I AM USING VODAFONE POSTPAID SERVICE FROM LAST 3 MONTH S
THEY ADDED EXTRA INTERNATIONAL CALL CHARGES IN MY BILL; WHERE AS I DID NOT MAKE ANY INTERNATIONAL CALL THROUGH MY NUMBER.
IN SEP 2011 THEY ADDED RS.90..00 AND NOW IN OCT 2011 BILL RS 135.00
I ENQUIRED OF THE VODOFONE CALL CENTER, THEY COULD NOT GIVE ME SATISFACTORY & CORRECT INFORMATION,

KINDLY HELP ME TO SHORT OUT THIS PROBLEM.

    I got surprise to see the September bill amount of Rs. 2231.82.
    The call charges under CUG plan are very low, CUG is free & my usage is also not profound. I have activated “99 Unlimited” internet plan.

    When I contacted Customer Care, they told me the amount is due to use of Vodafone Mobile Connect facility WHICH I NEVER REQUESTED TO START. So, how Vodafone can activate any value added service (e.g. Vodafone Mobile Connect) by default without intimation to customer ???

    2 days back someone from Vodafone called me told that, they will give me reversal of Rs. 1400. But total of Rs. 1685 was charged in the bills for Sept & Oct. I refused to accept their offer as they were not ready to give me reversal of full amt. i.e. Rs. 1685.

    This is the exact fraud by Vodafone on their customers. Please read my complaint so you will know the illegal hacking being done by Vodafone. This is a crimnal offence and definately needs to be brought to the notice of TRAI. Nishant

      respected sir/madam,
      i am a vodafone user.i had activated my vodafone blackberry daily plan @15.
      the vodafone website shows that we can use the service for using the blackberry app world.
      i am a blackberry 9700 user.
      i had activated my daily blackberry plan by sending the sms ACT BIS15 to 144 and Rs.15 had been deducted from my balance
      and the blackberry internet services were activated in my phone.
      my phone also showed the EDGE network and all my settings were fine for services to be used.
      but when i used my blackberry app world,the vodafone carrier had charged me for that and deducted Rs.360 from my balance
      my balance was Rs.322 and was brought down to Rs.-40.5.
      i cant understand how the vodafone have charged me.
      and also how can they make my balance negative to -40.5
      i had not downloaded anything from the internet except just using blackberry app world apps.
      this is malpractice and cheating from vodafone.
      i had earlier also spoken to vodafone customer care but did not get a response.
      it is my earnest request the you look into this matter and help me in getting my balance back which amounts to Rs.362 approximately.
      i am looking forward for a quick response.

        I had recently taken three mobile connections on 31 Aug 2011. On 4th Sept I had given a complaint that I am not receiving any signal on all the 3 mobile connections both in my home and my office. Till date Vodafone has not resolved it , instead they are asking me to pay the bills. For what is the bills to be paid. My plan/ scheme is authorised 400 free CUG calls and 100 free SMS for a month. If there is no signal on my mobile how will I avail this free call/SMS facility, if I am not able to take this facility then for what service should I pay. I want to sue the firm for deficiency in service and inconvenience caused due to not extending the basic voice mail and data services.
        Moreover they disconnect the services without prior intimation. When the appellate was contacted one Mr Sharan has assured that once the network issue is resolved then they will talk about payment and there will be no disruption in service till then, but every now and then some other dept disrupts tje services without prior intimation. They work in water tight compartment.
        Till now no official from Vodafone has given a ring to resolve my issue, every now and then I need to talk for long hours from my landline to make them understand. Who will pay for my landline bills ? Inspite of asking for call back they do not respond. The customer service centre at Perambur, Chennai is also ineffective and since they are not able to resolve the issue they are also rude. How should this issue be resolved. I had initially paid for all the three connections but have not got the basic service i.e. voice call. Moreover I had spoken to the appellate and cust service for laong hours form my landline. How much more should I spend? Kindly help

