I have a very bad experiance with Vodafone. they are useless and having no respect for customers time and money.

Last five months I have not ben served my bill statement. every month their girls calls on mobile threatening to stop the services unless the amount they state are paid. I kept on paying to avoid disconnection.

Still today I ahave not got bill statement. Unless I have bill statement my company doesn't pay me my bill. thus i have not been paid my mobile bill by my company because vodafone didnot give me bill statement and receipt of the bills.

I expect at least today they will give me the bill and receipts. My mobile no is [protected]

    I am Sanjay Nehru from Lucknow. This is my third instance of getting problem after the taking over of Hutch from Vodaphone.
    In the month of November 11th of 12th I had got my phone recharged with a top of Rs.200/- for which I got an maount of Rs.99/- On making a call on 13th at [protected] I spoke to Mr.Ravindr Kumar at 8.00 PM who replied me that nothing is in his control and the problem would be rectified from the Vodaphone office at Shahnajaf Road. On my visit to vodaphone office I was replied that I had downloaded a pack of HUNGAMA thorugh GPRS for which Rs.100/- were deducted. I asked them that how it was down loaded when my GPRS is not working and when the required balance was not in my account. They replied me by saying that we would forward your complaint for this. Again I requested them to let me meet some higher official, but the young lady replied I am the person who is heading this branch.

    Again on 15th December I had made a call on vodaphone no. at 11.37 for 26 sec. and the balance after the call was Rs. 12.39 but suddenly after few minutes I received a repeat service reply that my balance after last call is Rs.6.43.
    Now GOD knows that where and how an amount of Rs.5.96 has gone?
    Who is going to pay for all this mischief ? Should I surrender the number and switchover to another service provider?

    Vodafone — UNFAIR AMOUNT

    Hi Team,

    There is a vodafone number [protected] which has been surrendered and utstanding of 1600 at the esnd was paid completely.Still i am getting calls to pay the bill.is this the service that i get, You vda store at Rajiv Chowk says that they have lost the form .
    I am not liable for any bill and there is no usage .Please check and get me rid of all this urgently

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I had put ab 2G internet pack on my number and after which i got confirmation from the vodafone that your pack is activated and the balance available. After which within an hour they have deducted an amount of Rs.65 from my account. For the same when i contacted customer care their 1st reply was it was cause i have done some chargeble download from the internet which is untrue ans when i argued on that they told its cause i have downloaded within 4 hours f activating the internet pack.
    Vodafone people need to answer where they have mentioned anywhere that the pack gets 4 hours to get activate. If its there it should inform the customer immidiatly after customer put this pack. If they dont then they are wrong on their side and they must refund customer all the money they deducted on this false ground.

      I bought a new vodafone prepaid connection for rs.295 with the schemes that i would be getting 3 months validty, 1500 local sms free, 300 min vodafone to vodafone free, n 25rs talktime n 5 family n friends no. On which i can make calls at half rate... N the expiry date of the connection was 28 june 2008 that means i could have got that connection activated by that date...
      But when i got my connection activated from vodafone store at nirman vihar on 10 dec i was shocked to see that i only got 2rs as talktime instead of 25rs n only 1 day validity instead of 3 months & there were no other schemes which i mentioned above.
      N when i contacted the customer care i was told that the schemes have been withdrawn & now u will not get any of these schemes.
      I want to ask that is it right on the part of the company to not give the schemes for which the customer has bought the connection???
      N how can they say that only the connections activated before 3 dec have got these schemes!!!

      This is really unfair because for a customer like me that connection is of no use now & my hard earned money has been wasted just because of this ridiculous plicy of the company!!

      I am consumer of Essar after that Hutch and now Vodafone since 2001. But after coming vodafone instead of Hutch I am totally confused that what is the solution of this no.. Because I had given this no to all of my nears and dears all over world they use to call me on this no. I think that TRAI have to take decision early that "WE CAN CHANGE SERVICE PROVIDER RATHER THAN THE NO" The services of Vodafone is pathetic. Whenever I make a call to customer care than its takes around 1 to 2 hrs. to connect. After that it will be your good luck that you will not be dissconnected automatically. When I contacted to the senior officials of the customer care regarding this they replied that there are a lot of consumers in que. I don't know that It is my/consumer's problem that they have a lot of consumers in the que. If I don't have time 2 hrs than it means I can't talk to customer care regarding my problem. If they can't give the satisfactory services to their consumers they have to close their shop. There are a lot of service providers in this industry who are giving the best services. I will suggest that TRAI have to give a clear ultimate to these companies that if they will not satisfy to their customers, they have to close their shops. I think the Vodafone only wants to make the money from India and not more than that. Vodafone is making mistake to compare us before freedom time.

      I would like to bring to your attention the problem I am e facing because of ridiculous service of Vodafone. My Number [protected](prepaid) and I got message on 16 & 17 & 20 & 21/02/08 from Vodafone “100% Talk time!! Recharge karein Rs777 ya Rs300 ke recharge se aur paayein 100% talktime, Limited Period offer”. …. Sender Vodafone. I recharge my number with Rs 300 on 20/02/08 which transaction id DL[protected]. But My number was recharged with Rs. 267 and when I called up customer care number 111 on 20/02/08 and talked with female Customer care, She told me that the balance money would be transferred to my number within 24 hrs . unfortunately I did not get balance talktime on my number and when I dialed again toll free number 111 on 21/02/08 and spoke with care executive sharad who disconnected the call when I asked him to transfer his call to his team leader and again spoke with ashwani (under team leader Amit Bhandari team). They told that my number [protected] is not eligible for this kind of scheme.

      Now could you explain why I am getting this messages and why you are making fool to customer by sending wrong message. As I have recharged with Rs 300 as I have got message which I have not deleted so far,

      what u people are doing there? u r doing customer care or simply doing fraud? i phoned thru customer care more than 10 times, but till my problem didnt solve, i[censored]r activities and service is not linear, u cant satisfy ur customers, ur customer care officers also simply balance and try to cheat others. then hw the customer will manage with ur vodafon simcards? i need proper answer from u, otherwise i will take further step regarding ur irregularities, and misbehavior.
      also most of our student communities of iit delhi are refusing ur customer care, we people are talking day by day about ur irresponsibilities. also the day that they will change from ur simcards to other simcard is not so distance, they are trying to change their simcards and we are talking to our other friends to change the vodafone simcards.

      this is my problem,
      today(05/03/1980, wednesday, at 3.00pm) i recharged rs.222 with the voucher of rs.75(for reduced rate of std and local at rs.1). my problem is till i didnt get the activation of 75 rs voucher. when i talked with ur customer (don't)care officers, they told it will come after 15 mins, after 4 hourrs, again u hav to wait for 3 hours, and finally they told u hav to wait one more day. this is the high tech growth o[censored]r essential customer services, ur higher authorities and senior oficers hav to congratulate ur respected(!!!!!!!!!?????) customer care officers. u can give better prefrerence for ur customer care officer's improvement that those who hav irresponsibilities, misbehaviour, it will use for ur company growth also(??????????)

      I have vodafone prepaid connection, I bought another prepaid connection from vodafone to my mother so that we can get connected through family and friends. The call is getting cut automatically after I give the confirmation. This is very bad and still i am spending more amount. For this I could have bought some other connection and have enjoyed the same family and friends option. More worry I am not sure what needs to be done for this. Anybody aware of how to resolve this issue.

