Vodafone — Getting ad sms,calls and flash message at midnight!!!

This is a terrible service where we are being punished to buy thier service!!! I called up customer care and told my complaint but u know to deactivate these services I would be paying them 3Rs. I said OK no big deal..but inspite of deactivating I am receiving these mails in more frequency than ever please help!!
I'm having the same problem with the Flash messages constantly coming in. Vodafone Care has no idea of what they are (Flash messages) so call me an for claiming so.

Someone sue them.

I am getting unwanted message and calls from this number and black mailing.i want to give a police complaint.So i need the address and details about this number.
vodafone has put the Flash message services for all the postpaid numbers by default without intimation to the customer. these messages are not for free of cost. customer will be charged with 3 Rs if clicks OK. These messages are very much disturbing. and to deactivate this service, the customers are being charged 3Rs unnecessarily. This kind of services should be stopped. Every company should respect the interest of the customers before burdening them with unnecessary default services. Please take necessary action against such service providers and save the customers.
I keep getting these annoying "Vodafone Flash" messages

They eat up my battery life,
which is why I want these disabled.

I did not activate these, there is no option on my handset to activate these,
and so there isn't any option to deactivate these,

Vodafone.in website also does not list a way to deactivate these.

Vodafone must provide an opt-in mechanism or disable this "FREE" service, for everyone
You can disable it on ur own!
Goto Vodafone services
and in Vodafone flash -> goto activation
u will get 2 options : activate and de-activate
select de-activate n u will stop receiving those flash messages...

Airtel Post paid connection — Getting unnecessary promotional SMS and calls

Getting unnecessary promotional SMS and calls even after (45 days above) registering in to DND disturb list
I was going NUTS because of these flash messages. I had already activated DND. THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT GUYS DIDNT HAVE A CLUE what it was - such . I tried the suggestion by Rahul punjabi. I hope they dont charge us to disable flash.

If this doesn't work I'm jumping to Airtel for good.

I completely agree with Santosh unncessary inclusions and there is no repose to this. At the end of the day we are the ones as customers to bear the Brunt of something unnecessary something that was never asked 4 in the 1st Place.
Services are really turning out 2 be appauling.
Those who dont want the services have to send an SMS to 1909 in the format;
START DND and the services will be deactivated. But God Knows for How long and how many times they will keep charging Rs. 3 from eac of their customers and make a banquet out of it.

I am a vodafone customers and have 2 cell phones since past 2 years, recently I noticed a SMS charge of Rs. 12 and I had no idea about this charge so I discovered (by calling customer care) it was about flash service which I never signed up or opted for or signed an agreement

I am not getting credit back, I am disappointed with vodafone, I am filing a complaint with CERC Ahmedabad to take this matter with vodafone

In SE phones go to Entertainment-> Vodafone Services->FLASH!->Activation->De-activate. This worked for me. In Nokia phones i think the Service msgs should be disabled. I still dont know how to deactivate those FLASH msgs on my Samsung phone(SGH-C160). Before I figured out how to deactivate those FLASH msgs they were a big nuisance and drained my phone battery life quickly. Vodafone should give a way to deactivate through sms. They shouldn't have activated without our permission in the first place(FREE or NOT). And DND doesnot work for the FLASH msgs because I tried and I still kept receiving them. I dont know if I was charged for the deactivation.
I am a new postpaid user(also a old prepaid user). Vodafone 111 doesn't work, it says "...we are happy to help you" then goes blank. The call isn't cut but there is no response after that.

Hi i need to inform about this bloody vodafone....
my Father using vodafone for last two years...
we are using nokia 1100...
we don't want to change my number for that only we used that sucking network..
Now indian govt made blocking the china mobile..
if the people using china mobile connection intruppted..
But these stop the connection of mine...

you need to produce the proof again..
how many time i will surrender my proof....
even if they need proof means they need to inform....

and he gave this number to his official for getting his all the allowance and pf etc...
For giving the proof to that also we need to travel 180km...
their is no vodafone store in our district and the district surround as.....
so i request all the people try to use Indian network whatever ...

