The customer care IVR of Vodafone does not provide an option to reach or contact a customer care executive.....
I am using a post paid SIM of Vodafone in Rajasthan......when ever there is a problem of any kind.....I am unable to contact a customer care executive who can help resolve my problem.............121 facility of Vodafone in Rajasthan is poor...............even when u select the language option as 'english', u hear the conversation in hindi only..............
I face the same issue in Bangalore .. Not able to talk to vodafone representative to IVR menu

    Please send BILL(space)FIRST THREE LETTERS OF THE MONTH to 144 to get your prepaid bill. For example, for the month of SEPTEMBER, please send BILL SEP to 144. Please be informed that only outgoing details are available and you will not receive the incoming call, missed call details or messages received on your number. And you will be able to request for the last 6 months invoices only. Please note that you will receive the bill at your registered billing address only after we receive the request from your end.

      I AM A VODAFONE CUSTOMER ,MOBILE NUMBER [protected],BANGALORE ,KARNATAKA REGION.FROM LAST ONE AND A HALF MONTH I AM GETTING SMS FROM VODAFONE REGARDING THAT STAR TALK SERVICE ,EVERY WEEK I GET ONE MESSAGE FROM THE VODAFONE NUMBER 54545 THAT I CAN TALK TO SOME ACTOR OR ACTRESS FOR WHICH Rs 15 WILL BE DEDUCTED AND CALL WILL CHARGE Rs 2 PER MINUTE ,EVERY WEEK THEY DEDUCT 15 Rs FROM MY BALANCE SOMETIMES TWICE A WEEK AND AFTER THAT THEY KEEP ON SENDING ME MESSAGES REGARDING THE TIME AT WHICH I CAN MAKE A CALL AND TALK TO STARS .

      I am getting the same problem since the past 6 months...vodafone is not resolving...a Star talk service is getting activated every 15 days and each time i lose 49 rs...im in kolkata, india...the phone belongs to my grandmother who cannot even understand the messages...and the Vodfone idea customer care exec says that star talk is not their service and cant do anything...even put Full DND...but still getting these messages...any solution is much appreciated

        Hi,
        This is my 2nd complaint against Vodafone in Consumercomplaints.in....After putting the same complaint before 1 month I thought next time onwards I never ever have to put any complaints against Vodafone. But I was absolutely wrong....Before 1 month Rs. 500/- was deducted from my bank accounts & mobile didn't get recharged. At that time I called up customer care for Minimum 15 days & after then I put a complaints in consumercomplaints .in & after 20 days of deduction I got the amounts back when the people of Vodafone always assure that the deducted amount will revert back to account by 3 working days.

        We people always call up the customer care executives of Vodafone & the charges for that also beared by us for a single issue.

        This time I recharged my mobile with Rs. 99 Bonus Card through Oriental Bank of Commerce dated on April 15,2011..First time my mobile did not get recharged so that i had to do it for second time.. Second time it got recharged..But the deducted amount for the first time (rs.99/-) till now not reverted back to my account..

        Now-days it's going to be a serious issue for we people who always busy at their life & after then for each & every reimbursement they need to give reminder to Vodafone or have to call up Vodafone Customer Care to raise up the income of Vodafone..

        If you are not credit back my Rs. 99/- within next 2 working days then I would prefer to forward this mail to the top authority of Vodafone as already 8 working days are over.

        Dear Sir/ Madam,
        I had tried to recharge my vodafone mobile (Mob No. - [protected]) with the recharge amount Rs. 320/- by using Oriental Bank of Commerce Net Banking facility on 28-02-11. I had tried to recharge twice, but both the times the amount of Rs. 320/- & Rs. 320/- ( Total Amount Rs. 640/-) got debited from my account but the mobile was not recharged either time. Third time again I had tried and finally it got recharged.