      Just fifteen minute ago i foned to nepal to with family. I was very gareful for time consumption. I talked just two minutes and not one second more but my prepaid money was cut for three minutes. I surprised that why Vodafone has made such type of luting police. vodafone is looting cunsumers day by day by doing such type of activities. I have another experience with Vodafone. Last month I bought a world calling card. I recharge it as mentioned in the card but never could talk with friends who are living abord. What happened with this card, you know when I dailed any international number the ring tone had gone but reply was without voice (no voice no talk). I searched local vodafone customer care centre and went there but that fellow whowas say working there did nothing. I became very frusted and return back. These are the some examples of pre-plained luting police of Vodafone. The question you may do "Why you are using Vodafone? The answer is I have paid money for one year validity. If I through the sim of Vodafone I will loss that money also.

      yes i can say that fodafone is the worse service provider, infact they cheat the customer a lots!when you call up the customer care service it take more than 3hrs to connect and on top as soon as they received the complain they will put you on hold and disconnect the line, cces are very rude, here why iam saying that vodafone is cheating, whenever i make enquiery regarding how much they charge international sms, they said that rs-5/-per sms but most of the time they take rs-7-8 per sms!now iam just waiting for my validity period to be finished to use another service :-)

      The main problems is that i cant received any call during my office hours, coz i am in a basement, there is no networking or i cant have any networking..could you please retified my problems..or is it ur services becoming weak or poor..

      We have postpaid connection. [protected]. i am using this numberfrom past so long. But last month vodafone changed my plan from 333 to 280 monthly rent. i come to know after my bill recieved. In my 333 plan i had 150 calls free of cost but in my new plan nothing is free and other charges also.

      Vodafone — Sold a scheme that didnt exist...

      Hi,

      I was a Vodafone prepaid user, I was approached by vodafone officers on phone and forced to change from Pre-Paid to Post-Paid. I was lured by the offer specified below.
      I agreed to change only because I was given 600min of free talk to any no. and 30ps per sms.

      But on activation, I was surprised to see that the talk plan says some other plan and on checking the details on the myvodafone site, it says "system error"

      On calling, I was horrified to know that the plan that was sold to me didnt exist, and I was suggested some other plan which didnt make any sense in me moving to Post Paid.

      Now Vodafone says they can't revert my no. back to prepaid, nor can they activate the offer that they sold to me.

      Please help.

      Offer i was given under the corporate plan...
      Rs 249 monthly + Rs 99 for free sms's
      First 600 min to any no. is free.
      First 200 sms is free after which its 30ps per sms
      For Rs99 I get Rs 300 worth sms, which is 1000 sms free.
      This I was told was some corp249 plan.

My registration No. is [protected]. Mr. Neeraj Sharma told me to activate this plan from 12/05/08 midnight. But this plan is not actvated till now. I m getting high charges from my old plan.       I bought post paid connection in Delhi last month & to activate roaming from out of delhi, I called help line-[protected] & after so many attempt I was able to speak to their executive, who has given me complaine number [protected] on 16th may, till date there is no response.I E-mail to their customer care & all I got is automatic generated mail & then no response.Tried to call thier nodel officer at [protected] & all the time its in switch off mode.Then I called [protected], no response. Called their mumbai office[protected] & requested them to give me their delhi office number & they have give[protected] on contacting them, they say we only look UP(W) & they dont know delhi office number, even mumbai office dont have the delhi office number.Its worthless service by them. And its reminds me of the advertisement in all TV channels all the time & now I understood who is they symbolise " PUG" its the customer.

      I am a postpaid vodafone customer of 444 plan for more than one year. I lost my SIM card and get a new SIM card of the same no.([protected]) from Noida (Atta market, sector 18) office on May 14. They told that my SIM card will get activated in 2-4 hours. They charged Rs. 99 for new SIM card. Today is May 22 and my SIM card is not activated. Every time I call to vodafone customer care, they say your request is in process and your SIM card will get activated in 2 hours. I don't know when this 2 hours will be completed.

      At last I decided to dump the SIM card and got a new connection from other service provider. However I don't want to change my contact no.
      Vodafone is making fool to people. Let take this example -

      Vodafone has made all STD calls @ Rs. 1.30 per minute without any tariff but the user have to send an sms STD to 56565 otherwise they will charge Rs. 2.65
      And they are advertising for LOCAL and STD both @ Rs. 1 (with Rs. 31 per month rental) what the [censored] is this. without tariff the call rates are Local @ Rs. 1 and STD @ Rs. 1.30 per minute. They are not advertising this.

      Well I am using Tata Postpaid connection from the Last 3 years and pleased to say that the service is very good.

      Yesterday i called in customer care name sudhir and he told me that he will inform me within 2 hours but after 15 hours they didnot give any response yet.

      I had a vodafone connection in Delhi, few months back i moved to Mumbai and started paying the bills for that no. ([protected]) in Mumbai at Peninsula Tower, Lower Parel office through debit card then i realised that i am being billed for that amount which i have already paid in Mumbai.
      Idont understand if they have such disconnect between Mumbai Delhi in terms of payment and their software they should't have accepted the payment.

      Vodafone/Hutch Lifetime connection — No Hutch Care officer is attending my Call

      I have a lifetime connection with Hutch/Vodafone. Presently I am staying at Delhi and I am using Hutch/Vodafore connection last three year. Recently I have to move Kolkata permanently. I would like to transfer my connection to kolkata. How to do it, to know that I had tried many time to talk with hutch care officier at [protected] . After putting a lots of impute I have to listen 30 minute extended music . Their is no so call hutch care official .
      I purchased a new Vodafone prepaid connection on 6th November 2008 from a Vodafone store located at Shahpur Jat, New Delhi. I used the Vodafone network for 8 days, then got a SMSs mentioning that my incoming and outgoing will be suspended due to non receipt of my document. I already submitted my document at the time of purchasing the SIM card but I did not receive any verification call from the Vodafone network and thus my connection has been terminated. I contacted the Vodafone store a numerous times and they kept assuring me that my vodafone no. will work again in a few period of time. Still my phone is not working and this is a complete harassment.
      I have been using a hutch/vodafone connection for the past 4 years.
      Things were smooth till it was hutch, i have faced many problems after vodafone came into the picture.
      I have a post paid connection.
      Recently my mom (also a vodafone user for the past 4 years) had her outgoing facility blocked coz her unbilled usage had exceeded the credit limit, we asked them how much is it and we were shocked to know the amount...it is 18000 rs.!!!
      That too for just 14 days (2 nov - 16 nov).!!
      So we thought there must be some mistake and gave an application to deactivate the number since we cant get any details till the month gets over (2 dec).
      I got curious and checked MY unbilled usage for the same period today and got the shock of my life...they are sayin that its rs 29000.!!!
      I asked them to check there records, our bills have ALWAYS been in the range of 2-3k so this is just not possible.!
      Got the same reply again that they cannot do anything till i get my bill on 3rd dec.
      We are gonna change over to some other service provider FOR SURE but we want to know who is responsible for this and if vodafone wants we take take this to the court.

      Today I called Hutchcare and the experience is worst. When I asked what was the name of the Hutch Care person, whom I am speaking to, he says that his name is 'what'. I thought that he was asking me 'what?' and I asked him again a few times. He repeated the same thing again and again. Then only I realized that he was making fun of me. I asked him whether he was making fubn of me. He laughed 'big'. Then only I realized that he was deliberately doing this. I called again and with great difficulties, I could speak t ohis supervisor. He never seemed to realize the impact and his answers were very vague. I intend changing my entire office service provider now.

      This is not the first time that I am facing the horrible service issues with Hutch Care.

      Essar Vodafone Customer Care service levels have come down even after the transition from Hutch. I would say bad to “A little more bad”. The service provides have been putting in their best effort by telling "Happy to Help You" rather than making their customers feel “How good they are to help.

      The standard verbiage remains “We will get back to you within 72 hrs”. If they do get back you are Oye Lucky. If no you may need a lot of patience – Reason Interaction Notes on CRM are either not complete or appropriate in many cases. If you make it a point to remind them to enter the appropriate notes, you may find a way to your problem soon.

      Recently I called Vodafone customer service in Delhi to reconfirm if my Voice Mail Service has been deactivated or not which was requested and confirmed by Mumbai customer care. I was surprised to find it was still active.

      When I requested them to deactivate the same in Delhi, Delhi customer Care told me of their limited access to my account as I was in roaming, they will not be in a position to assist me and I will have to call Mumbai Customer Care, which is a charged call if you are in roaming. However I ensured that the executive puts in all relevant points in his interaction notes to avoid time and money.