          Dear sir i had a conversation with vodafone complaint dept twice actually i had recharged my phone ( [protected]) with vodafone recharge 42 through online banking on 2nd nov 2011 at 6 O clock , after recharging i recieved a message from vodafone "Thankyou for using vodafone online shop. your order id is MUTI[protected] and you have recharged with Rs 42.0", at that time i had a balance around 60 rs in my account, which was deducted on the same night in between 11 to 12 O clock, and my phone calls for both customer care and complaint dept. was barred. and my balance reduces to -6 rs, i complaint about this after recharging with gprs pack and recieveing message from vodafone still you have deducted money. after that they told me it activates after 8 hour from recharge i said ok, after that i recharged my phone with 100 rs, now on 4th night after 24 hours + when i used gprs and they again deducted amount from my account and my balance goes to -17 rs, when i again complaint about this they are not ready to hear my issue directly forwarding me to vodafone store when i asked them to make me speak to their manager aur senior concerned person they disconnected my phone the name of the agent is "mozzam". i am fed of this type of vodafone service and want a serious action against them because this is not the first time they are harrasing me. please i request you to look into the matter ASAP.

            Sir,

            I had purchased a Vodafone Mobile Broadband USB Stick on[protected] model no:K3770, SN:[protected]
            Cost : 1500/- Rs for USB Stick, CS NO: VKS/11-12/CS01/239, and 199/- Rs for activation Fee, SP NO: VKS/11-12/SP01/6945

            The day i purchased the modem the executive told me your modem will activate on Dt: 31/10/2011 before 14:00 hrs,

            In the evening when i connected the modem to my PC its shows the network problem, i contact to customer care i explained the problem, they told me that there is some problem with your SIM CARD in the modem,
            Same day I went to Vodafone Gallery at KHARGHAR from were I purchased the Modem and explain them the problem, they replaced my SIM CARD and give me the modem and the executive gave me the PC settings for Modem on a Paper, when i came back i did as the executive told me, but there was same problem.

            Next day on 1/11/2011 i launch a complaint to Vodafone gallery, executive having same problem. he replied to me that he doesn't have time to attend the complaint, as if he had so many complaints to do, i told him you can come on second day he said OK i will try to come, but he didn't came, on the same day in the evening i again went to Vodafone Gallery with same issue, they told me that the person will come tomorrow ie: 2/11/2011 to attend the problem and if he doesn't come we will refund your money, but as usual the same the person doesn't came.

            next day on 3/11/2011 i visited to Vodafone gallery to re-fund my money and to hand over the modem, executive replied me that he cannot take back the modem or re-fund the money till the technician will attend and solve the issue

            I don’t want to keep the modem as if I am facing the problem, I want my Money refund

            Vodafone Mobile Broadband — Extremely low speeds

            I have been using a vodafone data card for sometime and have been experiencing problems with the connection speed.When I spoke to customer care executive I was told that the speed would be around 155 kbps,whereas I don't receive a speed of more than 35 kbps.Sometimes the speeds go down to less than 1 kbps and I am unable to load any webpages rendering this data card useless.I bought a vodafone connection because I trusted that a company this big would have a good infrastructure and deliver on their promises.I think vodafone should try and resurrect this problem asap.

              I am Vodafone Customer from last 6 Years.
              I have activated my internet service. My Internet service is not activated in my mobile but it is showing activated in their system.
              i m trying from 2 day but they have not solved my problem. i have got bored by calling 15 times to customer care. but everytime i got the same answer
              call this number and that number talk to technical department talk to blackberry department talk to this department talk to that department.

              On 12th Oct i have recharged with 16r for 80mb internet pack, and same was processed by Vodafone, but when i connect to internet and try to browse web pages, internet is giving error message saying the webpage is not available, immediately i called up customer care for help, i got revert saying the data team is busy, so call us after 30min, i did call later on and requested for call back option also . when i called second time i did reach data team, the data team listen to my complaint and said call us from different number, we will help on your Vodafone number as i was trying to connect internet thru my laptop.

              so i called them from different number, they were trying to help me, they give some option which i did in my laptop, even though the net was not on my system.
              so again i have to call customer care to reimburse my money, as i was not able to browse net, again they said the data team will help, so i requested for call back option and gave my timing (after 9:30pm on Monday (14th Oct), they did not call me on same but they have called on Wednesday morning 9.50, so i have requested them to help to connect net, but they have told me non of the pack are active in my number,

              i am surprised to listen that, However there might be two reasons 1. The data pack valid for three days only.
              2. They never activated my plan at all. i have explained same to data customer care, but they ask me to complain in customer care.