Vodafone — Unnecessary charging for alerts

For last 3 days, daily I am receiving cricket match alerts for T20 world cup from Vodafone. I have not subscribed to it. However, daily I am being charged Rs.5 per match. Since there are 2 matches per day, I am losing Rs.10. When I called up the call centre, the person refused to accept the fault and when I wanted to escalate to the next level, kept the phone on hold and finally disconnected.
It is really cheap of vodafone to bring up this flash messages thing.I cant even disable it on my phone(nokia 1661) as there is no option for sim services/vodafone services.My whole battery life is getting eaten up and I lost about 50rs before realizing what was actually going on.
I cant believe vodafone has taken up such a cheap step to sheat its customers

I was very new to vodafone in gujarat circle. I had purcheses a new Vodafone no [protected]. After two days my 21 rupees diducted by compamy. When I had told to customer care they told me that this was due to Vodafone flash service seen in my mobile.
So kind attention on my following .
1) Vodafone flash service is the vodafone function which was not clearly told to customer at the time of purchasing sim card.
2) Why vodafone bydefault keep this services “on” in new sim card.
3) Another company like BSNL does not keep this services “on”.

So pl do need ful to prevent this type of cheating by vodafone.and pl. tell vodafone to give my money back.

Vodafone — "FLASH!" Services

Dear Sirs,

I would like TRAI to introduce legislation making it mandatory for telecom operators to provide monthly account statements for all prepaid customers, either free online or by payment of a fee in hard copy.

Further I would like to complain against "FLASH!" services on Vodafone. This is activated by default on Vodafone SIM cards and is a paid service which causes the consumer to loose money without any warning.

Agree with all! Vodafone by default has pathetic customer service in Delhi ( by far, the place where i have experienced..) and now these aggravating flash msgs ! huh.. seriously.. the only better service left to go for is now AIRTEL .. and i'm making the switch.. just wish the number portability comes soon!.. :)

Vodafone — Giving Marketing Calls telling will get services which are not available

My name is Alex (Mb Number [protected]) from Bangalore. On Dec 17 th (around 4:17 pm) i got a call from vodafone marketing department telling if i activate GPRS service for Rs95/-, I will get a download limit o[censored]p to 4GB with speed of 192Kbps. I asked her to activate the service if and only if i get a speed of 192 Kbps. She said i will get it surely, other wise i can give a complaint to 198 (Vodafone Complaint receiving number). I am not getting the speed. I called to 198- 5 times , explained the issue to 5 representatives, waited for 45 mins, to get it connected to a supervisor. All these people said there is no such service provided by vodafone which gives 192 kbps speed.

I just want to bring these kind of calls in-front of everyone and i just want to know why these people are giving such kind of calls which is indirectly a method of cheating customers. How much money they must have made by giving such kind of wrong information to customers, imagine the amount they have collected by charging Rs 95 from one customer.

I got the call from the number [protected], and the lady talked to me told her name is Nalika.
The supervisor, to whom i talked told he will inform this to the marketing dept, I asked him to give a complaint number. He said if i make this a complaint i will take min 7 working days to get the process initiated.

I am hoping he will inform this issue to the marketing department and get back to me with in 48 hrs as he told me.

I also request TRAI to make some kind of regulations which can control these kind of cheating calls from the service provider itself.

I lost Rs 95/-. How many others must have lost money like this. I don't know.

Folks, those having Nokia sets and not seeing Vodafone services in the phone menu can try the following instructions.

1. Goto Menu --> Hutch Plus
2. Select the option "Hutch Alive"
3. Select option "Activation"
4. It will give you 2 options, Activate or De-activate. Choose De-activate.
5. Click OK and restart your mobile
6. Voila!

mobile user/vodafone — annoying by calls

I am getting a call from a vodafone Gujrat, this person is continue calling me and whenver i pick the call he doesnt speak at all and after some time, he will start calling again. This is so uncomfortable and i dont want such calls.

Also it takes more than 10 mins before customer care exec picks up n speaks - AND they are charging 0.50 paise per 3 mins !!!!!!!!!!

Hi I am aslo facing the same problem. I called to customer care many times they are just playing with me like servie will stop within 2hr, 4hr, 24 hr, 48hr . I am going to change to airtel. I have post paid connection since last 3 years with vodafone and such stupid eveperince thing now coming.

