calls without being connected to thesaid senior. Each time mycall was put on hold and each time after some time the call disconnected without my being able to talk to anybody senior in the department. Finally I got to speak to someone junior who asked me to call again in half an hour. I am finally taking up the matter in writing through email. I find it funny and downright disgraceful that the call of a customer who shoould be valued by you cannot remain connected and vodafone pridesitself on haveing an uninterrupted network worldwide. This is highly disgraceful. I would therefor request you that somebody should please call me up and get my problem rectified. I am being forced to take vodafone to consumer court in case my complaint is not filed and rectified.

          Airtel — Customer Care people treating customers as dogs

          I am not sure about other Airtel customer care centers...But Basawangudi Airtel Center people dont even know basic manners to talk to customers.

          Airtel, Basawanagudi, Bangalore Customer care center is worst customer service.

          I bought Airtel USB modem 15 days before and it is still not yet activated. Because they could not come for address verification. After paying 2999, we are just waiting for them to come to our home and complete the formalities. but these guys are so bad, they dont even bother to do the needful. Also if we go to their center to request to complete the formalities and activate the connection, we will end up with harsh response from them.

          These guys dont know the meaning of cusotmer care.

          We are having the above corporate connections in name of AFCON deptt. since quite long.There were several issues which i needed to be sorted out, but instead of helping me with, the executives asked for bill payment everytime. I paid the bills and even then my issues were unresolved.
          I also visited vodafone store today (19th june, 2009) located at vasanth vihar, there was this attendent named shweta, She behaved so badly and refused to provide any assistant saying that systems are down. I do understand it would be difficult to get information but her behavior was so rude and furthur she was so pervert.
          I guess i had enough with Vodafone.

          On 10th Sep 09 connection has suspended without my notice when i contacted Airtel customer care they intimated me that Verification department ordered them to do it.

          Then i requested Airtel department for Verification Customer care lady informed they will be coming my home on Saturday (12th Sep) so i was waiting for them from 10 AM to 7 PM nobody came

          Sunday holiday, so called on monday directly to Venkat - (USB Model Sales guy Airtel) - Bannerghatta road where i got the hardware and SIM. he suggested me to contact nodal officer Meenakshi

          On 14th sep 2009, Afternoon at 1 PM Airtel verification executive came to my home done the verification and took my signature and promised me that SIM will be activated in another 3 hours time. as promised i got my internet conenction back at 7 PM in the evenning same day.

          On 15th Sep 09 again it's not connecting when checked with Airtel they are again telling verification is not done. so outgoing has been barred . then who's the person who came to my home on 14th Afternoon, ?

I was in a wrong myth that vodafone is one of the best company but the misbehavior of your excutives have proven that it is a hopeless company. I am deeply anguished with their behavior, whenever i had a problem, they never solved instead they misguided me by saying that its a 24hr procedere or within 2 or 3 days your problem will be solved, but it never happened. 4 to 5 times. If I Say that transffer my call to the executive they keep me on hold and after few minutes they disconnect the phone. They use abusive languages which is not acceptable.This is no way to talk to your customer.

          Today is a disaster for me please read the following event:-



          Before 2 days I called Vodafone care to know any competitive plans for my Vodafone Mobile No. as all other companies are providing competitive plans.



          The care executive told me that on my query Vodafone team will call me.



          Now yesterday on 04Nov 09 my friend called me on Home Phone and told my Mobile No. is not working.



          I shocked and tried to call but failed, so I called to Vodafone care,



          I spoke to floor supervisor at 19:45hrs on 04 Nov.



          He told me my no is discontinued on my request,



          I said :- I did not asked for the same.(before two days I just asked for the process of surrender Mobile No., it was not a confirm request) )



          He said :- your request was logged on the same day, our team attempted 3 times talk to you and then disconnected My No.



          I said :- please tell me when team attempted 3 times.



          He said :- we cant tell you, our system is showing.



          I Said :- neither I got any call from Vodafone nor I missed call in last 2 days.



          He said :- I cant do any thing.



          I said :- as I did not confirmed for the same, My no. should not have disconnected, but it may be due to any confusion so please log my complaint and give my complaint No.



          He said :- I cant.



          I requested so many times that I did not get any call, but he was not ready to listen.



          NOW Please Note:-



          I did not requested for discontinue (I just enquired)



          I did not get any call or missed call, I was not out of city, my mobile is always on line.



          Then how Vodafone can disconnect my No.

          Vodafone — Excess billing & services without authorization of customer

          Hello,

          I am an vodafone user from past four years (No. [protected]).

          Recently from past three months they are charging for SMS & MMS services without my knowledge, which was never opted for.

          Apart from the above, I am being charged the clip charges with the late payment fee charges even without resolving the issue. I have sent around 5 e-mails to Vodafone legal section & even have registered a compalint at vodafone center at R T nagar. ( Ref: [protected])

          Even without responding to the compaint they have sent the legal notice via e-mail.