              So i am complaining here for the money what i have lost, and also on negative service
              16 Data package, and call charges for reaching customer care from air tel number:-around 35inr.
              i recharged my mobile with 248₹ 3gb unlimited interest pack .. but when i started using it speed is too slow
              then i complained about it on 25 October they said they will resolve it by 4th November i am still facing the issues and now my data pack is about to end ..

                  I have registered DND services on 7th july 2011. After registering DND twice i m getting sms i dont know why this vodafone is doing they really do not service their customers and wen we call to register a complaint they directly disconnect the phone line instead of guiding.

                  Iam getting flash message through vodafone. i have been calling customer care but there is no option to connect customer care executive. I sent SMS that CAN FLASH but message failled. i sent email but iam getting reply message that call customer care or sent sms. So that i have been trying to call customer care last 2 months there is no option to connect Customer care executive so that some times i have been sending sms to 111 but message sending fail. Iam losting money through this unnecessary Flash message also while iam using FM or musing this Flash message is stopping my FM Radio and musics. Now what should i do. Please help me.

                    I also got a missed call from this number +[protected]. Luckily, I googled it and found this page. We must report it as fraud and some action must be taken for this.
                    These people are just cheating.They deduct amount from the main balance stating the reason of downloading in spite of having the net pack(3G)activated.75 Rs was deducted from my main balance without even an intimation.This is the second time. If you call the bloody call centre, they don't even respond properl.They don't give proper resolution and are harsh on calls.They don't transfer the calls to the managers. Worst service ever.I want my amount to be refunded.I have activated 3G net pack.What common sense they use to even say that the amount is charged for downloading when the net pack is active.

                      I had a vodafone postpaid connection with number [protected] in hyderabad. As I was out of country since Jul I wasnt using the phone and unable to pay the bill.
                      I got a legal notice on 24th oct for bill payment and my family at hyderabad paid the amount of Rs 3700/-.
                      My family clearly said that i am out of india and wont be using phone but these guys deliberately didnt close connection even after settlement.
                      On 25th oct i even sent a mail from my registered e mail id for closing the connection. They keep on sending mails it will take time ...it will take time... Now 7 days has been passed but they didnt close the connection yet.
                      Today i got a mail saying i again need to pay 500/- for closing connection.

                      Now can anyone tell me is closing a connection so difficult process that it would get done in a week and still in process.
                      Vodafone people are real robbers and i will circulate this mail in my office so that nobody will be cheated anymore. i m really fed up of these guys... I swear would never ever take vodafone connection in my life again. They are cheaters and robbers.....

                          I have recharge to my mobile ([protected]) from Paytm.com site. That Transaction was failed but amount was debited from my account. I have used Credit card. In Paytm my account page displays transaction failed, but account Cash balance is displays Rs.0.0. My Order Number: 5370712, Transaction Date: 24-Sep-11 19:45:02 and In order status tab status shows transaction failure like below :

                          Recharge of Rs.333 for Vodafone mobile number [protected] Payment Failure 333.00

                          Could you please let me know what is the issue and kindly credit the amount to my account.

                            I am a retailer cum student of CA final.
                            I am using Vodafone Demo sim [protected] for 5 years, and doing the transactions uninterruptedly over and above the targets set by the Distributor. I am also using the card for my personal use by giving that number to all my friends and relatives.

                            Now I came to Chennai for taking CA final coaching. Doing transactions while in ROAMING is not possible.
                            As per vodafone company norms, if the retailer fails to do more than 10 transactions he will not get the benefits of 100 free calls for every month.
                            But my distributor is intentionally disconnecting my sim card each and every time. I am getting a normal sim at vodafone store. he is disconnecting that sim also. and He is also making calls fraudulently and utilizing the DEMO balance.

                            I already given Complaint to Vodafone DEMO customer care. They are highly irresponsible and saying to give complaint to distributor or CSM.
                            The distributor himself is doing fraud how can i give complaint on distributor to distributor.
                            The distributor and CSM are close friends for the past period. Now the CSM is goes on transferring/changing.
                            The company demo customer care is is not providing at least CSM number also.