        Since that period I had called Vodafone Customer Care for 4-5 times & every time they told me the amount will credited back to my account by next 5 days or next 48 hours or by 2 days. But till now the amount is not showing in my account balance. Now they are saying that the amount has already been credited back to your account when in reality it's not. Even I had asked for some proof from them to chase my Bank but even they are not ready to provide that too.

        I had called Vodafone for several time but they are not responding my request properly & even not ready to help me to get back my Rs. 640/-.

        Please do the needful at the earliest.

          I am a Vodafone Prepaid Customer in Kolkata (Prepaid Mbl No:[protected]).
          Y/day evening I got one messages from Vodafone that “as your request vodafone International Match Day”,service has been activated, per day Rs 5/- will be charged as service rental …………..”& they deducted Rs.5/- from my mobile’s account. But I didn't made any request for this so called service “International Match Day”, Then I spoke to your customer service number about this matter they advice me please register your phone as “DND (Don’t disturb) reg Group”, also they advice if you didn’t like this service pl. write a msg “CAN IMD” & send to 144. I done all as they told like DND Registration & Msg for cancelation service.

          Today evening I also get one another messages from Vodafone that “as your request vodafone Daily value Combo Service has been activated, per day Rs 2/- will be charged as service rental …………..”& they deducted Rs.2/- from my mobile’s account. But I didn't made any request for this so called service,

          My question why Vodafone started this type of PICK POCKET Business. , Is it not your minimum responsibility to send a request to customer for confirming weather this facility enable or not.

          I request you to stop sending all types o[censored]nwanted messages and service to my number (pls note the Govt order reg. this).I also request you please refill the amount which you deducted from my account. I am waiting for your kind immediate reply. pls note that if you are not responding properly I will send this complaint to TRAI(Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) and all major News Papers in India.

          I'm an another Vodafone Prepaid customer from Bangalore who is affected with this. Vodafone keeps deducting Rs 5/- from my mobile's account for this "International Match Service ", although I've never subscribed to any such service. As suggested by the Customer Service, i sent a message to 144 as "CAN IMD". I received a message shortly saying the Service has been deactivated.

          But the very next day, I started receiving the same Match alerts and my account gets deducted each time.

          Please stop this service as it is very irritating that my account gets deducted for no reason.
          Expecting a response from you on this soon.

            My number is [protected]. One 20th April, about 14:00 hrs I received a message saying as per your request, caller tunes has been activated. I was aware of the fraud, so I immediately called the IVR and deactivated in 10 mins. I got messages for both, activation as well as deactivation. But my balance was reduced by Rs. 30 for the rental. Ever since, I have asked for last five transactions, by sending sms FIVE to 111, the details are provided only till 11 am on 20th April, while its 24th April today. I seems that Vodafone do not want to give me evidence that they have deducted Rs.30 from my account. I moved to Vodafone, via MNP and found that a lot of issues are unadressed by Vodafone: a) Unasked subscriptions, b) IVR not connecting to Call Center, c) MNP subscribers not able to recharge online/eRecharge, d) Vodafone store is full of complaining people, takes at least an hour to be able to reach an executive, and I am sure, there are more, that I am yet to experience... It surprising how Vodafone, being such a large player, is not able to take care of these issues? These are so petty and silly things...

            Hi Vodafone Customer Care, I am surprised, how you are unable to reach me... The first thing I gave above, was my cell number.. All other people offering credit card, loans, holidays etc are able to reach me and you are not... do you even have network at your place of office ? I doubt it?

            Also, I had already left a message on the provided link about 8 days ago, for which you are yet to contact me or provide feedback... My emails to your mumbai customer care id are being responded with a gap of more than 20 days and that too with vague information...

            Please write here, what more details do you want ? my comments on the provided link are not visible to other members and I want you to clarify me on the above raised issues so that all others can note what you have got to say on this...
            It appears, there is no point putting my say here... I dont think that these vodafone people even have an account with this site, to read, respond and resolve... all the threads I see, the same bloody message to use the link and provide more details...they are definately not gonna respond... totally dumb people are working in Vodafone...!@#$%^&*... so many days have passed, hey have not bothered about my message... no one is hearing this...

