respected consumer care exicutive,
its complaint regarding my vodafone no;[protected] . iam using a reliance 50 plan, , , , , , , , actually iam having a callertune song from kalho na ho song name is also same but on 4th oct one shuffle feature added to phone its ajith special and charged 40rs for that shuffle and want a waiver of 55rupees because its waisted my time and i lose previous song it costs 15rs otherwise i want a waiver 40rs and reactivate my previous song kalho na ho iam not happy with this service dont compell me to terminate this connection, , , ,

    Although I knew Vodafone is master in cheating people.
    I took a corporate plan available in my company. I took 2 add-on cards for my friends one of which was not used for around 15 days after making few local calls on the day of activation.
    This Company, Vodafone had sent me bills for this SIM and then suddenly this SIM was deactivated without informing me. Now they want a written application from me and worst part is they want me to pay rs.100 as the activation charge besides my rental and month's bill.
    If I am paying their rental and the taxes levied upon it then why should they bother whether I am making any calls or not. I mean its upon my discretion whether I want to make any calls or not. even If this is their policy, they should have informed me about this and top of that they shouldn't have sent me the bills for this month.

      Still its not been resolved... But i have received SMS yesterday from vodafone saying that the queries raised by me is resolved. its really funny thing... Still callertune is not been set to my number. then how can you say that it is resolved... pls reverse my activation charges of caller tune or activate my caller tune soon. Definetly i'll move to TRAI in two days as a next step.

      i am a prepaid customer of vodafone ( [protected] ). i have raised a request of callertune on 14th of september through 55655 for selecting and activating it... On 15th sep i checked with customer care they asked me to maintain balance more than Rs30... but on that day i have Rs158 exactly in my mobile balance. Finally customer care executive convienced me on saying that it will be activated in 42hours... i patiently waited... But even after 48hours it was not activated... i was irritated by this customer care executives... because they are always saying that system is slow... i dont know what can i do for their technical issue. Yesterday(30th Sep) night at 11.14 i called your vodafone care...i was tensed by their answer...again telling that system is down...then how did your system knows only to deduct my money from my balance ... Vodafone customer care executive says that my call is recorded...so please check my calls... check how many times i called... 16days have been passed still why this was not resolved by your end ...Did your system falls down completely? what is this customer care is doing? i totally dissappointed by this customer care. yesterday i called again they are picking i can able to hear that someone has attended my call instead of speaking they just holding it... again i tried, but no one is answering... Finally, one girl attended my call at 11pm yesterday, her name is also 'Abi' ... She also saying that system is not showing my information and asked me to be on hold for two mins... i waited . After two mins she told that i might took half an hour. so i requested her to check and call me after half an hour, , , She agreed. But failed to do so. I think this care is trying to fool me... Team, Please resolve my query...Because of this i am ready to change my network.check with my number which will tell you how many times i called vodafone care... ATLEAST DO THE NEEDFUL NOW...

      I had called a friend, who had a caller tune. After disconnecting the line I received a msg from 56789 informing me that my caller tune has been activated. I immediately called the customer care of Vodafone, saying I don't want the caller tune and I've not requested for it. The customer care executive bluntly replied that I copied the caller tune by pressing a * button on my mobile (which I've not done), anyway first with the benefit of doubt I kept quite. And a balance of Rs. 45.00 was deducted from my account.

      I called the same friends number after a week, but this time I've taken at most care not to press any buttons. As soon as I disconnected the line, the same msg from 56789. That my request for caller tune has been accepted and will be activated, again I have called customer care and complained but the same answer.

      This shows that Vodafone is cheating people and taking away their prepaid balance on some pretext or the other. The customer care executive are not well trained, they do not use International morse codes like alpha, brovo, charlie for the alphabet. The customer care of Vodafone or Hutch is no customer care only it is customer looting and very rude customer care executives.

        This complaint is regarding the service provided by vodafone in Orissa. I have taken vodafone prepaid connection with number [protected] on 2nd August and from the very 1st date I am facing lot of problems. Some important issues I want to mention here;

        1) No incoming call from STD reliance and smart numbers.

        2) I am not able to call Bihar AIRTEL numbers.

        3) I am receiving so many unwanted calls and sms from vodafone(like caller tune, friend's chat etc.). I have send "STOP DND" sms as suggested by the vodafone customer executive and I have talked to them also, but still this problem I am facing.

        Vodafone punch line is "HAPPY TO HELP", which is not at all relevant to their services. They have problems with all the popular telecom company and the vodafone users of Orissa are victims. Their customer care executives and their supervisor are also not providing the correct information.