          Nine months back, I had submitted the proof regarding change of address for billing purpose at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad Vodafone Centre. Nothing happened. The bill continued to be delivered at the old address. Again 3 months back SIMILAR REQUEST AND DOCUMENTS WERE SUBMITTED AT
          Sohna Road located Vodafone Centre (Omax Mall) ...still nothing happened. During this time your representatives keeps on calling regarding above.

          Vodafone — Non Delivery of Services & Fake Promises & Customer Service Disconnecting the line

          I have a complain against my mobile service provider VODAFONE. This service provider has been giving fake promises and charging me for undelivered itemized bills. I want to discuss the recent unsatisfied promise that the customer service has made. I was a victim of mobile robbery, so I called my service provider and asked for a new sim with the same number they took my request and promised to deliver it within the net 24 hrs, I kept repeatedly confirming with them the time frame for the sim to be delivered and I was assured that it would not take more than 24 hrs. The next day the sim was not delivered so I waited for another day giving it a chance but until evening the sim had not been delivered, so I again called the customer service when I crossed questioned the agent he without informing me and without answering my questions transferred me to the Pre- paid line and the lady I spoke to again did the same thing and transferred me without answering to any of my questions and telling me that my address is wrong without she could confirm that with me. The next person I spoke to said that it take 48 hrs for the sim to be delivered, so I told him that I was told several times that it takes only 24 hrs so he apologized and gave me a request #[protected], which really did not help me and the sim was stil not delivered after crossing the 48 hrs time frame. The next day I again called the customer service number and informed the Rep (SHIV KUMAR) that its more than 72 hrs I had requested the sim from vodafone and I have still not received me, he only kept putting me on hold with no new information I put all my complains in front of him, so he confirmed if I received the monthly bill on time, I said the only thing that I receive from Vodafone on time is the bill but only for one number and the other bill is still missing, I also told him I was charged for undelivered Itemized bill 2 times last year in March & April 2010. I also informed him about me requesting a new sim for my number with was again never delivered and this time is the same story and asked for a supervisor. He agreed and kept me on hold for about 20 minutes and disconnected the line. Does it really takes so long for the supervisor to come online and were my questions so difficult that the supervisor on duty that day (SUNDAY sept 18th, 20116.00 PM) had no answers. I would like that the vodafone quality of service be checked and verified as it really is not delivering good Customer Service at all. I am really disappointed with VODAFONE and I am looking forward to change my service provider soon.

          Respected Sir/Madam,

          I would like to draw your kind notice that your consumer care department (tel.no.[protected] is very irresponsible department and not taking care of consumer's complaints and requests. Since, I applied for new ndpl connection in september, 2011 in my wife name (Ms. Anju Rani) and your deparment took my request and given me request number and also told me that after few days a demand note will be generated and we will inform you through message (sms) about demand note and payment. After few days of making request, I have not received any message or call from your department regarding demand note and payment. I have gone through your NDPL website and find out that my demand note has already generated. I called up your customer care department immediately and informed your deparment that my demand notice already generated but you din't message me then your department told me that they have sent message. I told your department that if I do not call you then how can I know about my demand note? They did not answer my question? Without giving any information to the consumer, your department's officer comes at consumer home for verification and if he/she is available at home they cancel consumer request. What is this sir? Is this type of work of your customer care department?.

          Hence, recently I made a request to your deparment regarding fast running of meter (C.A. no.[protected]), the same words your department repeated that they will inform us through message but this time is also they did not message me and I called up your department so they told me that my demand note has already generated and you go to your regional office and deposte rs.50/-. I told your department that why you did not message to the customer about their demand note, they again told me that they will send message so I told them when will you send message? If I do not make a call to you, then i could not know about my demand notice. How could I know about my request status, demand note and payment details, they have no answer of my question.

          Sir, so many customer are facing these types of problem with your customer care department. They are not taking care of customer's problem. Your customer care department is very lazy and irresponsible. Therefore, I humbly request you please take necessay, strict and needful action on this matter as soon as possible and also inform me.

