    I am using vodafone network from 2005, as prepaid customer. when it was new the service was excellent. Now they become very big network and not respect the customers. Last year i migrated that number into postpaid and the billing also good, at last they increased my bill upto 10000. but my credit limit was 5000.
    where in prepaid if we are using internet for 1GB, If it finish then msg will come mentioned that 'the package has finish and kindly recharge your number'. But in postpaid only you will receive 'you have reached your credit limit kindly make an intermittent payment to continue our service.' But no msg on internet package if we make some payment before billing and the final bill will give shock the bill amount increased because of internet. If we know the charge is increasing coz of internet then we will stop working on that or else i will increase package on next time. But they didnt inform and increased bill amount.
    Even though i paid that amount and migrated that number into prepaid on jan 5th coz that day is the bill raising day, so i closed postpaid. The condition they said for this migration is “ I have to pay the full amount without any pending and the system also didn’t work if have any pending”. So I paid full amount and collected receipt.
    After one month i received a bill again for Rs 600~. And i asked in customer care, they said if you are closed that number then no need to pay. So i forget about that. Again One month later i received one bill with 1700Rs. And i received some phone calls from customer care, I said give me clarity on the bill then i will pay. But nobody came to me and explained about that.
    Today i received a call from speed mail courier around 4:00PM. they said they searching my address for last two day, and trying my number from morning coz they have to deliver a court summon letter in my address within two days and they didn't find my address. If they not deliver before 5:00PM they have to hand over that courier in to the police station. Then she said if you want to avoid this problem, call the lawyer number which mentioned on the cover of that summon courier. And that lawyer threatened me on some section’s of case will put on me, I should not call him directly since he is govt lawyer for this reason also he will put case on me. So to avoid these problems he said me to pay the bill amount immediately.
    So how they are giving torture to a customer for atleast this 1700RS. Anybody can understand 1700Rs is not big amount who paid 10000Rs in a month bill. why can't they explain me and take this amount rather they giving torture and threatening a customer who using their network for 7 years. Good lesson should not stick on anything for life time. Very worst service.

      Hello,

      My bill for Feb was Rs. 2000/- when I checked the reason for a high bill, I was informed that I have some service activated for STD on my no. I had not asked for any service to be activated. I then got to know that the service was activated from October. The manager named Kiran at the Viman Nagar branch confirmed that I had not requested for any services and sent a request for waiver to the head office.

      Now, they tell me that they can't waive off any amount and I have to pay Rs. 3900/- to reactivate my services. The vodafone collections team is harassing as well as threatening me by sending demand notice of making a police complaint.

      I do not mind paying my bill provided all the charges for that STD service is waived off. I will not pay a single rupee for something I did not ask for as I do not have any STD usage.

      Request you to please look into this asap.

        This is subhash Sharma and i am a user of Vodafone postpaid connection.

        My complaint is below:-

        I have called your toll free no on dated 04.04.2012 between 1Pm to 1:30 Pm somebody picked up my phone and i spoken to him regarding internet connection on my phone he explained me about your scheme and i have chosen {198 plan 3GB} after one day i have got a massage that 2G plan activated on your this no [protected] i was happy but i don't have GPRS setting on my phone because i am using Samsung Android then again i have called then she told me we can not send GPRS Setting to you because of android but we will set it manually but nothing happened i have called more then 5 times. finally somebody of your customer care told me tick on use packet data i have clicked and my internet was again working good but same i could used before but my query is my Sim balance should not be deduct he told me don't worry now 198 plan is activated on your phone your Sim balance will not deduct. i was happy
        But i have checked my balance before go to bed in the night ans found 931INR again i have checked in the morning and found 1073.63

        I don't know what is happening over there which kind of software you have fixed. we don't have time to call u again and again because i am also working with a company i am besting my time and money but not getting proper service.

        Its my last mail to you if i will get good response from you then well and good but if not then will switch the brand. and i will also not pay the extra amount at any cost.

