[Resolved]  Vodafone Essar East Limited — Charging for False Flash SMS service

Sir,

I have taken one GPRS data plan from Vodafone on 05.04.11. This connection I was used through USB device for DATA services( INTERNET). According to my plan I opt Rs 599.00 for monthly rental in which I can upload or download with no limit (unlimited). But I got surprised after 2 days when they temporarily stop my services and forced me to pay a sum of Rs 1000.00.
Again I was surprised when I have got my Bill dated 21.04.11 of an amount Rs 368.58 which includes a charge for Rs 10.00 plus tax for making 2 nos of call on *228 numbers and another Rs 15 plus tax for Downloads (Caller Tune).
I was using this connection through my USB as data service and lodge a complain in Vodafone store situated at Park street and they informed me it will be taken care.
During the month of may'11 I received several SMS from the number 12320 regarding jokes, helth tips etc. and I have informed the Customer Care on [protected] from my mobile number [protected] ( Tata Docomo) but they informed me that there system is not showing any thing about it and in my plan Vodafone Mobile Connect @899 only VF Mobile Connect is activated.
But I was shocked when I found my bill details on 22.05.11 that Vodafone charged me Rs 2565.00 for making SMS on Special number. And then I download my usage details where I found apart from my data usage there are 855 SMS special number and 5 SMS local which I have not done.
I lodge a complaint against this false bill with a Ref no. [protected] and talk with the Nodal Officer ( [protected]) and on 24.05.11 I have submitted the details in hard copy in Vodafone store at Park street with a reference number[protected] dated 24.05.11.
Again I was informed this thing to the Nodal Officer and Appellate Officer.
mean while the connection is stoped from 19.05.11.
One thing according to my first complain regarding the bill of 21.04.11 vodafone made an -11.03 Adjustment (Rs 10.00 plus tax for making 2 nos of call on *228 numbers)

So sir please suggest me your kind advice and where I can make a compliant against Vodafone about their fault.

Vodafone Essar East Ltd — Unnecessary harassment for dues

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Rahul Roy from Salt Lake Kolkata. I had Vodafone postpaid connection bearing no [protected] which I got from my previous Organization ICICI Prudential Life as corporate connection. I requested them to deactivate the connection many times. In spite of repeated request They took time and deactivated it after 1 month. Now they are demanding rental of Rs.679.23 (Including interest @12% p.a. & fine) that month which I have not use it. They sent me a threat mail of their advocate Mr. Sudip Banerjee mentioning that If I will not pay they will take legal action against me(Under Indian Penal code, 1860). I have not use it at all and why I will pay for that?? I want justice. Please help me out.

Vodafone Essar East Ltd — Exchanging SIM documents while new connection

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have purchased a new SIM of VODAFONE with telephone No [protected] on 15/05/2009 from - The Mobile Store, Essar Telecom Retail Ltd., 64A, Hemanta Basu Sarani, Beside Stephen House, Dalhousie, Kolkata (PH:[protected]. Now I came to know from Vodafone customer care that this mobile number i.e., [protected] does not belong to me as someone else’s documents has been submitted against it. Your customer care executive says that nothing can be done and I need to find out the person by asking from the shop from where I had purchased my Sim. They further added that they can't even give me the name or address but I need to submit a no-objection letter from that person without knowing him or her. But the mobile shop told that they have send the correct documents but Vodafone's executive had entered it wrongly in their data base. Now what should I as I am facing this kind of hardship after genuinely purchasing the lifetime sim from The Mobile Store with valid bill and after paying VAT, as no one is willing to help me now. I do not know that my name and documents has been entered against which No.? Whose No.? Who is using it and whether the person is a criminal or antisocial or wherever he has made call with my No and document?? Please help me and sought out the issue immediately as I can't continue with some others sim and for this I have already purchased an Airtel’s sim. Now I am thinking to destroy my Vodafone sim and not using it any more inspite of topping it up with high balance.