          My name is Nisha Bishwanath.
          I have two CUG connections -[protected] used by me and [protected] used by my husband Anand.
          Issue-Incorrect billing -On 26th of March, we both went to Avinashi road vodafone store to get a new duplicate sim as we lost our phone . The associate helped us with a duplicate sim, we made the payment for both our connections and we also asked for internet services for 2g-98rs plan, instead of putting us into a 98rs 2g plan the associate has put us into a normal plan without my knowledge and I got a bill of 4500rs . This a store level issue in which he has put us in a wrong plan, whereas he was clearly mentioned and told about the plan which we wanted, Because of his misunderstanding, we are suffering by not having network service which is ceased and we are billed incorrect. This is rediculous. We have sent so many hours over the phone where the customer service agent just placed our call on hold and never call us back or tried to resolve the issue . I must say most of the people dont understand English
          I would like to say that last eveningI was communicating with Balaji who is the store manager of Avinashi road vodafone store, who told that no services got activated from his store about the internet, but he has a details of our bill payment which was made at avinashi road store, why he doesnt have details about the internet service that his store associate activated for us ?Why did this misunderstanding happenend why did the associtae put us into a normal mode plan instead of 2g plan of 98rs, when all the plans where explained by him to us, why there is no documentation about the internet facility, there is no procedure followed by the store, no working standards . The store manager Balaji doesnt understand English, how do vodafone expect customers to communicate and if there is no documentation and no proof of this internet service by store level then by whose permission am I in a Internet normal mode and billed 4500rs from 26th march till date . Why should I pay for this
          Another issue - Yesterday I could find that in my number [protected] internet was activated, and I never applied for this connection, no service agreement nothing, by whose permission did this happen.
          I asked this question to Balaji the store manager of avinashi road and to t nagar store manager, who anwsered that madam the internet will get activated in your sim automatically, the other question I asked when I dint apply for this and its does without my permission, how will I come to know, these managers anwsered you will come to know when you will exceed your credit limit and then your services will get disconnected and you need to make the payment . This is nonsence and fraud that without the customers permission and, without my permission you are activating internet I am not aware of it and I willl be charged, no matter if I am not aware of it . If your managers are like this then how will be the associates.
          The same thing has happened with my husband, the associate did not do any documentation about the plan, no manaual documentation happened, no plan was applied by the associate which is not my problem because of which I need to suffer and when I asking for help from Balaji the store manager he is telling that no internet services get activated from his store . He is telling lies and then how come the internet of a normal mode got activated instead of 2g plan . How am I billed
          Please explain me The agents are worse and no body knows how to value customers and solve their problems . I will not come to know about the plan untill the associate tells me and I am a corparate customer since nov2007 having CUG connection then why will I go for a normal plan leaving 98rs plan

One day i call to customer care and want know about the postpaid number customer executive tell me when i convert my number prepaid to postpaid then i can talk free in any one vodafone number in life time that's why i convert my prepaid in postpaid number. After that they conform me what's the number those i want free to my number in life time and i tell them and he replies me after one day i can free take on that number but when my bill came i found in my bill there is extra amount when i call to customer care they replied me that i have no that kind of skim. you cheat me and your customer executive tell me lie.             MY son Kavneet Singh Kochhar is a Delhi Vodafone customer using number [protected]. I m using this numbernow a days. I had to go out of town to chandigarh as my father passed away. As i went there in emergency i did not pay the bill in delhi. But eventually 3 days before the last day I deposited cash to their vodafone store (Vodafone Essar south Ltd Plot No C131 Industrial Area Phase VIII MOhali 160071) This is an authorized collection agent in the name of The Learning Curve SCO 58-61 Madhya MArg Sec 8 Chandigarh Their Agency Code is CHD-TLC-2007 vide their receipt number 1616 dated 21-01-08 However Till date i.e. 16 March 08 the payment has not been updated and after repeated Calls I called up Customer Service once again in reference to the same issue where i happed to talk to Ms Anita sitting in their customer care center (toll free number 111) who says she is shift incharge although she was bloody rude in telling me that it was my mistake that i deposited my cash for the bill in chandigarh and it is none of their responsibilities to get the things updated in their records and customer is at fault in depositing cash anywhere else other then the city they live in. Before this i had sent a fax of receipt to them and also went to their recomended vodafone store at 12 Sant Nagar twice and getting a commitement that the payment will be updated within 72 hours at the max which has been all false all throughout . I fail to understand they why in this e-age i am told that the bill shd have been deposited only in delhi and not anywhere else within india this is a case of absolute harrassment to the customers. I look forward to get responses to get justice so that in future any customer is not harrased like this. Please let me know the way to tackle a company like this in the best possible manner.

            i fully agree, i am still using the no [protected] - vodafone do not update the payed bills - my bill amount 3135.00 .was paid on 15/09/2009 vide cheque no.971848, the payment was debited from my account on 16 th september 2009 . Till date i receive calls from them to pay the bill and repeated i have sent them e mails to different ID's so that it can be updated but no use . They can harrass to any extent . They have even left a voice recorded msg before each no . i dial that my amount is due . Also, in Nov 1 st the connection of my phone i.e. out going calls were barred . This is just rubbish . I am business women and they cant image the loss we have with there undisrupted calls to pay the bill . Kindly do something to teach them a lesson .
            I don't think there is such a problem with Vodafone.I do agree that this expertise service provider is really not the best of all as far as Customer Satisfaction is considered.Vodafone really is one of the best examples of today to act in an undesirable manner.

                  I have paid Rs.3000/- to vodafone against my mobile no. "[protected]" in December '2007, but Vodafone has updated only Rs.2000/-.

