Dear sir, I am Vimal from Chennai. A week before i noticed a advertisement in thina thanthi paper regarding tower fixation for rent. So i called them to enquire about the details. They attended the call and told me to deposit the amount of Rs.5500 to their bank account and once the amount is credited they will send a letter which contains the rent details and they told that some people will visit the site and they will confirm it, whether they like the place or not. they told me that sure you can believe us. since they told like that, i believed them and credited the amount to their bank account. after crediting the amount they are not at all picking up my call, and the number is in switch off mode too.
but daily they are giving the same advertisement but with different numbers.

That lady name is Ramya. and the company name is CROMA TOWERS PVT.LTD and the account name is mohit kumar shakwat.

(( pls help me to find a solution. how to deal with this problem.))

Pl lodge a complaint with the polce immiedietly as this seems to be a big rocket and more people will be cheated.You can give the account no. their advertisement copy, phone no etc.You may also write to the Police Commissioner Thiru.Rajendran, who will certainly help you and nab the culprit.
hi, i am radhika from coimbatore. i have seen advertisement in daily thanthi stating the similar statement as mentioned above. i have paid Rs. 6050 in SBI a/c in the name Solai samy.
They have also told me to pay another 25000. I request you to help me in this issue. i.e whether the company is true or fake.

Hello friends-i tried the same number from the hindu and the address she gave for chroma tower is fake and it was easy to find out she was a fraud-she gave an account number with icici bank number[protected]munna lal-and asked 5500rs-i hope people read this for finding fakes-she is using a new name called jasmine
I am posting these comments for showing people the frauds happening around us-kindly be careful about this scams-its almost like finance company where they give 20% interest and pull customers-be very careful only hard earned money sticks
I also Called the Tel # mentioned in the HINDU, and also told to deposit Rs 5200. into ICICI account. I doughted the genuiness and called up ICICI to check and also investigate the matter. The name mentioned was MUNNALAL. I think THE HINDU also shld check the background of people giving such Advt. in PUBLIC INTERST.

TOWER FIXATION FOR RENT
Dear sir, I am brother of Mr Sumer Singh resident of Dhani Jhalda, Vill-Jorawarnagar, Teh-Shrimadhopur, Dist-Sikar (Raj)-332708. during Feb 2011 my brother noticed a advertisement in news paper regarding tower fixation for rent. So he called them to enquire about the details. They attended the call and told him to deposit the amount of Rs.5900 to their bank account (PNB) [protected] in the name of Vivekanand and once the amount is credited they will send a letter which contains the rent details he RECIVED CROMA TOWER PVT. LTD. RENTEL AGREEMENT LATTER for Virgin Mov Tower.GIVE ME 70, 000 MOUNTHLY RENT & 44, 00, 000 DIPOSIT. they ASKED my brother to PAY GOVT. TAX RS.41500 in A/C. No [protected] of P Kumar Rs.25000/- and in A/C No [protected] of Bhanu Manchanda Rs.16500/- . The same amount has also been deposited by my brother on 14 Mar 2011 in SBI, Shrimadhopur. My brother is a farmer and taken loan on interest for the same.

They told that some people will visit the site and they will confirm it, whether they like the place or not. they told my self and my brother telephonically (Ms Roshni, Asst Manager of the Croma Towers Tele No [protected]) she also confirms myself on 18 Mar 2011 that servay team will visit your loc on 21 Mar 2011. My brother confirms that there is no one has visited till 1800h on 21 Mar 2011.since they told like that, he believed them and credited the amount to their bank account. after crediting the amount they are not at all picking up his/my call. I see add at thinakaren news paper. and I deposited rs.5600 & rs.35000 after deposited there is no response from there so I decided to gave complaint in police station at the time I give a chance to call me at one week else I gave complaint then to take necessary action about your company.

I had got a msg. regarding the same offer, fixation of Tower in vacant land for Rs. 70000.00 Rs.55 lakh deposit, I called and enquired about same and was asked my location address and was told if site is selected, I have to pay Rs. 4550 as registration charges and the lady was very much hurry to get me deposit the amount at the earliest, than I got a doubt if such a big project why they are behaving like so much hurry, than I goggled on internet and found all these stories and got to know this is all fraud.