              Hello ,

              This is prasenjit bharati using a vodafone no [protected] for the last 5 years.I am a Predpaid customer.
              I was very much satisfied with the service.Recently,I am facing problem.Few days ago,I recharged with a Rs.98 for 2gb surfing .Few days later,suddenly my balance shows negative Rs.-4312/- [minus(-) 4312].
              I spoke to customer care & said that I surfed the internet after completing 2gb & thts why my balance went Rs.-4312/-.I used only 400mb extra.Becoz of the prepaid customer I am paid only for 2gb & I don’t want more than 2 gb.As a end user how can I know when it finished 2 gb.I didn’t get any sms from vodafone regarding surfing balance.As AIRTEL checks real time surfing balance & inform prepaid customer about the surfing balacne & stops the service.

              The customer care said Vodafone does not check real time surfing balance,it checks offline.Its a disadvantage of vodafone & gap in the service.

              Now my questions is when it goes zero [0] main balance we cant make a single call at that time but we can surf the internet. Whats the logic behind it . I am really upset with the vodafone service.

              After finished my prepaid 2gb surfing it deducted the bal from my main balance,th's ok but after main balance reaches zero or ' 0 ' the service should be stopped.Vodafone didn't stop the service and made my balacne negative Rs.-4312/-.

              After few days later i contacted with the nodal officer & she did nothing.

              Sir/Mam,I don’t want to loose this no.[protected].Kindly look into this matter.Please make by balance zero balacne [ ‘0’ balance] so that I can recharge this number for furthur use.As a loyal customer of vodafone & goodwill of me please make my balance zero balance so that I can use this no. for the rest of my life.

                  The unknown person with the number [protected] has been sending vulgar and inappropriate messages and has been calling nearly 30 times a day. The phone number is a vodaphone number and GSM service. I would kindly request you to please take a necessary and severe action such that i dont receive any unwanted messages or calls from this number.

                    my mobile no.is [protected].i hav taken vodafone services,but due to network problem,i want to port to tataindicom.i hav generated porting code on 2 april 2011.and submitted all my documents to tataindicom dealer(bas khera,varanasi u.p.) but till now 21 april 2011,my number is not ported to tata indicom.service provider is complaining of that due to upc mismatch number can not be ported.this is company fault so why customer suffer.plz do needful.my alternative no.[protected].

                      Dear Sir,

                      I want to lodge a complain against my telephone service provider- VODAFONE.

                      I wanted to port my no. to Idea and Vodafone customer care told me to pay my bills and transfer the no.

                      I walked into Vodafone store and paid all my bills in advance and gave them a written application to stop my ECS PAYMENT from my ICICI bank account.
                      I also went to ICICI and instructed them aswell to stop my ECS payment to VODAFONE. MY BANK TOOK MY REQUEST AND ASSURED ME NO ECS TO VODAFONE.

                      I have all the supporting documents for payments made and requests submitted.

                      Vodafone still debited my bank account and took a double payment from me.
                      I got harrassed by their CSRs and everyone refused to pay my money back or tell me what to do.

                      As a result of this, I lost my time, money and health due to stress.

                      I would want to take legal action against them for giving MISLEADING INFORMATION to me.

                      Please help and advise what can I do.

                      my vodafone no. is- [protected] region- Maharashtra & Goa.I have also submitted the same complaint with Telecom Regulatory Authority of India but have not received any answer so far.

                        Vodafone 225 — Deduction of balance for nothing

                        I got a vodafone bundle pack with which i got bonus cards. one of the bonus card was the free callertune. i got the free caller tune for one month and i was told that i'l be getting a call on the 30th day about continueing this facility. i didn't get any call from the vodafone people and the next day 30 rupees were deducted from my account. vodafone is a nice cheating service and now after this incident i've changed my connetion to Airtel.
                        vodafone is a bad network.