                  I always paid in excess and never my payment got late.
                  I paid through my HSBC Credit Card, on 14th , 24th , & 25th of December Rs.1000/- each. I have already paid the amount in full to HSBC before due date. But Vodafone hasn't updated this amount of short Rs.1000/-. I have already talked to their customer care so many times, but no updation received by them.

                  I have provided them even, authorization codes for all three transactions, but they still hasn't updated that even after 2.5 months.
                  Now they have discontinued my services and i am sufferring.

                  Requestion you to please look into the matter urgently.

                    this is bhupeder singh my vodafone no. is [protected]. i bought this no, few weeks back because i had lost my previous no. as i was alwasy using hutch so i did not want to try any other services. but this time i had a bad experience with the renowned company. on 11 march 2008 i received a message from vodafone saying { hello. your request for vodafone cel_bgm has been registered sucessfully} which i had never requested for.

                    again i recieved another message from vodafone again saying the bgm service has been activated on my phone, and rs 30 will be deducted on monthly basis.

                    why this service has been activated on my mobile when it has never been requested from my mobile. i need this service to be deactivated from my phone as soon as possible and i need a concerned person to appology on it.

                    Hi.. This is Prem Shankar Singh and my Vodafone No. [protected] . I had purchased the hansd set alongwith SIM from a Representative of Vodafone in year 2004 -05. That time it was known as Hutch. The same No.I am using since last 04- 05 Years. Last year my SIM was misplaced and in this regard i got a new SIM Card of the same No. Then it comes in my notice that it is in the name of some venkata lakshmi whom i dont know. So i submitted my all necessary documents to change the same in my name and to issue me a new SIM Card of same No. at their Customer Care Office at Visakhapatnam near Tycoon.
                    Again all of a sudden Today on 13 / 06 / 2009 my SIM is not working as the same is in my phone only. It is coming To INSERT SIM over the Phone Screen. So many times I placed the SIM Properly in MY HAND SET but failed. All Times the same massage is being displaced.

                    So I went to customer care and asked the reason. She is telling still it is in the name of V. Lakshmi and as your is old hence it is not working . You have to change the same by paying some Rs. 120 /= and it will take some four days time to activate the same in your name. I dont understand how and what services they giving us.

                        I had prepaid connection of Vodafone from last 5-6 months i applied to change this number from prepaid to postpaid in February last week on 27.02.2008 an executive from vodafone came and gave me my new post paid sim and told me that my prepaid number will be deactivated in 72 hours and my post paid number will start working during the same time period. Vodafone people deactivated my prepaid connection in the given period but they didn't activate my post paid connection. I spoke to them 3-4 times and clearly told them that i am working, i will be available only after 7:30p.m. They ensured me every time that my verification will be done tomorrow, day after tomorrow and so on. On 04.03.2008 one of their executive told me that it is not possible for them to do verification at 7:30p.m. I told them fine i am not well these day so that you can do it in the morning time also i was at home for about 4 days again no one came from their side. Again i called up and it i told the executive that i want my money back or i want to speak to your senior official that day i spoke to their senior executive Mr. Babloo. Mr. Babloo again ensured me that it will be done. Their executive came on 08.03.2008 and told me that my verification is over and now my connection will be activated in 24 hours. Today is 11.03.2008 my connection is still not working. I again spoke to their executive and she was saying that my verification is still pending and again she will forward request for verification. I am not able to speak to anybody since they have deactivated my prepaid connection. This is negligence on Vodafone's part. Please do the needful in the matter.

                        Vodafone — Inconvenience Regarding Post Paid Connection

                        I was using Vodafone prepaid connection for last 5-6 months. In February, I applied to change my prepaid connection into post paid connection. My SIM was delivered to me on 27.03.2008 and Vodafone executive told me that my prepaid connection will be deactivated after 72 hours and before that my post paid connection will also start. Vodafone people deactivated my prepaid number within the time limit but did not activate my postpaid connection. I called up at the Customer Care they said it will start after verification and as my house was locked at that time my request for verification will again be forwarded. I very clearly told that Executive that I am working and we will be available only after 7:30p.m. He than ensured me that our Executive for verification will come after 7:30p.m only and it will be done tomorrow or day after tomorrow. I again called up after one day, lady on the other side told me that my request is pending for verification and it will not be possible for the to get verification done after 7:30p.m. And told me that Mr. Amit Bhatia to whom I spoke earlier will speak to me after half an hour for further clarifications. Nobody called me. Again, I called them and specially told their executive that I am not well so I will be at home for next couple of days. Since, then I made aleast 10 calls to their Customer Care and even spoke to their Sr. Executive, Mr. Babloo regarding my bad experience with them after speaking to Mr. Babloo their Executive came on 08.03.2008 for verification and told me that my verification is ok and now my number will activate within 24 hours. Till today i.e. 11.03.2008 my number not working, I called up again today morning and the lady on the other side Ms. Bani told me that my verification is still pending due to lock. How it can be possible?????