My phone number is [protected] which i had ported to vodafone 3 months ago. But i am facing many problems regarding the activation o[censored]nwanted services on my phone. Recently FLASH service was activated when i was in roaming & my balance was continuously getting deducted due to this service which i had not even activated and moreover the option of flash service is not even present on my phone. I called the customer care & they asked me to deactivate it from my phone which was not possible as the option of the service is not available on my phone. This service gets activated only when i am in roaming & balance is deducted. Now i am thinking to port my number again due to these problems. If it gets corrected then i might not port.
"Your connection is still active.Plz pay the balance for not disconnecting..blah blah blah...". This is the I am hearing every time I make a call. Listening to the message in Hindi, Marati and English, I really waste 1min for each call i make.
Thanks a lot Rahul Punjabi, I was really harassed by the flash, the phone would light up in the night, and usually at awkward hours. I am using Samsung Galaxy S, the menu scheme is SIM toolkit --> FLASH! --> Activation --->Deactivate

And the Flash message gets deactivated.

The deactivation stops the msg for while and activates again automatically. White collared thieves.

Vodafone — Being charged for discontinued VAS

I had taken a new postpaid vodafone connection (No:[protected]) in March,2011. Since first month itself, i was being charged for services I had not activated. After that I got all of them discontinued including hungama pack ( i dont even know what that is). Inspite of that it religously features in all my bills. After repeated calls to customer care and multiple cancellations of the same service, it still features in my bill. To this finally in August vodafone customer threw a new jazz at me saying this will have to be disconnected from some website on which vodafone has no control. This makes no sense. Then how the hell it ever got activated. I am sick and tired of this mothly trauma. Their nodal officer has not even replied to my mail which was written on 11th August.

Even after making Complaint No.[protected]. repeated deactivations of FLASH messages,the service had not been discontinued.though told that it would be done immediately.

For post paid vodafone users goto compose sms in your mobile and type " CAN FLASH" in and send this sms to 111 (toll free). This worked instantly for me.
air tel also same problem...flash message i complained so many times but they said this is by default and check with your phone

It is atrocious & unacceptable on the part of Vodafone to let these Flash messages sent to the customer by default. Vodafone must deactivate this immediately. It is so disturbing and annoying and if this is not done with immediate effect, all consumers should take up this matter to regulatory authorities.
vodafone is looting its coustomers with these flash messaging service...it pop ups every 3 seconds...its unbearable

I started getting these flash messages on my Vodafone number since last two days. Within every few seconds I was getting these messages even if my phone is locked. So, finally I was trapped and by mistake I clicked on 'OK' button instead of clicking on 'back' button and before I could think, what has happened, I received a sms stating that 'Based on your request, Daily Joke pack has been activated and Rs 30 has been charged as Service rental'. Vodafone got succeeded in their very intention of sending such messages but I am extremely annoyed by these cheap tricks of vodafone. Is there any way to get my money back?
Now, I have deactivated the flash services following the tips given by people in this thread.
For people using Airtel follow these steps to deactivate these flash messages
1. Select Airtel Live from menu.
2. Select airtel now!
3. Select Start/Stop
4. Select Stop.

I tried this on my Nokia 1661 model and it worked... Hope this is help!
I have been receiving recorded calls in Kanada and English from

and so on.

Everyday around 3 to 4 times I get these type of auto recorded calls. I have complained about this at least 4 times to the customer service number and no effect till date. Whats happening with Vodafone? My Number is on DND.

I bought a new Vodafone prepaid sim and ever since I activated it I am getting promotional calls and these flash messages pop up on my screen every few minutes. It is very annoying and if you accidentally click ok on those messages you will be charged for it. What kind of is this, its a [censored] scam.

Vodafone has become a beggar company, trying to suck money from customers by these fraud services.

Anyways guys to deactivate it do the following-
Go to Vodofone Services --> FLASH! --> Activation --> Deactivate.

To stop the promotional calls do the following-

    THEY ARE CHARGING ME FOR WWW SERVICES FOR LAST 5 MONTHS , BUT I NOT USING THAT SERVICE.

    I ALSO SEND HIM THE MAIL BUT THEY CAN NOT DO ANYTHNG.