These people are Fraud and I request all, if you come across any kind of such things before proceeding further, pls check on internet about the company and the status and don't fall prey to these people. The lady who called me is going to call me again tomorrow and her number is [protected], if any one want to take any action can call and trace them.

Be alert and don't fall prey to these fraud people

we buy mirowave oven on 23/11/2014 but after a 72 hours nobody come to installation

    I bought an Acer Laptop on 21st June, 2009 from Croma, Indirapuram. Along with the product, I also purchased extended warranty (invoice No.[protected]. In August 2010, Laptop crashed. I lodged a complaint no. 2809 with Croma Extended Warranty help desk. They told me to submit laptop with RT Servives in Nehru place. This was done on 4th Sept, 2010. Till now, I have not received my Laptop back. They are saying that Mother Board is not available. I am sure, some problem somewhere. I have lodged sevaral complaints with them and they are closing them. Details:
    Tata Croma : 12th Oct, 2010. 177/121010/Notebooks/113735'
    Tata Croma: 16th Oct, 2010. 177/161010/Notebooks/114905'

    Tata Croma Desk gave me number of Mr. Vijay Gujju from RT Services. Everytime I call him, he puts me into conference with a lady and lady says "Vendor says that Mother board is out of stock".

    Once another lady called me from RT, Nehru place and she also said the same that Motherboard is out of stock. Now its 3 Months, I fail to understand the inability of a TATA barnd to procure motherboard for a consumer who is under extended warranty.

    I am suffering a lot please. I have taken a Laptop on rental for my father due to all this mess. Please help me.

    यदि आप ऐसे किसी आफर के झांसे में फंसने जा रहे हों तो पहले उसके सबूत रख लें कि इस तरह का कोइ आफर भी चल रहा है, क्योंकि यह कैश बैक लेने के लिए आपको उपभोक्ता फोरम भी जाना पड़ सकता है, लेकिन वहां मौखिक वादे के भरोसे तो सुनवाई नहीं हो पायेगी. फिर या तो खुद को ठगा हुआ मानकर मन मसोस कर रह जाना पड़ेगा या फिर लगाते रहिये क्रोमा के चक्कर. शायद इस चक्कर में ही आप कुछ और खरीद ले. यह है क्रोमा की हिडेन पालिसी.
    जिस परेशानी और मानसिक पीड़ा से मैं गुजर रहा हूं, ऐसी नौबत आपके साथ न आये, इसी कामना के साथ मैं आपको सावधान कर रहा हूं, बस.

      I bought a Visenta V1 wireless keyboard from Croma, Gharkopar on 21/03/2010. I also join their extended warranty plan by giving few extra rupees. At the time of purchase the croma salesman said that I can come to croma store if it gets some bug or not working. In few months keyboard stopped working. I went to croma store on 01/10/2010 as my keyboard is in warranty. Initially they denied for service saying you will have to go to service centre for repair or replacement. I waited for half an hour and then discussion of half an hour more they agreed to take it but said it may take months. The guy who handled my case was very rude and since I forced him to take the keyboard he vaguely said it will take there months. I feel that he will make sure it take at-least four months. Today, after a month I called them asking about the status, and the same guy told me that keyboard is still with them and he said it will take few months. I really feel cheated and I don't see how they do business in extremely competitive environment with such behavior. The main points are

      1. Customer satisfaction does not matter for them especially when you buy something which is not very expensive.
      2. The customer care executives are very rude and don't know how to talk to customers so if you want to be humiliated go to them.

      I would suggest my fellow friends not to go for Croma store in any case.

      Hi

      I bought a micromax funbook infinity p 275 from Croma Koramangala Bangalore on 17 feb 2013. Serial number is v[protected]
      mep no 8503in the month of march

      The software of the tablet got corrupted and I had submitted to Croma service desk for repair in the month of March. I was given a receipt for follow up. The tablet was send to Micromax service center.

      After frequent follow and visits to Croma I was called one day to collect the tablet in the month of May 2013.

      To my surprise there were other issue like
      1) Camera was not working,
      2) Not getting charged,
      3) Tablet screen is replaced with some other old damaged second hand screen which happens to have lot of scratches also
      4) I could see the tablet screws are protruding outside and also lost safety cap
      I have asked Croma to Fix all this and given me back my tablet in the same submitted status, which has even the screen guards for protecting screen.
      I have resubmitted this to Croma and Croma to Micromax on 09/06/2013. They took my old receipt and gave me a new one. This is 6 months now and I have been following up weekly on this.