                        I have 2 post paid connection in my name.
                        The probled i am facing is with mobile number [protected] i am not reciving any incomming SMS on my mobile for the past sevaral weeks.
                        I keep calling your support and initally they told i had locked it.
                        There is no option on my mobile to do so however i did set the mobile setting to default which did not help updated the firmware of the mobile.
                        Now Each time I call they say it is barred by user and collect my personal details for verification and say it will be relesed in 2 hours which never has happened i have made more than 6 calls on this regard
                        It is very annoying.
                        I will be happy if they provide me with a proper TAT when it will be fixed or let me know what to do.

                          my connection is a bangalore one..i came to chennai yesterday n am n ot able to make outgoing calls
                          It would be one of your most ridiculous grievances that I have expressed here. But please note it is crucial for keeping up a good customer service and I assume it would be a learning for your team too.

                          My problem (if I may call it that!) was that I needed to disconnect my Bangalore based connection on my return to Mumbai. Being a loyalist of Max Touch/Orange/Hutch & now Vodafone customer for 8 years, I came back to Mumbai and immediately acquired a new Mumbai based no. However hadn't cancelled the Bangalore one for business convenience, which I dutifully checked with a Vodafone care centre official, who gladly told me it can done even from Mumbai.



                          Now, on getting the new Vodafone no. at a centre in Mumbai, (which the team was most obliged to provide me with; and enthusiastically carried out the procedures quickly) and when I told them about the Bangalore no. it was ignored in all the bigger tasks .But when it had to be dealt with, they initially said they couldn't help, but seeing that I wouldn't budge, they provided me with the customer care no. in Bangalore.

                          Now coming to points which you must definitely note are;

                          The signal in a Vodafone care centre is POOR, I do not know if it is only in the case of outstation connections. But it is no excuse for a Vodafone centre!!

                          I go through to the Bangalore customer care no. But then guess what?

                          The voice recorded ad kept playing in English first, ( I waited patiently for them to give further instructions for me to follow)Then the ad plays in Kannada. And me being a part of the 85% population of the Non Kannada speaking Bangaloreans... I was lost as usual.

                          Now after the ad (I assumed) in Kannada, there was still no indication to go to the English or instructions.

                          On checking with the care centre execs, who had given me this no., they gave me another no. a SO CALLED easy way i.e. is to call 111 toll-free no.

                          I happily came home assuming the task could be done from home.

                          After calling and listening to the Bangalore voice recorded ads in Kannda for the millionth time, since I knew i could not penetrate this system anymore. I called up 111, the supposedly ALL INDIA HELPLINE!!

                          The exec picks up, I rattle my problem to him, which I am sure he hasn't heard completely, but has caught a word or two otherwise he wouldn't have given me the same Bangalore customer care no. which I did tell him a couple of times that I had, in my conversation with him.

                          Then he gives me the e mail ID for customer care, for which repeated again that I did get on checking the site however it would not give me a status on the cancellation

                          I kept probing him for an alternate customer care no.s as I repeatedly told him that I cannot travel back to Bangalore for cancelling my connection, which he kept suggesting.

                          Am I being a disregardful customer, all I had to do was take out the SIM card and throw it to mark the cancellation of my former phone no.?



                          Anyways our man, the customer care exec gives me a brilliant idea-he tells me to 'call up my FRIENDS in Bangalore and ask them to call up a customer care person in Bangalore and check.' I was stunned; I could hardly digest the logic he gave me.





                          Basically I assume he meant to get in touch with another customer care exec because he had no solution. But analyse his suggestion! Even if I were to do what he suggested which meant I call up someone in Bangalore (please note I too am calling from a Bangalore no., as if the hassle was because he assumed I was not calling from a local no !!)Then ask my friend to call up the customer care, which meant call up the same no. I had just called and was speaking to! And then ask them what procedure is!!

                          Hope you understand my sentiments when I slammed down the phone.



                          However I called back on the Bangalore customer care no. This time I prayed for sense and sensibility! I couldn't take in Kannada voice recorded ad anymore. I quickly pressed some random buttons, miraculously English instructions were being spoken, and I was glad .Now I could get through to some services. Finally I got through a customer care executive. Told him the 'problem'. He suggested the same, of coming in person to disconnect. But I explained the situation to him. And when he did not understand that meant me travelling from Mumbai to Bangalore to disconnect the line, which is ridiculous. I suggested to him (which I assume he is supposed to) to take down all the security details, which can then be sent to request for cancellation. He budged. He finally fell bait when I had to give a harsh dialogue, that 'if cancellation meant - me throwing of the SIM card off and getting a new one to get on with life as I don't understand why this procedure is so rigid complicated.' He finally processed the request and gave me procedure and a timeline for it.

