Dear Sir,

I have bought an external hard disk of Rs.7000 in the month of Dec 2010 from Croma retail shop in Rohini Delhi. I paid for it through my Mastercard credit card. During that time an offer was going on in Croma that if any person will shop for more than Rs.5000 they will get 5% cash back.

But I have still not received any cash back.

I too purchased laptop with my friend from Pune Pimpri branch, from my card. But no cashback received till date. Feeling duped, already provided Bank Statements and invoice details but they have not refunded anything till date.
I also bought a notebook worth Rs 30k+ from Croma Eva Mall, Bangalore and not received any cash back.. but I am making my efforts to get it because I had the purchase from Croma only because of this offer otherwise I was having a better deal in Big Bazaar Electronics.
i also purchased a mini laptop worth 16K from chroma Bangalore .while purchasing they told me that %5 of the total amount will be refunded after 120 days .now almost 6 months completed so far i did't received the amount...
I have faced the same problem of not receiving cash back on the purchase of a laptop, 8 months back, from the South Extension (NDSE) II outlet. This is a case of cheating and I will be filing a criminal complaint against Croma. These big outlets think that they are above the law and can deprive the customer of his due. They will come into action mode only after some heavy penalties are imposed and senior management is sent behind bars.

Croma is one of the largest PATHETIC Retail store. last year i bought one home theater. there was no wire in that box .. i went to the retail store with the same box after an hour, they said you opened the box so you have to pay 200 extra. i said ok. i paid that amount and got replaced one. 10 days before i bought my 2nd croma product which is bar fridge. when plugged in there was no power supply. i called them... they said ok we will replace that, for that you have to wait for 2 hours.. i waited 2 days there was no response.. i called them again ..they said tech will call you by tomorrow i said ok ... tech called me and verified my address and said i will come tomorrow with replacement product ... i waited now it is been 10 days i never heard anything. i called croma cx service at least 7 times.and they all are using same working like robot. i can understand but i can not commit you will get call by tomorrow. I am sure that was my last purchase from this crazy store. i will recommend my known people never go with this brand.

    On 8th Feb 2011 I purchased a Nokia C3 Handset From croma (Indira Nagar) within 10days of Span the key pad color started fading & some other Software problem was arised.
    On 19th Feb I visited the dealer & shared my problem & immediate replay was that it ll take 15 days for the rectification, i agreed & handed over the mobile to them.
    Final reply was that the color is going because o[censored]sage & it can’t be replaced & given back to me.
    Finally i launched a complaint in Nokia & those people replaced under warranty.
    I need a clarification such a reputed organization can attend customer like that, this is the way to attend & than how cum they told me that it can’t be replaced when i got it replaced.
    If croma serving customer like that means it ll definitely lose the trust of customer.

      My name is Girish J. Shah. I have bought Croma-W/AC 1.5T-CRAC1077 2Star, a window AC from Croma Mulund Stores on 20/06/2010.
      At the time of purchase I was assured of quarterly service of the appliance mentioned above. However since the time of purchase I haven't been provided any service till date. Frequent calls have been made to the store but in vain. The Head Office refuses to lodge our complaint since the matter needs to be solved with the store. But we have only been made false promises of assured services!
      Please suggest some remedy to the problem!

        I visited Croma Store in Mulund on 19th Feb for buying a new LCD TV. I did finalise with the Samsung LCD, but the Customer Service personnel showed me LG LED TV and convinced me to buy it by offering Free Tata Sky High Definition pack at cost of 750. I finalised with LG LED TV and they told me that I will get Tata Sky voucher at my Home directly. Since I didnt get it for 15 days I called up Croma store for checking the status, they told me that I can collect it personally from the store. When I went there 1st they refused to give me anything saying there was no such offer. Then after some arguments he gave me Normal tata Sky pack. When I asked him that they committed me Tata Sky HD pack, they were not ready to accept it. I feel cheated as store gave me false committment to buy their product. and now refusing to accept it and deliver it. I think one should not rely on their fake offers for selling their products

          Dear Sir,

          I bought a Sony LCD on 14/02/2011 with offer of AIRTEL DIGITAL TV free, but 5 days already passed but still it is not installed. I contected many time to Croma Malad, as well as Airtel DTV number 12150 but they didn't conformed me when will it be install.

