[Resolved] Vodafone DND — Register on DND, still getting promotional SMSes | |||
It is over 45 days since i registered for DND. I was told within 30 days the promotional SMSes would stop, but even now am getting at least 15 messages on a daily basis and a couple of calls every week. I have complained three times to Vodafone and they tell just wait a few days and it would be effective, but it is almost 2 months now and still the SMSes continue. This India, where the consumer does not have any rights. The consumer pays for something, but the product or service provider run their business the way they want. Coz, they know, it's India... Nothing will happen to this country, no good.
Vodafone could've done something if they wanted. But they don't want to. They get money by selling their customer details to these tele-calling companies. Every time you complain, they'll just console you by giving you a link or email address to send your complain; that's it.
