Hi,
I am an employee of Accenture Private Services Limited and I sent the Vodafone company a request regarding my migartion of VODAFONE Number - [protected] from Post Paid to Pre - Paid . I am a regular customer of vodafone Company even my whole Friend Circle and Family members are using your Service . But now since i am in Hyderabad I am facing such a worst Service that it made me to raise a complaint against this company.
1.My TATA- DOCOMO Pre- Paid no- [protected] was converted to VODAFONE POST PAID without my knowledge when i went for Mobile Number Portability .
2. When i asked the VODAFONE Employee to convert my number from Post Paid to Pre Paid - They told me that I have to wait till 3 months for this Process.
3 . I payed my last Bill of 25th November in time and then applied for Migration of my Post Paid (The mail is shown below) :-

Thank you for your e-mail dated 28-Oct-2012 about migration from postpaid to prepaid for your Vodafone connection [protected].
With regard to your e-mail, we wish to inform that, in order to convert your Vodafone number from Postpaid to Prepaid, we request you to clear your outstanding amount and kindly visit any of our nearest Vodafone store along with the following documents:
? Prepaid Application Form (Available in Vodafone store),
? 1 Latest Passport size colour Photograph,
? Copy of Photo Identity Proof,
? Copy of Permanent Address Proof,
? Copy of local address proof.
You would also need to make a payment of Rs. 100 towards postpaid to prepaid talk time value.
Once the conversion is done and your Vodafone number is activated in prepaid, you would automatically receive a talk time of Rs. 87, along with lifetime validity. As per the lifetime clause, in order to continue using the same number, a cumulative recharge of Rs. 200, every six months, is mandatory. If this condition is not fulfilled, your number will be permanently deactivated.

4. I got the Pre Paid Sim and the VODAFONE Employee told me it will get Activated within 48 working Hours but when it was still not working i went TWO times to the VODAFONE Store - Infront of Image Hospital, Madhapur , Hyderabad .
It was told to me that i have to pay RS. 585 then only my Post Paid will get converted to Pre Paid because i used my Post Paid Number . So i told them What should i do if i don't have any other OPTION or other Number to use for Official purpose as this is the only number I use for my Office work . Atleast they should have told me that I have to STOP using this Number till my PRE - PAID did not get activated so that i sholud not have to face new BILL for the new month. when i went to their STORE again they told me Pre paid will get activated tomorrow for sure............ But it was not done.Then i called thei CUSTOMER CARE 198 and asked them to let me talk to their LEADS ; after calling so many times they made me to talk to their Supervisor and he suggested me to Drop a mail to - corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com. i did the same but no response from their side and still i have to use my same POST PAID number as I don't have any other option and my PRE paid sim they gave me is still not activated.
What is this? I already Paid my November Bill then why should i pay this amount ? Unknowingly I used my number and i got the BILL of RS- 585 for using it.
Can you please let me know the Solution of this issue.................... It was asked to me to write an email to you regarding this issue from one of our Team Lead only. I am not going to Pay any Amount for my number as I am not Satisfied with the SERVICE Information provided to me from VODAFONE FOR this issue.