          As world is starting from tomorrow so can I expect it will installed by tomorrow or day after tomorrow?

          I already bought a Tata Photon Plus data cards 3 weeks ago but didn't get offer as they.
          If you are not willing to provide the offerce then why are you declaring offerse in your store?

          Can I procede to consumer court??

          Croma Malad — Purchase laptop but not getting Kodak Camera & Clean safe liquid

          Dear Sir,

          I have purchage a Leptop (Compaq CQ45) from Croma ,plam spring center,malad link road,Malad west,mumbai-400064 at 14 Feb 2009. They commit me they provide Kodec Camera & Clean Safe with leptop but they are not providing me yet. I am asking many time but answer is "we give you next month". Please help me.

            I had got a Gift voucher from Croma store in Bangalore in Oct 2010. I want to purchase Godrej refrigerator and Whirlpool semi-automatic washing machine. I visited 5-6 croma stores in past 2 months. Either they have very very few models available or mostly not available. For eg. they don't have even 1 model of whirlpool semi-automatic washing machine when other stores have 5-10 varieties in that. They give junk excuses saying Croma does not deal with Godrej fridges (one of the top-rated brand) and people don't buy semi-automatic w/m nowadays etc., Their customer service is pathetic even though every store has good-looking set of people standing there. They took my contact number multiple times, but never called to inform whether a particular requested product arrived or it will not arrive like that. Even if I call, they transfer to some other dept who themselves don't know whether a particular model is in store without looking at compute (which seems to be very slow all the time). So, I criss-crossed bangalore stores multiple times to buy any one of this.

            Contrast this to Pai Electronics, eZone, Girias etc., who have variety of models available and also knowledgable in telling whether a particular product will arrive, in store or not. Even in my hometown, people are much better in getting the products to shop if you request. Please don't buy Croma gift voucher, you will be trapped and keep waiting for a particular product. Also the prices are not at all cheaper than other stores in bangalore. Croma is the only shop where you can find just 100/200 rs. less than MRP price for appliances. Being a TATA brand, it is very bad.

              My refrigerator stopped working about 18 December 2010 and I made the complaint on the 20 December 2010 . The consumer care representative assured of the service of complaint within following 48 hours. The company representative however had to be reminded after over 60 hours to service the complaint. The technician came over for survey after four hours thereafter. He assured servicing the refrigerator within a few days as the part to be replaced was to be called from Bangaluru. It has been over a week now and there has been no assurance from the end of the company. The company has disappointed me and does no good to the customers. As the reason for delay the company says the VIP customer complaint had to be serviced before my complaint. Now I wonder who those VIP are for the company, definitely not the customers.

                Bought Samsung make 40 Inch LCD TV in Oct 2008 with 2 years extended warranty of croma. The TV was purchased from Croma's Aundh store in Pune. A problem cropped up in the screen on 17th November 2010. We called Croma who then arranged for the repair in their designated repair center named Specular services in Pune on 19th November. Since then there has been no progress in this matter except for false assurances by Croma as well as Specular services. The reasoning behind the delay is cited as part (panel) required to fix the problem not being available anywhere in India and there is no sign of when it could be available. I have followed almost everyday to find out the status without any success. This is one of the worst service any retailer could provide. There is no commitment and no accountability on Croma's part to provide after sales service for relatively small item like a TV.

                  This is very sad and totally bad ,irritable experience with the Croma,Goregaon east Division at Oberai Mall. I have Booked Rs 58000/-Side by side refreigrator with LED and Gift pack of Air tight Glass kit as an offer.till
                  today as on 13/12/10 i am waiting for Gift pack of Air tight Glass kit.I want take this to issuse to Consumer court.

                  I am very serious about my investment in Croma retails and cheat behaviours.Now the issuse is not only Gift which is being promised ,but the breach of trust/Cheating.
                  I have never let go any cheater in my entire life so you too.

