Subject- cheating in activating the number after receiving the money

Dear Sir/Madam

On 20th February 2011, I got a call on my Airtel mobile bearing no.[protected] from one Mr. Lucky, whose mobile no is.[protected], who said that he is calling from Vodafone and he has some scheme of vodafona about which he told me regarding new connection.
Then, I took a new post-paid connection from your service on the promise that you would activate coporate full value 299 plan on my current number([protected]) .One of the field executive of Vodafone ,Mr.Rajendra Kumar (whose no.is [protected]) from M/s intouch Solutions visited to me on 21st February and taken documents and provided the sim card and taken Rs.250/- as cash and provided the receipt number 25150 dated 21st February 2011.The SIM number allotted to me is [protected] with CAF number 82624303.
I had also applied mobile no.portability on about February 2011 to airtel and the airtel sent a UP code no.AD 342834 but the Vodafone officer told me that the portal request was rejected by the airtel for one or another reason. It took about 14 days.
Then I requested to Vodafone officer (Mr.Lucky) to leave the portal request and issue me a new number. Then he issued me a new number bearing [protected] and he told me that this new number will activate within 48 hours after verification. I received calls from Vodafone for verification. They verified from me the address and all the formalities. They called me for this purpose for 4-5 days. And now more than 10 days past, neither my number was activated nor they are ready to refund my amount. I have talked to Mr.Lucky of Vodafone, for number of times but his response was negative. Even he was not ready to entertain my call and says this is not his department. I also talked to Mr.Rajender Kumar of Intouch solutions (the person who had come to my house and taken the documents) number of times to refund the money but he refused and says that he can’t come and unable to do the same and gave me the number of one Mr. Sumit Makhija of Intouch Solutions. I talked to him and that person also refused to entertain the call. What all it is am I begging any thing. Till now I didn’t get any single right information or help from Vodafone regarding my connection. There are many companies who care for their customers but what the bluddy treatment you guys are giving to your customers as a telecom company, a new brand in India don’t know how to do their work, how to behave with the customers and provide customer satisfaction.
I would like to request you to kindly look into the matter and rectify the issue and either activate my new number given to me or refund my money. I would also like to know that how come is it possible that you can sign and confirm the agreement and after that doing nothing and kept harassing me mentally..
The kind of service you people advertise is totally useless. I am going to put this mail along with all the concern number on the blogs and to the consumer forum. I have been cheated by Vodafone .They have taken the amount and neither activated my number nor refunded the amount and when I call to the people they just throw the balls to one another. I had clearly talked to your operators number of times and even to the man who came to my house to give the new sim card but now when I speak to them regarding this they say that they are helpless and can’t do anything, even they do not attend the call properly and avoid talking to me. This is a clear cheating going on with me.
I just can’t keep running from pillar to post...talking to the operators was of no consequence so far and I just don’t want to leave my money as I have paid for a service which I never got and no one gives a damn about that in the cc.i Just wanted your reaction on the whole issue before I initiate my next step.
I would also like to complaint against your executives and field executive(Mr.Lucky and Rajender Kumar), who misbehaves with the customers and do not attend their call properly and after taking the money avoid talking to them. And when I told them “I will complaint against you people to your superiors” They are least bothered about that and replied “You do as you like” that incident gave me a bad impression about the Vodafone staffs.

1) I want to know the purpose of Vodafone customer care Centre’s kept across across the country, Is it to fool the customers and to collect revenue for the company?

2) Why Vodafone Customer Care department which is having an internationalBrand image doesn’t train their staffs how to behave with the customers?

3)The time is precious for all and why they are delaying unnecessarily? They can collect all the queries/complaints and call and inform the messages/solutions on our complaints if not able to process/reply at that moment.

I hope You will look forward in these type of matters and pressurize service providers to keep the commitments given through plans while marketing in sweet words.