      I got a message from Croma Manager Uma (mobile [protected]) to come and collect it from the croma store. The message read "Sir Pls collect ur tablet 4rm the croma store. Which is in koramangala 6th blk. near to Sony world signal." dated 30/07/2013
      I went to croma store to collect it today.3/08/2013.
      To my surprise they have lost my tablet somewhere.
      Uma has requested me to again wait till they find it. The Koramangala store manager (mobile [protected]) said he is not responsible he can look into it on Monday.
      I asked him for a refund or I was also ready to buy anything of equivalent or more price from croma if I get a refund for this.

      They have completely denied all my request and asked me to wait until they find it.
      My experience with croma is that for this same issue I have visited Croma several times (may be 15 to 20 times) since March
      Uma (mobile [protected]) used to fool me always saying she will get it done in one week.
      I have paid 20 rupees as parking charges every time I have visited croma + petrol (my house is 12 km away from Croma) + time (every time I would have spent 1 to 2 hours waiting for resolution)
      I wanted Croma manager to provide a letter in writing that he will fix it on coming Monday, he has denied that also.
      I require a refund for the Tablet now.

        I am a regular customer of Croma. On my last visit to Croma Bandra,I was approached by them to apply for a TATA Croma card (apparently with SBI). Already having a few credit cards, I was reluctant and refused at first but was later told that I could discontinue the credit card next year and use it only as a Tata croma membership card to redeem points as discounts. Having purchased a fair bit from Croma this year I figured that the points could get me a big discount and hence filled out the form. A copy of my existing credit card, driving licence etc was taken for the issue of membership cum credit card. After about a week, I have received the following sms from them ......"We regret, we are unable to accept your request for TATAcard at this point of time as it does not meet our internal policy for card issuance"
        It is a pity that a brand like TATA is insulting its regular and valued customers by first pursuing them to sign up for a credit card and then refusing them.

        I have visited CBD Belapur croma Store. They have offered me Croma credit card.I have applied but till today i have not received the card. Suddenly on 12th Sept 11 received sms stating there is an outstanding needs to be cleared by 2nd Oct 11.Team tata please check and confirm.

        I was offered the TATA Croma card at the juhu Croma store. After accepting the offer, have received several calls for confirmatory checks. Even a person showing up at my door step. But the card has yet to be delivered. When I visited the same store and inquired about the card, i was told to look it up on the net. It's a shame; very shoddy job by the TATA Croma team. I do not feel like shopping in Croma again!

          Sir, I purchase a Sony Bravia LCD TV in 2008 with one year company warranty + 2 year Extende warranty by Croma for which I paid Rs.2,000/- extra.
          I lodge complaint for "No Video in TV" on 18/10/2010 on[protected] which is extended warranty call centre vide complaint no.5163.
          At that time I was told that it will be attended within 48 hours.
          Even after 10 reminders and personnel visit to Croma Himalaya Mall nobody has come to rescue.
          It is most hopeless Shop on earth.

            i agree this Croma products are bad, they work for only 1 year after that it got damage, other product gives 2-3 years warranty and this guys dont even give any warranty please band this croma products as soon as possible,

              I have bought a sony bravia EX6 series LED TV from Croma on 09th Oct. The Sales Rep who was servicing me promised that the delivery and installation will happen the next day before 12 noon as I was staying in Aundha which was near to Croma store.

              I accepted their word of mouth and went on to procure the TV from Croma though there is a Sony Outlet in Aundh itself. After repeated calls on 10th Oct I was delivered the TV around 4:45 PM. The delivery boys confirmed that the installation will be done latest by 24 hrs from Delivery.

              When I called Croma today they mentioned that they will get in touch with service centre and will try to find out when the installation can happen. They promised to call me. After two hours of not receiveing any calls I called the customer service no 6500 3666. After number of attempts I was able to connect and the person now says that he has now logged request for installation and the same will be done in next 48 hours. When I asked the reason why the installation request was logged after sale or after delivery he was unable to provide any response. He mentioned that service personal from Sony takes time to come and it will be done in 48 hours. If I have to wait this long why then Croma is selling Sony items in that case we consumers are better of buying from the company outlet itself where Service is of much higher notch than provided by Croma.