                        Vodafone 225 — extra RS.200 taken

                        i am living at parbhani(maharashtra). i have taken 'vodafone225' on date 1/aug/2008 .my vodafone number is [protected] .for this phone i have given RS.1600/ as you declare on your website the actual prise of this phone is RS.1399/ so please return me RS.200 / and take action .
                        Deduction in my balance from Rs.153 to Rs.123 by charging the charges for caller tunes.

                        I remember that I didnt activated any such scheme.

                        By complaining in the coustmercare they asked that consumer has
                        activated the same at 11:50 pm on 21 June 2010.

                        hi.i activated gprs 95rs plan .but ididn't got 2gb data as par plan .i called many times to customer care but nothing worked.even now i can't talk to customer care executive .they might blocked my number.

                        Automatically Zeedito service activated after[protected]. I call on customer care at 198, a guy received the call and he was not giving correct answer &, when I asked him to give me answer he kept me on Hold for approx 12 min &, call got disconnected from customer care side.
                        This is the way Vodaphone treats there customer?

                          I have purchased Internet connection from vodafone through Datasys E-Services Private Limited (Associate of Vodafone). They provide me a SIM card in 250 Rs and told me that they will give USB Stick within 2 Days and that time i have to pay them 1250 Rs but i have not got any USB Stick even they are not picking up my call. Than i visit vodafone mini store they told me that SIM is free for which they charged me 250 Rs and USB Stick price is 1500 Rs. Now either i have to purchsed USB Stick in 1500 Rs but what happen to 250 Rs which i already paid to Datasys E-Services Private Limited (Associate of Vodafone).
                          So, Kindly help me to sort out this issue. I will be thankful to you.

                              HI im activated Gprs connection 3days back, its activated in my mobil but till now i didnt get the gprs settings...i calledup several times to customer center in bangalore, then i sent to lot of message for the setings .Im having Sonyericssion handest(W700i) but nobady will take care of this .without get settings how can i access Gprs, im realy fedup for this, i expecting rply from vodafone

                              I had activated GPRS after calling the Customer care. The Guides give by executive is not good and even after i activated as per instruction then also i was unable to receive MMS messages. again i called then some other person tell me your GPRS is not activated. i requested them for connecting the team leader. but they put me on hold but team lead didn't turn this happen more than 1's. then again i ask then other executive told already your GPRS is activated but then also i was unable to receive mms. after all i loss time and mental pressure, i am now also unable to receive mms on my number.                               I have been using vodafone prepaid more than 2.5 years and activated GPRS more than 1year everyday facing the problem while using GPRS for past 1 month. While contacting the customer care regarding this that they have adviced me to receive a Setting file every time and no other choice for it .you can contact Vodafone Store for more details . so that i had gone to vodafone Store Vadapalani
                              ( Chennai-Tamilnadu) where the response is very worst.Really i was depressed with the GPRS person and his answers on that store.
                              It made me to think at that time why should i use Vodafone .

                              I did a E-recharge of Rs-95/- so that i will get 50 MB data usage free.At that time i had a talk time balance of 232.But with one day browsing in my phone i lost my balance and balance became -.50ps.Every time after the browsing i checked the balance at that time it was alright but suddenly i lost the gprs connection and i lost my whole balance.I didn't used 50MB of data i called the customer care but no use, they will either cut the phone or will say the system is updating call after some time.And after some days i got a message that GPRS 75 was freely activated for me so that i can use 30 MB of free data so i started browsing and i checked the balance it was alright they didnt charged but after some time when i checked i lost the balance.

                              on the 7 sept i have done 11 rupee recharge of gprs pack and there is autorenewal process has to take place on 4 day. but on 3rd day send sms
                              DACT GPRS11 TO 144.
                              TO DEACTIVATE GPRS PACK.and respond came that it will be deactivated in 4 hours.but on 4th day service is autorenewed without my confirmation.when i dialed 198 to complaint for it,then i found taht my customer care service is prohibited.my rs 11 is deducted from my balance.
                              this is not the first time,but 15 days before they have deducted 8 rupree for using gprs,but i have not used gprs.
                              before also they have deducted lot of my balance.