        This mail is regarding the service provided by vodafone in Orissa. I have taken vodafone prepaid connection on 2nd August and from the very 1st date I am facing lot of problems. Some important issues I want to mention here;

        I strongly agree with Navin Kumar. The service that vodafone is providing is really pathetic and according to me the vodafone is orissa should be banned.

        Its ok... As Vodaphone is new entrant to Orissa circle so its like teething probelm.And vodaphone having execellency in customer service and high brand index so all the probelm will resolved with due course of time

        Dear All,

        Towards the beginning, since its launch on July, 29th 2008...there were network issues. It happens to all the telecom companies in the beginning phase. Regarding the tie up issues, it has been resolved and new phases are coming up day by day with some 1594 sites on air now. New towns are covered. Moreover, you dont have to send "STOP DND" rather you should send "START DND" and send it to 1909, the promotional calls will stop in 45 days.

        Its the Vodafone's punch line "Happy To Help" that is executed and is implemented due to which Vodafone has become the world leader in telecom.

        It is the matter of 3/4months before. I have not subscribed BHAKTI SAGAR, HELLO TUNES but it is automatically activated on my mobile and around Rs. 100 is minus from my mobile balance. it is continiously happened for 2 times. I contact with mobile care but he said that the services activated already activated on your mobile cut the service on 29th or 30th day of subscription.           I am a Vodafone Pune customer, mobile no.[protected]. I activated SMS30 pack on 26th Sep. at around 6.30p.m. Next morning at 9.10 a.m i received an sms from vodafone which read,
          "Hello, your SMS30 pack has been successfully activated.Now you can enjoy 100 free local sms for 30 days".
          After reading it i sent 6 local sms but i was charged Rs.1 for each of them.
          When i brought this to the notice of Customer Care Executive Ms. Manju R Sharma, she lodged a complaint (complaint no.[protected] & promised that my balance will be refunded within 48 hours. However, my services were activated by evening.
          Nothing happened for the next few days till i again called up customer care and spoke to Mr. Amol who later forwarded my call to Anulesh (Team Leader). He didn't help me, instead he insisted on the fact that my msgs. are free now. But the fact remains that i received the above mentined SMS from Vodafone in the morning while my sms became free in the evening.
          There was a time lag of more than 6 hrs. between the two.Vodafone is cheating on its customers by doing this and i believe its a general practice which they acquire to loot us.I regret that i bought a Vodafone sim instead of Airtel.
          Vodafone sucks!

            I am a post paid customer and I have been on roaming, in Indonesia, since 15th June. I was using my Mumbai cell for some days till I got my local number here. Hence I used to check my unbilled amount regularly using the BILL sms of Vodafone.

            I have saved all the messages of the unbilled amounts.

            Roaming started on 15/16 June
            Unbilled amount - 19 june - 604.39
            Unbilled amount - 25 june - 631.99
            Unbilled amount - 27 june - 1938.39
            Unbilled amount - 29 june - 1966.59
            Unbilled amount - 1 july - 0
            Unbilled amount- 2 july - 62919.99

            and now again
            Unbilled amount- 9 july - 4540.4 ...without even using my number!!!

            And now the bill has come showing outgoing calls on 16, 17, 18 etc which are being charged at a different rate. The unbilled amount never showed such charges and also never mentioned that the roaming charges are excluded. So they have misled me to rely on the un billed data, which i shouldn't have, by hiding this information that that roaming is extra.

            And I have a credit limit of 25000 which was not used to inform me about the unbilled charges. I should have been informed about my usage nearing or exceeding my credit limit to let me decide if i want to continue using this number or not. This is intolerable neglect and carelessness on your part.

            These are the two gross errors on their part which 'misled' me to use my number on international roaming.

            And after 20 days of filling a complaint with their customer care e-mail/phone they have not responded properly.

            Please never use vodafone on roaming or better still don't take their connection at all.

              I have a serious complaint. I urgently need the complete contact details of the top authorities of Vodafone in Mumbai.
              I received a call this morning from No.[protected], on my other cell phone (other than Vodafone). When I dialed back on the same no., it is only ringing and thee is no reply at all. When I enquired with MTNL, it shows that the said no. has been surrendered long back. In this connection, may I know, why should Vodafone hide its identity and should not disclose its complete contact details anywhere, viz. address, phone & fax nos., E-mail Id, names, designations and addresses of top as well as all other authorities etc., so that they may be contacted by a person aggrieved of any misdeeds?               My vodafone number is [protected] the plan being one paisa per second. I am a retired senior citizen using my cellfone sparingly. On 27th July 2011, i paid Rs 150 for charging my SIM and got a talking time of Rs 135.99 and taking the opening balance of Rs 2.18 the total balance was Rs138.17. Since then i have made a couple of calls (not more than 10 in any case of duration of less than a minute. When i checked the balance on 19th September 11, i was shocked to find that the balance had come down to Rs4.19 and i was prevented from making any calls.