              I had procurred from Croma only because of the brand name of TATA but the unprofessional manner in which they operate is really pathetic. Also don't understand the reason for giving false commitments.

              I am ready to return the item to Croma and buy the same item from Sony which anyday should have been a better option.

                This is to bring to the notice/attention of whomever it may concern (i.e unsuspecting customers about to fall into the Croma trap) that I am disgusted with the service of Croma and its staff, which are part of the Tata group, a group which has a good reputation.
                However, I would like to mention that you can't get customer satisfaction on the strength of reputation alone. This is brought out clearly by my case, where I'd like to place on record that the staff of Croma have been rude, unhelpful, and downright deceitful.

                I bought a Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic phone from the Croma store in Ansal Plaza, Palam Vihar, Gurgaon, and paid Rs. 2000 extra for the extended warranty of two years.
                After I had been using the phone for about a year, it developed a minor problem, which was that the Applications or menu button was not working. It appeared to have got stuck, and I thought that all that it needed was a thorough cleaning, which I was reluctant to do myself, not wanting to unknowingly damage the phone. When I took it to the Croma store, a staff member informed me that I would have to call the Nokia Service Centre's phone number and go to the nearest Nokia Service Centre, which they claimed was in Faridabad (I know for a fact that there is another Nokia Sevice Centre in Gurgaon). When I tried to explain to him that I did not pay so much for the extended warranty just to make all the effort myself, he very rudely said that nothing could be done about it. I decided to go to the manager, and told the staff member to direct me to him. The staff member took me to the wrong person, saying he was the Customer Care Manager. I requested the Customer Care Manager to take me to the Store Manager, and when he did, I complained to him about the unhelpfulness and rudeness of the staff member. I then brought my problem to the notice of the Manager, who assured me they would get it fixed, 'as a favour' because, as he informed me, mine was a Carry-in warranty, which apparently meant that I had paid Rs 2000 for the privilege of carrying my phone to the service centre myself. Needless to say, they had omitted to give me this important piece of info when I took the warranty.
                A few days later, I received a phone call from Nokia, saying that my phone had sustained 'liquid damage', and that it couldn't be fixed. This was subsequently confirmed by Croma. I felt that this diagnosis was absolutely incorrect and they just said this to cause me the maximum inconvenience possible. Obviously, if the phone had sustained liquid damage, it couldn't be possible that only one of the circuits/components was damaged, causing the menu button to malfunction, and the rest was untouched. I could still receive calls on the phone, so this selective problem of liquid damage (when in fact, none such had been sustained by the phone) had me quite skeptical.
                I kept my old phone, but bought a new one too as I couldn't make any calls, being unable to access my contacts due to the faulty Menu button. After a few weeks, I happened to have a look at my old phone, and found that the button was working properly again. Liquid damage, my left foot! I then knew for sure that Croma and Nokia seemed to be in cahoots to cause me the most trouble or inconvenience that they possibly could. It seems that Croma's policy is that once you have bought the product, and paid them the money, your satisfaction is no longer their concern. Also that shoddy or non-existent after sales service is what the customer will get even after he/she pays for an extended warranty. It seems to me that their motto needs to be changed to “We help you cry.”

                Luckily, my story had a happy ending (no thanks to Croma), though others may not be so fortunate. Are you listening, Mr Ratan Tata---or whoever your successor is going to be?

                  I had purchased an HP pavilion laptop from Croma phoenix mills on 19/9/2010 but I have not recieved the carry bag which comes with the laptop then after 4 days I purchased MTS Mblaze from Croma Ghatkopar but the downloading speed of device is not as promised by the company and there has been no response from the customer care too regarding my complaints.

                  Moreover a friend of has purchased Hp Pavilion laptop just a few days later and has been provided with additional free kit to which I have been told to give Rs.600 extra for the kit. I don't understand why there has been such biased behavior among the customers.

                  Please help me.

                    Mr. Mahesh who is employee of Jeeves Consumer Service,Bangalore gave me commitment about giving me CROMA laptop service withing 3-4 days is still not completed his task after 40 days.

                    Finally as a customer I would like to say by Jeeves Consumer Service,Bangalore is fraud service providing company,Never ever believe on such companies.