                    Today I called Croma, Mount Road, Chennai thrice just to find out that the new model Motorola Flip out is not there. The call attenders don't even have the patience to listen to the proper model and its name. They simply kept telling me Motorola doesn't have a Flip model. Even after explaining about prices I had a tough time making them understand one of their main products. I wouldn't have minded to explain to them and teach about their own product but these people without even listening they simply concluded their answers and ended the call without my consent. I don't understand the point of having telephone lines when they can't clarify the query of customers.

                      recently i ve booked for a LG LCD TV worth Rs.42,000 for which ive made an down payment, so d dealer promised me to deliver within 2 weeks of time, but he din keep up his promise. after the course of time he called back to me and asked me to withdraw my booking as the TV i've booked for is no more available. so i ve been made to go for an alternate product (worth 38,000) which is a SAMSUNG TV of same config. The dealer inturn promised me of refunding the difference amt by cheque aftr two days of time. when i went der to ask him abt d refund after the defined time the dealer gave me an irresponsible ans that he has given me the refund money by cash as on that day itself. The justification he gave me was very frustrating as he s trying to blame me.
                      This incident is the worst case fraudulent act i ve ever come accross when dealing with a branded showroom
                      like[chroma chennai(T.nagar)].

                      I got a Water purifier from Chroma, which they promised to deliver the next day. But it got delivered only a week later. They couldn't even keep us informed about the delayed delivery. When we tried contacting them, the otherside was always engaged and we had a tough time contacting them. I advice all not to buy any product from Chroma which needs to be delivered home, the response and attitude is very very poor.
                      I bought a chroma rice cooker a few months back and now it is not working. I thought that chroma would give us a good product but I am totally disappointed. I want to give it back to chroma as a gift for giving me such a bad product. When I asked for the service centre also I did not get a proper reply. I will never buy any product from chroma henceforth.

                        CROMA is selling the used memory cards, which i had a very bad experience with it and also they are the worst selling shop in entire bangalore. I have purchased the 4GB memory card in 2010 and it was used in 2000 and it was sold to me by the shop manager and also i have compliant it to the top team and there is no response from them, and i am looking for the compensation now please help me.

                          buying a Croma window AC proved to be one big mistake as there is a very poor after sales service and total neglect to customer complaints.my AC purchased in May 2010 stopped working after about 4-5 months. On complaining a so called technician( a boy in his twenties looking like a delivery boy) was sent ,who opened the AC and removed some part which he thought was defective and even after a month the part is not replaced, even after numerous complaints at service center.One Mr.Pillai at service center keeps giving false promises and deadlines[protected]from .Abhiji Kher, Mumbai[protected]

                            Dear sir, I am Vimal from Chennai. A week before i noticed a advertisement in thina thanthi paper regarding tower fixation for rent. So i called them to enquire about the details. They attended the call and told me to deposit the amount of Rs.5500 to their bank account and once the amount is credited they will send a letter which contains the rent details and they told that some people will visit the site and they will confirm it, whether they like the place or not. they told me that sure you can believe us. since they told like that, i believed them and credited the amount to their bank account. after crediting the amount they are not at all picking up my call, and the number is in switch off mode too.
                            but daily they are giving the same advertisement but with different numbers.

                            That lady name is Ramya. and the company name is CROMA TOWERS PVT.LTD and the account name is mohit kumar shakwat.

                            (( pls help me to find a solution. how to deal with this problem.))

                            Pl lodge a complaint with the polce immiedietly as this seems to be a big rocket and more people will be cheated.You can give the account no. their advertisement copy, phone no etc.You may also write to the Police Commissioner Thiru.Rajendran, who will certainly help you and nab the culprit.
                            hi, i am radhika from coimbatore. i have seen advertisement in daily thanthi stating the similar statement as mentioned above. i have paid Rs. 6050 in SBI a/c in the name Solai samy.

I see add at thinakaren news paper. and I deposited rs.5600 & rs.35000 after deposited there is no response from there so I decided to gave complaint in police station at the time I give a chance to call me at one week else I gave complaint then to take necessary action about your company.
                            Dear All,

                            I had got a msg. regarding the same offer, fixation of Tower in vacant land for Rs. 70000.00 Rs.55 lakh deposit, I called and enquired about same and was asked my location address and was told if site is selected, I have to pay Rs. 4550 as registration charges and the lady was very much hurry to get me deposit the amount at the earliest, than I got a doubt if such a big project why they are behaving like so much hurry, than I goggled on internet and found all these stories and got to know this is all fraud.