      I did wonder how a service provider can speak different language and also have a different system that may not synchronise with Mumbai CRM. But many things are possible especially when one is going through recession.

      I had no choice but to call Mumbai Customer Care as directed over a charged call.

      I was patient enough to hold the line for 25 minutes till the he Supervisor comes on line, promptly apologising for the delay. To avoid any further charges on the call, I asked the executive to check the last interaction notes and he happily said yes I have put in a complaint regarding GPRS. Though surprised, I felt it was wise to put in a request once again and tell him to ensure that the service order is goes through immediately and my voice mail services is deactivated immediately.

      The job profile of Vodafone Brand Ambassador (the cute little Pug – Spike) has changed from Network Services to Customer Car. So has the Position been assigned to Spike from his father Figaro who used to look after their network services. There could be a possibility if the Work Profile of the Vodafone Dog changes to Quality or collection due to recession soon.

      I am sure all the Nodal Officers and Appellate Authorities, Supervisors. Team Leaders and Floor managers, need to brush up their training once again as in many a times information given by them could be more misleading than the executives.

      A customer however has limited choice but to wait till MNP (Mobile Number Portability) is implemented if he wants to retain his same identity of No. and wants the flexibility to go to another service provider.

      I took a vodaphone post paid connection from a mini store, new friends colony. I was told that initially the number will work as prepaid but after verification within 72 hrs the same will be convert into postpaid connection. I has 222 scheme. But it is going to be a week and verification has also been done on call and visiting my residence. The person also called and told me that everything is ok and your number is active now as post paid. But when I insert my sim into the handset, it shows unregistered sim. I am also unable to reach to the mini store or customer care executive. I am in trouble as I have no number for communication.
      I am worried about this vodaphone hail service what they care about thier customer. Can anybody will let me know any mobile or landline number through which I can contact vodaphone regarding my problem. I have already paid security amount and other charges while purchaging the connection so can not also go for another service provider.

      I had taken a new connection of vodefone in Delhi on 27.07.209 from Vikas puri and I gave the dealer my driving license and employer's letterhead declaring my address at vikaspuri. the new number i.e. [protected] was activated on the same day. but due to non submission of my documents by the dealer to Vodafone my caller ID was deactivated on 02.08.2009, outgoing facility was barred on 03.08.2009 and finally my incomming is barred on today i.e. on 06.08.2009. on sunday date 03.08.2009, I had again given a copy of my PAN Card and Photograph to the dealer. but till now the solution to my problem is still awaited.       I would like to bring to your attention the problem I am facing because of ridiculous service of Vodafone. My Number is [protected] and yr regular customer from last 3 years. I have not activated any value added service( love struck alret) this service is activated since 10 July 09 . When i came to know that service is activated and my 30 rupees deducted from my a/c i contacted your customer care centre to deactivate the service mentioned above immedietely to avoid any further deduction. They assured me that we will positively deactivate this service.i satisfied, but by next month i.e 12th aug 2009 a received a sms that 30 Rs. has been deducted from yr account for yr monthly love struck alert.i shocked to recieve this and immediately i called ccs to deactivate and my 30 rs should be refunded.till my service is active and if my complaint will be not considered seriously i will definitely report to consumer forum.so please deactivate the service mentioned above and rs 30 may kind be refunded.This is my humble request to you plz take a action and resolve my problem.

      Airtel — Before validity number withdrawn by the company

      Dear sir,
      I am using a number [protected] before many years in Varanasi.I am working now in North East Zone before one year, where pripaid roaming is not avilable so I am using this number as each after six months.I am use this number at last time in Nov-2008, after this in May-2009 I know that my sim card may be last so I was complete all legal formality about to issue to new sim of my number, but your outlet was unable to issue to sim because he have no sim in stack.I am try may time in may 2009. In July 2009 I was send my father to your outlet then your staff define that this number may withdrawn by company.This number was issued as a life time pripaid with valid on Dec - 2024.How is it possible to withdrawn my number before validity by company.Kindly take the necessary action about my problem & informe me how to found my number as early. Please do the needfull.

      there is some unwanted service activated on my mobile which keeps on deducting 3 rs every day unnecessary.
      I called three times..

      1st time a women gave me wrong code to MSG on 144, which do not worked.
      2nd time a man gave me another wrong code to message on 144 which also not worked.
      3rd time, i asked the person to deactivate the service himself. He said it will be deactivated in 24 hrs. I received a message also saying that the service will be deactivated. This is third day from then and the service is still not deactivated and, still 3rs are getting deducted from my balance every day.

      Now when i am trying to call to customer care using number 111, it is again and again directing me to unwanted options and even after selecting 119, its is returning to main menu and not directing to any customer care executive to talk to. I tried yesterday evening and today morning also.

      This is clearly a trick to keep on deducting money from the balance.

      Please act on this ASAP

      I am highly troubled by your team. I thought i am a good consumer for you on behalf of my heavy bills and regular payments which you can also of course check and see.
      But in my last days in India, I had visited your contact points twice, once in gurgaon and once in kurukshetra to pay off my pending bills and close down the number or convert it to some prepaid account, but your team there never supported me. They only asked me for a resident proof that I never had but you can see the loyalty of the consumer by his usage and payment history but sad to say, none was given any weightage even on my own visit to your stores.
      Now i have left India and probably for an indefinite period of time that can range from 1-5 years span.
      What I would still like to do is that:
      1. send me my pending bills online so that I can check them and make a payment.
      2. payment would be made without any late fee charges or interest or fines.
      3. letter of confirmation that the account is finally settled and no dues are pending henceforth with this account.
      4. and that this number would be converted to a pre paid connection in my name which I would be able to use whenever i return to Delhi.

      I donot want to end up this long relationship with vodafone with a bad note and seek your support to clear the matter off.

      Vodafone — not activating the plan after did recharge

      hi good afternoon sir.
      my name is khursheed a matte from belgaum.
      i got ditched by cellular sarvice provider vodafone karnataka.
      i recharged on 08/11/2010 of rupees 699.
      but till now i am not able to get benifit of that plan
      i spoked with customer care executives many times and got the complaint no also.

      Vodafone — Scam on collecting 50 paisa

      I have been having Internet connection issues on my Vodafone mobile for last two days. This morning I called 198 since that is what the website says to call for complaints. Doing that the customer service rep tells me to call 111. Calling 111 they charge you 50 paisa and when you ask them why they are charging 50 paisa they tell you to call 198.
      It is not about 50 paisa but it is more of Vodafone practices that seems like a big scam.
      Is there anyone else that feel like this is happening. Please voice your opinion.

        with regsrds i want to say that i am not satisfied with Vodafone connection which i have, which i am using No [protected].

        1/Changed of caller tune without permission (complaint no.[protected]th of dec 2007)
        2/unlimitted useless calls from VODAFONE
        3/unlimitted useless messages from VODFONE
        4/recharged STD pack of 79 but coldnt get the benefit, STD calls are still @RS 2.60. (My new complaint).

        there is no code or means by which you can find out validity of your bonus card except customer care which is always busy or suffers 4m poor connectivity .         Caller Tunes Activated without request

        Dear Sir,

        with regsrds i want to say that i am not satisfied with Vodafone connection which i have, which i am using No [protected].
        Following are my complaints
        1>Changed of caller tune without any information or permission. Then deducted the charge for caller tune
        activation. When the caller tune activated immediately I deactivate the service by "CAN CT" to 144 and
        also the got the deactivation confirmation from Vodafone. But my balance not been updated. It is a
        fully cheating service.

        2>Unlimitted useless calls from VODAFONE for select caller tunes
        3>Unlimitted useless messages from VODFONE like VK-offer/free tone/movie/ganabolo etc.

        Looking good responses in future. So now tell me the solution. We have huge corporate connection of
        Vodafone.

        We think we should quit VODAFONE now.