              So on 20th September i paid Rs 30 for recharding and got a talking time of Rs22 vide also a message received on my phone. Later when i checked the balance without making a single call i was shocked to see that the AccBal shown was only 16.26. How could this happen. Please clarify and restore the the big amount of shortage mentioned in the first para and also the one said in the second para with out any reason whatsoever.

              I would appreciate a message on my phone clarifying the position. It would be much better if you can send an email to me the address being < [protected]@webkadai.com > or < [protected]@ gmail.com

                    Hi I am Anonymous sorry i cannot post my name i am really horrified and terrified by the way these vodafone people are misusing the access rights and data access.One of my friend was got shocked when some there customer care person was tapping the conversation between him and his galfriend, albeit now he start posting and started blackmailing him.He is really not in a state to express his grieve and emotions he is totally broke and going through extreme emotional stress.Thanks for having a good site like this but i am pretty sure how seriously these complaints are taken any if it really works then please let me know what is the legality and procedure to teach these guys some lesson.

                      I recharged my mobile [protected] on 2nd October, 2008 for Rs.97.00. Till I have not credited with talk time.

                      i am praveen chauhan, a vodafone pre paid customer from delhi, my phone no. is [protected].i am a vodafone pre paid user since last yr.i bought a Rs.30 top up voucher from a local shop on 26th april, 2008.i recharged the card but could not get the value and the message displayed "card invalid".i kept trying but could not recharge.the next day it showed the card is already used.the card remained with me all the time so no possibility of anyone else using it.i called the customer care then and was told that the balance would be credited in 24 hrs but it was not credited.the next day i again called up the customer care and even caught up with the floor manager but was not satisfied with the response and was not given a proper solution to my problem.i was given varied responses and none was up to the mark.the executive's name was nitin kumar.i am not at all satisfied with this.i cannot trust vodafone now anymore because you never know when it fails you.its recharge may turn invalid.better respond to my query or i will file a case against you.
                      I have recharged of Rs 30 from my Axis bank A/c. My account is Debited with 30Rs. But still vodafone have not credited Talk time of 25 Rs to My account Till Now.then I have Called them After 3 Hr of this incident. the Customer Exetive told me to call after 4 Hrs then i call them again after 4 Hrs now i am not agree with their View
                      I have recharged of Rs 100 from my ICICI BANK A/c. My account is Debited with 100 Rs. But still vodafone have not credited Talk time for the given amt to My account Till Now.then I have Called them After 8 Hr of this incident. the Customer Exetive told me to call after 5 days to register a complaint if the given bank account is not credited to u .So we would like to know does VODAPHONE is aware of this type of system OR all are in the family playing this games, were suppose a common man recharges his account and he has to call the custmer care to know whther the account has been credited of just a merely 100 rs .And to call after 5 days to give a complaint .what has to be done.So he means that he is confident that atleast it will take 5 days to get recharged through internet of 100 rs so whats if its a huge amount .( the comment of 5 day complaint was given to us by mr abhishek singh dont know which branch )

                      The recharge of Rs. 205.00 on the 20th of July, 2013 not credited into my no. [protected] and also a sum of Rs. 205.00 has not been credited to mobile no. [protected], which belongs to my wife. More than 40 hours has past since the recharge but I am yet to get the benefits. The vodafone customer care is not paying any heed to my requests. I want the amount credited to my aforesaid mobile nos. with interest. I have suffered a great deal due to their negligency.

                        Its deeply regrettable that I am being harassed by your company for every small thing.

                        I am a post paid customer. on August I got this new post paid connection. As there was no drop box in Trivandrum or due to unavailability of Cheque collection agents, I decided to go in for a standing instruction. I have given a written request in the first week of September to charge my credit card every month according to my usage.

                        Two days back, after a long struggle, i came to know that my request for standing instruction has been entered in your system and my mode of payment is through credit card.

                        Today I was called by some of your executive and told that I have to make my payment directly, as the standing instruction is not active.

                        I really wonder how there is such a delay in activation of a standing instruction self signed by me. Evenif there was any delay; Your company should have informed me much before.