    I want to know my billing status.
    I am a bonafide Vodafone Subscriber bearing Vodafone No’s [protected], [protected] and [protected]. I have since the inception of subscription of Vodafone at all times regularly paid all bills due from me against my usage of Vodafone Mobile Telecommunication Service. Despite the same, I have been harassed and have been made to go through tremendous harassment due to the high handedness and irresponsible behavior of Vodafone on several occasions. I have been harassed by Vodafone time and again in the past 4 months regarding the payment of her mobile bills. Vodafone has on several occasions erred in computing and sending the correct bills and hence, I was on several occasions asked to visit the Vodafone store. Despite me going to these stores my billing problems have not yet been resolved and every month I have been visiting the store trying to resolve the same. Due to Vodafone’s erroneous billing, I have been often charged late payment fees which again on my insistence are reversed in the next bill and this continues every month since June 2008. On October 3, 2008 I made timely cheque payments for my 3 numbers ([protected], [protected] and [protected]) in the amounts of 1416.81, 121.70 and 699.88 respectively. Although the amount was debited from my account on October 4, 2008 as seen in the bank statements, Vodafone claims that the amount has not been credited in their account and hence, my bills reflect unpaid. Due to this I was time and again called and smsed by Vodafone and their recovery agencies. I was then asked to fax the bank statements, which she faxed on the October 8, 2008. On October 9, 2008 all outgoing services from my client’s numbers were blocked. On October 10, 2008 I visited Bandra Vodafone store and spoke to Mr. Gufran Sayed Kadri. She was made to wait for 2 hours in the store from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. During this time Mr. Gufran and store manager Mr. Kamaal took Xerox copies of the bills and the bank statements assuring me that her problem would be resolved. However, on October 11 and 14, 2008 client got calls from Vodafone asking me to make payments. I dread that my numbers will again be deactivated. Further, I requested Mr. Gufran and store manager Mr. Kamaal to give me a written assurance or some receipt that I had made a due complaint and that I had taken all due steps to resolve the billing problems. However, both Mr. Gufran and store manager Mr. Kamaal refused for the same only giving me verbal assurances and a complaint No. SR#[protected].

    Vodafone — Billing Problem in Vodafone Number

    Hi Sir,

    I was using one vodafone number and on which STD charges was 1 Rs. But in the month of November they have charged me 1.5 Rs for STD and regarding that i have complaint so many times in vodafone call center but still its not yet resolved.

Today, my unbilled amount exceeded that amount so again my outgoing services have been stopped and I was asked to pay 846 Rs to continue using the services. All this within just 15 days of my new connection! If this is the poor service I'm getting I would like to file a case against Vodafone.

    Re : Cheating by your Company regarding Red Family Plan Scheme and Invoicing o[censored]nknown Number in My Red Family Plan

    Sir,

    I had port-in to Vodafone from Airtel (Mobile No. [protected]) after nearly twelve years of association so that I can use Red Family Plan with any excess usage by my wife, Sarita Maloo (Mobile No. [protected]) getting adjusted with my 899 Plan. Therefore, after porting in myself, I got my Wife’s Mobile No. [protected] also port-in to Vodafone with clear instructions to your Customer Support Executive (111) that her no. should be in my Red Family Plan.

    Your Customer Support Executive had sent a Dealer to fill up the form and collect documents with necessary payment. To my shock, her no. was not included in my Red Family Plan and was billed separately under 399 Red Plan. Immediately, I spoke to your Customer Support Executive who advised me to visit Vodafone Store, Sunder Nagar, S V Road, Malad (West) and check the Form filled by my wife. On checking the Form on the Screen, it was clearly visible that my Wife had ticked Red Family Plan clearly but the same did not incorporated into your System which according to your Store Executive is a common problem of taking mobile connection through Dealer instead of Vodafone Store. I do not know whom to blame as I had approached your Customer Support Executive (111) who had sent Dealer to my house for connection and I had not volunteered for the same.

    Nevertheless, I thought that since your Organization is so big, such mistakes tend to happen once in for a while and I decided to bear additional cost of Rs. 400 to resolve the matter.