        Dear Sir,

        I am regular customer of Vodafone and have many of numbers with me. But This is the complaint for Mobile No.-[protected] which is now disconnected. In this number, this was earlier purchased from Sant Nagar East of Kailash, but from last long time from Feb-May, My brother was out of station and not used this, so I requested to close this number to Mini Store (Sant Nagar) many of time but nobody Listen and denied to close this number. This results I pay bill without using number and In Month May, I used some talktime and request to close connection permanently and wasted half day for this operation.
        Service in this store is very poor by all executives, they didnot listen to customers.

        During close of connection, extra charges are also taken without giving any details, so I again visit the Store as on Aug.19, 2009. I requested again for settlement and waste my 2 hours in store. Nobody Give details of settlement and also denied for duplicate copy of previous bill as hard copy and Soft copy. They insult me in front of many of persons.

        So Now you are requested to solve the issue and give details for settlement on my alternate number [protected] and above mentioned mail. Also request you to visit this store and see the working of your staff member (NITIN, ABHINAV and other Colleques). Also requested to solve the problem for [protected], there is problem with other networks other than Vodafone.

        Vodafone — Caller tune getting activated continuously without request

        We have a vodafone mobile prepaid connection in hyderabad that is being used by my parents. In this connection, caller tunes are getting activated without any o[censored]s requesting for them. I already deactivated the last caller tune which we didn't request for. Again, the vodafone brand caller tune got activated without any request from our end! Sometimes, the activated caller tunes are not good also. We are unnecessarily paying money because of these and in addition to that we sometimes feel bad when our callers tell us the caller tunes they hear while calling us. This is totally bad on Vodafone's part and the company should refrain from doing such things.

        Vodafone India — Callertune activated without request

        Vodafone India is sending autodialler calls to customers like a normal call and if anyone picks up the call unknowingly the caller tune is activated and the very next day Rs. 30 is deducted as monthly rental. No money will be refunded even after contacting the customer service. Vodafone is robbing the customers. I think we all should appreciate our present very liberal government for allowing such foreign stealing companies to florish in India. I think it is best in the interest of everyone to quit Vodafone India immediately.
        My father shri D.A.Pimplapure is also a similar victim. His age is 76 and he is using mobile just to be in touch with the family and never wants to get activated any callertunes in his mobile. But the company always activates caller tunes in his phone against his wishes. At present, a very absurd caller tune has been activated on his phone which is very hurting and it doesn't suit his age. Kindly do some thing to correct this Vodafone. I discarded using vodafone for so many different problems which were never attended properly.

          I have dropped my cheque in a Vodafone drop box kept in our office at Building No 9A, Tower A, 7th Floor, DLF Cyber City, Phase III, Gurgaon-122002 on 18th April 2008 valued Rs 751.02 (vide cheque no 440153 dt 17th April 2008 of Axis Bank Ltd ).My Vodafone number is [protected] but every time a call is comming from Vodafone care that the same amount is due for payment.

            My complaints are:

            1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 8 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (rahul talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month.

                  1st problem:- regarding number [protected]
                  1)I am unable to receive the network from past two months and till date but still i am receiving the bill every month.
                  2)i had complained about this to the vodafone customer care [protected] from my prepaid number and they are saying me that they are unable to connect me to the post paid department.So i asked what shell i do for this.Then I asked them whether post paid and prepaid departments belong to the same Company are not.
                  3)When they reqired a connection they will come to us but when we want your service they are not at all bothered about that.
                  2nd problem:-regarding number [protected]
                  1)After seeing this all i want to disconect this number so i called the customer care and asked to disconect this connection.they said me to submit a letter in Vodafone Head Quarters in Chennai,Which is 42 Kilometers from where I stay.
                  2)When they want a connection they just say lot of thing about there customer care and lot of offers provided by them.And they will come to us where we stay but when we have problem why we should do this all...

                  1)I had take this number from a shop near my home where i submitted all my documents of proof.
                  2)But after 2 days they had barred my out going calls

                  3)!st thing why they are selling there sims in all the shops they find.Why don't they sell in so called Vodafone shops.

                  My cell phone number is [protected]. I had a problem regarding my messaging pack which was not activated even after 2 days of my re- charging for Rs.31. So, i went to the hutch customer care office in R.T.nagar, Bangalore and i spoke to one mr. natesh joyappa on the 30th of November .He told me that my problem would be solved in a couple of days and i even received a message from vodafone saying that my complaint would be addressed by the 4th of December.But even after waiting for an entire week nothing happened.
                  I, in that week visited the customer care center 4 times and every time i went there, mr. natesh would tell me that he would set it right by 8p.m. On one such day, he didn't even have the courtesy to speak. All he did was give me a thumbs up sign!
                  And i again went today but fortunately spoke to some one else and he reversed my transaction within 5 minutes. If, all it took was 5 minutes I really do not understand what took mr.natesh 12 days. I really hope you teach your personnel some basic etiquette, and hire people who are really committed to their work, someone unlike mr. natesh. I do not know if he has a language problem or if he is just indifferent to the customer's needs.
                  I really hope that you take this matter seriously before you lose a lot of customers due to your dismal customer care. I for one , am definitely switching over to another service provider as soon as possible. I'm sure it will be worth all the inconvenience that i have to go through.

                  i am gaurav kukreja using vodafone prepaid services ([protected]) from last three months ,i am facing a very big problem from this number which i hope is very uncommon in nature.

                  without touching my phone, that connection (number-[protected]) makes miss call to unknown no very frequently may be more then 5-10 calls on different no on daily basis....which is unknown to me always...and most of them call me back n asking for the reason .....its craets conflicts most of the times...i made complaints many times and ask for the complaint no but customer care always says no for that....

                  i am not able to block his no because i have giving this no to so many persons/places.

                  So to whom it may concern i requested that please do something in it ASAP & please take some action or else i will file a case for some kind of reimbursement either by wealth or action over this company.

                  I am using Hutch for past 1.5yrs and i am quite satisfied with the service.

                  Initially there were several plans, but now-a-days their are no such offers going on.

                  For eg. 1 yr There was a plan where only 3 favorite numbers of hutch was able to call at 10paise/min.

                  But now the same scheme is 25paise/min.

                  Please let me know if the Vodafone can renew the same scheme once again.

                  Because i have a girlfriend and i call her daily and we speak for atleast an hour.

                  So it is would be better the previous plan of 10paise/min can be activated.

                  No doubt if the 10paise plan in only for one single number.

Example today i spoke to Cutomer care staffs Mr.Antony, Mr GeeRaj,Mr Shylash, Mr Viswanath and more peoples. They said today evening it will be activated. Already i have send one complaint through the same the Indian consumer complaints website before two days...but till it is same positions....Really I feel very bad....Kindly do one thing... First you can disconnect my mobile service....thats better.....Pl disconnect my connection and send a written statement to my mail id...And my address also....

                  Vodaphone customer care is really very lousy. They have bunch of in experienced people out there and they also are not responsiv. My experience has been bad, trust me... dont want to spend too much time and energy here to even narrate this.

                  As regards their plans they are attractive only form the outside.
                  I recharge with 200 rupees .i have already got 2 more month validity.why its not considered as top up .Why you are not providinng any list to customer.and if we have validity its mean we are recharging only for top up.

                  I am extremely sorry to write you & forced to do so as I did not found any other solution.

                  Sir, I am using the Vodafone Connection as a Corporate Connection for the last 13 months( Mobile Number-[protected])

                  My entire account details will give you the clear picture of a true customer but never got any value from your end.

                  I would like to draw your kind Attention with some following Points which will state how Vodafone is doing Business & why people loosing their trust in Vodafone ..

                  1. So many times so many complaints has been raised by your so called valued Customer but, nobody even bothered to respond at least once.
                  May be all the complaints has been deleted at your end as could not attended till date due to excessive work load of Vodafone employees. A few Complaint number like,[protected]/ 16.12.07; [protected]/ 09.01.2008 ; [protected] / 09.01.08 is still remembered by me.