                    Its my kind request to all valuable purchasers never buy the CROMA Laptops because their after sales service is super-late and not competent, they really make your interest less in products after buying them.

                    Croma Bangalore — Exchange policy

                    I wanted to exchange DVD player within 48 hours as per the exchange policy mentioned in the bill. This was denied giving silly excuses. The store looks really attractive. But the customer service found to be not very good. They do not adhere to the policy mentioned. It is just an eyewash. Beware!!

                    i purchased croma refrigerator from panjagutta showroom last year march still now 5 times i complained about not cooling properly but they didnt solve the problem till date and i have warranty for two years from this date i suggest not buy cromo and suffer like me ....naveenreddy [protected]

                    I paid Jeeves technician visit to fix my my water cooler and window AC. Also, took their AMC for window AC. But, when there was a defect in the cooling coil, they were charging Rs 500 for the shipment of AC to their noida workshop. Also, they were taking too much delay in fixing the coil. When phoned their local vendor (Pervez), he kept making false promises and also was unable to repair the cooling coil...or replace the cooling coil with original voltas coil. When I asked Jeeves to refund back the money they never did so, nor their local noida vendor fixed my water cooler or window AC yet. Finally, I got it fixed from another vendor and never got my money refund. Big cheater.

                      I wanted to bring to the notice of other consumers the varying policies that exist at the various Croma - tata enterprise stores that exist across the city. Even if you have decided to buy at Croma, please check at one or two of their chain stores, before deciding to buy.
                      We had gone to buy a front loading LG washing machine during their "Independence Day non violence sale" period from the Croma - R-City Mall, Vikhroli branch. The model that we had chosen was quoted at 23 k plus had a free offer of an electric rice cooker or vacuum cleaner and advertised as "for all products of LG". They agreed to waive off 500Rs if we did not want to take the free goods. We wanted more time to decide, so came away with the intent of going back the next day.
                      To our luck, the next day's newspaper carried an ad, which said, Croma would match the best price if we showed them some other retailer was offering a better deal. We, incidentally, found Hypercity Malad selling the same model washing machine for 18000Rs, without any of the freebies. We took this to the notice of the salesperson at the Croma - R-citi mall. He had a word with his managers, and agreed to sell it to us for the same price of 18000Rs. Then, naturally, we wanted to know about the freebie offer or additional 500Rs off. He backtracked here, and said this was an internal offer and he could not give us the same. We agreed that may be the case, but then show us your offer document which states so. He did not have one. He brought the store manager to meet us and we insisted the same. He also did not have any printed document showing what the offer was. After a lot of insistence, he revealed they do not have any such printed document! Which literally means they can refuse the same to select customers, inspite of the advertised offer, as and when they please. When we pointed this out, he now refused to sell us the washing machine for the earlier agreed price of 18k, as we did not have an invoice from hypercity citing the same. We decided to walk away from this store, but wanted to get to the root of the matter and went to check the same at the Croma store in Oberoi Mall, Goregaon.
                      Imagine our surprise when we got the same brand, same model washing machine for the quoted price of 18000 (as per match price offer) as well as 500Rs off on it if we did not want the freebies.

                        I've taken a MTS - MBLAZE connection for accessing internet through wireless data card, on 28th Aug 2010. I took that as part of the offer while I purchased a laptop from CROMA, Indiranagar.

                        I submitted my documents then and there only while, taking the connection, and asked them to call me and let me know if documents are OK.

                        I got 1 week free 5GB usage as well. After that when I recharged my MTS - MBLAZE connection (MTS id:[protected] on 10th Sep 2010 i.e. Friday evening for 3GB for 3 months, I found that it is not working. The next morning I called up the Customer Care and they told me that the documents submitted to the retailer i.e. CROMA Bangalore were not received, after almost 2 weeks have passed. After calling up CROMA, the MTS representative there, Mr. Rajesh told me that they will submit it and the connection will get activated within an hour, which though took alot more time, and I could finally connect to the internet the other morning i.e. 11th Sep.