    But to my surprise when your Vodafone Store finally got added my Wife’s No. [protected] to my No. [protected] under Red Family Plan, they also added one more No. [protected] without my knowledge which I do not know Who it belongs to ? I, once again, called up your Customer Support Executive ([protected]) to inform them about this error but they were of no help to me as they did not had outgoing facility to check on the unauthorized number. They requested me to approach Vodafone Store, Sunder Nagar, S V Road, Malad (West) and I, once again, visited the Vodafone Store and tried to make them understand that Mobile No. [protected] has got added to my Red Family Plan without my knowledge and it is operated by one, Mr. Sharma from Juhu. Vodafone Store Executive were not ready to believe me but after lots of persuasion, they raised a query but could not give any satisfactory reply to such addition to my Red Family Plan.

    The Story does not ends here ?
    Now, I have been receiving combined Bills for my Mobile No. [protected] alongwith my Wife’s Mobile No. [protected] and Unknown Mobile No. [protected] with Due Date[protected] and .

    • I do not know how to settle this bill and Why should I make excess payment every now and then for the intentional mistake of your Company ?

    • It seems that there is systematic fraud committed in your Company to defraud customers like us by blatantly overcharging us and your Back Office Department is grossly involved in overcharging the customers using unfair means and methods.

    • Are we suppose to visit your Vodafone Store every now and then for petty issues like settling of bills, etc.?

    Under the above circumstances and considering factual position, I feel that I have been continuously cheated by your organization in the above matter and in case, you do not take any action against your Customer Support Executive / Vodafone Store Executive / Back Office Executive (who is involved in continuously overcharging me for no fault of mine) under information to me, I will be forced to presume that such cheating is taking place with your permission.

      I am Vodafone user (Mobile number - [protected]) for more then a decade. For last 1-1.5 year, it is really frustrating for me as these people activates other services without consulting me and add the activation (and uses) charges in my bill. I keep on calling customer support and also visit their store but its really funny that no one has right to deactivate these services or may be they dont want to deactivate it. And they expect me to pay the entire amount as mentioned in the bill...not once but every month. I have struggle a lot to deactivate services such as DOWNLOAD, VODAFONE LIVE and now they have come up with new service activation - VFMobileConnect...I think it is something related to GPRS. In my current bill they have added additional Rs.2000/- and according to their customer service people, they have activated it for all users. I said, how can you expect me to pay for service which I dont need.

      Its really a big struggle to co-ordinate with Vodafone team and deactivate any services. There is no use of visiting their store, it takes 2 hours waiting time before you are in front of their representative's desk for your problem and finally they answer is WE HAVE TAKEN YOUR REQUEST and GET BACK TO YOU ABOUT IT AND THIS IS YOUR REF. NO. BUT WE EXPECT YOU TO PAY YOUR BILL.

      Please advise, what should I do in this situation.....whom to approach......where to approach?

      Hello Vodafone support team,

      Thanks for your acknowledged but your response is not as per my expectation. Your reply is completely based on the assumption that I must have done/activated/used this service from my instrument. I have clearly mentioned that I havent done any of such settings from my instrument or you can say that my instrument is not capable of such browsing capability. For me mobile is just medium to send/receive messages/calls...nothing more then that.

      You can check with your technical team if there has been anything from my instrument that I am using.

      I just wanted to know if you expect me to pay for the activation and uses that I havent been responsible...in this situation I would prefer to surrender my connection along with my other add-on number [protected].

      Will look forward for your further response and decision.

        dear sir
        i am having a vodafone number - [protected] , i opted for blackberry services yearly plan and plan was activated in June 2010, at the time of activation it was informed that once the yearly plan ends , i will need to activate my blackberry services again, but when the services expired in may 2011, they were activated on 1'st june 2011, without my knowledge and approval.
        i received a call from vodafone that if i want to renew the blackberry yearly plan and i refused to the same as i was not at all satisfied with their services.
        they also informed me that now the blackberry 1099 plan has been activated on my phone as the yearly plan expired in may 2011, upon contacting vodafone regarding unnecessary activation of this services, they are replying to me that i have given a request for activation of blackberry 1099 service.
        first they dont activate blackberry services over the phone or internet , one has to personally visit the vodafone store , give an identity proof and then they activate the services.
        upon requesting a copy of request , i have not got any answer from them, they are just bullying this service on me.
        I would request you to please take some strict actions against them , as this may be the case with many of the customers, that without notifying they are activating the services.