                            I cannot go to AP which is more than 500 km for doing 10 transactions.

                            I given that number everywhere- Internet banking, Mobile Banking, Passport Office, In my college, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and to all my friends and relatives. Some of the numbers of the above said are not with me. I am loosing very Important calls from them.

                            The justice I want is
                            ( i ) Please convert my sim from DEMO to NORMAL sim and give me normal sim card.
                            ( ii ) OR Please take an action on my distributor for not doing the same thing in the future.

                            Please help me in this regard.

                              Hi,

                              This is to inform you that I have activated 3G services on my handset which is SONY ERRICSON C905, Handset is 3G compatible. I activated this services about 3months back and never got connected to 3G in my home[delhi] network, however if i travel outside delhi, I am connected to 3g. The main concern is, I opt for a service that I can expect mostly in my home network. I never tried to contact VODAFONE CUST SERVICES because they are not helpful, every time a call is made, i am provided with a ref number that is of no use. I do prefer VODAFONE as one off the best service provider but still their are some loop holes that needed to be sorted out.

                              Please help

                                I have bought a Vodafone 3G plan and the data card stick about a week ago.
                                The SIM no. is [protected] and I had taken the INR 1,250 monthly rental plan. This plan is supposed to provide me with a data limit of 5GB free and charge me over and above the use of 5GB. My number has been active only for only 3-4 days since I had bought it.
                                My number has been suspended again since two days. The reason told to me is that the usage has exceeded the credit limit.
                                The truth is that I had only been able to use the internet to this number for 3-4 hours. The data usage was such that it could not have exceeded even 1GB.
                                I am asked to make an interim payment before my services can be activated again. Vodafone expects me to keep paying them without even letting me avail any services.
                                I deeply regret having chosen Vodafone as my internet service provider. Vodafone is acting like a crook which is interested in looting its customers with baseless billing system without even providing the promised services. Vodafone customer care executives are entirely ignorant and the managers are all incapable of providing a solution.

                                  I use a blackberry phone and I have a vodafone prepaid connection with a plan of Rs.399 , which allows me free net browsing and other blackberry services . I have been using it for over a year now and in the past two weeks vodafone has started cutting additional money from my phone saying that I have used vodafone live on my phone ( which I have not ) , I called up their helpline numerous times only to be told by their operators that ma'am you are using vodafone live . whenever I asked to speak to a senior they disconnect my calls . vodafone has deducted close to Rs 300 from my phone in addition to Rs 399 which I am already paying as my monthly cost . Last night when I woke up , i looked at my phone they had deducted Rs 50 . ( for what ? I was sleeping ) . Vodafone is running a scam here by deducting money from consumers on pretext of Vodafone Live and the consumers are being harassed and their complaints are being ignored.
                                  Go to their website and there u will find a list of email ids and phone nos. of all the high authorities. Send an email to all of them saying your problem and also call some of them. These people charge money doing this type of fraud and keep filling their baggage.

                                    Vodafone sent a message as a link http://10.10.5.215/vodafonewap/clipx=2580800 which i accidentally opened and voila caller tune is automatically activate and set.

                                    even i never requested the service the Customer care said i will be charged INR 15 for it.

                                    Can this nonsense be stopped!

                                    Vodafone — Caller Tunes Scam

                                    I have been a Vodafone user for the past 7 years, have been very happy with the provider until the last week. I get 10-15 calls a week regarding the caller tunes which i never use and have never used due to my line of profession. Last week my caller tunes have been activated without my knowledge, and i have been charged Rs.30, i call up the service and they tell me that it was mistakenly done from Vodafone and i would be reimbursed. Again this happens 2 times and i call up the service and they tell me that i have activated by putting in the code and tell me to send an SMS 5 to 111, which does not deliver.

                                    I have been billed for Rs.90 upon activation of caller tunes 3 times in the last week without my knowledge. The same has been noticed only after i received the SMS and checked my balance.

                                    Is this the way to make fast money if your product does not sell? How many more calls to 111 till this things end? What about other people who do not have time to check their balance?