        Vodafone Live — An Additional Deduction of Amount without informing

        hello sir'
        this is Bipin shukla using Vodafone services since last 3 yrs. but right now i'm having a problem of overcharged billing.My mobile no. is [protected] and resident of Kanpur,Uttar pradesh. and when i subscribed Unlimited net facility with a charge of 97 Rs. then i got an unwanted reduction of 20 Rs. then i asked to the customer regarding the same then they couldn't give me any satisfactory answer . and in spite of telling me any solution they told me to try another number for the rectification . but now today the result is that I've lost an amount of 99 rs. and for that i got only 1 SMS that ":your MMS services for your mobile has been deactivated". then suddenly I've checked that my mobile balance (From Main Balance)has been reduced and it's now -65 Rs(negative Amount of Sixty Five rupees). then again i asked to customer care regarding the same then they told me that while surfing on net you have selected an option but when i asked them what kind of option that was then they were unable to tell me because i've not selected any kind of option. basically m,u problem is that once when i've subscribed a scheme and when i've been charged of 97 Rs for the same scheme then why they are deducting the balance continuously. pls solve this problem and inform me accordingly. otherwise i'll have to inform TRAI regardin this cheating

        Vodafone — Without informing deduct the amount

        I having Vodafone prepaid connection for last 10 months no. was [protected], since I am getting good service from them,
        But on[protected], they deduct sum of Rs.30/- from my balance for job alert, though I didn’t activate that service I called the customer care there was no proper response, I am really getting disappoint with the below guys with their answer.
        1) Mr. Srinivasan said “call after some time now our superior busy with other work “(he forget that they are there for work for us)
        2) Mr. Sathish – while talking disconnect the phone
        3) Mr. Ranga – “call tomorrow our superior already left(I don’t want to speak their superior I want reason that why they deduct the amount)
        4) Mr. Rani Priya said that “pls stay on the line” ( I have wait 20 mints then but there were no response so I disconnect the call)
        5) Mr. Sakthivel (Floor Supervisor) – I asked “why u deduct” but he said sorry “we can’t do anything we will not deduct again”.
        Read their responsible answer. See how they are treating the customer. Rs. 30/- not a big money but I wont allow any one the deceive me. So I through out the sim card and I refer to my relation and family circle to avoid to us VODAFONE net work.

          I have been using the vodafone connection for past 3 years. Last week i had recharge Rs.201 with full talk time. My account was updated with that amount. Today morning i saw my account balance at 10.17am, it had more that Rs 100. I tried to call my friends number at 11.57am, that time its said that no enough balance in my account. Then i dialled *111# and i got a message saying that account balance is 0.00.

          Could you please check what happend to my balance?

          basically they automatically set thier computers to deduct some money from customers.

          u do one thing just call them and tel them or get quarrel with them and then they refund ur amount.

              By mistake dialled *567*810# and got a message saying "your mci WILL BE activated in sometime"
              Before Vodafon could activate that service, I immediately messaged CAN MCI to 144 to deactivate this service.
              The service deactivation message was received, but to my surprise Rs 30 were immediately deducted as well.
              This is ridiculous. As no confirmation message for SERVICE ACTIVATION was given, but within 2 mins 30 rupees were deducted for service not provided.
              For god sake, PLEASE CHARGE FOR WHAT YOU PROVIDE.
              I accept my error of making that call, but immediately i made amends for that too.
              Kindly give an explanation of this wonderful mechanism on which your billing works and reimburse my amount, or number portability is the only option im left with.

                1st of March 2012 mobile symbol shows invalid sim after i went vodafone store, they told the sim got damed due some technical reason and given one new sim and told that sim will be activated with 48 hrs, more than 7 days the sim not activated, again i went to vodafone store they have given again one new sim and told that will be activated with in 1 hr, after that i called my number the cal will be reached to unknown person, after that only i know unknown person is using my number with out my knowledge, again i went to vodafone store and informed to them, they told that we have find out the unknown person using this number the number will be activated with in 1 hr but still number not activated.

                hello,

                I am a happy user of vodafone since many months, suddenly on this saturday in evening i got a sms asking to submit my updated docs at vodafone stores and on sunday i got the call also for the same. Addressing it as my duty, I submitted my docs on monday at sant nagar store near nehru place, delhi. the guy also gave me ref. no. but on tuesday in afternoon my connection was discontinued inspite of completing all formalities.
                Please do the needful and restart my connection. I even cant call customer care from my fone.

                  I use two corporate post paid connections. I have one of them Vodafone Corporate ( Post Paid ) mobile connection with the number[protected]. But the for billing period[protected] to[protected], I was shocked to see the billing error charges unnecessarily for the GPRS Rs. 144.1/- for the date 12/03/2012 and Rs. 1042.3/- for the 13/03/2012. I never did use the GPRS itself on the mobile.

                  When mailed to corpcare.[protected]@vodafone.com worst to see with the reply saying that I had used the mobile for the GPRS .!

                  I find that this as the worst ever billing service from the Vodafone almost in the past 3 years of billing cycle for the number[protected] during the period[protected] to[protected] with the Erroneous billing charges against the GPRS.