        Vodafone — Plan was activated without consent of the customer

        Sir / madam

        i want to draw your kind attention towards the inconvenience to the customer that it clear shows that a message was received on my telephone number [protected] .The message was received, a plan uploaded on your telephone " Hello !! voice chat suvidha aapke number pr activated." This chat suvidha was uploaded without my consent and approx Rs.30/- deducted from my existing balance.

        After that I have lodged a complaint to deactivate the authorized imposed plan which is not require to the applicant at all. The message was received from the vodafone service, the plan shall be deactivated with in 24hr. but the assurance have not received the deducted balance be refunded to the undersigned.
        It is therefore requested to refund my deducted amount immediately.

        was there any form of intimation given to me that yearly plan is ending, either in the form of SMS or email?
        why do i get a call after 15 days of de-activation of yearly plan why not 15 days before???
        my point is why they keep telling me that why i was continued with bb 1099 because i requested so, , if so then please provide me a copy of the request.
        i am not willing to pay any extra charges on my account and will not pay for bb1099 plan as i have not subscribed for it.

            I have been a prepaid Vodafone customer since 2005. On 2nd May 2011, Vodafone disconnected my services mdn #[protected] without any intimation. The customer service says this mobile number never existed. The Vodafone centres are unable to help due to no information. Emails being sent since 6th May 2011 to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com. Not a single reply.

            Is vodafone serious about their business with so many better players in the market ?

              I would like to bring to your kind notice that I’m a Vodafone customer with mobile number [protected]. I’m really satisfied with the service of Vodafone. Unfortunately on 10th of March, 2011 my service was withdrawn without my consent. When I went to the nearest Vodafone Store on 11th of March, 2011 I discovered that someone called from a number 9432****** and barred my services due to misplace of my phone. But I have not lodged any of such complain in the customer care. To be mentioned here, after investigating personally, the above mentioned BSNL number was already misplaced on 5th of March, 2011 and a FIR was already allotted against this number on 6th March, 2011 under the police station of Nimta, Belghoria. The FIR case number is GDE 323. The said BSNL line was blocked on 6th of March and the new SIM card was activated on 12th of March. I have the full proof document with me.

              You all will surprised to know that the same person along with the same customer care executive of Vodafone barred another two of my Vodafone numbers which was used by my wife. The numbers are 983******* / 9874******. After I investigate personally in this matter I came to know that all these three numbers are barred by a single customer care executive and his name is Mr. Chandan Ghosh. To be mentioned here that it is impossible for a person to know the personal details of all those three numbers.

              I lodged a complaint against Vodafone and as well as Chandan Ghosh under the higher authority of the police. I also lodge a complaint to Mr. Sridhar Rao, Vodafone CEO India, Mr. Guy Lawrence, Vodafone England and Vittorio Colao, Vodafone Worldwide director. They respond to my complaint and verbally told me that the accused person Mr. Chandan Ghosh left Vodafone after the first investigation was done by Vodafone officials. But they refuse to give me any official letter but they told that they will handover everything to the police regarding Mr. Chandan Ghosh.

              I investigate personally and found out that Mr. Chandan Ghosh of 50, Panchanantala Road, PO: Sukchar, Kolkata : 700115 and called him to ask the reason why he did this with me but he can't provide me any suitable answer. He is working now in Mumbai and it's a great risk of that company to keep such employee who leaks out customer data in public.

              I would like to draw your kind attention in this regard and waiting to see any suggestions from your behalf.

              It's more than one month and this is the first time Vodafone sent me an email with an unjustified clarification regarding the complaint. The mail is as follows.

              Based on your mail below, we confirm that the Vodafone number [protected] was deactivated on request received at call centre after necessary security check done from our end. Also note that we do not provide any details pertaining to any account without security check, since privacy of our subscribers is our solemn concern.

              In this regard, the relevant investigating authority has already got in touch with us and all the required information has been shared with them. In case of any further requirement in future, we will definitely extend our support to them.

              The Service Registration number assigned for this correspondence is[protected].

              For further help regarding this matter, please do call us at [protected] Monday to Friday between 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. (except public holidays) or e - mail us at vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com. We will do our best to help you.

              Thanks for your reply.

              This is to inform you that the no such request was made from me and the numbers that you are referring from where the call was made to your customer care call center was totally false. No such call was made from those two numbers (9432****** and 983*******) and I have valid document against it.