Vodafone Essar East Limited — Barring outgoing call after payment made through online

I Subhadip Dutta and my Vodafone number is [protected]. I have made the payment on 15th June 2009, but they have disconnected line on 16th June. And when I have talked to their customer care ([protected]), Nodal desk ([protected]) & Zonal Desk ([protected]), I received rude Behavior from Mr. Arijit of Nodal desk.
So it my request to give suggestion to me customer like us

Vodafone Essar East Ltd — EXCESS BILLING

I applied for diconnection of my post paid mobile connection on 7th November,2009
and my line was diconnected on 13th Nov,2009. Hence my bill for next two cycle (i.e
15th of month to14th of next month) came to me and and payment is claimed. Today
on 19th,Jan 2010 I pay them the said amount of Rs 516/- after deducting Rs 500/- of
security deposit ( Bill amount Rs 1016/- - Rs 500/- = Rs 516/- ). I like to know that
after disconnection of service how the provider charge the bill to his customer?

VODAFONE ESSAR LTD — Disconnect the line

Respected Sir,
My vodafone connection ([protected]) suddenly disconnected by the company
without any intimation.
Therefore I am unable to communicate.
Please take a necessary action against this complain.
Really the nodal and Vodafone Customer care are doing their best . When I contact to vodafone store Customer care at Parkstreet kolkata and [protected] they says that the matter is looking by Nodal and I contact the Nodal on the number [protected] she says the matter is loking by vodafone store Customer care at Parkstreet kolkata; How funny!!!

Vodafone Essar East Ltd — Disconnect Line

My 2G [protected] by MNP apply for 3G to Vodafone at Vodafone Mini Stores R B Telecom,205/1NSC Bose Road Kolkata 700040 on 10/50/11 but I got the connection on 25/5/11. After that disconnect line on 27/5/11. I contact with Vodafone Stores 105 S P Mukherjee, Kolkata 700026, they told that documents are not received.I contact with R B Telecom [protected], they are submitted on 18/5/11. Then I contact with Nodal Officer Mrs Dipika Majumder [protected] she told as same.After that reopen my connection on 30/5/11. After that disconnect line on 5/6/11. I contact with Vodafone Stores on11/ 6/11 they told that documents are not received. So Who are the Responbsible for that? Why I suffer for that?

Another shocking thing I have found today while I have downloaded my itemised bill for [protected]. There are again false SMS charges and most shocking part is I found there are a usage details for VF mobile connect during the period from 20.05.11 to 23.05.11 while vodafone sustained the connection on 19.05.2011 due to usages charges goes above credit limit( R 1500.00).
So I have a doubt that anybody from vodafone are hacking my simcard and using it to generate the billing amount heigher and heigher. Refer to my previous complaint several times I was contacted, informed and e-mailed customer care.
Refer to my mail on 05/06/2011 Kankana Chakraborty from Vodafone care informed me through a mail having The Service Registration number assigned for the correspondence is[protected] that all the Special SMS charges have been correctly charged in invoice dated 21/05/11. All SMS has been charged to 52425 @3/SMS for Vodafone Flash services. During the period 21/04/11 to 20/05/11, all usages were originated from the handset with unique IMEI number [protected] (first 14 digits) against Vodafone number [protected].
So again I maild her on 07/06/2011 stated that the mentioned IMEI number belongs to a USB device manufactured by HUAWEI not belongs to any handset as she mentioned and ask her if she can arrange any technicl inspection for my USB device (Which she mentioned as handset) and my laptop I am agree to take them for inspection to any of their kolkata address.

Then she again maild me as follows

We are in receipt of your e-mail dated 07/06/11, regarding flash SMS charges on your data card number [protected].



Based on your visit and discussion with our technical support executive Mr. Musaddique Hossain, kindly get in touch with him at [protected] and visit our office premises accordingly to complete the necessary testing and checking exercises in order to identify the issue.

The Service Registration number assigned for this correspondence is[protected].

And accordingly I visited to the mentioned address and meet with Mr. Musaddique Hossain on 16/06/11 and 20/06/11 for their investigation and she again active my internate connection from 16.05.2011 which ware stoped since 19/05/2011 .


Now today I found these shocking things.


Please Advice necessary things to be done from my side.