                    I already submitted various compliant regarding to stop the generation of bill and deactivation of account of mobile number [protected] but i am sorry to say that no action taken by them .i once again requested that please take matter seriously and stop the generation of bill.I paid all the due amount .
                    I have taken this vodafone post paid cug connection on Nov.2011 and surrender the same on Nov.2011.This connection provided me at AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF INDIA CCS AIRPORT LUCKNOW by VODAFONE representative.I surrender this connection on Nov 2011 when VODAFONE representative comes at AIRPORT then he said you have some amount due when you clear due amount then your surrendering request will be consider .I paid due amount just vide bill number 895710 dt. 12.01.12 to representative after then he said your surrendering rquest will be accepted but bill generation is continue.In this regard i submitted spped post letter to vodafone Nodal Officer Ms.Kanika Dubey for deactivation and to stop the generation of bill vide spped post no. EU[protected]IN and various email to vodafone cusomer care and its Nodal Officer from nov 2011 to now till date but no action by them.So i request to you please take urgent action to stop the generation of bill.

                        Vodafone — Wrong commitment

                        I am using a vodafone prepaid connection and i planned to convert it into postpaid.I had given all the relative documents to vodafone Vasant priya store and had request them to send the agent for verificaton on weekend (sat-Sun).But no one came .Then I had given my official address proof with my residential proof from my office and they commit me that it will done. But nothing happen.I had receive call from vodafone that they send someone at evening to my home but no one came nor in home neither in office.Every time I call in 111 every caller even commit but result is zero.They are saying they visit my home but no one there.I don't undestand what to do.Is it my fault that I worked in Day shift.Itt's now almost 20days.Please suggest.

                        This is regarding of complaint to misguide me to changing the plan from prepaid to post paid.

                        History of case

                        I was using prepaid connection ([protected]) carried with two year incoming free plan. After that I received a call from your executive to change the plan from prepaid to post paid and he ensured me in case you will not like this plan, you can convert once again from post paid to prepaid with your previous plan ( free two years incoming plan ) I was agreed and paid 250 Rs cash. He given me cash receipts with new SIM of postpaid, unfortunately I lost my mobile phone with my prepaid connection than I went to dwarka customer care office to register a complained of lost of SIM card and they issued me a new prepaid SIM and ensured me to return the money of 250 and register a request to refund of this money because your executive misguide me. That time my prepaid connection was going fine and I cancelled to change the plan from prepaid to post paid. After two days my prepaid SIM was closed and post paid was active which is very bad experience to me.

                        My issues

                        1) Why your executive ensured me if you not like the plan, you can convert once again from postpaid to prepaid with you previous prepaid plan. ( Two years incoming free plan)

                        2) Why the hutch shop of dwarka executive raised a request for refund of RS 250 with issue a new prepaid SIM with the cost of 99RS.

                        3) My total cost if effective 250 +99 although I am not satisfied with your plan.

                        Issue how can we solve

                        My prepaid connection with previous plan would be returned with refund of Rs 250.

                        Let me know if you need any further clarification for same in case my issue not be solve from your end than i will go to the nodal officer.

                        I would like to bring to the kind knowledge of your goodself that I had paid an amount of Rs.250 for New Connection on Vodafone Postpaid dated 22/11/2010 which was Postpaid plan and the Vodafone Dealer told me the scheme and then I was agree and paid the amount. Before activation of the postpaid plan, I got a call from Vodafone Postpaid department and told the scheme for my confirmation and acknowledgement. At the time of call I found that the scheme which was going to activate was not same which I approved. Therefore I requested them to do not activate the number because of dealer made me fool. Then after I told Vodafone representative that give back my money and he told that after a month it will be dispatched at your home address by post.

                        Now 3 months later I did not get any amount by cheque or cash. I have a payment slip which was given by vodafone.

                          I have one post paid connection ([protected]) and I have been using this connection since last 6 months. Now, I would like to migrate this post paid connection into Pre paid. I have visited VODAFONE at Ahinsa circle store today with all required documents (Identity Proof, Local Address Proof, One Passport size photograph) but they have refused to accept the same by saying that I need to submit one permananet residential proof which I did not have right now.
                          My question is that while taking the post paid customer 6 months back I did not submit any permanent address proof neither I was told to do so.