                  2. At least 7 ~ 8 times my connection has been deactivated by Vodafone without any prior Information , although Cheque has been deposited prior to due date in Authorized Vodafone Outlet.

                  3. Executives like Maninder Berdi,Sahil do not even know what does Customer means.

                  4. It has become a regular practice at Vodafone either to keep on hold the Customer at least for 10~20 minutes or simple to disconnect the line whenever not able to give any satisfactory answer to the Customer.

                  5. Before going to Foreign for Official work it was intimated to Vodafone & requested to keep alive the network ,but never felt to do so although it is a Corporate Connection & maintaining a good track & was disconnected in next 4 days only.

                  Sir, I do not have any answer of this outrageous attitude of Vodafone

                  I can provide & submit all the details & can prove that inspite of dropping a local cheque in Vodafone Authorized Outlet before due date my Connection has been discontinued at least 3~4 times,which caused a massive monetary loss for me.

                  On 04-01-08, I have purchased a mobile set (L6i Motorola) from M/S S.H.
                  Mumtazuddin Times (P) Ltd, 13, BBD Bag (East), Kolkata-700001 for my wife.
                  The name of the customer is recorded on the receipt (tax-invoice No.:53140)
                  with the name of my wife (Ms. Susmita Gangopadhyay). We have also purchased
                  one Hutch prepaid connection for Life-Time facility with a Simcard (sim No.
                  6030076) by Rs. 375.00/= (tax-invoice No.:53143) from your distributor M/S
                  S.H. Mumtazuddin Times (P) Ltd. After selling the same, the showroom people
                  said that to activate the sim-card we can go to any Vodafone centre and no
                  need to pay further.

                  Phone number of M/S S.H. Mumtazuddin Times (P) Ltd. is :[protected], Mobile:
                  [protected].

                  On 08-01-08, When I activated the simcard in a different showroom (M/S Anand
                  Telecom, 4B, Rani Bhawani Road, (Opp.Southern Market), Kolkata-700 026),
                  they also charged me Rs. 297/- for activation and Life-Time connection. So,
                  I had to pay again. Phone number of M/S Anand Telecom is[protected], Mobile:
                  [protected]. They also informed me that there is no package available with
                  Rs. 375/- for getting Life-Time connection and I may get refund from M/S
                  S.H. Mumtazuddin Times (P) Ltd. for such mistake.

                  double charges and asked for refund. They behave roughly, also blamed on M/S
                  Anand Telecom for taking double payment and shouted me to go to second shop
                  for refund of such double payment.

                  Finally on[protected], I went to Vodafone store SPM (Vodafone ESSAR East
                  Ltd.) near Rashbehari crossing and submitted a written complain for the
                  above fact and waiting for your valuable response.

                  Now as a bonafide customer my queries are as follows:
                  (1). Is there any package of Hutch Prepaid Connection Life-time with Rs.
                  375/- as they are selling? As and when I checked the mobile set in Vodafone
                  store SPM near Rashbehari crossing, it is observed that life-time facility
                  is not available with the package Rs. 375/- sold by M/S S.H. Mumtazuddin
                  Times (P) Ltd. So, I want to get the clear picture about this product and
                  selling package.

                  (2). Why I have to pay twice? This is almost unacceptable as a legitimate
                  customer is bouncing in two different shops and salesmen of the distributor
                  are giving all wrong information (without giving satisfactory explanation).
                  Moreover, when we are going to the showroom of your provider they are just
                  giving blame on each other. We the customers are facing such trouble.

                  (3). Please send me the official confirmation about the Hutch life time
                  connection in my mobile set.

                  Therefore my humble request to take necessary action for the above mentioned
                  fact, to avoid such inconvenience to the customer. Kindly arrange re-payment
                  of Rs. 375/- or include as talk time in my mobile account Hutch- [protected].

                  Recently I bought one Vodafone six-years connectivity prepaid card for my son (we have BSNL, Tata-Indicom mobile lines with an Airtel landline added to this). Since, he is only 12 years old I could not take the card in his name and as such I took it on my name. First my son recharged the SIM with Rs.50/-. After a couple of test calls and downloading of a ringbone it reduced drastically to Rs.2.84 paise. Everybody know that Vodafone lines get number o[censored]nwanted SMS automatically. Since he do not know the dangerous nature of these and since he do not know how to get rid of them we just deleted them. One day, while he was using the phone somehow a Vodafone alert service got activated and his balance of Rs.2.84 awfully reduced to -28.16.

                  We checked with the dealer he said that some service might have got activated. Then we checked with the Vodafone customer care and as per their direction we again recharged for Rs.50/- which act deducted Rs.-28.16 from our talk value and we were left with Rs.14.35. (So we paid Rs.30/- for an unwanted service.) Then we used that Vodafone alert which was somehow chosen by him and got a reply saying that the alert service was deactivated. Then we sent one SMS to stop vodofone junk mails by using a term ACT DND (suggested by customer care people) to the specified number. We got a message from Vodafone saying that their SMS will be stopped. But after a day or two we started to receive junk SMS from them.

                  Today morning we had only Rs.9.37. This afternoon again our account reduced to Rs.-20.63. Probably Vodafone company swallowed another 30 rupees for its favorite service. So, just in a week they swindled Rs.60.00 from a customer diligently. I spoke to the customer care twice. Both the female staff repeated their jargon “the customer is wrong”. Fed up with their attitude I finally broke the SIM-card into two and thrown it away. Thus I spent Rs.350/- for learning a soar full lesson from Vodafone.

                  Vodafone’s advertisements are extremely good; their customer care people are very kind (only male staff); their advertisements are catching but their attitude is detestable.

                  This is regarding a sms which I had received a few days back urging me to go for a refill of Rs.200.00 to keep my mobile connection validated. I find this equivalent caveat emporium as I have gone for lifetime validity. What is the purpose of paying for lifetime validity and then being told later to refill for Rs.200.00 every 6 months to keep my lifetime offer? Then what is the lifetime offer that we are getting and paying for?

                  As I use my office mobile I have not much use for the Hutch number but yet I wanted to keep my existing number and hence I had gone for the lifetime scheme. If I had known that this is what was in store, I would never have gone for the lifetime validity scheme and would have opted for some other connection.

                  I do hereby strongly protest for such unauthorized deduction of Rs. 45/- from your end and request you to make necessary arrangement to refund of Rs. 45/- immediately in my current mobile A/C to make a harmonious relation with consumer.                   i must say that vodafone actually should ask all its customer care executives to take break and go on a long holdiday coz it seems they are tired of their jobs so not responding to customer's queries even after the same complaint is made end number of times.I placed a request for a new sim 10 days back but till todayi've not got one.                   I am disgusted with the shoddy treatment I have received by Vodafone India. I purchased a Vodafone Prepaid sim in Mumbai on the 20th January 2009. Filled in the required forms and paid my dues to the vendor with whom I was conducting my business. I assumed that I had complied with all that was required by me. My phone was connected and I was able to make calls until I received a message stating that in order to avoid being cut off I should submit yet another form due to an entirely new procedure. I confronted the vendor with this he did not know what the new requirement was. I went to the Vodafone offices in Khar West where the person I spoke with was also uncertain of the new procedure. After some consultation he informed me that I required a 'Certificate of No Objection' he explained that this was merely a letter from my hotel. I duly complied and returned to the vendor who submitted the documents as directed. I must say the Vendor was a most helpful person and a credit to his Vodafone agency. I left Mumbai and went to Goa where I was able to use my phone, until 1st February 2009 I was about to return to the UK for 17 days when I discovered that I was unable to make outgoing calls. I have in excess of 500 rupees credit on my phone. I called the so called Customer Care and had the misfortune to speak with some automaton who cut me off when he was unable or unwilling to understand what I was saying causing me to ask for a supervisor. I called again I explained that the fact that Vodafone were only in receipt of a photocopy on my ‘Certificate of No Objection’ was something which could easily be resolved by contacting the vendor and requesting the original – assuming he had not despatched the original in the first place. I was not in a position to send the original as I am not in possession of the document nor will I be in such a position in future as I will be returning to Chennai.
                  It seems incomprehensible that I should be penalised for some procedure which none of your staff seem to be able to give definitive advise about. You are still in receipt of 500+ rupees and I do not have a service. I wonder is this how you do business? If so I find it extremely shoddy.