                            These people are Fraud and I request all, if you come across any kind of such things before proceeding further, pls check on internet about the company and the status and don't fall prey to these people. The lady who called me is going to call me again tomorrow and her number is [protected], if any one want to take any action can call and trace them.

                            Be alert and don't fall prey to these fraud people

                              I bought an Acer Laptop on 21st June, 2009 from Croma, Indirapuram. Along with the product, I also purchased extended warranty (invoice No.[protected]. In August 2010, Laptop crashed. I lodged a complaint no. 2809 with Croma Extended Warranty help desk. They told me to submit laptop with RT Servives in Nehru place. This was done on 4th Sept, 2010. Till now, I have not received my Laptop back. They are saying that Mother Board is not available. I am sure, some problem somewhere. I have lodged sevaral complaints with them and they are closing them. Details:

                              Tata Croma Desk gave me number of Mr. Vijay Gujju from RT Services. Everytime I call him, he puts me into conference with a lady and lady says "Vendor says that Mother board is out of stock".

                              Once another lady called me from RT, Nehru place and she also said the same that Motherboard is out of stock. Now its 3 Months, I fail to understand the inability of a TATA barnd to procure motherboard for a consumer who is under extended warranty.

                              I am suffering a lot please. I have taken a Laptop on rental for my father due to all this mess. Please help me.

                              यदि आप ऐसे किसी आफर के झांसे में फंसने जा रहे हों तो पहले उसके सबूत रख लें कि इस तरह का कोइ आफर भी चल रहा है, क्योंकि यह कैश बैक लेने के लिए आपको उपभोक्ता फोरम भी जाना पड़ सकता है, लेकिन वहां मौखिक वादे के भरोसे तो सुनवाई नहीं हो पायेगी. फिर या तो खुद को ठगा हुआ मानकर मन मसोस कर रह जाना पड़ेगा या फिर लगाते रहिये क्रोमा के चक्कर. शायद इस चक्कर में ही आप कुछ और खरीद ले. यह है क्रोमा की हिडेन पालिसी.
                              जिस परेशानी और मानसिक पीड़ा से मैं गुजर रहा हूं, ऐसी नौबत आपके साथ न आये, इसी कामना के साथ मैं आपको सावधान कर रहा हूं, बस.

                                I bought a Visenta V1 wireless keyboard from Croma, Gharkopar on 21/03/2010. I also join their extended warranty plan by giving few extra rupees. At the time of purchase the croma salesman said that I can come to croma store if it gets some bug or not working. In few months keyboard stopped working. I went to croma store on 01/10/2010 as my keyboard is in warranty. Initially they denied for service saying you will have to go to service centre for repair or replacement. I waited for half an hour and then discussion of half an hour more they agreed to take it but said it may take months. The guy who handled my case was very rude and since I forced him to take the keyboard he vaguely said it will take there months. I feel that he will make sure it take at-least four months. Today, after a month I called them asking about the status, and the same guy told me that keyboard is still with them and he said it will take few months. I really feel cheated and I don't see how they do business in extremely competitive environment with such behavior. The main points are

                                1. Customer satisfaction does not matter for them especially when you buy something which is not very expensive.
                                2. The customer care executives are very rude and don't know how to talk to customers so if you want to be humiliated go to them.

                                I would suggest my fellow friends not to go for Croma store in any case.

                                I bought a micromax funbook infinity p 275 from Croma Koramangala Bangalore on 17 feb 2013. Serial number is v[protected]
                                mep no 8503in the month of march

                                The software of the tablet got corrupted and I had submitted to Croma service desk for repair in the month of March. I was given a receipt for follow up. The tablet was send to Micromax service center.

                                After frequent follow and visits to Croma I was called one day to collect the tablet in the month of May 2013.

                                To my surprise there were other issue like
                                1) Camera was not working,
                                2) Not getting charged,
                                3) Tablet screen is replaced with some other old damaged second hand screen which happens to have lot of scratches also
                                4) I could see the tablet screws are protruding outside and also lost safety cap
                                I have asked Croma to Fix all this and given me back my tablet in the same submitted status, which has even the screen guards for protecting screen.
                                I have resubmitted this to Croma and Croma to Micromax on 09/06/2013. They took my old receipt and gave me a new one. This is 6 months now and I have been following up weekly on this.