                        I am totally dejected by the service you have given me, in the past two months.

                        Hopefully this mail will bring in some good changes in the service provided to your post paid customers.

                          I have been using a vodafone no. for last 5 years. I used to get call from vodafone that i should take an add on connection. after lot of persuassion by the agents, i called them to my office to have an add-on connection. the agent came to my office on 01/07/2008 and after taking my ID proof and Rs 250 gave a sim. The reciept was from M/s Intouch Solutions. I never activated that sim as I did not have a spare cell phone. To my utter surprise in the month of August I got a bill of Rs. 2652.94. I immediately called the Vodafone helpline no. the executive said that I have to visit a vodafone store for this. so i went to Vodafone store at Daryaganj, Delhi on 13/08/2008 and got my complaint registered. My complaint was taken and the complaint no. [protected] was given to me. It was told to me that, the no, which was allotted to me has been activated on another sim and that sim was used by some other person. I was told that I will not be disturbed again and the amount paid by me will be given back to me and the sim wil be collected by an agent of the company from me. i kept on waiting but nobady came. Again in the month of september I recived another bill for Rs. 5615.42. I was very disturbed. I again went to Vodafone Store at Daryaganj and reported the matter. It was fopund that even after registeration of complaint, the phone was not deactivated and it kept on warking and only on 30th September, the phone was deactivated. this is such a gross negligence on behalf of the company, which is causing mental distubance and tension to a loyal customer who has been with company fro more than 5 years. I was gain made to write a written complaint, which i did and gave my id proof again. From last 4-5 days i have been getting cals from Vodafone that I have outstanding bill against my name for that no. which i have never used. This is so disturbing and shows how vodafone is functioning. I would request you to please help me in this matter and get this complaint to the concerned persons.

                          Dear Sir/Madam

                          With respect to you i would like to make a complain that the Cell no which Vodafone Essar ltd have alloted to me [protected] in the name of Kapil Maheshwari was previously been holded by some person name Mohmad Yusaf Patni.
                          With the staff knowledge i have been given this no which was not disclosed to me at the time of allotment.I have been troubled by phone calls for the inquiry about the previous holder of the card.It has been a problem for me to handle the same.I want to file a complain as to why was i alloted and was not disclosed about the information for the above said owner Mr:Mohmad Yusaf Patni.
                          I thought that this might end up soon but the no of calls now has risen up and have disturbed me in my job.
                          This has been a pain as the calls are flooded in the early mornings and when i am in meetings.I get the statement of the bank and LIC information about Mr:Mohmad Yusaf Patni.
                          Was ant this a duty of Vodafone Essar ltd to provide me fresh Cell no.
                          I hope that my complaint is taken seriously.

                              GOT A PHONE CALL FROM VODAFONE, THRISSUR TODAY EVENING AT 06-15PM, SAYING THAT MY ABOVE MOBILE NO IS GOING TO CUT OFF FROM TONITE SINCE THE VALIDITY IS GETTING EXPIRED. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY SMS FROM VODAFONE REMINDING ME ABOUT THIS EXPIRY DATE.HOW CAN VODAFONE CALL ME AND TELL ME ALL ON A SUDDEN TO DO THE RECHARGE FOR RS.151.00, TO AVOID CUT OFF. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. YET I RUSHED TO THE NEAREST RECHARGE SHOPPE (RITCHIES, PALLIMOOLA) BUT THEY COULDNT DIRECT ME PROPERLY.I TALKED TO ONE OF VODAFONE REPRESENTATIVE (MR.JAYADEVAN, MOB NO.[protected]) BUT HE ALSO DONT KNOW HOW TO HELP ME.
                              IS THIS THE SERVICE VODAFONE, ONE OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST MOBILE SERVICE PROVIDER, OFFER ITS CUSTOMERS IN INDIA?? I CAN SEE FROM THIS EXPERIENCE THAT VODAFONE OFFICE STAFF DONT HAVE AN ORGANISED SYSTEM TO REMIND ITS CUSTOMERS ABOUT THEIR EXPIRY DATES. THE DEALERS DONT KNOW HOW TO HELP THE CUSTOMERS BY SELLING THE EXACT VODAFONE PRODUCTS.AND LASTLY, THE REPRESENTATIVES ARE NEVER TRAINED AND BRIEFED TO LISTEN TO CUSTOMERS' VARIOUS PROBLEMS AND SOLVE IT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, WITHOUT ANY HAZZLE TO THE CUSTOMER.
                              NOW THE END RESULT IS VODAFONE IS LOSING A CUSTOMER. BUT I WONT FORGET TO TELL EVERY ONE OF MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES ABOUT THIS INCIDENT.                                 This is a complaint from the whole community.We do not want a vodafone tower next to our houses.We live in a small village called Vashisht, in Manali, H.P, India.It is a hilly area so the the radiation from the tower hits all of our houses, we have done a lot of research about phone towers, since this tower has started going up and it is harmfull to our health.No one told us that they were puting up a phone tower, no one asked us if it was...