                                    Another problem is that calls to 111 are charged now, and every time i have been robbed i make a call to 111 and they rob me more!!!

                                    Guess its time for me to start my own mobile service...!!!

                                      I am the user of vodafone prepaid and using number from several years. But now vodafone is start making fool of the consumer. As they are having *444# services in which they are offering different call rate cutter to the consumer but what the amount is written in that services they are charging more after the scheme get activated . As we have activated the scheme Vodafone to vodafone 10p/min call charges for 15 days in which they are charging Rs 18 rental but after activating the scheme the SMS flash that 15p/min call charges scheme is activated on your number. While calling to the customer care for the same. The Customer care executive said that this scheme is changed which is not get updated in our system for the last 1 year that's why it is showing the 10p/min. So request you kindly do the needful for the same as i attatched the photos for particular menu.

                                        I am having a bad time with VODAFONE since I purchased the sim and decided to go with it after hearing and reading the slogan “Happy to help you” many times. I now know that Vodafone is the worst telecom service provider in India.


                                        I am receiving an acknowledgment message every while which says “Session date: xx.xx.2011, Last session cost is x.xx INR. Consumed volume: x.xx MB” since 19th Oct 2011. I contacted to Vodafone immediately after the incident and was quite confident on the reply of CC executive. I was informed without any argument that it happened due to some technical mistake which won’t be repeated again and my money will be refunded within 24 hours. But that message keep on flashing on my phone and my money keep on deducting. Though the amount was in paisas that time, but it was deducting without my mistake and I was waiting for CC executive’s words come true. It was so frustrating to see these messages coming after every while.


                                        I contacted again to Vodafone and asked for the same and this time I come to know that these charges are deducting because of Vodafone Mobile Connect service which I never asked to activate. I was given complaint #[protected] for refund of amount deduction. I asked for the code to deactivate Vodafone Mobile Connect. And I was given VMC DEL to send 56789, surprisingly I got reply from 56789 which said “Vodafone Mobile Connect is already active on your Vodafone mobile phone” and this sms cost me 3 rupees. This again was not my fault, Vodafone executive provided me wrong code. I again contacted to Vodafone and asked to deactivation of VMC and was given complaint #[protected] after so many request.


                                        But there was no stopping for those irritating flash msgs and amount deduction. I again contacted to Vodafone at 198 on 26 Oct and asked for the right code. The guy on other side said that “VMC DEL” is a wrong code to deactivate, the right code is “DCT VMC”. I was again surprised that this code was also wrong. Not just wrong, but this keyword do not even exist. This was again not my fault and it again cost me 3 rupees. My new complaint #[protected]. He also accepted that these charges are deducted because of some technical issue and should be refunded within 24 hours.


                                        It went on my head when I got a flashing msg saying that it again have deducted 26 rupees on 28 Oct. After complaints of VMC deactivation, how can you keep on deducting the charges? You can’t provide right code, you can’t deactivate on when a customer request then what is the way out?


                                        It is not first time when Vodafone is creating problem for me since January 2011. It is hardly a span of 10 months and I have wasted so many hours just to contact you on 198 or emailing you.

                                        Vodafone — Pathetic services of telecom service provider

                                        Hi,

                                        I just want to have suggestion for my experinces with one of the telecom service provider.I was using a prepaid number which i got converted in post paid. I started getting troubles as soon as i got the post paid activated. there were no network connectivity and frequent call drops were happening also there was no voice clarity. I logged few complaints for this but nothig was done to resolve it.I did whatever i could and still suffered a lot, the conversations with customer care executives were exaustive and i was unappy on their response.later i asked for porting my number but they rejected the request saying that i have stay at least for 3 months with them.I wrote a mail to nodal office asking if they have taken any action on my complaints and till what time this issue will get resolved, i also cleared that i will not pay the bill for next month untill they resolve my problem.I got a reply saying that my place is in one of the grey areas with low connectivity and they can't commit about till what time they'll be able to establish new site for better connectivity so pls bear with us.
                                        I already have suffered so much which has taken a toll on my personal and professional relations due to bad phone connections.

                                        Kindly suggest me should i pay the last bill and close the case or do i have any other option to get some relief and a rightful customer.