              Please do a thorough investigation on this and I look forward to a fair judgement from you.

              To be mentioned here officer investigating from the Jt. Commissioner of Police (Crime) Department verbally stated that this total incident is well planned and conducted by Mr. Chandan Ghosh who is now in Mumbai.

              Please let me know your opinion regarding the status.

                I am the customer of Vodafone from last 2 years with a number [protected] but from last few days i am facing some problems regarding services issues.



                Few days back, i have enquired about the Vodafone Web services and your executive told me about the plan [protected]@99 service under which, upto 2GB data has been provided for browsing & downloading from any site, and also i have enquired about this plan various times but they told me that your usage has been discounted after the end of month.



                After that i requested for the plan and it had been activated on my above mentioned number.



                But now whats happening is when i used to open any other site from my phone the Company charge me 10 paise per 10 KB,according to your normal usage charges. And the total charges cost me around Rs.1800/-.



                Now it is very ashamed of the VODAFONE Company that what their employees & executives told us about any product is not right information. If this plan doesn`t allowed me to use another sites then they told me at the time of Product selling.

                    I am a vodafone user.They change the number and the option to to talk to customer care executive.

                    The problem is if you talk to customer care then they charge for that.

                    This is the way to earn money.

                    You will not get option to talk to customer care executive in one go ane everytime you call you will be charged.

                    If they change the option on the number provided ,they don't inform subscriber for that.

                    There is no direct number to call to customer care executive.

                    Vodfone executive does not reply properly and keep us on hold for a longer time for unnecessary reason...Complaint is against a executive named Chetraj.

                    I am absolutelt dissatisfy with the services of vodafone & their customer care executives.
                    I took number portability from Reliance to Vodaforne. The day I move to Vodafone, many packs are activated from Vodafone. Job activation pack has been activated on 29, 30 August 2011 & Rs. 60 has been detected from my main balance. When I talk to customer care executive, he says that its your fault. He deliberately activate Vodafone alerts-Balaji & charged Rs. 30 for the service & says that you was abusing to executives, So you are charged.
                    When I ask for refund of money, they reply that message on 54701 & your pack will be deactivate. But money can not be refunded. Next day Job activatation pack activate itself & charged Rs.30.

                    I move to Vodafone because of its good network. But they are charging to customers deliberately, its rediculus.

                    I request you to please help me so that I can get my balance & these packs does not active again

                      This is in reference to the four *Vodafone Corporate Connections ( [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]) *purchased under *T - 199 SUPER + 49 Rs CUG Rental + 500 Min CUG , Free Than After @ 0.10 Paisa Plan* on 23/04/2011 for our company *GC Media Pvt. Ltd. *from your representative *Mr.
                      Prateek Sharma ([protected])*. All the required documents had been submitted to him on the same date.
                      At the time of purchasing these connection we have been assured that our other vodafone connections - *[protected], [protected] & [protected]* will also be incorporated in the above mentioned plan, we had submitted the NOC and Request letter with him. But to our regret till date nothing has been done in this regard, every time when we call him he lamely ensure us the same will be done in one or two days. He further forwarded our request to *Mr. Rajeev ([protected]), *but even he has not taken any satisfactory action towards our complaint. Customer care department has been proved of no help to us. We have written multiple complaints to their Nodal Head but every time we have received irrelevant and incomplete reply from their side.
                      Its not only time consuming but disturbing too. We are very much disturbed, so you are requested to kindly take the necessary action in this regard and do the needful.

                        I have Vodafone number ([protected]) since October 2004 with customer relationship number as 1.2464420. However without any intimidation from Vodafone Essar Ltd. my relationship number was changed to 1.19470497. It has been always under the scheme of Individual Number only. This number has never been a corporate number or so for the relationship number to be changed.

                        There were two bills generated during the time period of February to March 2011 due to change in relationship number. The discrepancy was cleared by me at Thane Vodafone Essar Ltd. Store, Opposite Malhar talkies, Thane (W) on 22nd April 2011 and 23rd April 2011 under the guidance of Mr. Hamza. On 22nd April 2011, via SBI debit card, payment of differential amount 4673.00/- was made with transaction number 722517. On 23rd April 2011, a request (request number:[protected] for transfer of Rs. 6000.00/- from account number 1.19470497 to 1.2464420 was made towards February bill.