                                Sir,
                                I, Aditya Deorha, bought "campus sim" of vodafone, on 25-09-08 for a payment of 150 Rs from Jay Communication, Shop no. 4, 205F, Munirka Market. On 29-09-08 AT 11:17 AM i got a message from Vodafone which was, "IMPORTANT! CLIP ON YOUR VODAFONE MOBILE PHONE WILL BE BARRED DUE TO NON SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS. PLS SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS IN 24HR TO AVOID CLIP BARRING." At 19:07 on the same day i got a message saying that my youth service pack has been deactivated, which was supposed to continue for 2 months.
                                on repeated calls to customer care i realized that i must wait till next afternoon at 12 to check for certain whether my documents have been verified or not. Next day when i called up, my address and name etc was asked and the number as activated, but my call charges continued to be 1 rupee to any mobile number and 2 rs to landline.

                                i called up today as well and was told that my number had been pre activated on 7th june 2008. my validity shows that it expires on 25-09-09 therefore i had no way of knowing that the youth service pack had been pre activated. The dealer told me that there are many other numbers which are facing the same problem and is asking me to wait till friday morning. Its impossible that i do not make calls in this period and i have already incurred a good amount of loss over the last 2 days. The dealer has been chosen by you to distribute the number and it is as much as his responsibility as yours to ensure that the service is activated when the number is being sold to someone.

                                Either i get the compensation for the 3 months of youth service pack which has been deactivated, i.e. 50 rupees for each month or you reactivate it. i will be following up on the dealer on this, but if he doesnt cooperate, the onus falls on you to instruct him to give justice.

                                i want a reply and preferably phone number of your complaint service centre so that things can be rectified as soon as possible.

                                  Vodafone signal coverage is very week in Bagmane Tech park area (CV Raman Nagar). I made so many complaints. And every time I made complaint I have to wait for 1 day for acknowledgment. Then next day I receive a mail - ask lot of questions like How many bars appear in your mobile, which are it shows in your mobile, daily how many hours signal you get, when signal gets broken which are name it displays. And at the end they assures that they will contact us. But after 1 week When asked why didn't get me back. The response is - we tried to call you on your mobile, but are not reachable.

                                  Here the funny part is - complaint is made reasoning poor signal coverage and how can they expect to contact me on my mobile (This is the real problem). I answered their funny questions in all mails and waited for 2 months in the same fashion. No improvement in the situation. So finally disconnected the number.

                                    I am a prepaid user. Name Dharamveer Sharma from Agra. Phone no.[protected]. Earlier Co. sent a SMS to my phone that please save gprs/mms settings in your phone. And there was also a next sms from "service provider" that after saving you can enjoy vodafone live. In these two SMSs there was no any indicaion of cost or charges for these services. I followed these two SMSs and after long pressing "0" in my phone on 8.06.08 I got display of vodafone live in my phone. And when Vodafone live was displyaing in my phone -there was a window "download free pictures of Pamela". I saved 3 pictures of Pamela which was claimed free by vodafone live execpt these I did nothing. And next day i.e.on 10.06.08 my phone indicated me that I was charged for this with nearly Rs.110/. It is Pure Fraud by Co. with me because:-
                                    1. Firstly I have already registered "DND" then why so SMSs are sent to me.
                                    2.When Co. neither showed any indication of any charges in these two SMSs nor for using of vodafone live or when "vodafone live" was displaying in my phone, then charging of Rs.110/- is hidden "charging" and it is clear fraud with innocent users. The services which was displaying in with fees or charges in vodafone live, those was not used by me. I used only saving of "free" pictures.
                                    3. I am a lawyer And I want to take up this metter to regulatory authority "TRY" and after this to "Consumer Court." that Co. without giving any indication of charges or fees or by showing "free" is charging with customers hiddenly. It is clear fraud.
                                    4. About this bad workI suddenly talked to your care centre at "111" and nearest customer care centre at "Agra vodafone store" but both of them not filed my complaint or gave me satisfactory answer..
                                    5.You are requested to wave these charges and look in to the matter as earliest possible.
