Vodafone — Caller tune never activated,but charged
My name is Giridhar A, i just activated a caller tune on my VODAFONE Post paid connection, I called customer care executives n times regarding this,but i dont see any progress or response from them,It is really a horrible experience with Vodafone, guys dont go for Vodafone by mistake too, go for other service providers which are much better in any means compared to this Let me know what action should be taken to Sue them so that they may not repeat it again ya this is total BS
and moreover those caller tunes are nothing but crap
no one on earth would be satisfied wit that quality of CT
AND IN ITS DATABASE IT HAS LESS THEN 1000 SONGS AND IT ILL FORCE FULLY SEELL THEM TO US THIS IS REALLY RIDICULOUS

I am Ashok, Using Vodafone Mobile Service([protected]) for Past 1 and half years.
I have activated a caller tune of my interest. When callers call me instead of hearing
my caller tunes, vodafone is playing advertisement for my caller tune which is not acceptable. Any body facing this issue?

They deducted 45 rs from my balance for activating caller tune. But i did not activate it. I did not even received a confirmation message. Customer service does not help. It happened to me before but i did not complain that time.
I am a Vodafone pre-paid customer with the number [protected], located in New Delhi.
On Saturday, your company automatically activated a caller tune in my mobile without my authorization and has deducted the monthly rental for the same. I feel that this is an extremely unethical behavior from a reputed company. Moreover, when I tried to deactivate the caller tune by sending an sms "CAN CT" to 144 (for pre-paid customers), I got the reply that "you are not active for this service".
I request you to kindly look into this and immediately deactivate the caller tune from my mobile and refund the rental charged by you.

Hi , I bought new vadafone prepaid sim on 15/03/2010 and as soon as i rechaged the sim with e boucher i got a message Your caller tume service has been activated and money was deducted from me pre paid balance , i am new user to vadafone services after a day i called to Vadafone customer care , the lady said , " You have called after 24 hours now caller tune has to be used for the whole month we cannnot deactivate it and when i said you should inform me before activating caller tunes." she replied "noting can be done you have to use it for one month" Sir kindly help me in getting me balance back .

Most of the calls that we get at the call centre are routine queries that can be handled efficiently by our self help systems and we would encourage you to try these services. i am using vodafone ([protected]) .before 4 or 5 months back they sent one massage about caller tune that's says,"your charged Rs.30/- for caller tune if your not interested send massage to us.usually if i am interested i send massage for caller tune activation.but here different they are already activated.i am also call customer care and explain them.
they repeat the same.my qusition is how they are activate caller tune with out my permission.i need refund.

My caller Tune is unfortunately changed without my prior permission or confirmation.While contacting at 111 on 28th April 2010 at about 12.40pm,response I got is very unsatisfactory.One of the executives told me that you have pressed digits like*...,to change my callet tune.I am very confident and I am the exclusive user of the Mobile Phone and it is handelled by me O N LY.., in any case it is totally impossible.He nusencely and unnecessarily argued.The way of talking to the customer in such a competative market by the executive in no case is acceptable.
Futher tried to contact senior executive they put me on hold for more then 07 minutes!!!!!!.Finally again there was no response!!Ultimately there was not sufficient time to talk to him I disconnected the phone.
I my self feel that I am cheated and harassed by the Vodafone services.THEY MADE ME UNHAPPY rather than they say HAPPY TO HELP!!!!!!!!!At last I sent arequest to de activate my changed CT on 29th April 2010.
THEY should CHAGE THIS SLOGAN like We are HAPPY TO HELP BY MAKING THE CUSTOMERS UNHAPPY!!!!!!!
This to request that my favourite set CT of GAYATRI MANTRA(subssription charges I am already paying) is to be activated without putting extra financial burden and charges for the changed CT is not to be charged in the next any of the bills for which the payment is due.

I do not know how a caller tune is being activated.I did not want it.Now from this month I do not want any caller tune.So, I called customer care on 198.They told me to send a sms CAN CT to 144. I sent it twice or thrice , but till the caller tune is running.When I call them , they tell me it will be ok. But from last 7 days no changes.
I have not been able to recharge and talk from my cell for last 10 days.It is too much.I am not satisfied customer support.How can they do this to a customer.
Moreover from today when I call 198, it says that this facility is not available to me..How and why???I have written this letter to you to get a good response.Please deactivate my caller tune.I dont want any and why should I pay money here if I dont want it.
From last 10 days I have not been able to call anyone from my cell.The shop in Shopprix mall from where I took the sim told me to go to Zonal office, But I am a working man and I cant manage time for that, moreover why should I go?