This is hanish jadala customer of vodafone from past 5years MY MOBILE NUMBER IS "[protected]"([protected]@gmail.com).20th of this month i have got a push message from the service provider says i[censored] recharge with 36/- RC all local calls will be charged 10 pisa per min. so i have recharged with 36 and after that i noticed that it is not activated on all calls but only for vodafone to vodafone only . Then i make call to customer care center they did not respond to my request and they put my call on hold saying they are transferring the call to there higher executives but no one did not speak to me and they put my call on hold for long time i called to 111 number where they charge 50 pisa for 3 mins they charge for that call but they put my call on hold for 15mins and then i called to 198 to complaint the same thing happen they said they are transferring the call to higher executives but they did not do that.Then on 23rd of this month i personally went to vodafone store in warangal (andhra pradesh) and made complaint personally in fornt of me they send a mail to there authorities and gave me this compliant number "[protected]" they said by next day i.e., 24th evening they will solve the problem but they did not do that. and again on 25th may 2011 i made a call for status of that complaint then he maid another complaint and send me one more complaint registration number "[protected]" and gave me the date and time to respond to the request saying 26-may-2011 thursday 11:48 am but, they did not respond to my request and today i made call to customer care for status but they did not solve my problem and they blocked me calling to customer care now from my number i can not speak to customer care either for 111 nor 198 also. i told them from other vodafone number this is happened to me then she said she will look to this issue but she is unable to answer to my queries and all of a sudden she put my call on hold and after some time my call was dropped . i need help so that i get my money back or activate the this 10 pisa offer for all local calls. i showed the proof also to the warangal vodafone store executives also then only they made a compliant.please guide me to stop such cheating the customers of other vodafone .i hope you will help me out for my rights.

I was continuously receiving call on my mobile phone from Vodafone to get a postpaid connection. I agreed after a number of calls to have a Vodafone connection to avoid the disturbance through mobile phone. They asked Rs.250 and collected the money on the next day, 11th of June 2011and promised me to give the connection within 48 hours. After paying the amount, they started harassing that I would get a confirmation call and activate the SIM within 72 hours. It had been continuing for 10 days by receiving at least a dozen calls in a day they are going to activate the SIM within 72 hours. They repeated the same slogan that you have to attend the next call and say your address.

I got angered and asked them to return my money. After that I was receiving calls from a lady appologising. She also used the same slogan that I had to attend another call from Vodafone and say my address.

I sent many e-mails to Vodafone to back my money. They were not giving a satisfied reply. Once they addressed me as Mr.Khan instead of George.

I approached the Vodafone Corporate office at C-48, Okhla Phase-II,New Delhi and waited more than 30 minutes to speak with their Customer support executive,Ms.Azra. I told all the bitter experience before starting their service and asked for refund. She refused the refund and eventually agreed to return my money back after deducting Rs.100 and would pay after 60 days. She was saying whatever you do if you are not agreeing. I was insulted in front of other customers. She was saying that I am not residing the address given to them. I have been residing in the same place for the last 7 years with my wife and two children.

Till date they have not taken any step to solve this issue.

I realised it is a style of cheating operated by Vodafone and its associates by giving forcibly faulty SIM cards at a cost of Rs.250 where SIM cards are available at a maximum of Rs.40 in the market. People leave the issue to avoid the harassment and irritating calls by ignoring Rs. 250. They get innocent Indians like me and can pocket money by practicing fraud.

I have bought a Vodafone simcard on 17/07/2011 with Rs.19.50 balance and recharge Rs18 (with recharge voucher, serial no.[protected], date of pkg: 23/04/2010 and expiry date 23/04/2013) at 2h 55min on 18/07/2011 for unlimited free surfing for 3 days. After recharge I had got a massage “Dear Customer, Rs18 pack of Vf live (GPRS) with unlimited free surfing for 3 days is activated now” from Vodafone. After 5 min of this massage I started to surfing (downloading iTunes setup) suddenly a massage showing that “downloading failed” then I was tried to connect but I failed, when I check my balance with *141#, I was surprised! What is it? Balance Rs.-35.50. How it possible? Then I call to customer care (111) the representative said that the pack will activate after 4 hours of recharge. Again call at 198 and asked them what the problem was of deducted the money? They tell me that I was surfing the chargeable site, I answered that was not a chargeable site because when I start the download there was nothing written about the charge then the representative transfer that to his senior She said me that you can only surfing the http:// sites not www sites. I am surprised again, what is it? I asked her, where is written by you about this? On recharge voucher? Many things written there but not about this speech. But it is written on recharge voucher that “The packs include Vodafone Live Service only & Multimedia Messaging Service will be charged as per standard rate. All downloads vis-à-vis games, ringtones, mp3 songs, themes will be charged as per standard rate”.
This is to inform that the vodafone tele-sales has just attained new high in cheating its existing customers.

My Name is Mihir Dubal and I am a customer for this cheat cellular company.

In the first week of July I got a call from one of theTele-cheat agents that there is a new package where in I can make all local calls at 30p/min effective my new billing cycle. I liked the plan and decided to go ahead with this. The tele-cheat agent informed me that this packed will cost me Rs.25/month apart from standard billing plan and will be effective from July 11th 2011.