                              I recharged with 95Rs 1GB but not able to connect to internet. 198 toll free number when dialed saying it is a wrong number you have dialed. when I call vcare I did not get the correct response. They deducted 13.8 Rs for calling vcare still not solved the problem. I am getting please submit the document message from vcare which I have submitted twice. It really better to migrate from Vodafone to other.([protected])

                                3g USB Stick Wrong information

                                I was sold Vodafone 3G USB dongle on Feb - 2011 for Rs 1500/- at vodafone vashi store. I was told that the unlimited usage
                                plan of Rs 599 will work on 2G as well as 3G network.

                                When I questioned that how I would get 3g speed at this much cost, I was again told that as you are existing customer.
                                when 3g broadband would be launched I would get the same speed on existing plan and I would not require to change plan.

                                Every time I use to call up I was told the same thing and now when I approached Vodafone customer care I found out that this plan is
                                applicable only on 2G network and the charges will be different for 3G network. I was shocked to know that I was fooled to believe
                                that I could use this plan for both 2G and 3G network.

                                I requested them to take back USB dongle and refund me the money. I was advised by Vodafone care executive to go to Vodafone Care Centre for refund.
                                When I approached Vodafone care centre they refused to take back. I again called Vodafone care and they said it can’t be returned. This is a case of
                                Misstatements of facts and incomplete information given to me and inducing me to buy the USB 3G dongle.

                                Again on 17’Th of April I went to Vodafone store Vashi and spoke with the manager over there. She said that as you are existing customer you would be
                                able to use 3g speed at plan of Rs 599. (Even she was under same impression. The same thing was told to me by Vodafone Chembur store)
                                Then just to confirm she called up somewhere and then said, sorry you will have to go for the new 3g plan.

                                I asked her why I was given wrong information; she said that even we were not aware of these things at that time (Feb 2011 to 17 April 2011)

                                The plans are given and you have not mentioned that these plans are for 2g network.

                                They said that you can not get the refund for the USB stick.

                                Sincerely speaking I had got worst response of my life from Vodafone Vashi store. They just laugh when you tell them your concern.
                                I wanted to buy a 3G USB stick and looked at the several options available in the market until 12th March, when I walked into the Vodafone gallery at Wakdewadi, Pune. I spoke to an executive named Vipul and asked him about the Vodafone 3G USB stick and plans thereon. He explained that the USB stick costs Rs. 1500 also showed me a data enrollment form which mentioned a few plans. One of them was an unlimited plan with the cost being Rs 599 every month. Vipul explained I could surf 3G unlimited for Rs 599. I told him that I was a bit surprised as all the other operators offered 1GB at Rs 650 and this was a really exciting plan. I asked him many times if he was sure that I will get 3G speed and that too unlimited for the said amount. He replied with a big YES.I had also visited two more vodafone stores in pune where I got the same information. I had read all the terms and conditions on the data enrollment form where they not mentioned any it is GPRS plan or 3G Plan or any speed regarding internet speed.
                                The USB stick worked fine and gave 3G speed till 10th april. However, after the 10th of April, the I was able to get only a normal GPRS signal. I called up customer support and they told me that my 3G account has been deactivated. I was not given a reason why this happened. I walked into the Vodafone gallery again the next day and lodged a complaint. I was told that I cannot get 3G speed as I had signed up for a normal 2G plan which would give me unlimited internet at Rs 599. I asked why I had been promised 3G unlimited for Rs599.Vipul did a complete U-turn and said that he had never promised me anything. He had no explanation for that.
                                I called vodafone customer care several times but they never responded to my complaint. Every time called up them, they told me that my mobile was switched off so they were not able to contact me.
                                I was really frustrated with vodafone services.So I lastly lodge the complaint againt the vodafone Essar in the consumer court on 12th of may.
                                Now i have sufficent evidence and proof to go against vodafone but i need all you guys to provide me more evidence to hit vodafone really hard.So i can win the case and vodafone will never think to play such kind of frauds.