                                I got a message from Croma Manager Uma (mobile [protected]) to come and collect it from the croma store. The message read "Sir Pls collect ur tablet 4rm the croma store. Which is in koramangala 6th blk. near to Sony world signal." dated 30/07/2013
                                I went to croma store to collect it today.3/08/2013.
                                To my surprise they have lost my tablet somewhere.
                                Uma has requested me to again wait till they find it. The Koramangala store manager (mobile [protected]) said he is not responsible he can look into it on Monday.
                                I asked him for a refund or I was also ready to buy anything of equivalent or more price from croma if I get a refund for this.

                                They have completely denied all my request and asked me to wait until they find it.
                                My experience with croma is that for this same issue I have visited Croma several times (may be 15 to 20 times) since March
                                Uma (mobile [protected]) used to fool me always saying she will get it done in one week.
                                I have paid 20 rupees as parking charges every time I have visited croma + petrol (my house is 12 km away from Croma) + time (every time I would have spent 1 to 2 hours waiting for resolution)
                                I wanted Croma manager to provide a letter in writing that he will fix it on coming Monday, he has denied that also.
                                I require a refund for the Tablet now.

                                  I am a regular customer of Croma. On my last visit to Croma Bandra,I was approached by them to apply for a TATA Croma card (apparently with SBI). Already having a few credit cards, I was reluctant and refused at first but was later told that I could discontinue the credit card next year and use it only as a Tata croma membership card to redeem points as discounts. Having purchased a fair bit from Croma this year I figured that the points could get me a big discount and hence filled out the form. A copy of my existing credit card, driving licence etc was taken for the issue of membership cum credit card. After about a week, I have received the following sms from them ......"We regret, we are unable to accept your request for TATAcard at this point of time as it does not meet our internal policy for card issuance"
                                  It is a pity that a brand like TATA is insulting its regular and valued customers by first pursuing them to sign up for a credit card and then refusing them.

                                  I was offered the TATA Croma card at the juhu Croma store. After accepting the offer, have received several calls for confirmatory checks. Even a person showing up at my door step. But the card has yet to be delivered. When I visited the same store and inquired about the card, i was told to look it up on the net. It's a shame; very shoddy job by the TATA Croma team. I do not feel like shopping in Croma again!

                                    Sir, I purchase a Sony Bravia LCD TV in 2008 with one year company warranty + 2 year Extende warranty by Croma for which I paid Rs.2,000/- extra.
                                    I lodge complaint for "No Video in TV" on 18/10/2010 on[protected] which is extended warranty call centre vide complaint no.5163.
                                    At that time I was told that it will be attended within 48 hours.
                                    Even after 10 reminders and personnel visit to Croma Himalaya Mall nobody has come to rescue.
                                    It is most hopeless Shop on earth.

                                      i agree this Croma products are bad, they work for only 1 year after that it got damage, other product gives 2-3 years warranty and this guys dont even give any warranty please band this croma products as soon as possible,

                                        I have bought a sony bravia EX6 series LED TV from Croma on 09th Oct. The Sales Rep who was servicing me promised that the delivery and installation will happen the next day before 12 noon as I was staying in Aundha which was near to Croma store.

                                        I accepted their word of mouth and went on to procure the TV from Croma though there is a Sony Outlet in Aundh itself. After repeated calls on 10th Oct I was delivered the TV around 4:45 PM. The delivery boys confirmed that the installation will be done latest by 24 hrs from Delivery.

                                        When I called Croma today they mentioned that they will get in touch with service centre and will try to find out when the installation can happen. They promised to call me. After two hours of not receiveing any calls I called the customer service no 6500 3666. After number of attempts I was able to connect and the person now says that he has now logged request for installation and the same will be done in next 48 hours. When I asked the reason why the installation request was logged after sale or after delivery he was unable to provide any response. He mentioned that service personal from Sony takes time to come and it will be done in 48 hours. If I have to wait this long why then Croma is selling Sony items in that case we consumers are better of buying from the company outlet itself where Service is of much higher notch than provided by Croma.

                                        I had procurred from Croma only because of the brand name of TATA but the unprofessional manner in which they operate is really pathetic. Also don't understand the reason for giving false commitments.

                                        I am ready to return the item to Croma and buy the same item from Sony which anyday should have been a better option.