                          I am Bhagesh Chauhan. I am using one of vodafone postpaid connection ( [protected]) from last 4 year. When i took the number it was a corporate number. I was getting some basic benefit as per tariff.
                          Last month i thought to change my operator and for that i send a message from my number just to get UPC (Code). After geeting my code same report was generated to my operator end and they tried to retain me by offering some extra benefits in my basic plan. The plan which they offered was 1000 local minute to any number and 100 STD minute to any number free for next 3 months without paying any extra amount. This plan was offered to me in the month of April and it was supposed to applicable from 1st May 2011 to 31st July 2011.
                          Yesterday when i called to customer care i was socked to know that no benefits was given to me till 15th May 2011. i asked for escalation as i was talking to one of agent and she tried to escalate but my call was disconnected. i again try to call and ask for escalation and second time my call was being escalated and then i spoke to one of the team leader. but again she was not even able to understand my concern and was in the hurry to finish my call. she told me that i'll get a call back within 24hrs, though the call was not made to me for the concern which i escalated, again i was asked why i want to switch my operator which was asked in the month of April 11.
                          Now my concern is that if they are not able to provide me benefits than why they offered me those extra benefits, if they actally want thier customer to be with them, then they need to provide good services not false committment.
                          One more concern:- DND service is activated on my number and after that i am getting maximum calls and sms on daily basis from different telecome company.
                          this is again a issue with my operator as i dont want a single promotional sms and call.

                          I would like to share my agnst and frustration I have against Vodafone AP. I have been a subscriber of Vodafone Hyderabad circle for the last 2 years and have been making payments on time. I was due to pay Rs1700 towards my monthly bill with the due date of June 1,2011.

                          For the last 5 days I have been receiving calls from the collection agencies once in every 2 hours asking me to make the payment.
                          I had already made the online payment a day before the due date (May 31,2011) and the Transaction Id is "[protected]". Despite of making the payment before the due date, I am still receiving calls from Vodafone to make the payment.

                          This has been a practise with Vodafone as once in a quarter I have to face this ordeal, hence I would like to bring this to your attention that Vodafone has been harrassing me and I would like to understand what can I do as a customer to protect my interests.
                          I also strongly feel that I should switch over to a different service provider, but I would like to understand the process of making my complaint reach to the higher ups in Vodafone. Appreciate your guidance.

                          I have ported my number [protected] from reliance to vodafone.I had submitted all the documents properly.They have stopped my connection 5 times till now and asking to visit that gallery for the reason their verification department cant find my address.I have been to their gallery 4 times to submit the documents and have waited for more then 45 minutes each time.Height is there my other vodafone number comes to the same address on time from last 4 years and for this number they cant find the address and i receive documents and material regularly from all over the world on this address from 1964.The other number whose bill comes on time is [protected].Kindly do some thing for this harrasment and unprofessional managemnt of vodafone.I am suffering my business also as my line is disconnected now and then and it also effect my goodwill

                              This is really a worst service experience.
                              I had called up customer 111 from my existing number 96199XXXXX . for a new sim card.

                              The executive was sent to collect the documents. He also collected a sum of Rs. 300 from me. which i guess normally its not there for an add-on card.
                              However when i asked for receipt he said that would reflect in bill.

                              He gave me a sim with number H-5 post[protected] . ..

                              now as on 3rd april 2012. when i am complaining that my number is not activated.
                              It comes to my knowledge that the sim given to me is the wrong one
                              My new number [protected] has been activated on a sim which is not with me.
                              Even the contact numbers given are not mine.
                              This is a fraud done by vodafone executive.

                              Over all its now 6th day and i am still following up vodafone galleries and guys. with no output.. all in vain.
                              I had repetitively asked vodafone to trace the guy who has filled up the form but they fail to do so...
                              Even the numbers given on the portal for nodal officers etc arent functional
                              Its seems vodafone lacks a grievance cell in its departments.
                              Above that the executive on 111 asks me to visit a gallery instead of co-ordination and searching out where my sim is.

                                Hope someone from Vodafone is listening and taking corrective actions

                                Please think 100 time before you are planning to buy a broadband/internet based service. The service is sub-contracted to MTS where Vodafone have absolutely no control. I have purchased a dongle from Vodafone store in Koramanagla (near Rejeh. They are mis-selling the product. They insisted on buying the prepaid dongle citing few problems with the postpaid plans. Also indicated that in near future one can easily switch to post paid plans with 24 hours lead time without any issues. They also indicated the facility of onlines recharge within Karnataka circle for prepaid dongle.

                                I started facing problems with the Dongle service with respect to no facility to recharge online. The store person in Koramangala indicated that they
                                have no clue on online recharge as it is MTS related issues. I requested him to switch me to the postpaid plan, the surpise item is the store is now saying there is no such facility. Why the hell you tell something and switch your statement and misell things.
                                The bigger problems is cheating with the customer in terms of mis-selling the products that does not support either online payment nor does the ability to switch to post paid plans. Another frustration is telling the aspect of MTS problem and not Vodafone problem. Why the hell, your had a tie up with MTS if you don’t know how to manage business sub-contracting. And why the end consumer has to suffer for your problems??????