                                  No, in this instance, fake lottery SMS was sent to presumable a million Delhi citizens, from Vodafone moblle [protected]. The sender can be identified in 5 minutes. Country should stop tolerating such scam and struggle for arrest of Delhi Police Commissioner for inaction.
                                  A Vodafone customer, with photoidentity in custody of Vodafone, sent fake lottery SMS to 10 lakh people asking them to claim cash prize of 3.5 crore GBP. I spent time and money, complaining/reminding EVERYDAY to Vodafone, TRAI, DOT, Communication Minister, Police Commissioner, Prime Minister, President, media. After sustained reminders for 13 days, I received fake lottery SMS from same Vodafone mobile and with same content. Can there be any doubts that both police commissioner and communication minister are sharing the booty? How can nation tolerate Kapil Sibal on Lokpal bill committee? Total fake lottery money in two SMSs : Rs[protected] x 2000000 = Rs7, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 I don't know how to state that sum in words. When I was at school, a billion had 12 zeros, at medical college, a billion had 9 zeros. I don't know if 7000 kharabs makes a valid statement in words - I don't know units beyond kharab.                                     Vodafone network problems are horrible!!
                                    Since yesterday at 10, I have not been able to make outgoing calls or SMS or even receive incoming calls or SMS.
                                    At first, Vodafone guys tried to blame my handset for it and made me try all sorts of rebooting methods and even asked me to change the Access Point settings on my mobile phone.
                                    When nothing worked, they accepted that its a problem with their base stations in Delhi and that several customers (the customer care agent told me 4.3 lacs customers!!!) in Delhi have been facing this problem since 19 the April morning.
                                    All along they have been telling me that they are sorting the problem out at their end and that I should wait for a "couple" of hours...or that they have "forwarded" my number to higher up....what the hell does forwarding my number do for me if the problem is not solved???!!!

                                    Well, Vodafone I have waited for 24 hours now and I AM FED UP WITH YOU!!

                                    So after being associated with Vodafone as a "high revenue" post-paid customer for 8 years, I am switching my service provider.

                                    Not just because they have utterly failed to solve the problem even today (more than 24 hours after this problem started), but more because of how they have handled this problem by giving me repeated false commitments!!

                                    The network problem still remains...unable to make or receive any phone calls & SMS for 3 straight days now!
                                    And now Vodafone is totally denying the problem saying that they have corrected the network problem from their end yesterday. On my asking why my services are still not working they have no answers...they are again asking me to reboot my phone.
                                    How dumb does Vodafone think consumers are???!!! Does Vodfone seriously think anyone will believe their shameless lies!!??

                                    PS: Yesterday, I have applied to switch my business to Airtel.

                                        I recently puchased vodafone USB stick in which Vadafone claimed that they are giving u unlimited on 599 Rs + Tax. in which you will get minimum speed of 1.0 mbps to 3.1 mbps, but actually my downloading speed is just 1 kbps, which is a huge difference between what they claim and what i am getting, my SIM no is [protected].

                                        I have already logged my complain to Vodafone complaints but I didn't got any response from vodafone. I called so many time to Vodafone person who sold me this USB stick but he did not receive my phone calls. I also called to vodafone customer care they suggested me several options which I have already tried. After that CC executive told me that they can not help me further on this.. I am shocked with this comment of CC executive because at the time of purchasing the stick vodafone gave me several commitment like internet speed you will get is 1.0 Mbps to 3.1 Mbps . Currently I am getting speed of 16 kbps to 47 Kbps and sometimes it show speed in 16 bps to 0 bps.. Please help!!