                          I achieved victory.

                          Being a communication manager myself I have always faced difficulties in operations and knowledge management . With newer technology and specialised communication tools life isn't really getting easier. Technology and processes are redundant without human sensibilities and application.
                          I want to deactivate all incoming unnessesary things like offer from vodafone, caller tune, offer massages etc

                          My SIM No [protected] was in the Name of Teamtronix India Pvt (Comapany's Name) & the transferred on my Name, so with my all details with transfer letter frm my Office i submitted at Vodafone Shop at Coxtown-Wheelers Road on 25th April-2009-to Mr.Kiran, he told it will take 2 days to transfer & frm customer care they will call & let u know.

                          I have activated the 69 booster few months back
                          Now 69 Rs got detected from my balance and now my balance is in negative
                          There should be some message atleast that money is going to be detected but without any information all of sudden its getting detected,

                          I have vodafone prepaid acount and have a plan of 69 rs., as vodafone policy to activate this plan they are deducting 69 rs. monthly on 4th of every months without any prior notice or any information.
                          today on august when i saw my balance it was -67.45 rs. and i recharged the account again with 69 rs.
                          then after half an hour for 30 rs. but still my account is having balance in minus ie --42.25 rs.
                          Please solve this problem as soon as possible because this way i lost my 100 rs. it seems and credit my account balance with rs. 30, as i have recharge with 69 rs. after then 30 rs.

                          if you can't solve then i will not be the customer of VODAFONE.

The same day only i called customer care(111) and raised a complaint asking to revert back the money to my account. the customer care person promised me that it will be reverted back before 19th Aug, which is not done yet. the service registration number for this issue is [protected]. Please look into the matter ASAP and credit the money back in to my account as early as possible.

                          In some strange way vodafone has activated caller tune since last few months and I am unable to talk to the customer care department as the number 111 is always busy. Every month they are charging for an unwanted service.

                          i m preet from b'lore, i m using vodafone from past six years. from past few months i m recharging rs 22 for v2v night calling tariff. last time also i recharged rs 22 on 3rd of sept. but from next day onwards it started deducting my ballance between 11 to 7 also.i spoke to customer care and they told within 72 hours my problem wil get solved and i will get back my deducted ballance also.but still now no response.and one more thing they agai deducted rs22 from my account on 17th of sept. i m just fed up with vodafone now. from last one month im tryin to talk to customer care executive but when i dialled 111 then it says for other assitance press 9. but when i press 9 it goes to main menu again. pls try to solve my problem asap.

                            This is Rajesh, an ICICI bank Platinum Credit card customer. I have a dispute in the Vodafone bill dated 25/02/2008, Bill No: [protected] the billing amount being Rs. 3925.00.

                            I have subscribed to an STD pack for which I have been billed Rs99, But the benefits (1 Re STD) have NOT been passed on to me.

                            That means Vodafone have EXCESS CHARGED me Rs 1911, Apart from that Vodafone have taken Rs1000 security deposit from my side.

                            Unhappy with the network service and uneven billing I have decided to disconnect my Vodafone Services.

                            I was horrified to know that Vodafone have not returned their post paid customers their due for several months (ref: http://www.consumercomplaints.in/) I

                            Would like to dispute this Credit card transaction which took place to Vodafone.

                            This has reference to the bill issued for the cycle 7.11.2008 to 06.12.2008, I have been charged Rs. 99 for game downoad on 14.11.2008
                            and regarding this when i called up on 111 dated 15.12.[protected]Hrs), the executives tells me to de activate GPRS so as to avoid such charges, this reply given to me shows how you'll are handling complaints related to discrepancy in billing and when probed further I told him what if im charged for 2-3 games in next bill he is giving me same reply to DE ACTIVATE GPRS, my query still remains unanswered that how i am charged for this amount as when I haven't surfed any games portal(even cross checked in Log) & what is the same repeats in future.
                            Vodafone has charged me for Rs. 99 but when asked to give details of the site surfed they are not providing the same, im deeply hurt by the way the treat customers.
                            Iam a user of Vodafone service (formerly Orange) since Jan 2005 and not a defaulter for any of the bills I hope my complaint is treated with high importance and resolved at earliest.

                            we have disconnected the phone on december 2010. Till now they have not refunded the deposit and also they have took excess payment Rs. 350/- through autodebit account. I have complained 10 to 15 times. there is no response.

                              I need your urgent attention on this matter as stated below with regard to my cell no [protected]. Me and my family and my relatives are being HARASSED & ABUSED by a VODAFONE person. This has made our lives miserable and we are scared at the sound of the phone ringing.
                              Despite my making the payment to VODAFONE and having all the intention to pay. The mails attached below would explain the case in detail written to VODAFONE since JUNE 2007.

                              This is the second time this is happening and as i am in Dubai currently, it is difficult for me to reoslve the matter and have no contact of someone who can help me at VODAFONE.