                  On Monday 6th April, 2009 I was having a balance of Rs.235/- but all of a sudden till after noon a sum of Rs.100/- were deducted out of it. Next morning they told me to contact next day afternoon. Again on next day afternoon they told me that it was happened with many of our customers not only with you and your 100/- Rs. balance will be reversed into your account till 6:00 in the evening positively. Next day was good friday 10th of April' 2009. I tried a lot, alot and a lot to contact but all went into the hell and still I am waiting for those 100/- Rs. balance to be reversed into my account.
                  Till the time it was Hutch, it was OK but now Vodafone, it is really useless company.
                  No schemes, no response, nothing is provided to their customers.

                  my number is [protected]. i made a few special number msgs to jaago and jeeto i.e 57575 vodafone has applied charges on my bill stating jaago and jeeto msg 975 inr and special number msgs 465 inr this way they are billing me twice to use a single service + to top up to the same when i call the customer service of the billing department they have no idea what they are saying nd want to xfer my call to their team leader put me on hold nd after a 10 min hold the call gets disconnected. i call back and the rep again xfers me and another 10 min hold and call diconnected and this repeats the third time so i thought better not pay such people who dnt have value for my money, time nd dnt respect their cust as well. they are a real cheat not only this no one bothers to call back the cust if the call gets disconnected nd the problem is not resolved. not at all proper customer satisfaction recieved from vodafone. if there are awards been declared i dnt think so the even deserve to be listed.

My plan is called the Hutch Student Plan, and the call rates are hutch to hutch - 30 paisa , hutch to other mobile and landline 1 rupee. I have a privilage to send 100 sms/day with 1 paisa rental per day. On 8th november 2009 i tried to send a sms but couldn send as it showed "message sending failed ". And this continued the next day. I called the customer care and lodged a complaint and they responded asking me to wait for 5 hours as they had some technical problem. But nothing have changed yet and today is 12th november.                   I had a vodafone connection, and due to poor service and network problem, i had lodged several complaints at the customer care and at the stores of vodafone mobile store, and i dint even get a positive response and even attempting to look at my complaints, due to network problems i had to face a huge amount of loss in my business, they used to regularly call me for the bills and when i used to complain about the poor network and service they used to hang up my call and sent a represntative at my door steps to collect money, and when i used to tell them about the complaint i have logged for they used to say its not thier business, and at last they send a notice at my door steps stating of a criminal offence of not paying the bills.

                  why should i pay bill for such a poor quality of service they provide. and will they pay back the loss i have incured while using the worst service they used to provide. i still kept on paying the bills on time, but still they did not even care of looking into the matter of the complaints i had lodged at their customer care centers, and when i asked for the list of records that i had registered, they say i had never lodged any complaints, the most ridiculous service providing company i have come across.
                  and at the end they send me a notice of harassment for not paying the bill. if they would have taken into consideration of the complaints i have lodged i would not have taken the step of disconnecting the service and rejecting to pay the bills.

                  I can only say this is most ridiculous company i have ever seen and all those people who are using such service please take strict action if you come across such problems with the service they provide.

                  I am A.Vivekanand a customer with Vodafone for the past 3 yrs holding a Postpaid connecting my mobile # [protected] and a Addon # [protected]

                  I wish give my complaint to you on the service and offer provided by Vodafone to its own customer an ADD ON card which is a really happy thing and a sad ending for me. I got a selective mobile # choice which I have gifted to my wife.

                  This is by Vodafone called me through your Business promotion Sales personals, they informed that "Sir, your Mobile # is selected by Vodafone and we are providing an Add On Sim card, This is a limited offer only", they informed me to provide the ID proof, Address Proof and Photograph to avail this connect. I provided them the informed documents to the executive who had come to my office to collect it and he handed over the New Sim card and informed it will be activated in 24hrs. As informed by him to me the sim got activated and it us in use till 26.11.09 evening 19.35.

                  I received the first bill for Rs. 126/- for the first 11 days (30.10.09 to 11.11.09) and paid it by 21st to the Vodafone Store (K.H.Road).

                  Received a call on 24.11.09 informing by the Telecalling Executive from Vodafone (Vinod) that they are verifying the address provided by me and was enquiring that he required my presence at home to sign a form to confirm my residence. I informed him that this is not possible for me to stay at home before 9pm evening and I start to office at 8am morning the reason is I am working and I asked him to send the verification executive my office for the forms signature. He inform that he will be sending a person to office the next day (25.11.09).

                  Received a call on 25.11.09 informing about the same as the previous day call from Vodafone this time a Lady could not make a note of her name. I was not in a position to repeat the same information to her as I was in between many thing at work. I shouted at her and inform her to check with the person who had called on 24th to me and disconnected the line.

                  26th evening at 21-30 the mobile # [protected] outgoing is been suspended and the message inform to check with customer care when I tried to make a call.

                  I immediately tried calling the customer care @ 111 and a customer care officer started informing go to the Vodafone stores for this issue as verification is been failed. I inform him that the complete statement what had happened to me for the past two days and asked him provide the outgoing to be connected. But he was repeatedly telling one and only one thing is go to the Vodafone store to resolve this issue.

                  Loved to retain the Vodafone connection as provided an addon connection with mobile # as requested, but after this kind of service given to a customer holding a connection for more than 3 years and I will prefer to be with the same service provider, really screwed my happines in life.

                  My humble request, DONOT provide a ADDON card to your existing customer and make him feel sick of the service provider (VODAFONE)

                  I am not going to be a Vodafone customer from tomorrow as had a very very good and beautiful experience with you folks...

                  But one more request to you from your Ex-customer. NEVER DISCONNECT THE OUT GOING AT LATE EVENING so that the customer is in trouble and we are left with no option from you(Vodafone).

                  1) [protected] - Network problem- i called the customer care they were saying that my sim is not working properly so i need to change so i did the same & there the lady was saying that it will be activated in 4 hrs but its been 28 hrs its not activated yet.

                  i dont know what kind of customer care they provide, when i call the executive they say due to server problem we are unble to give any kind of help if they have so much long lasting server problem how they provide the INTERNET facility to their customer. I dont think we should rely on their network, its better to switch to the another brand which provide good service........

It was working for for 1st month (after complaint), Again it started charging for local sms 50 paisa per sms. Daily i am calling customer care, they are replying sorry it will be active with in 24 hours. I am using this number +91 [protected] from last more than 5 years. I was not expected like this. I dont know how Vodafone is behaving to the customer. No proper plan no proper work for helping customer. Everyday i am loosing minimum 15 min from my time against this plan talking with customer care, but still no result. I am really very surprised to see this kind of behavior of Vodafone, Now m blaming VODAFONE only even i used this network from last 5 year.

But in every six months message from vodafone center will come to me stating that i hve to submit my self attested documents other wise my service will be discontinued. Now in last 2 years i already submitted my documents 3 to 4 times even then they are not updating there data and continuously annoying me with there messages every now and then.                   Till 15 may 2010 when i still did not received my duplicate bill i visited your Vodafone store in sector 31 Faridabad to check the reason for not receiving the bills on time. They did not have any reason for the same and were avoiding the issue with dump faces instead they told me that the bill will reach me in couple of days more and till that time i should deposit the outstanding amount of Rs.1500 to activate my services which were barred from your end. I again had an optimistic approach to the same and deposited the said amount on there request thinking to have a good result later.