Now comes the revelation. In the 3rd week of July I get a SMS from vodafone services that this plan has been activated on my connection, with applicable call rates of 30p/min, ONLY FROM 6am - 9am.


Now WHO IN THE HELL WOULD LIKE TO AVAIL A PLAN LIKE THIS.

This is not a case of mis-selling its a total case of cheating. This company has crossed all limits of ethical business practice and stabbing the customer in the back. This is an all time low level to which vodafone has stooped to suck some extra money from its customers.
Today I have called up the vodafone customer care(to whom i have to pay to talk) and confirmed the same.

Today onwards I will be addressed as an ex-customer of vodafone rather than existing customer.

vodafone are big cheaters , my balance was around 30 approx , voda deducted my balance , they showed me details that your balance has been transferred . How can my balance be transferred and when i checked my last 3 transactions details it showed 12.00 deducted for USSD , rs 6.00 deducted for USSD .. when i called customer care they refused to tell me the reason for deduction and refused to tell me the number where my balance was transferred . This is with a great dissapointment i write to u that i Dr.Shyamsunder Prapanna holding your vodafone connection [protected] from the past 8 years and paying each and every bill on time with no due bill and also my family including my wife and children use a max of 5 vodafone numbers each billing upto 1000 rupees each and after being such loyal towards your company What i get is this -----

March 2011 onwards i have been charged a rental amount of 199 rs for a period of 8 months in the name of GPRS RENTAL and in the month of may i have revolted against this and got a reversal of 2 months but following may this service has been charged again and again after that month till december 2011 and during this period i have visited the vodafone gallery 6 to 7 times and what i get is acomplaint number and a verbal confirmation that the reversal will be done , and we have also called the Customer care for several times and again disgrace and dissapointment over there as well , The total amount of reversal comes up to 1800 rs APPROXIMATLEY , the amount is not small nether is my proffession , i dont have further time to waste , my recent call was to Mr Mohammed the supervisor i spoke on 111 and the complaint number is - [protected] , I kindly request you to look in to this matter and revert back immideatly and if NO ACTION IS TAKEN THEN WE HAVE OTHER OPTIONS OPEN SUCH AS------- MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILTY OR DISCONNECTING ALL THE NUMBERS WITHOUT PAYING THE BILLS , as i dont want to spoil my relation with you , please take this mail very SERIOUSLY , i have no ideas if this mail can go unattended or not taken seriously
The reversal of those particular 2 months had been done from Thakur village branch of kandivali east area and i wasbeing falsely promised about all reversal from this very branch and cheated too .

THE SAME MAIL HAS ALSO BEEN SENT TO CONSUMER COMPLAINT FORUM SITE .

ITS A SHAME TO SAY THAT BEING ON THE TOP OPERATOR AND BEING A MULTINATIONAL COMPANY , YOU HAVE DONE SUCH A BIG MISTAKE , ITS NOT THE POINT OF 1800 rs BUT I HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY YOUR IRRESPONSIBLE EMPLOYEES , THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOUR IS UNACCEPTABLE.

I am a vodafone customer for 3 yrs now

I am getting too many tele marketing calls from hdfc ,standard chartered, etc...I have complained to vodafone customer care abt the same ,but vodafone does little to care about such complaints...well I want to know the legal process to initiate an action against vodafone for repeatedly failing to prevent leaking of phone numb thru their sales rep!!

I am sure the data is shared by vodafone exec!!

my name is harjit and no is [protected].i wanted to activate 1 gb data plan.i saw the activation code from there site.when i dialled *444*98# and free sec package got activated.i dont need it.i need data plan.its there fault wrong code has been put on there website.i emailed them also they said nothing can happen now.they have put wrong codes on there site.rs 98 has been deducted from my account
Cheating at vodafone -- i placed a request of number porting on 13/05/2011 but still that has not been done and after my request for money refund

these people dont seem to refund back my amount and just ask me to go to the unorganised vodafone outlet which i have visited more than 50 times

This is for your information that cell no. - [protected] (prepaid connection ) was disconnected first without any information without any reason. Secondly that number was reactivated on 3rd. Dec. 2012 with new SIM but that number was not activated till date. I have talked with customer alot of times ( Talk with Ashwani, Jagdeep& so other persons by cell no. - [protected]).They said this will be activated after 4 hours but no result found.My lot of charges incurred & I am suffering from last 16-17 days. This number is use from last 4-5 years . Pls take a necessary action on urgent basis. Otherwise tell me ur decision.