                        After that today morning again, I was not able to connect, and after speaking to the MTS Customer care I found that the documents were still not submitted. I called up CROMA and after speaking to Mr. Rajesh he delegated this to Mr. Vijay, to whom after speaking he told me that my documents were not proper as I submitted my driving licence and which doesn't have my Banaglore address (Even though while purchasing the connection I asked them to let me know if there is any problem with the documents and secondly I get to all these from the retailer and not the service prvide and that too after I called them up).

                        Mr. Vijay asked me to send scanned copy of a document which has address proof of that in Bangalore, which was though not asked at the time hen I purchased the connection. I immediately sent him the scanned copy at around 12:30 afternoon today and asked him to submit the documents and immediately re-activate, as I need to access the internet urgently for some personal reason, and then acknowledge.

                        I called him several times to ask if he has received my e-mail, but he didnt pick up my call, I sent him a SMS as well, but he didnt respond. I called Mr. Rajesh and he sent me an sms saying that Mr. Vijay has received the e-mail and will give me a call shortly.

                        Later on in the evening when I called Mr. Vijay again, he still didnt take my call, despite that many a times I found his no. on waiting and many a times he didnt pick my call at all. I called up Mr. rajesh again, and he said that he will ask him to call me. But that didnt happen, and after that I again tried Mr. Vijay's no., but he didnt pick up the call, and then I tried Mr. Rajesh's no and he too is now not picking up the call. I kept on trying both of them and at around 6 PM Mr Vijay called me and says that he will submit the documents late in the evening and my connection will be active after that. Despite of me threatning him, that I 'll file a complaint at Consumer Forum, he admantly asked me to put a complaint as if he dont care a damn.

                        I tried again in the night, a little while ago, And they have still not activated the connection, and they have really shown that they dont care Consumer and dont care Consumer Forum.

                        My complaint is that despite of paying Rs. 1794 and activating a prepaid internet connection for 3 months, if I dont get to use when I need it the most, and that too for an entire day, twice repeatatively; then what's the use of paying so-much and taking a connection. Why there's no pro-activeness from the retailer's side to submit my docments right on time and if the documents were actually not correct to call and let me know before disconnecting the connection. And even though if this mistake have occured from their end then, do the needful at the earliest and activate my connection, so that the customer can use.

                        CROMA, Indiranagar, Bangalore - they dont care a damn what problem the customer faces. They just know how to bully customers advertising attractive offers.

                          I bought a washing machine from croma panjagutta on saturday, 11th September. At the time of delivery, they told me that they can deliver the washing machine at home on sunday, but at the time of billing they gave me the delivery date as monday. On monday, 13th september, there was no response from them and then i complained in their website and customer care. They promised the delivery on the same day initially and later they said they can give the delivery on tuesday. On tuesday, the same story was repeated and I didnt get the delivery of the washing machine. The customer care is not picking the call and their customer service seems to be pathetic. They are not able to keep the delivery dates they have given even after repeated postponement. Is there anyway I can get my washing machine / money back?

                            I had bought a hcl laptop worth Rs.38000 from croma vashi. at the time of purchase the sales man told me that if i face "any issue" about the laptop bring it to croma and we will forward it to the service center. i also paid Rs.3000 extra and opted for extended warranty. after few months my dvd writer stopped working so i went to croma vashi and requested them to service my laptop but the customer service executive over there denied and said it is carry in warranty go to the service center. i told him wat there sales man had told me at the time of purchase and i called the sales man and confronted him infront of there csm...after that discussion there customer service executive excepted that the sales executive was at fault and took my request. the customer service executive thoroughly inspected my laptop for physical damage and gave me a receipt and told me that it will take 21 days for servicing. within few days i got a call from croma vashi saying that my laptop has been serviced and i can collect it. when i went to collect my laptop i found out that there was a "CRACK" at the base of my laptop immediately confronted the service executive. to my surprise the "CROMA TEAM" VASHI DENIED that they were at fault moreover there service executive behaved very badly with me..after some argument they told me to give them some days time so that they can rectify there mistake.i told them i want to talk to there store manager they told me that there is no sales manager appointed..after almost 2 months i went on to check wat was happening they returned there laptop in damaged condition sayin they are not at fault..CROMA is the worst retail store i have ever seen.....if there is anybody listening please help me with this issue as the damage done by them is worth Rs 7000. CROMA VASHI IS THE WORST STORE.