                  On 27 may 2010, yesterday, i received my current months bill which had a good surprise for me.
                  1. The bill reversal / waver for Rs.300 that was promised to me was not actually done.
                  2. Late payment charges for Rs.100 were again imposed on my account.
                  3. When my services had been barred on 29 April 2010 till 15 may 2010, i had been charged with the monthly charges for the entire month.

                  Looking at the above i am really in a state on shock and feel cheated from the last one year from your end.
                  I request you the last time to please look into the matter and sort it asap so that i can possibly continue to use your services.

Customer care executives don't know to speak proper english, if they dont know to reply means then immediately they will put the call in hold and never attends the call, so irritating, sometimes they say that they will transfer the call to their senior executives, but no one will attend the call even after waiting for more than 20 mins and the call gets automatically disconnected. No telecom service is so bad like vodafone in india. and i am going to post all of this customer care complaints in facebook, orkut, twitter etc.. The services are to be rectified with in 24hours. But 10 days passed away and my in coming and outing going calls are getting barred.                   Hi, my number is [protected], my calls being barred all of suddenly i don't know why, when i call the customer care they say the request had been registered in Vodafone store at Perambur, i did give a request to cancel my number one month before that too only in customer care line and later due to some unavoidable reason i had to re-activate to cancel that request, however i did not give any recently in any Vodafone store and i don't understand how the request got filled and even if it is someone filled by mistake don't anyone bother to call the customer and know why they want to cancel the connection after using the network for more than one year, thats stupid, if they did called me then this issue would have never happened, when i called the customer care to activate my number immediately the agent said that it can't be done immediately and I've asked him to transfer the line to the supervisor and while talking to him all i said was "All i want you guys to do is to activate activate my damn number immediately ", then the Supervisor goes like "Sir, as u using profanity i have to disconnect the call and just hung-up the call", I don't understand in which language the word "damn" is being considered as profanity, even a month before i was being charged Rs.800 for using mobile Internet, i have used not even 1GB, i think it had just used around 800MB, it is damn high charge when Airtel offers plan for 2GB usage @ just Rs.99 and Videocon has plans for Rs.99 unlimited usage of Internet, why are we getting abused by Vodafone, just because we are their customers, hope Vodafone changes its attitude towards their customers or at-least future holds a lesson for them. I'm just waiting for Nov 25th, 2010 for Network provider change service to be effective without changing the numbers, as soon that service is made available I'm going to change my number, i regret even wasting my time in making this complaint to a company which never listens.

                    An amount @ Rs. 199/- for October and November 2007 has been deducted forcefully from my prepaid account of Vodafone No. [protected]. I approached two times to the Vodafone stores at Vikas Marg, New Delhi. on dt. 01.12.2007 and 19.01.08 regarding above complaint.

                    I came to know that the said amount is deducted for activation of internet on phone. I hereby specify that I never made a request to activate the internet and not used any time even it was activated. The Executive in Vodafone store on 01.12.07 assured me that she has sent an email to the concerned department and the money will be re-credited in my account within one week. But it is regretted to say that the assurance has not been fulfilled . I further approach the same Vodafone store on 19.01.08 and on the enquiry the assistant said to me that she is not capable to do the needful.

                    Hence I request to you that an amount of Rs. 398/- my kindly be recredited to my account.

As it was a recorded message, I did not get any chance to oppose against such unauthorized deduction of Rs.45/- from the Vodafone authority by the way of one way communication.
                    I do hereby strongly protest for such unauthorized deduction of Rs. 45/- from your end and request you to make necessary arrangement to refund of Rs. 45/- immediately in my current mobile A/C to make a harmonious relation with consumer.                     I did online recharge using your http://www.vodafone.in/Pages/index.aspx site to [protected] ...I have selected Karnataka (which is correct) and YES BANK. I chose 201 rupees full talk time 30 day validity option. I filled up the information, it redirected to YES BANK I filled up my customer ID and Password. I typed 201, clicked the only option, I got password SMS to my another number ([protected]) tagged with YES BANK account, I typed the password, did the transaction to Vodafone BILLDESK. I recieved confimation page with confirmation number (54508). My cell is not yet recharged. I rechecked by filling confirmation number and my cell number in vodafone site. It said id is invalid, even I called your cutomer care(111) 6 times. First agent told me to wait for 1 hour, 2 agent told me to wait for 24 hours, 3rd agent told me to half an hour to recheck it. 4th agent told me to wait for 2 hours that an update is going on, 5th agent told me to wait again, and told if recharge not done then ur money ll be taken back to my YES BANK account.

                    WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON TO REACHARGE JUST 201 rupees.

                      All Vodafone customers are vexed with cheap advertisements. I too have the same problem. But I switched to AirTel especially for this purpose.
                      Even Airtel gives those ads instead of Cell Info...This is legally incorrect...spoke to cust care ...they said it is not possible to hide those ads...
                      this is true.Even i dint get any response from customer care on this
                      Since last few years I am a prepaid customer of your company. Presently It is a common feature to get disturbance from unwanted phone calls and messages during the whole day and night regularly. I have talked to your customer care operator regarding the issue and told them to stop this immediately. They replied me, to send a message "START DND" to the number 1901 for deactivation of the service.Though I sent the same message to the given number repeatedly but all the times the messages were either pending or failed. One thing I cannot understand that the service which I did not activate how should I responsible to make it deactivate. Hence I bring the matter to your notice and hope you will take the action so that such service should be stopped from your part after receiving any objection from any customer by your customer care operator.
                      I twice complained with Vodafone MD Asim Ghosh about the cell info display problem. The customer care person who spoke to me says that so far no one has complained to them about this so far!                         I have a postpaid connection. In 2006 in sept i did not receive my bill.After reminders i got bill and was charged for duplicate bill. Next month again bill was not received so could not pay.Late payment charges were shown in next bill. After that I have spoken to cc Sent emails from official outlets in pune but the charges are beeing reflected in all bill till date.I have received letters from in this regard twice which is insulting.

                          Hi, I am advocate Tomar from Pune and I had swithced over to vodafone from Idea and took pre-paid contact no. [protected] in the month of Sep. 2007. Thereafter again I took another mobile pre-paid contact no. [protected] on 17th Dec. 2007after paying a handsum amount of Rs. 650/= by way of cash from the same dealer on the same date and delivered all the papers from whom I purchased earlier. Now to my surprise, my services are not activated till today and after speaking to customer care centre with Mr. Kadam on 26th Dec. 2007 in the morning and giving my earlier reference of my number, my services are not activated and this amounted to deficiency in service apart from cheating to innocent customers by resorting to malafide and restrictive trade policies and for this the company and its dealer both are responsible. Now I have decided to switch over to idea and to fight for justice against this company and its dealer by initiating proper and appropriate legal actions in due course of time at its own consequences.

                          Vodafone — unauthorised debit in the balance

                          On 23.07.2008 my mobile no. flashed a message that your caller tune is downloaded sucessfully and 17 rs deducted in my balance.and then after some time my balance is again deducted rs 30.Without being demanded this type of thing is being given.                             Set caller tune and add that amount in my bill without any sort of intimation

                            Highly dis-oriented by the unprofessional approach by Go-air causing great inconvenience, mental harassment, and financial loss to me.



                            I had booked my flight with Makemytrip.com on 17th September 2007 for a return trip for Delhi - Mumbai.

                            The itenary was as follows:

                            17th Nov 07 MUM-DEL Goair flight#106 5:25 pm - 7:15 pm PNR# Q4RBZC

                            All this time i was always under the impression that i made a mistake in checking the time and got late for my flight and was begging the Go-air duty officers. I wanted to board the next available flight to Mumbai but due to heavy traffic that day the next available with any other airline was not before 11:55 am, i had to get my booking done for the same flight Goair-451 for the next day.