                              The person has been calling us from the no [protected] and is calling himself AMAN since 26 Feb and as much i can guess, someone from VODAFONE has given him my BILL STATEMENT from which he is using the numbers of my relatives to call and THREATEN. This is SERIOUS BREACH OF MY PRIVACY and would like an answer from VODAFONE immediately.

                              Earlier, similar calls were made on 29 Oct 2007 to us, when the person impersonated himself as a DELHI POLICE OFFICER from the no[protected] and called himself Sub Inspector Pal singh Rathi from CP Police station, Delhi and asked me to speak to advocate S K DOGRA [protected] as there was a NON BAILABLE WARRANT against me from HUTCH and that my visa would be cancelled and i would be in jail for 15 days. He spolit my festival of Karvachauth and unnecessary troubled my parents, me as well as my inlaws and my relatives.
                              This is a serious matter and attached below are the communications with VODAFONE from my side but NOBODY SEEMS TO BE LISTENING TO ME.

He says i am a FRAUDSTER and have ran away with 20 lacs of money of the co and my visa for UAE is being cancelled as currently i am in Dubai. He is using abusive langauage and is using false identities sometimes as a courier boy and sometimes as my friend.
                              I cannot explain the MENTAL & EMOTIONAL TORTURE we are going thru despite paying to VODAFONE.
                              Attached below is a mail which will give a backgorund of my case in brief and the same mail has been sent to VODAFONE but unfortunatley they are not bothered.

                              In the meantime, i visited india in NOV 2007 and visited the VODAFONE OFFICE IN GURGAON and also paid RS 11000 and told them will pay the rest later once i have a reply from VODAFONE about such harassing calls and false alligations on me. The staff there was of no help and could not help me in anyway despite my wasting half a day and reaching nowhere.

                              But since then there has been no reply from VODAFONE and it is very difficult for me to follow from UAE as it costs a lot of money making ISD calls and the CUSTOMER CARE makes you hold for ages.
                              And again for the last two days we are getting these calls from the VODAFONE CO and i dont understand how they have access to the no of all my relatives. I guess they have sourced it from my previosd HUTCH bills, which is a BREACH OF MY PRIVACY making my private nos public and someone in VODAFONE IS LEAKING INFORMATION.

                              Need your help in making VODAFONE realise that it is BECOMING AN ANTI FAMILY ORGANIZATION and is talking to everybody else besides me for the issue in a WRONG MANNER.

                              I wanted to retain the no but now i want to start a HATE VODAFONE CAMPAIGN. And, i want Vodafone to compensate me for all the harassment and ISD calls and defamation of my stature.

                              However, despite my best efforts none of HTEL’s Customer Care executives were able to help me out at that time. My cellphone has since been deactivated and I am unable to even view my statements online, as I cannot access my cellphone on the password and user ID has been sent.



                              Subsequently I have been contacted by a female following up for my pending amounts which I have expressed my desire to settle the outstanding dues provided I am assured that the payment is being received by HUTCH/VODAFONE. However, I have not recieved get any satisfactory reply either orally or in writing. Hence I was left with no option but to suggest her that during my next India visit I would settle my Outstanding dues and retain my number.



                              However, to my utter surprise today morning, 29 Oct 2007 I have got a call from a gentlemen who introduced himself as SUB INSPECTOR PAL SINGH RATHI from the Delhi Police Parliament street station (tel no.[protected] informing me about a NON BAILABLE WARRANT being issued against me and the case has been filed by HTEL/VODAFONE. The gentlemen also referred me to a lawyer by the name Mr. S K DOGRA (Contact no [protected]). He informed me that a cheque issue by me paid to Hutch has been dishonored in NOV 2006 and I will have to face dire consequences including 15 day jail term and cancellation of my visa. These gentlemen have been making such HARRASSING CALLS to my parents and my in-laws as well who are not in Delhi and are quiet afraid of such intimidating, abusive and threatening calls.



                              As I had serious doubt about the facts mentioned by these gentlemen, I chose to call upon on the HUTCH CUSTOMER CARE NO ([protected]) to verify the facts and spoke to Ms. TABASSUM ( floor supervisor) and she has confirmed to me that there is no such action has been initiated by HTEL. My credit history for the past 7 years speaks volume about my intentions to pay. This default may at be described a technical default as I am unable to settle my dues because of my physical absence.

                              I would appreciate if you could clarify my above-mentioned concerns and ENSURE THAT I OR MY PARENTS OR IN LAWS DO NOT RECEIVE SUCH INTIMIDATING CALLS AGAIN (if the gentlemen have been appointed by HTEL). Failing which I would be forced to initiate Police Complaint against such harassment.