                              I had purchased VU Tv from Chroma , Central Square Mall Vadodara on 14/06/2009 vide bill no[protected]. On[protected] I personally visited croma and lodged complaint for the sound quality of VU TV. The Customer care of the Mall assured us to send technical person in 3 days. The person from the company visted my place after 8 days[protected] and again assured us to send estimates of the speakers in 2 days. Even after 7 days I have not recieved any estimates or any follow up action. In short for such a small matter the Mall/Company is not able to give prompt services.

                                1) Big companies like CROMA retail, India having no hold on outsourcing customer service providers, so better to not purchase products of CROMA retail, India as they give or charge for warranty / extended warranty but can’t able to manage after sales service by believing outsourcers as a good service providers .
                                2) The BIG ZERO is the customers value for Jeeves Service centre , Bangalore (India)
                                3) The average time service centre takes in India for servicing electronics goods. Really a question mark problem?

                                Abstract of complaint :
                                I have bought a CROMA Laptop from Pasific mall in New Delhi before nearly 1 year ago in month of March 2009 probably having 1 year warranty with laptop & I charged for 2 years of extended warranty. After 1 year laptop has faced a problem of running screen (Screen problem) & battery backup problem. After that I had decided to give my CROMA laptop for servicing in Bangalore as I was working near to Bangalore city. I firstly went to CROMA electronic store ay Brigade road but they told you have to call to Croma customer complaint care as one year warranty over . As per that I called & got Complaint no : 398516 at the same time the caller guy told me the address of Jeeves Service centre at Hulimavu Village, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore 560 076 . I went at respective address gave my laptop for servicing & lappy bag also, told the laptop problems which I was facing. The guy attended me told we will see your laptop problem & will come back to you after 2-3 days on 22nd June 2010 in afternoon round 2-3 pm & gave me slip of confirmation that they have taken my laptop for servicing & taken some necessary documents they needed for processing my complaint. After that until today 12th August 2010 nearly after 52 days also still I have not got my laptop .I & my friend have called nearly 15 – 20 times to the respective no still they are telling “your laptop is in process & having screen problem” . Even my friend Amey went 2 times to that place the same answer they had told to him also, Firstly I thought might be some parts they will not be getting this reason I heard from them also in first 2 weeks after the call made by myself 4-5 times in first two weeks not even call from them. The companies like Dell ,Hp .Acer are atleast better which are very much able to give any kind of solution even might be serious like screen problem ,battery problem etc. in atmost 10 days ( as I experienced from many friends case faced the same problem as like me but got happy as they got proper solution in right duration of time .) Even this might be curious problem for lots of people like me that in city like Bangalore which is known for electronic city ,best computer servicing city, software city while the other companies are anyway ready to give solution at any cost & within bound duration of time .The CROMA & its outsourcer service provider Jeeves service centre fails to give as they are facing a very very big problem of getting screen for laptop???????? In my case. From this you can understand what will be the intensity, eagerness of providing solutions to problems & what kind of coordination in people inside the Jeeves . Even some times I tried to to explore my truly needs like when I will get my laptop ,I have to do my ppt work, I want it fast after my honest requests they had also got boared & started cutting my calls really experienced 3-4 times. Finally I came to conclusion that no use in struggling at lower level and seen website of Jeeves http://www.jeeves.co.in/ (Please must visit once in lifetime) you will also get amazed what the commitment companies like Jeeves made & what they practically at ground level are. This company presents it as “Service support for all customer durables” & showing its strengths as very good network over India in 107 cities (How its grown?), 250 qualified technicians (Really doubtful !) ,Professional management ( management or vegetable market ? at least vegetable market people do it best though they are unqualified ) etc. etc. (Must visit this website reminder for all my customer friends.) I have spend nearly my 52 days in waiting for laptop to get & answering the question form everyone “Where is your laptop?” Oh God, If I would have purchased laptop of Hp, Dell atleast I was sure about my laptop that I will get it in 10-15 days. For such companies I would like to say “ Stop playing games with customers”
                                So My heartly request to all smart customers “Please restrict yourself or not allow your friends or don’t use services of such out of class companies which have aimed to make your interest lower in products & trying to becoming multinational in short period but not ready to make efforts & finally which will make our India’s reputation lower if they will go to international market because of having mission of only profit,no customer relationship at all ”. Shame on these companies from my side I am expecting assurance from your side, Are you?