                                For the Vodafone team, my Netcruine number is [protected].

                                Bigger issue is ongoing cheating with respect to no action on recharge even after accepting the payment. I had done my online recharge of the above netcrusie (after the store told me that the online payment service is up and running and I need not come to store for simple recharge). I had done the recharge for INR 801 using the online banking service. The details are as folows
                                ref no. MCIT[protected]… payment date 25-Mar, Payment amount = 801, Mode= Citibank credit card

                                Even after payment, the recharge of net cruise dongle has not happened. Tried calling helping several times, as expected the standard answer, it is problem at MTS end and will resolved asap. Even after 15 days, neither my dongle got recharged…nor my money got refunded. The bigger surpise is no one os even bothered to call back (even after refistering the complaints..the helpline just talks staanrds lingo saying someone will reach you in next 24 hours, your money will get refuneded in 7 days, your connection will be activated soon…. etc etc what the hell is happening with Vodafone?????????

                                If this is what is customer service, and customer treatment, I would doubt how many loyal customers you will retain. I had 3 other postpaid connections with Vodafone, and based on my experience, I am thinking of switching to another provider.
                                Hope someone is listening. New buyers, please be cautious before buying NetCruise or any internet service.

                                  This is Yogesh, My number is [protected]. I am using Vodafone postpaid telecommunication services for last one year. But in January 2012, I faced 198 extra charges for the services which was not taken by me. I raised this complaint at vodafone customer care center (Sec-18 Noida). At that time Miss Shivani(mat on 26/02/2012) who was looking at my complaint (Reff No.=[protected] promised that the extra amount i.e 198 will be deducted with in 72 hours and i will be informed by call from her and from vodfone center. But I didn't get any communication from vodafone services. In-fact I was again charged for 198 in February for the service which was not taken by me. I again visited to the Vodafone store(Sec-18 Noida) this time I mat to Shah Faisal(mat on 24/03/2012), who also promised me that the amount will be deducted with in 72 hours and he or vodafone will inform me about bill details within 72 but didn't get any communication from there side. I also told them due to these extra charges I am not paying the bill due to which I am facing late bill payment charges also. This is happening due to no communication from there side. Even I raised all these things to Miss Neelam via phone call she also promised me to solve this issue but again the same issue . I didn't get any communication after a promise and no amount is deducted from bill.Now extra bill amount is over 500 which is un-affordable for customer because they robbing me directly.
                                  Note: Due to these extra charges I lost my mental peace and lott's of money.
                                  Hope You will look into this matter so that I can get justice and correct billed amount.

                                    I am a user of Vodafone Prepaid connection since last 4 years. But since last 1 year I am finding lot of difficulties to maintain the service of Vodafone. I have recharged my no. with Rs. 555pe 600 on 3rd April, 2012 and the customer care executive also confirmed that Rs. 555/- has been credited in my a/c instantly & rest Rs. 45/- will get credited in next 4 hours. But till time, I have not received Rs. 45/- in my account. & now they are saying that I will not get this amount as this offer is not available now. But before doing this online recharge, I have checked their website & there Vodafone gave me the option to recharge 555pe600.

                                    In the attached document also , you can see 555pe600 offer is providing by Vodafone & they are asking to fill up my details to recharge this amount.

                                    When the offer is available in their website & they are giving the option to recharge, then how can they deny to credit Rs. 45/-.

                                      This is an VERY BAD experience I am having from Vodafone. Here are the details -

                                      I was using Vodafone number - [protected] with IBM corporate plan. I have received my December'11 bill. When I checked the details I was shocked by getting 513.78 bill. Then I checked it in detail and I found that it is having 259.78 as GPRS charges. I never asked to activate GPRS facility and it has been activated automatically. Without my permission they have activated GPRS facility. I have paid all the calling charges.

                                      I raised a complain against this with Ref # [protected] but it was not resolved. And GPRS charges are still there.
                                      After this I have disconnected the number only because of this CHEATING done by VODAFONE. Now I am continuously getting calls from Legal deppt to pay this charges (which is now something around Rs. 514).

                                      I guess this is what the procedure Vodafone is applying for making money - Activate GPRS without permission then apply huge charges on it..if anyone accepts it then get it and if anyone deny and disconnect then send a notice.

                                      I have escalated this issue till highest level but the whole system is CHEAT. So nobody will look into it.