                              ON 29 OCT THE RECOVERY AGENT POSED AS A DELHI POLICE OFFICER AND SAID THERE WAS A NON BAILABLE WARRANT AGAINST ME.
                              I WENT TO INDIA IN NOV 2007 AND PAID RS 11000 AND VISITED HUTCH GURGAON OFFICE

                              MENTAL & TORTURE BY VODAFONE RECOVERY AGENTS. THEY ARE HARASSING MY PARENTS AND MY RELATIVES MAKING THREATENING CALLS TO THEM AND USING ABUSIVE LANGUAGE.

                              SAID THERE WAS A NON BAILABLE WARRANT AGAINST ME.
                              as i am employee of reputed organization vodafone guy calling at my every ulternate no.where ever i made calls they harrasing to everyone they just damaged my image.after 6 month they are telling i have not made payment.how could i remember 6 month old pending bills and details once i have cleared they should have approach me at me office and home for any clearification..they did not..why after so long these harrasing calls??please help me ..

                              I was working in Delhi NCR reigon and I was using Vodafone Post paid sim card..
                              I went on serious trouble and I quit the job and Moved to UAE.As I was not having enough time to pay my bill I have handed over my money in permanent address and departed India. But today I have recieved a call from Police station, Gurgaon (mob No: [protected]) stating a Non Bailable Warrant has been issued against me. If a police person can call my permenant address why not Vodafone people..? he further added that 2 times court have issued summon. As I have given My office address as temprary address and I have been totally relieved from the Company (L&T) on 27 Nov 08 company haven't forwared anything to my permenant address. I don't know how am I resposible for not recieving the summon in my temperary address.

                                Vodafone cheated me by sending a service msg regarding activating cricket alerts and then activating it without my consent. Once activated,the monthly rental gets deducted even if you deactivate it later.
                                Why the hell are they activating unnecessary alerts w/o customer's approval?

                                  I did top my pre-paid Hutch during Sept. 2007 for fairly big amount (Rs. 2000 +). From Sept. onwards till March 05, 2008, Hutch - Vodofone is deducting around Rs.30.00 every month (5th of every month). When the deduction happened on March 05, I noticed a big change from Rs.80+ balance to Rs. 50+ balance and immediately called the [protected] and enquired. The person on the other end said that I had opted (I never did anything stupid like that) for some tune to be heard by someone who calls me (not even myself). This is also called the height of ridiculous business tactics or even call it a BRIGHT DAY LIGHT ROBBERY. It was so bright that I did not notice it for a while. In total till March 05, 2008, I have lost more than Rs. 210.00 without my knowledge. What should I do next? I did ask the person to cancel that ridiculous feature and that process costed me another Rs.3.0.

                                    hi i`m a vodafone prepaid subscriber from chandigarh and i`m fed up with this company but i am forced to continue with this connection because i cant change my number!!!
                                    i activated COMBO PACK on my number on 03/03/2008 (monday) at 03:01 PM..and i recieve a revert message that says "combo pack has been activated on your vodafone number now enjoy 1000 local SMS ang v2v call @30p/[protected]@65p/[protected]@1.10p per minute at a weekly rental of Rs. 12"
                                    and last nite i checked my balance smses by sending SMSBAL to 55222 i got a reply that says "hi! you have used 384 messages of your SMS pack. balance SMS : 616"
                                    and today morning i.e on 07/03/2008 (friday) i sent a message to my entire friend list and balance of 31 rupees was deducted from my account when i called up the customer care they told me that my COMBO pack has been deactivated because i`ve used all my free messages available in combo pack and these messages have been reduced to 100 from 1000 per week in combo pack..
                                    but i was never informed about this !!!
                                    and i was not even informed that my combo pack has been deactivated..i want refund of my balance but the executives say they can`t help because its all my fault and messages have been reduced to 100 from 1000...and they kept on repeating this for as long as i was on the call..
                                    these people are cheats and frauds....and i am very very irritated with this !!!
                                    is there anyone who can help me out on this...or with whom i can file a complaint regarding this...

                                    I'm facing problem since from 15 days and i complined many time but still my problem not solved.

                                    Problem: I requested for 12 Rs plan activation but they transfered to 64 lifetime plan,

An automated voice announced that a free caller tune service will be issued to my number for one month. Now there is no caller tune set for my phone, and a balance of Rs.30 has been debited from the account. I called several times to clarify this issue with the customer service, but, the moment they try to transfer me to the supervisor, the line got disconnected. I am anyways being charged for these calls that I have made to you, and you have not being able to assist me with my query even once. I hope that you will take up the matter seriously and solve it. I would like a refund on my Balance please.

                                      This complain is regarding my simcard (my cell no [protected] )which is blocked as i changed my number from prepaid card to postpaid.......this was done by some agency at malad mr serivices .........they took all the documents and the money from my residence and now as the sim is blocked i am trying to contact them they are telling me to collect it from the office..........

                                      when they come to collect the documents and the money , is it not advisable to send the sim card also same in the same manner