                        However even till date I am getting calls from Ms. Sujata Panchal (Mob: [protected]) and office landline number: [protected], towards making the payment. Despite informing them that payment has been made, until 13th June 2011, the calls are coming from them towards making of payment.

                        I would like you to take necessary action.

                          This side kamal kishor, i have a vodafone no. [protected] on my name . from last two months i dint use my number because i was out of station. Now when i started my vodafone number, it is working .

                          Incomings/SMS are perfectly coming but when i am calling message coming " your number is in deactivation process".

                          There is a balance in my number amounted Rs. 60 (appx).

                          When i complaint to vodafone store they refused to solve the problem and said we cant do anything and you cant get your number back. I dint expect this response from vodafone atleast.

                          Its the issue of my contacts which is the only source of my friends and realatives.

                          Request you to please help me to get my number back. I shall be thankful to you.

                            However, my number has not been activated nor am I supplied with a new sim card as promised by Mr. Ankush Jadhav. (file attached)

                              I am a vodafone prepaid mobile customer. I purchased a game from mobile last night, which cost 50 rs. After sending request for purchase, i got a response message saying "Due to some technical problems, your request could not be processed. We apologize for the inconvenience".

                              And today in the morning, 50 rs is also deducted from my account. I spoke to customer support, they said they don't have any data for the same.

                                I have a new Vodafone connection and have submitted all the required documents.
                                1. The phone is not activated for 1 1/2 weeks and having clearly mentioned in the form that I am a working person and would not be available till 7.30 in the evening on weeks day .Will be at home on weekend s so please call on my alternate number before visiting. Incase you want to come to my office on a week day that is fine and I had even provided them with my office address..I have their agent come to my house twice during the weekday and obviously I am not at home and then the customer care threatens that they will disconnect the phone if the verification is not done. Finally fed up I said go ahead disconnect .On a few apologies from their end they come to my office to do the verification.

                                2. Finally I get my welcome call after a month of the connection being activated.

                                3. I get the first bill and that has my name's spelling is wrong . I need to claim the bill but cannot do it if the name's spelling is wrong. On asking the customercare to get that corrected I am told that one complaint would be logged to correct the spelling and after 24 hrs of that I can again call and ask for the bill with the right spelling .First step goes fine but when after 48 hrs I call to get the bill with the correct spelling I am informed that I cannot get that bill with the correct spelling it will only happen in subsequent cycles. This is complete harassment. First they take 2 weeks to activate a phone , then I get threatening calls from customer care , finally get the bill in the wrong name .This has caused be not only metal agony but now also financial because I cannot get the bill claimed .

                                  I had been enjoying my Vodafone 99 unlimited internet service since past couple of years and I never activated any Vodafone Mobile connect service plan. If Vodafone made the service default for new customers and old customers then the old customers should be notified through a message atleast that their internet service can be chargable if mobile connect access point is used. You run a number of ads on TV and I missed watching your ad on gprs services going default. Instead I expect a sms intimation similar to your endless sms ads. I was unaware of vodafone connect being activated without my request for activation. My vodafone internet browsing always gave me an error if I was using the access point not activated by me. I don't deny the fact that I used the service but it was without my knowledge. Now my vodafone no. of around 5years is deactivated because I refused to pay their bill of Rs.18000+ which includes this unfair gprs charges. I have spoken to endless executives, the nodal officer and the appellate authority who tell me t opay my huge bill to use the services. I had been loyal to vodafone all these years and I recommended people to use the service but with my bad experience I will have to dissuade people from going for a vodafone connection. I am still waiting for justice through higher authorities. I have faced enough inconvenience due to Vodafone and my recent job applications had the vodafone no. I need justice and if concerned authorities are reading this please issue a new bill waiving off the mobile connect charges and give me back my no. Anybody who can help please reply.

                                    my vodafone phone no. is [protected] i recharged my vodafone mobile prepaid account with Rs.97 on 28/5/11. in 97Rs. i get 2 GB worth of free surfing internet however on 12/6/11 i get a message that i have used my all limits of free surfing and it is deactivated. however i have used only less than 2% of of my limits more over my account has been debited with Rs.307.71