                            It is on the next day after reaching Mumbai that i realised that the flight had been pre-poned Now, highly irresponsible on the airlines part that:



                            I was not even informed of the pre-ponement of the flight.
                            Instead of being aplogetic and co-operating since its a miskate on the airlines part i was not only mentally harassed by the employees by indicating that iam late.
                            I was made to suffer with a delay of one day causing me loss in my work.
                            Loss of reputation at my office since i was supposed to join a day before.
                            Travel to and fro to the airport twice causing not only the inconvenince of time but loss incurred financially on the taxi fare.
                            Lack of sleep
                            Direct Financial loss since i had to book another flight for a ticket of higher amount ( G8-451 on 21st Nov 07 for Rs 6250, PNR # EVRLY6)
                            On approaching the mumbai counterpart, i was not even heard out properly by the person on the ticketing counter and was told to get in touch with Makemytrip.com
                            On demanding to speak to higher authorities i was forwarded to Mr. Arun Kumar Bhandari who atleast listened to my problem and offered to help me out. Though initially he also tried to get-away with saying that they did not have my contact number hence they could not have informed me, but at that very instance i logged on to makemytrip.com website and showed him that my number was already present and it is the responsibility of the airlines and not the agent to inform the customers of the delay if any. Iam an end customer of Goair and not makemytrip and even if there was a lack on the part of makemytrip, it is still Goair's reponsibility to ensure that such goof-ups do not happen or make good for the goof-ups.

                            I hence demand a refund of my next-day ticket and the direct financial losses incurred by me.

                              Hutch-Vodafone cust. executives are not technically sound. I faced an issue with my prepaid mobile. I called the interactive system and reached an executive who was quite polite and very sweet. But that is all he was. Called Senthil, this guy knew only to respond like this to each of my question: "Dear Ms Nithya, thank you for calling Vodafone services. Thank you so much for giving me the details. I will surely help you out with your issue." I told him 4 times what issue I was facing. But each time, he responded with the same (above) answer. I asked him ,can you solve this issue? He said, "Dear Ms Nithya, I can surely solve your issue, thank you for calling Vodafone. Thank you for giving us your details!" I felt disgusted at having wasted so much money and I hung up. I had to visit a Hutch (nee) Vodafone shop and get it sorted out. It was a simple issue, which the girl at the counter (Revathy) sorted out immediately, within 2 minutes! So much for Senthil.

                              VODAFONE IS THE WORST WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE.THEY ARE VERY ADAMANT & TEND TO IRRITATE THE CUSTOMER MORE THAN AN ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE AN ISSUE.REGULATORY AUTHORITIES SHOULD INTERVENE & SEE THAT OUR COUNTRY CUSTOMERS ARE NOT TAKEN FOR A RIDE BY COMPANIES LIKE VODAFONE THROUGH MISLEADING SMS ALSO.
                              I DIDN'T GET THE CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE FOR THE LAST 2 MONTH.
                              Vodafone is chargeing the customers with errerounous bills.They will show some new SMS special numbers and shows in the bill that you have sended.When we ask the executives.what is this number for.They simply say u have sended.Regulatory authourities should inquire this things with the Operators.
                              Airtel is worse guys don't understand english and when they are not happy talking to you they hang up the phone. The only advantage is there network apart from that eveything bad bad
                              since 3rd of march i m running to voda store to get my net connection activated & properly working on my laptop, but efforts goes to useless staff alloted at unnao stote;namely Vinod:the most unefficient, Arijit:busy in writing exms, the other fat fellow: busy in customer reducing scheme & training;i could not get my net working, now i think adamently to change over to any other working network/ Further i want to & i will discontinue rest of my services taken from voda as i m a very old customer so it will take long for me to cieculate the new number to my friends.
                              most useless service & useless staff at their hypothetical stores all over the place.

                                After six months of disconnection of Mobile No. [protected], i received a threating call from Delhi Police Commisioner on the 3rd December afternoon, that he has an arrest warrant in my name and will come to arrest me at 6pm. He gave me the
                                number of an Advocate J.R. Mishra [protected]. he asked me to call him and try to settle the matter or else he will get the cops in front of my home in the evening. i was petrified and terrified and fainted at the very first thought of it.
                                When my colleagues in office called the advocate, he asked to pay an amount of 2510/- immidiately and send across a mail with the bill receipt to address [protected]@vodafone.com
                                i requested for a dissconnection of my number on the 2nd of June as i got a job in Bangalore and had to move from Delhi. My account also showed a bill plan change which i never requested for. they made me pay 2510/- against an outstanding of 2380/-(i got to know this when i went at Vodafone and checked my account)
                                I am 21years old and a Low BP patient, who is staying alone in Bangalore without family for the first time in my entire life. the kind of threatening that they gave me could taken life out of me. I in the past six months never received any reminder of any outstanding bill . because i cleared all the payments before getting the number dissconneted(they dont dissconnet without clearing the dues!!!) . my current number is [protected], i request you to take some action, as i am still not over the whole senario. you can understand how it must have been for a person who has never even seen a police station apart from in movies.

                                Vodafone — Late Dispatch of Bills.

                                I am customer of Vodafone since last six years, having Post Paid connection( No. [protected]). Since Vodafone tookover Hutch Indian operations the service standrad has fallen to the lowest possible level. Every month, Vodafone dispatches bill late and again instead of varifying with their Courier about recipt of Bill by customer, they keep on sending SMS (Which is costing if customer is out of Mumbai) informing, that their biil for Particular month has been dispatched, due on 15th of that particular month .Pls. pay before due date to avoid late fees.

                                This is rediclous by any standrad, and also day light roberry as Vodafone send bills late and want their customer to late fees for their inefficiency.

                                I am owner of a vodafone postpaid connection (earlier the Hutch) for over a year. My number is [protected], I have not recieved any bill, but for once only-that too on lodging a complaint with the customer care. then too the courier delivering the bill at my billing address just told me that he'll not be able to deliver bill in a village at a distance of 5 km from Faridabad and then afterwards I have not recieved any bill. I have been paying the dues only on recieving the sms for dues from the company earlier Hutch now Vodafone. How can I know about the details of my bill and how long I will have to suffer at the hands of such callous company.

                                hutch post paid — bill plan misktake by the company service person

                                Dear Concern,

                                i have applied for Hutch post paid service at vadodara few months ago, the service agent has commited mistake in the bill plan because of which I got a monthly bill of more than 2200 rs which actually could be below 900 rs according to the plan explained.

                                i discontinued the service after that incident , but still they gave me monthly bills for a period of 5 months or so dispite my complaints to the customer care.
                                I have paid total money as per the plan explained to me, now they have sent agents to collect money and followed by a notice from civil court (ref. no LEGAL/DEC/BRD/1559.)

                                I got a airtel prepaid conection on November 2,2007.Now,I want to convert it to a postpaid connection.When I talked to the customer care over phone,I was told it can be done after a month's time.So,yesterday I approached an airtel showroom in Delhi(Airtel ,pusa road)to get it converted.
                                The representative in the showoom completely ruled out th possibility and said that the existing prepaid connection must be atleast 8 months old!! I again reconfirmed it with the customer care over phone for atleast five times and again went to the showroom.The representative again, in a very rude manner sticked to his point and wasn't ready to agree with me.His approach was so rude and unprofessional that I'm afraid such representative's are a real shame for the group.
                                Can u people please tell me what has to be done??!

                                Vodafone — services of prepaid connection stopped

                                I have vodafore prepaid connection [protected] and services of this connection has been stopped twice during last 15 dyas and connection is not operational. Customer care 111 gives various reasons that are not confirmed and there is no official communication for suspension of services.

                                Vodafone — Threat call for payment of wrong bill.

                                I have been using (hutch) service for the last two years under the pre paid rent scheme. This Sept'07 the scheme was over but no one from the said comany contacted me for renewel or to offer new scheme. I coult not able to contact the company as their customer care number are not working. I got one message only that plan 150 has been activated on ur number. They sent me a bill for Rs 417 in which Rs 390 was charged towards rent for 2 months. Now i want to ask the company, how they can activate such plan without asking the customer. They r supposed to confirm the same. Now from the day i received the bill, i m regularly receiving calls for the payment. They r threatning me to pay the bill immediately.