                                  I bought a Samsung 1.5T ac from Croma Mulund sometime in 2009. Since then the original warranty on the product expired, and within days of it happening, the AC had an issue. So much for Korean quality. That aside, I felt safe in thinking that buying the croma extended warranty was a good decision, so I called the Croma warranty helpline, and was promptly assigned a warranty claim number, and told that the complaint would be responded to within 24 hours. Sure enough, the engineer in question showed up, and said that there's a problem with my wall unit's circuit board, dismantled it, and carted it away. Its been over a month of following up with Croma, the engineer in question and the agency that actually sent this person out. All I get is "Your AC will be fixed by next Monday". After 3 mondays, I stopped believing in that particular sentence, and decided to call Croma and request to talk to a manager. The manager, Mr. Bharat Natkar, told me that he was busy, and assured me that he would call back. Thank Heavens I didnt hold my breath, because that call never came. So now, I have a dud AC without a circuit board, noone at the croma's agency assigned to do the work taking my calls, and the people at Croma themselves tossing me around like a hot potato.

                                  Is there hope at this point? I would love to take these guys to consumer court, so what are my options at this point? Please advise. Any lawyers on this forum that can assist, are welcome to contact me via email at ramprasadh at gmail dot com.

                                    I had purchased 3 samsung 1.5 ton split airconditioners from chroma, juhu Mumbai on 25/10/2008.I had also paid for EXTENDED WARRANTY.One of the ac has given problems from the beginning as the water drips on the bed.Samsung or tata or the ac maintenance person has not resolved it till date.The 2nd ac i was told had a gas leak & then a choked compressor.Each time a non competant technician is sent so their slate is clean but the problem remains pending under the consolation'we are looking into your problem'.I have repeatedly told them to replace the acs as their seems to be an inherent defect with them or else it could'nt take this long.
                                    I have been harrased enough as it has become a daily hit & trial experiment.
                                    I had asked for a deadline since i've been patient enough,but they are'nt equipped to give any answers but keep inconveniencing us.We are in a loop.Someone needs to take a stand & help us.Customers cant be cheated & harassed like this.I will be compelled to press legal charges on them.

                                    I am realy sorry to read such complains and shudd er to think as to what will happen to me as a customer when my
                                    A/C from croma purchased under extended warranty will give me problems. I hope compny like Croma should not
                                    sit over such technical problems and should resolve the same amicably.

                                      Subject:Croma Split Air conditioner-Ineffective cooling-complaint reg.

                                      Dear Sir / Madam

                                      We have purchased a Split A/C from Croma, Faridabad on 5th July 2010, which has been delivered on 6th July 2010 & installed on 8th July 2010. Since installation, a/c is not giving proper cooling. Number of times, I had called up Croma Faridabad for making complaint. On 10th July 2010, I visited Croma Faridabad and lodged the complaint physically at Customer Care Department. Customer Care Executives assured us to resolve the issue at the earliest. Then, on 11th July 2010, they send Engineers to visit our place and they checked our A/C and saying that A/c gives this much of cooling only and saying there may be problem with Stabilizer and did nothing.

                                      We have been calling up time & again but not getting proper response. Store Manager Ms. Anuradha, Croma Faridabad Branch assured us to send the Senior reliable Engineers at our place. On 13th July, Engineers came to our place and told us to switch on the a/c for two hours, then I will come tomorrow and see what is the problem because he himself was unable to find the fault why a/c is not giving proper cooling. On 14th July, we started a/c at 4:00 pm till 9:30 pm but no one had turned up. Since, it has been installed hardly 7 days back and we are not satisfied with the product. We want to get the A/c replaced.

                                      Kindly look into the matter seriously and take action accordingly. Either refund our money or change the A/c as soon as possible.

                                        I bought a Transcend 250GB Portable Hard Drive on 8/7/2010 at CROMA in Centre Square Mall at VADODARA, GUJARAT. I bought this portable hard drive at Rs.3499/- where as at the same cost Transcend 350GB Portable HDD is available in the market.... Actual cost of Transcend 250GB Portable HDD in Indian Market is 3100/-. Croma is claiming that the cost of Transcend 250GB Portable Hard Drive is 5000/- and its giving it for Rs. 3499/-. Please take action against these blood sucking leeches.
